Amity has always followed the staff speeding limit... except for today. She was going as fast as possible with Willow and Boscha on with her. She was trying to remain calm, but between the practical war going on beneath them and the Triclops about to give birth was really wearing out her patience.
"Okay, Boscha, we're almost there." Amity said.
"Hurry!"
Amity landed and her and Willow rushed Boscha to the Medical Wing. Healer's instantly brought her to a bed.
"Mama?!"
Ivy ran up to the bed and looked at her mom with fear. Boscha looked at her and gave her a pained smile. She put a hand on Ivy's head and ruffled her hair.
"I... I'm fine, honey. T-t-the baby just really wants to meet you. E-e-everything will be fine."
Boscha started screaming as a contraction happened. Ivy was escorted out of the room by Amity. Ivy was beyond nervous, what if something happens? What if her mother dies giving birth? Hell, there was a hostile terrorist attack going on outside the damn building! Amity looked at Ivy, the poor girl, so much has happened in the past few days that she must be traumatized. From the looks of it, she hasn't been able to focus or do anything. She's probably been wearing her Hexside uniform for a week straight. Amity watched as Azura walked up to Ivy and grabbed her cowl. She pulled her close and press their lips together. Amity smiled; it was nice to see that they had each other in case something bad happens. She hopes Luz is okay. Nathaniel easily walked to the Throne Room, where he found his Niece.
"Well, it looks like this is the end." He said, "Give up now and I'll end your life as painless as possible."
Luz held out her hand and her staff materialized.
"Strong silent type, huh? I like that. You know, you get that from your father." He said, "I've always wondered... how did it feel to murder him?"
Luz stayed still. Nathaniel laughed and sent a fire spell at her, she seemed to melt into the ground, to avoid the spell, and then manifest behind him.
"That's not the only thing I got from him." She said.
She made a spell circle and a white outline surrounded him. Luz moved her hand and sent him flying into the wall. Luz slammed her staff on the ground and Ice spike encased his body.
"You're stong." Nathaniel said.
He easily broke the ice and walked up to Luz. Luz made another spell circle and blinded him with a large light spell. Luz slammed her staff against his head and he started to stumble. Luz hit him in the stomach with her Palisman and he bent over, trying to catch the breath that escaped from the sudden impact. Luz made another spell circle, in hopes of finishing it when he hit her in the stomach, causing her to fall back. Nathaniel jumped at her and she put her staff up. He grabbed it and it became a test of strenght.
"Truly a shame. I thought being a Belos would make you strong. But you're just weak and frail, like the human you are." Nathaniel said.
"I'm... not... weak!" Luz said.
"Please, you're nothing but a weakling. Just like your mother. If you were strong, then you would be able to stop me." Luz started laughing, "What's so funny? I'm about to kill everything you love!"
"You aren't that smart, are you? I'm just the distraction."
Nathaniel couldn't get a word out when a fist hit the side of his face.
"Never... call my daughter weak."
"Impossible."
"Miss me, Nathaniel?"
"How? How are you here?!"
Luz got up and smiled.
"Oh, it's just a simple spell... a forbidden spell that's capable of bringing someone back to life." Luz looked up and smiled, "Would you like the honor's Papá? You and Uncle Nate must have so much catching up to do."
Alexander ruffled Luz's hair and smiled.
"Thank you, darling. Go enjoy the show."
Luz walked over to the throne and sat down. A large smile plastered on her face. Alex ran at Nathaniel and hit him hard in the head. Nathaniel stumbled and held his head.
"I've waited for almost forty years to see you again, hoping that I could've saved you from the last battle we had. Now, I'm glad to see you again, so I can beat you to death." Alex said.
Nathaniel tried to hit Alex but he easily dodged it.
"You're getting slow in your old age, little brother."
"Go to hell, Alex."
He tried to swing at Alex again but it was caught with ease.
"I, however, died at a relatively young age. Meaning I'm still able to move as if I'm a much younger man."
Alexander dropped Nathaniel's hand and grabbed him by the neck. Alexander reached up, grabbed his mask, and threw it on the ground.
"Look at me, Nathaniel. Look what you did." He said, pointing at his eye, "You ruined my life that day. Because of what you did, I became blind in one eye, had severe mental damage, became a mean, ruthless, and abusive person. But what makes it worse, was the fact that you ruined my chance of being happily married, you ruined my chance of having a family... You ruined the only chance I had at seeing my daughter grow up and become the beautiful young lady, and great Emperor, she is today. You ruined my entire life! As the old saying goes, an eye... for an eye!"
He summoned a knife and stabbed Nathaniel in the same eye that Alex was stabbed in almost four decades before. He dropped Nathaniel and kicked him as he was getting up. He kneeled down and started punching Nathaniel repeatedly. He grabbed the knife and pulled it out. He stepped on Nathaniel's chest, preventing him from getting up.
"It's over Nathaniel."
"How did you beat me?"
"You were prepared to fight my daughter, not me. Catching you by surprise was the only way to beat you. You should know that; it's how you always fight."
"So, what now? You going to kill me? Throw me in jail? Petrify me?"
"All of those would be too simple. Instead, you'll be banished to a place you can never get out of. The Dark Realm."
Luz walked up and her and Alexander opened the portal to the Dark Realm.
"Goodbye, Uncle Nate." Luz said, kicking him into the portal.
They close the portal and Luz looked at her dad.
"He's gone?" She asked.
"He's gone."
"We won?"
"We've won."
"I can't believe it. Finally, peace can come back and nothing-"
"Emperor Noceda! Mrs. Park is giving birth!" A guard said.
I actually like how this went, it's weird but it shows the change of Alexander. He went from being the main antagonist in the first book to redeeming himself here. Follow, Favorite, and Review for more.
