The Atlesian ship tore off towards the city as fast as it could, but by the time it got there, the four could already see Grimm running rampant in the streets. They could also see that other Huntsmen and Huntresses had already arrived and were fighting them off; even the new model of Atlesian Knights were doing their part, but it still looked like they could use some help.

"Open the doors!" Winter called, "We'll drop out from here."

Slayer cocked his shotgun: "Aw, yeah. Time to bust some heads!"

Julius donned his new sunglasses, the drew his sword and said: "You said it, buddy." As the doors to the ship opened, revealing a pack of Beowulfs below.

"Welp, first call, first serve!" Julius said, falling out of the ship like a skydiver. Slayer jumped out after, then Hector and Winter close behind. Julius was the first to land, driving his sword into the head of the poor Grimm that happened to be right under him. Slayer landed on another Grimm, crushing the monster's head under his boot. Hector simply camouflaged, landed silently on the ground, and then began swiftly executing the other Grimm with his katanas. Winter landed on the ground behind them, slicing the Grimm next to her as she did. As she stood back up, she turned to the others.

"I need to go help the Atlesian forces," she said, "You guys do what you need to. We'll discuss the mission with Ironwood later." And she ran off.

"You heard her, fellas," Julius said, "Let's kick some ass!"

Just then, he looked around and had noticed Hector had disappeared.

"Wait, where'd Hector go?" he said.

"Ah, he probably turned invisible and ran off. I'm sure he'll be fine. Let's go." Slayer said. Julius nodded and the two ran off down the street. Turning a corner, they saw another Beowulf pack, and Slayer got an idea.

"I've been meaning to try this out." He said, pulling out his chainsaw. He then loaded a red dust crystal into the fuel tank, but once he did, the chainsaw's blade began to glow orange with heat.

"Should it be doing that?" Julius asked.

"Only one way to find out," Slayer said, revving the chainsaw. By this time, the pack had seen the two and were now charging at them. Julius lifted his sword and said, "This is gonna get real messy."

"I wouldn't have it any other way." Slayer replied, and then he charged at the Grimm, raising his chainsaw high in the air and letting out a war cry. Julius teleported behind the pack and began striking from behind, taking the ones in the back by surprise. Meanwhile, once he reached the front of the pack, Slayer brought his chainsaw down on the first Grimm, cleaving it's entire body in two down the middle. He then continued his attack, swinging the flaming chainsaw around in a fiery tornado of death, slicing Grimm that got too close and burning the others. Within a few seconds, the pack was destroyed from both sides.

"One pack down, a couple dozen more to go," Slayer said.

"Well then," Julius said, "Let's get busy."

The two continued down the road, cutting down stray Grimm that crossed their path, until they reached a more open part of the town, there they saw a massive hole in the street.

"That must be where the Grimm are coming from." Julius said.

Slayer put his chainsaw away, pulling out his new Battle Torch, and said: "Then let's keep any more from coming."

They ran up to the area just as they saw an Ursa go flying back, slamming into a wall and dying. Yang ran up from where the Ursa flew; it was clear she had hit it.

"Yang!" Julius said. Yang turned to see Julius and Slayer as they walked up.

"Hey guys!" she said, "You missed quite a party."

"Not all of it apparently," Julius said, noticing a small group of Mutant Creeps running towards them.

"I got this one," Slayer said, switching the barrel mods on the Torch. Aiming at the Creeps, he fired an explosive shot that detonated in the middle of the Grimm, disintegrating the entire group. Yang nodded and smiled, thoroughly impressed.

"Not bad," she said, "Well, come on, the real fight's this way!"

She led the two towards another street where the last of the Grimm were being herded in and killed off by both Huntsmen as well as Atlesian Knights.

"Save some for me!" Julius said, teleporting into the Grimm horde and cutting them down with his sword. Slayer switched mods on the Torch again and fired a stream of flame into the Grimm, slicing limbs and burning holes in their faces. Within a few minutes, the last of the Grimm were killed off, and Professor Goodwitch sealed the hole.

Roman was found and arrested, and Mercury and Emerald were seen pushing him into an Atlesian prison transport.

"Oh no, I can't believe you actually caught me. You've really taught me the error of my ways." Roman said sarcastically. Then he noticed Julius watching him, and slyly winked. Julius simply nodded back. Then, Ruby ran up, hugging Julius tightly.

"You made it!" she said.

"Of course I did." He said, struggling to get out of Ruby's vise-like grip.

The rest of Team RWBY walked up, and it took all three of them to pry Ruby off of her brother.

"So," Julius said once he was free, "How'd your mission go?"

"Well…" Yang said, "We kinda made that hole in the ground that let the Grimm in sooooo…."

"That was you?"

"Unfortunately," Weiss said.

"What about you?" Blake asked.

"Well, it's a long story. I'll explain later. Oh, and Blake, I did end up meeting an old friend of yours. His name was Hector; that name mean anything to you?"

Blake gasped: "He was there?"

"He's here too." Said a voice behind them. Ruby screamed and jumped into Weiss's arms as Hector materialized from behind them.

"We kinda ran into each other by accident." He continued.

"So," Blake said, "We found the White Fang base and destroyed a lot of their weaponry, if that makes you happy."

"It does." Hector replied, "I'm also glad that human leading them is now behind bars. Finally got some breathing room for us."

"Hey, guys!" Slayer called over to Julius and Hector, "Ironwood wants to see us now!" Julius nodded, then turned to the others: "I gotta go. See you gals later tonight."

"I hope so," Yang said, "We have a LOT to catch up on."

A few moments later, Julius, Hector, and Slayer stood in from of Ozpin's desk in his office along with Ozpin, Ironwood, Winter, and Dr. Hayden. Winter had finished explaining what happened during the mission, and Hector had to introduce himself. Despite Ironwood's doubt, Ozpin decided to trust him and let him stay.

"Thank you, Winter," Ironwood said when Winter finished her side of the story, "You are dismissed. I'll call you back for a private discussion on this matter later."

Winter saluted: "Yes sir," and turned to leave the room. Once she did, Hayden spoke up first: "A Cyberdemon? Are you sure?"

"Absolutely," Slayer said, "It couldn't have been anything else. My best guess was that it may have been a commander of some kind."

"How did it get there?" Ironwood asked.

Slayer shrugged: "The base went into self-destruct the second we killed the thing so we didn't have time to figure anything out."

"I'll need to strengthen VEGA's sensors," Hayden said, "Hopefully, we won't be surprised by something like that again."

Ironwood nodded, then turned to Julius and Slayer: "If what Winter said is true, and I'm sure it is, you two preformed exceedingly well, and while your appearance, Hector, was a bit unexpected, I wouldn't say it would be unwelcome in this one case."

"I agree," Ozpin said, "You are free to stay with us at Beacon if you like. I'm sure you would fit right in."

"I appreciate the offer," Hector said, "But for now, I would rather work alone. This was a chance meeting, and, while I have nothing against it, I would rather stay solo for now."

"I understand," Ozpin said, "Just remember that Beacon's doors are open to you if you change your mind."

Hector nodded, "Thank you."

"The pleasure is mine. You may go now if you wish. I hope we meet again."

Hector nodded and turned to leave, but as he did, Julius stopped him and whispered: "Meet me outside the tower later. There's something I want to talk to you about. It'll be quick, I promise."

"Fine. Tonight then." Hector replied, then he walked out of the room.

"Sureya," Hayden said, getting Slayer's attention, "It's become clear that you are more than capable of handling both yourself and your team in a fight. Your father taught you well."

"He did indeed," Slayer replied.

"And Julius," Ozpin said, "Based on Winter's report, you too performed well during the mission. Is there anything else you would like to add?"

Julius shook his head: "Winter summed it up pretty well actually."

"Atlas thanks you for your help," Ironwood said, "And to show our gratitude, we've decided to give you both a special…gift, you might say. Novus Sureya, you will find yours back at you and Penny's room, courtesy of Dr. Hayden and Polendina. Julius, yours is waiting outside the building when you leave."

"What are they?" Julius asked.

"You'll have to find out." Ironwood replied with a smirk

"All in all, we both offer you our sincerest thanks," Ozpin said, "Now, I'm sure you are very tired and want to reunite with your friends."

Slayer stretched his arms a bit and yawned, unaware of how tired he was until Ozpin said it, "Yeah, I guess you could say something like that." he said.

Ozpin nodded: "The two of you may go. And thank you once again."

Julius and Slayer left the building, then Ozpin turned to Ironwood: "It has to be him. There's no other explanation."

"But why would he fight for us?" Ironwood said.

"I'm not quite sure, but it's clear he wants nothing to do with her, except to fight her. I say we use this to our advantage. We should trust him as well."

"I agree," Hayden said, "He hasn't shown any open hostility to any of us. Plus, that part Winter told us about him challenging the Sabyr like he did…none of it makes sense."

"We simply do not know the full story," Ozpin said, "I hope we find out soon though."

"As do I." Hayden replied, "There is obviously something else going on here that we do not yet know of, and I personally want to find out what."

Meanwhile, Julius and Slayer walked out of the building and into the courtyard. Julius immediately saw an object covered by a tarp of some kind nearby. An Atlesian Knight was standing there holding a plaque with Julius's name on it.

"Huh," he said, "Guess that's it."

"I should get back to Penny," Slayer said, "She's gonna want to know everything that happened."

Julius nodded and fist bumped Slayer, saying, "You go ahead. I'll catch ya later." Then, Julius walked over to the AK. Seeing him, the robot stood aside and pulled the tarp from the object, revealing a sleek, angular motorcycle with spikes angling around the wheels like tusks and miniguns pointing out of each side of the front wheel. Julius's jaw dropped in amazement.

"And suddenly getting bitch slapped by that cyber-thing was worth it." he finally said, climbing onto the bike. Gripping the handlebars, he heard a kind of mechanical hum as the device inside the handles scanned his fingerprints. A few seconds later, a beeping sound was heard as the machine recognized him, adding his fingerprints (on his real hand at least) to the security memory, and the bike rumbled to life.

"Aw, yeah. Yang's gonna be SO jealous." He said.

"Nice wheels, flyboy," said a voice behind him, and he turned to see Coco walk up to him.

"Sup, Coco," Julius said.

"Not much. About to join the rest of my team for a bit of needed rest. What about you?"

"Probably the same thing. Thanks for the sunglasses by the way."

"Don't mention it."

"Coco!" Velvet called from the distance, "You coming?"

"Coming!" Coco called back. Then, turning to Julius, "I gotta split."

"Go ahead. We'll talk later." Julius said, and he drove off in search of Team RWBY.

Later, Team RWBY was sitting in the school courtyard, looking out to the sunset.

"So, what now?" Yang said.

"I'd say start training for the tournament," Weiss said, "But I think we've pretty much got that covered by now."

"So then…?" Blake asked.

"Uhhhhh, Time for bed?" Ruby suggested.

Just then, a motorcycle could be heard behind them as Julius drove up.

"Found you!" he said. Yang turned around, and got wide eyed in awe at the sight of the bike.

"No way." She said, "When did you get THAT?"

"A few minutes ago. Atlas gave it to me." Julius replied.

"It looks like some kind of combat motorcycle," Blake said.

"Seems fitting for someone of your style," Weiss added.

"Are those actual miniguns!?" Ruby asked.

Julius chuckled: "Probably, yes it is, and yes they are. So, what you ladies up to?"

"We were about to head to our room actually," Yang said, "you can come with us if you want."

"I would love to," Julius replied, "Just let me park this thing an I'll meet up with you guys at the entrance to the dorm building. Anyone want a ride? I can only take one."

"I'll go," Yang said, "I'll need to show him where the parking garage is anyways."

"Fair enough," Julius said, revving the bike. Once Yang climbed on behind him, he drove off.

"That's so cool…" Ruby said in amazement.

Weiss sighed, "Let's just get to our room. I personally have had enough excitement for one night."

"That makes two of us,' Blake said, though she was glad to be reunited with Julius again; they had quite a bit to catch up on.

Meanwhile, Slayer finally made it back to his room. Once he walked in the door, Penny jumped off her bed, her face brimming in a smile.

"Damian!" she said in excitement, "You made it!"

"Of course I did," Slayer/Damian replied, and Penny ran up and hugged him.

"I missed you greatly," she said, "We have so much to talk about!"

Damian hugged back: "Hehe, oh yeah, we do."

Penny pulled back: "I almost forgot. Dr. Hayden came here earlier to give you something." She said, walking over to a briefcase on Damian's bed. Damian walked over and opened it to reveal an attachment to his gauntlets. Equipping them to his gauntlets, he activated the mechanism on them, flipping out a four foot blade on each forearm. They reminded him of the one his dad wore on one of his gauntlets.

"Awesome," he said.

"That is pretty amazing," Penny said. Damian retracted the blades and then sat down on his bed.

"Alright Penny," he said, "You said we had a lot to talk about. Where do you want to start."

Penny eagerly sat down next to him, and, leaning on his shoulder, said: "Let's see…"

Slayer could tell this was going to be a long night.

In another part of town, Cinder, Emerald, and Mercury were standing on one of the buildings in ton, unnoticed by the other people.

"Well," Cinder said, "Overall, I would call this day a success."

"Those stupid kids really made a mess of things," Emerald said.

"No kidding," Mercury agreed, "A lot of faunus didn't make it out of the tunnels. You really think the White Fang will still listen to us?"

"No," said a voice, and the three turned to see Adam Taurus walk up.

"But they'll listen to me." Adam finished. Unknown the them, Hector was on the same roof, watching and invisible. Once he saw Adam, he clenched his teeth in anger; if there was one person he hated above all else, it was Adam Taurus. And Hector planned on making his time in Vale a living nightmare.
