Chapter 23

In three weeks, the clones emerged.

The serpent men looked about the ship yet appeared rather confusing. "Where are we?"

"Who are we?"

"What is this place?"

Gene however sent in his own clone, he had been spending the past few weeks in educating it so it can help the others when they wake. He was quick to explain to them the circumstances of their 'births'. "We are the last males for this race to survive. The others had been killed many years ago, however thanks to these aliens, we are brought back to life and are able to help them."

They paused to the statement. "Wait, we're the only males of this world?" asked the serpent version of Muman Rider. "How… how do we help them?"

"I have spoken with their leader, we are going to be chosen by the females of this particular group and we will start families!" Gene's clone explained. "Oh, we need names. For now call me Cy!"

They looked to each other oddly. "I wish to be called Tank," said the Tank Top Master clone.

"Ryder!" called the Muman clone.

Gene got some good samples. From what I can tell, they were from good heroes too. He managed to use some of the Brawler DNA to bring back not just Street and Knuckle once more, but made them serpent as well. There was also Stinger, Snek, Tank Top Master, Muman Rider, Lightning Max, Crescent Moon, One shooter, Zombieman, Flash just to name a few. But they all appeared to understand why they are there.

I came out to introduce myself to them.

I took them aback, yet settled when Cy explained I assisted in bringing them to life and saving this world. "Gentlemen, I am Boros, and I will be bringing you to the planet Medusa to help these people. Now, before I do. Are there any questions?"

Some hands went up. Knuckle's look alike asked. "Is there enough to eat down there?"

I snickered. "Plenty"

Tank's hand then went up. "Now about these women…" he asked with a sly tone. "What do we do? I mean, are we the ones in charge? Males tend to be don't they?"

"According to who?" I asked. He appeared rather stunned to my comment as I explained to him. "You are going to be in a relationship with many females, however each of them needs to know that they are indeed special as well as needed in your family. You will be taking care of the children, for they are going to develop inside of you for safety, you are strong males and can protect the unborn rather easily. But everyone plays a part in this. Understood? It's not left to male or female jobs, everyone cooperates!" I stated. "If not, I will personally remove you from the planet!"

They feverishly nodded in agreement.

"Wow, I never knew that…" whispered Stinger's look alike.

"Now, let's go introduce you."

It was a strange standoff to say the least.

When I arrived with the males, the females came armed to the teeth with their weapons. Spears, daggers and swords were at the ready in case something were to go wrong.

The males appeared a little hesitant to step forward, much to my surprise. Snek's clone did. He bowed graciously before the female's leader. "We are pleased to meet your acquaintance. I am Sneak," he explained. "We hope to help you rebuild this world, if you allow us."

She appeared stunned by his manners, she then turned to me oddly. "What have you done to the males?!"

I was rather stunned. "Why, what is wrong?"

"They are never this humble nor are they this open minded!" She came over to me and whispered. "The males we lived with… they made us do everything. They were killed for they never listened to us or believed what we said. None took a female's words seriously."

I nodded to her statement. "Rest assured, these males will listen to you. They also understand that the work is to be shared among their spouses and themselves. They have vowed to me they will do such things and ensure the health and prosperity of their loved ones." I decreed.

She was stunned.

Her eyes then turned to Sneak. With that, she bowed to him. "We humbly accept. Tonight we will have a feast and match making celebration!" she called.

The females cheered aloud, however she turned to them, the tip of her tail wrapped around Sneak's. "This male is mine!" she decreed.

The others wanted to stake their claim as well, but the queen held them off on it. "Wait until after, as well. We need to properly adjust our numbers, one male per 10 females."

"WAIT!"

"NO FAIR!"

"NOT ENOUGH!"

The women were shouting angrily to the decree. I decided to step in. "Excuse me, ladies… is no one else seeing the greater picture here?" I asked.

They turned and glared at me. "Ladies, let those more experienced than you choose and mate first. Then the first brood will come about and there will be more males… younger males…. Stronger males for you to select from, and then soon, you won't need harems. You will have a male for yourselves and yourselves alone!"

This got their interest.

"Will you send more? We are not the only village here." Their leader asked.

I nodded. "In due time, first let's make certain things work out here, if they do. We will get more males for you, and spread them across your great world." I explained.

They settled a little more, yet the younger females were upset they had to wait.

They made a grand feast.

Half of the males went to hunt with the females, at the same time they got to know them better and understand their needs as well, what they themselves could do to help better their lives. They ate and drank well, their leader then announced for ten of the older females to come forward.

Ten did.

"I wish for you to inspect the males, and chose which one you desire." She explained. "Choose wisely, there is no altering your minds"

The ten approached the men who spaced themselves out accordingly. They looked them over up and down, taking in their height as well as size. I was stunned that they even looked at the smaller males just as intensely as the larger ones. Then they picked.

None of them chose the same male, but they appeared content with their choices.

It went into the night.

300 females and 30 males matched!

"Rather large harems…" I muttered.

Their leader satisfied with the result and encouraged her people to 'live in the moment and enjoy their families'.

I went back on the ship before that happened! Gene asked me if it all went well.

"I am certain it did, however I wouldn't go down there for a while…"

"Perhaps it's best we move on then huh?"

"Yes, let's!"
