Arc 2 Chapter 7: Jojo's Finest Hour

As Kenshi and the other 4 were running through the building to avoid the others, they heard a sound. It was glass breaking. Kenshi turned to Jiro.

"What's going on?" Kenshi asked.

Jiro then put her earphones near a wall in order to find out what was happening.

"It looks like we got examinees on the other side," she said, "They must be planning something."

The leader of the girls known as Saiko started putting her plan into motion. She turned on a speaker and put the volume super loud. It was too much for Jirou and she yanked her earphone jack out. Her ear began to bleed.

"Shit…." she said, "My ear…."

Saiko smirked.

"Phase 1 complete," she said, "Now to deal with the others in Phase 2."

Another student prepared some kind of freezer and allowed the cold air to come from a vent. Tsu found herself getting weaker.

"Tsu, what's wrong?" Kenshi asked.

"I'm weak to super cold temperatures…." She weakly said. "It hastens the bodies metabolism, so I can't produce weapons or provide assistance very fast right now."

Kenshi was thinking about all this. It wouldn't make sense for them to know about all this. Unless…..

"RIN!" He said.

Rin was behind the entire scheme. He had given those students the idea to make the other's quirks useless in certain situations, like Tsu's weakness to cold temperatures. He was waiting for Momo to use her quirk lipids so she would be weak. Kenshi however wasn't gonna let that happen.

Player Alpha appeared before him. He knew exactly what the team needed.

"Choose this item," Alpha said, "It has some kind of heating protocol that warms someone up for a short amount of time."

He pulled out his gaming inventory and discovered some items. He grabbed some kind of bottle with a red liquid and gave it to the others.

"Here," he said, "These should keep you warm for at least 12 minutes."

Tsu took a drink and found herself getting warmer. The others were the same. Kenshi then took some cotton and placed it around Jirou's ear to stop the bleeding. He then turned to Momo.

"Can I count on you to take care of them til I get back?" he asked.

Momo nodded. She then gave him a quick kiss for luck.

"Be careful Kenshi," she said.

"Good luck Jotaro," Tsu said warming up.

Kenshi sighed and said, "Call me Jojo."

He pulled out a hammer Harley Quinn style and bashed the doors down, chasing after Rin. Saiko and her team started heading into the room, ready to take Momo's group out. Momo wasn't going to let that happen. She devised a plan to deceive them.

Saiko opened the door and noticed that Momo and the others were lying on the ground, pretending to be unconscious. She then smirked believing her plan was successful. However, one of her comrades with red hair noticed something wrong. One of the members was missing. She pulled out a piece of her hair and slightly jabbed Jirou to wake her up.

"Do you really think we're that gullible?" she asked.

"Shit….." Jiro said.

"If you value your weak spots, and your hero license, you'll tell us where the gamer boy is," the red haired girl said, "Otherwise, your left ear will get the same treatment."

Jiro refused to talk, not wanting to let her friend down.

"Very well then," the red haired girl said, "Looks like I'll have to…."

She was interrupted by a door being thrown in her face, as she released Jiro from her grip. Jiro and Momo turned to see someone with her arm completely covered in crystal.

"It's you…" Jirou said.

Back in the main area, Izuku was deflecting balls keeping them from coming anywhere near his friends. The Full Force Gauntlets were doing wonders for him. Sonders took one of the balls and hit a student at a weakspot eliminating him.

"Yea!" he shouted.

"Don't get too cocky!" Izuku said, "We still gotta survive."

Another student with a quirk involving fireballs started shooting some of the balls that were in flames. Izuku started evading them by dodging left and right and jumping. Ochako noticed that Izuku waas close to the edge.

"Deku look out!" she said.

Izuku looked at her and didn't notice a ball coming his way. While it didn't hit a weak spot it made him lose balance. He started to fall off the platform. He was prepared to use his fists to cushion the fall, however, the impact never came.

Izuku opened his eyes and noticed that he was floating. He looked up to Ochako and smiled.

"You're always there to save my skin," he said.

"That wasn't me tho…" Ochako said.

Izuku realized that he was floating on his own. His eyes started to glow and time stood still. He found himself in the hall of OFA users and Nana Shimura was looking at him.

Dreamscape

Nana Shimura approached the young boy with a smile.

"Well you should be proud of yourself Izuku," she said, "Something incredible has happened."

Izuku was confused.

"You unlocked a new quirk in your OFA arsenal," Nana told him, "You've unlocked mine to be specific, Float. Or well now its basically a flight quirk, but either way, you can now fly like superman, but not yet, you'll have to train it, right now was just me saving your butt in front of your girlfriend."

Izuku blushed. A light emerged bringing Izuku back to reality.

Back to the real world.

"Looks like grandma's quirk activated." Izuku mutters to himself as he lands on his feet. Ochako noticed that he was in his muttering state.

"Deku? Deku…" She said trying to get him out, "DEKU!"

Izuku immediately got out of his trance. "What, what Happened?" He asked.

"You've been muttering for quite some time." Ochako tells the boy.

"Nothing too important here, i'll tell you after the exam. We need to get moving. Now." Izuku says.

"I don't think we'll be able to." Ochako says. "We're surrounded if you've forgotten."

"Oh right, uhhhh, I need you to float me, they'll target me with the rubber balls and i can kick them back towards them with a St. Louise." Izuku tells her. "And before you ask, the floating was an accident. I'll explain later."

"Alright." Ochako says all pumped up.

With Kenshi and his group.

Kenshi rushed to the top of the building following Rin's footsteps. He was determined to settle the score with him, once and for all, and get payback for the years of bullying. He busted through the double doors leading to the roof looking for Rin. All he could hear was his laughter.

"It's no use hiding Rin!" Kenshi said, "There's nowhere else to go!"

"Who's hiding?" Rin asked, "I'm just waiting for my golden opportunity to crush you."

Kenshi turned around to see Rin ready to fight, with a water whip in hand.

"I've been waiting for this day for a long, long time Bulldozer," Rin said, "The day where I crush you and make you learn your place in this world. The world will know that Kenshi Jotaro is nothing more than a mere dreamer who only cares about himself. You abandoned your friends for revenge on me, and you call yourself a true hero."

"I think you forgot what actually happened that day, rin." Kenshi shouts back. "I never left you all. Plus you were never my friends, all you did was stick with me because of my family name, that is not what friends do, friends stand up for each other, did you guys do that."

Kenshi clenched his fists as he glared at the former middle school student.

"No. All you ever did was rip on me for what my dad did, you bullied me, treated me like shit," Kenshi told him, "You were the reason i was you were the reason i was ignored by the school and you were the reason Maho left me in the first place, but i should thank you for that, it was because of whatever happened back then that i met my video game queen. And she has shown me what a true friend is, so don't ever tell me that I abandoned my friends and that i'm not a true hero, when it is you that is a stain to the name of a true hero!"

Rin attempted to strike Kenshi with his water whip but Kenshi dodged away and made a weapon.

"You can't beat me Rin!" Kenshi shouted.

"This is my moment!" Rin said, "MY DESTINY!"
