The next day, after breakfast had come and gone, the Johnston household's brief peace was interrupted when the telephone rang, probably someone with the news that Ghost Godzilla had struck again.

Ben answered the phone, "Yes, GPN HQ, Ben speaking." He listened to the other end, "What, near Godzilla Island, last night? Thanks for calling."

"What the ruddy 'eck happened now?" Ian asked, he was visiting the "family" until the crisis had been dealt with. "A cargo ship was sunk last night. According to a final message from the ship, the sea erupted in flames."

Tim was shocked, "Just like the last messages from the ships that were sunk by the First Godzilla back in 1954, 51 years ago."

"Oh no." Alice breathed, "Oh no. We better get going."

Ben looked at her, "What? Where."

Alice looked at everyone, "We're going to the capital to tell the Prime Minister and ask him to put everyone on alert, I think I know where Ghost Godzilla will strike next. Kids, get your shoes on, pronto."

Tim and Katie nodded, looking at each other, before dashing to their room to grab their shoes. "Is there room in the auto for me?" Ian asked, Ben nodded, "The family car has room for extra guests whenever they come see us."

"How long does it take to get from our house to the government district in Tokyo, mum?" Tim asked as he and Katie came back out with their shoes on, dressed in decent shirts and pants.

"Dear?" Alice turned to Ben.

He winked, "Well, I think I know how to get there so lets say its probably gonna be a half hour drive since we live in downtown Tokyo and government district uptown Tokyo is not far. So shall we go?"

PM Kamatakura was having tea with the members of his cabinet after a long early morning meeting, breathing in the breeze of fresh air coming in from the open window when there was a knock on the door.

"Who is it?" He called, setting his cup down. His adviser, Takayashi, who was on the other side of the door, replied, "It's the Johnstons, Ben, Tim and Katie (his kids), Alice Foxingtarn and a British guy."

Kamatakura grunted, "Let 'em in."

The brown wooden door opened and Takayashi walked in, leading Ben, Ian, Alice, Tim and Katie. "What is it?" Kamatakura asked, "Is it something to do with the Ghost Godzilla crisis?"

Ben nodded, "This is urgent, Prime Minister. A cargo ship was sunk last night. There was a radio message from the ship and there were witnesses who were rowing away before it went up in flames."

Ian chimed in, "According to them, its bloody well just like the last messages from the ships that were sunk back in 1954."

"No doubt about it." Kamatakura was shocked, things making sense, "The Godzilla from 1954 has returned as a ghost and is following a path similar as the one before, sinking and attacking ships and appearing at Odo Island.

"The only differences is that it attacked a military base and a nuclear power plant. But how, how did the beast come back from the afterlife? Something must've disturbed its grave. Ben, you all must solve the mystery."

"OH MY GOSH!" Kamatakura's top adviser Yano, who was finishing his tea and sitting on a brown sofa, exclaimed in Japanese, smacking himself in the face. "Why didn't I realize before?"

Everyone looked at him.

"What is it, Yano." The PM asked.

Yano put his cup away and dug through a pile of papers before finding a brown file, he raced over to the PM's table and placed the file on it, opening it up, revealing a picture of a mad man with whacky hair, wearing a lab coat. The title of the very picture read; Doctor John K.

Flipping a page, there was a document, the title reading; Project Ghostly Resurrection of Radioactive Dinosaur. Everyone gasped. "Who is this Dr. J Koschizawa?"

Tim asked, "Is he bad news?"

Yano's eyes were wide, "What kind of question is that, kid? Doctor John Koschizawa is a scientist who was mocked and rebuked by the scientific community, his intelligence and his inventions laughed at by the whole world many times during one a science fair 20 years ago."

"So what's this have to do with our ghost?" Alice asked.

"Want me to guess and figure it out?" Ian volunteered, putting on glasses and beginning to examine the documents. "Koschizawa began research on ghosts, just like me. He learned of a stopped excavation in Tokyo Bay and learned that it was gonna be in the spot where the Oxygen Destroyer went off.

"Judging by what I'm reading, he was fed up with being mocked and wanted to make the world pay. I'm starting to read a paragraph where he's on about unleashing the spirit of 54 Godzilla upon the planet, taking over the world and reviving the dinosaurs... No frickin' way."

Yano nodded, "I know, that was my reaction when I first read into it all."

"There's gotta be something we can do. Isn't there? Kamatakura asked, "We have to not only deal with this madman but somehow send our ghost buddy back to the grave and ensure he will never again return."

There was a look of fear in his face as he said it, remembering the ruins of 1950s Tokyo after the first Godzilla attacked, the hospitals flowing with survivors, radiation-stricken and injured civilians along with those who were beyond saving as their lives were slowly ending, victims of a rampage.

He could remember the remains of those who were burned by the beast's nuclear breath or trampled on under the daikaiju's feet while he, Koshi roamed the streets of the decimated city, looking for his family and struggling not to let old memories resurface, memories of when the atom bombs were dropped.

On that day, August 6th, 1945 and, again, August 9th, Kamatakura had been lucky to survive but almost lost his parents both times. When Godzilla came, Koshi was separated from his family during the chaos.

He had been very lucky to survive a radioactive catastrophe again and the morning after Tokyo was destroyed, Koshi was reunited with his mum, who wasn't hurt, and his pop, who was badly wounded to a point where he had to be taken to the hospital where the doctors did all they could to save him.

In the years following, as he was getting into politics, Kamatakura would occasionally be haunted by memories of both the atom bombings and the night of the 1954 Godzilla's attack.

He would wake up in the late hours of the night after nightmares of nuclear explosions devastating cities and a gigantic dinosaur identical to Godzilla rising from the ocean, breathing fire and letting out an earth shattering roar.

"I believe there is a way we can stop that phantom." Ben said, an idea coming to mind. "Prime Minister, who defeated the alien monster Orga and blasted the aliens space ship to bits 5 years ago?" The PM looked surprised, snapping out of his memory lane trip, "Godzilla."

Alice winked, "But not the first one who's on his way towards Tokyo Bay, that's the new one who currently resides on the island we have called Godzilla Island. In fact, I think big Ghost Godzilla made a huge mistake attacking a ship that was sailing by the island."

"What do you mean, mommy?" Katie asked.

"Well, explosions are loud enough to wake up anybody right? So, Godzilla 2000 was probably sleeping near the beach when that happened and he woke up, saw Ghost Godzilla and is now pursuing the beast right now."

"Are you all saying Godzilla can beat his ancestor?"

"Yup, but things aren't probably going to look pretty. While Godzilla 2000 is super powerful and indestructible, it takes a bit to charge up his nuclear breath. Godzilla 1954?

"He's currently a ghost slowly regaining physical form, he's just as lethal and vicious as his descendant is. He can probably attack quickly with his flame breath, so while 2000 will have the upper hand for most of the fight, 1954 will be pulling out almost ALL of the punches.

"But one way or another, 2000 cannot be destroyed. When it comes to 54's weakness, he's probably still immune to conventional weapons and might not be beaten by an Oxygen Destroyer like he was years before.

"The only thing that can damage him is our Godzilla's nuclear breath, Godzilla 2000 may be super resistant to certain energy attacks, but said energy attacks might be enough to enrage him. When the aliens blasted him, he became so angry it gave him the strength to fight until he bested them..."

"You also miss a point." Ian interjected, "Ghost Godzilla has to reach physical form and our Godzilla has to somehow bloody become super strong during the fight in order for Godzilla 2000 to ruddy well gain the upper hand over Godzilla 1954.

"Also, in case if the big battle spills out from Tokyo Bay into the city itself, civilians may have to evacuate from the city."

Kamatakura's face became pale white, "Wh-what?" Ben nodded, "You heard us, Prime Minister. Ghost Godzilla is on his way right now as we speak, Godzilla 2000 is probably pursuing him. But of course, things might get ugly. So just in case, the city must be evacuated."

Tim chimed in, "Also, in fact, we may have to move to a top security fallout bunker underground to stay out of the way. Is there some kind of bunker here?"

Yano chuckled, "You're in luck, kid. Like with all capital buildings, there is a bunker that was designed just in case if something like a nuclear holocaust or a radioactive monster attack happens. Of course, we have electronics in there enough to power TVs and a big view screen that shows what is going on."

Koshi was still nervous, "I understand how dire things are getting, but I don't want the city getting decimated. A-after all, I just got it fully rebuilt after the catastrophe of five years back. What about the mad scientist guy?"

Alice thought about that for a minute, "We'll deal with him later. When it comes to Ghost G, lets stay on that topic.

"We have to prepare for his arrival, maybe stall him until our Godzilla catches up with him. I'm thinking military and air force. Prime Minister, sir? Can you get the military and air force commanders together and set up something at Tokyo Bay and Tokyo Harbor as some, uh, welcome committee?"

The PM told them he would see what he could do for the rest of the day, then the phone rang. Yano did the honors of answering it, "Yes. PM's office."

His face became white, "What? Thanks for calling." He hung up and looked at everybody in the room, "A navy patrol near Okinawa spotted Ghost G, he's moving towards Tokyo Bay..."

Every citizen in Tokyo was minding their business and going out their day, shopping and chilling, when a P.S.A system chimed and every TV screen and jumbotron flashed. "THIS IS A MESSAGE FROM THE GOVERNMENT OF JAPAN. WE INTERRUPT CURRENT PROGRAMS TO BRING A NEWS BULLETIN!"

More flashes of light on the screens and the Prime Minister's face in his office appeared, beginning his address.

" Citizens of Japan. I have a dire warning for all of you. The 1954 Godzilla has somehow returned from the grave and, after wrecking havoc elsewhere in the Pacific, is heading for Tokyo.

" As we speak, he is getting closer towards the bay area, this is not a drill. After talking with my cabinet and outside sources, we have begun taking precautions and making preparations for what could be a catastrophic event.

" All civilians must either evacuate to a safer city to a safer distance or seek shelter in bunkers, follow instructions by the police, government authorities and military personnel who are now moving into the areas that could be decimated again by the ghost's rampage.

"Those who are still in the area when Ghost Godzilla comes must take cover or hide. I repeat, this is not a drill. Follow evacuation instructions, I repeat, follow all safety and evacuation protocol instructions. That is all."

For the rest of the afternoon, civilians began to pack their bags and evacuate Tokyo, military troops rolled in with trucks, ready to help move citizens to a safer location.

All the while, hardly-panicking Japanese people and foreign visitors were vacating the city by automobile or running past a cop who was advising everyone VIA megaphone as he shouted, "LETS GO. MOVE MOVE MOVE!"

The evacuations caused lots of traffic jams and major problems as certain business men were rushing to get off work, all the while, tanks began rolling in, passing by the citizens.

A few evacuees had to turn back and pick up some belongings they left behind before making sure to hitch a ride on nearby trucks. Tokyo was in chaos and things were going to get more chaotic when two dinosaur Kaiju arrived.
