Chapter 9: Movie Star Showdown

Ash has arrived at the Unova Region alone as he is heading towards the Pokestar Studios so as to see if Elline is there acting. There is a secret that only his mother knows, that is the fact that Ash is secretly a movie star as he has filmed in quite a lot of movies. He still remembers the time after he filmed the movie known as the Big Monster which is directed from one of his friends, Luke, a director known as Tom Wood immediately greet him when he was alone, and he asks him to join in the studios. At first Ash is hesitant, as he wants to be a Pokemon Master and he is afraid that filming movies might hinder his goal, but with the help of the Kalos Champion Diantha, who is also the Champion of the Kalos Region, she has Ash own a private helicopter so that he will be able to fly to the filming spot for shooting.

During the times when he is filming, he meets a girl named Elline, Diantha introduces her as her daughter and Tom Wood asks the two of them to act in the same movie known as "Love and Battles". Ash recognizes her as the same girl that he met and the same one that encourages him back then. As they act together, the other people, including Diantha, think that the two of them sure act so well as a couple, and they have been acting together for a lot of times.

"So what is the new project? Mr. Tom?" Ash asks, and Tom gives both him and Elline a script and Tom says, "We are going to have a movie known as 'The Ultra Recon Squad'. It is about warriors coming from the space to the earth as to stop the Ultra Beasts from rampage."

Elline says, "That sounds cool, but what is it about the Ultra Beasts? Have you seen it before?"

Tom sighs and says, "About that, we have the permission from the president of the Aether Foundation to give us the data of the Ultra Beasts, with the visuals and the models, I am pretty sure that we are able to act the movie well."

Ash nods as he has a feeling that Lusamine might know that he is the actor of the movie. Elline asks, "So Ash, what role did you get?"

Ash says, "Well, I got the role as the main character called Phyco. What about you? What role did you get in this movie?"

"I got Zossie. Though I wonder if they are real people in the world." Elline says. "Not only that, I was surprised to see those Ultra Beasts, they look like Pokemon, but somehow they don't look like it."

"They are." Ash says, "I had worked with the Aether Foundation before, so I have experiences with all the Ultra Beasts."

"That's amazing." Elline says with a smile. "By the way, are there any Electric Type Ultra Beast in the files?"

"I know there is one and that is Xurkitree." Ash points at the file and says, "Don't you think that they look just like wires?"

"They sure do." Elline smiles, then they decide to practice their lines, and then how they are going to presentation. After a while, Tom says, "Well, that is it for today, Ash. I want to ask you, when are you able to film the next part?"

Ash sighs and he says, "Well, right now I don't have anything to do, how about you set a time and I will try to come?"

Tom is surprised, since mostly Ash would like to set his time for himself since he is busy with the Gym Challenges. Tom says, "That's great, I think. Well, we will see you soon?"

Ash nods and he is about to leave the studios, and then they hear a voice, "Wait up." He turns around and sees Elline rushing up to him. Ash asks, "Elline? What's the matter?"

Elline says, "Since we just finished filming, how about we go to the MacDonald together?"

Ash is a little blushing and he says, "Well, I would like to do that, but why? Shouldn't you go back to the Kalos Region?"

Elline smiles and says, "Don't worry, I called her earlier and she permits me to stay a little longer, after all, I am not the child star that needs to be protected."

Ash nods as they go to the said place to have burgers to eat. When they are eating, Ash says, "So Elline, what's the reason that you ask me here?"

Elline says, "Well, it is because of a dream that I recently had, I think I want to discuss it with you."

Ash sighs as he finds that Elline is one of the girls that has the potential to become his harem, and the one who might be going to absorb the Infinity Gem. Ash decides to pretend nothing and he says, "Sure, what's wrong?"

"Well, recently, I have been dreaming about you, but not just you, I also saw seventeen girls with you. Since I had watched a lot of films before, I know that it is a concept of a harem, but I always wonder, am I a part of this harem too? Why did I have this dream."

"So you want me to help you with the dream?" Ash asks and she nods. Ash says, "Well, let me ask you a question. If being in a harem is your destiny, will you accept it? Like those superheroes in the movies?"

Elline sighs and says, "I don't know...but speaking of superheroes, I also found something that is similar to one of the movies called the Avengers...I saw one that looks like the Mind Stone that was supposed to be on Vision's head, but it has the Electric Symbol...I touch it in some kind of factory like area, and then I transformed into a Manectric...that was also one of my dreams, but do you think it will be true?"

Ash clears his throat and he says, "Well, let me tell you about everything I know. You see, I have met three people already, and they have the same dreams as you. Though instead of the Electric Symbol, they have Bug, Dark and Dragon."

"So all of it will become true?" Elline asks with surprise. Ash sighs and says, "You see, my mother is the one that gives you the dreams, he knows that a lot of girls like me in a romantic way, so she wants them to be a part of my harem...and for you..."

Ash takes a letter and says, "I don't want to force you to do this, but as you can see, this is the love letter that I wrote for you."

Elline starts to heat up a little as she opens the letter. "Dear Elline, how are you? I know that we met a lot of times since we have been working with the movies together. You know, it is thanks to you and your mother, that I find enjoyment in the acting world. Do you remember the way you cheered me on? At that time I was just an amateur of the acting, and you told me that what matters is my boldness. You know, sometimes people can't leave their cellphones, and I can't leave you as well. My feeling towards you is just like a magnet, you are the positive one and I am the negative one, trying to stick each other. Love Ash."

Elline blushes after reading the letter, and she says, "So I assume that this is not the only love letter that you wrote, right?"

Ash sighs and says, "You caught me, I also wrote 17 more as well..."

"But I really like the way about we being positive and negative electrodes of the magnet. I don't mind if I am in a harem, since it is you that I have feelings for." Elline says as Ash smiles, since he is really afraid to be rejected by Elline.

"Though I was curious, what about the Infinity stones or Infinity Gem things? What are they about?" Elline asks in confusion.

Ash sighs and says, "Well, you see..." Ash takes out the Electric Gem. "Is this the one you saw in your dreams?"

Elline widens her eyes and nod, Ash sighs, "You see, this is the Infinity Gem, and it has the power that is capable of destroying the world. Team Rocket has been trying to get their hands on it in order to do the snap."

"Wait, I thought those plots in the Avengers are not real..." Elline says, "And you mean that Team Rocket is like that Thanos?"

Ash sighs and he nods, "Right now the two of the gems, Bug and Dark Type, have been absorbed into two of my girlfriends, they gain the power to transform into Dark and Bug Type Pokemon."

"What about you? Are you able to transform into other Pokemon as well?" Elline asks, and Ash sighs. "I can. I am an Arceus."

"Wait, I thought that Arceus was just a myth as well...I never seen a real one before..." Elline says while drinking her cola to ease her shock.

"Well, I can't change my form here as well, since it will be a commotion." Ash says while eating the fries that is covered with ketchup.

"Okay...so if I absorb this Electric Gem, that's what you called, then I will be able to transform into a Pokemon as well?" Elline asks as she holds the stone, but nothing happens.

Ash says, "Well, we need to find a place where it is full of Electric Energy to make it happen."

"I see." Elline says, "So that is why there is a factory in my dreams..."

After they finish their meal, Ash decides to ask her if she wants to come with him to the island, and Elline refuses, since she needs to get back home before her mother is getting worried, but she promises that tomorrow she would come to the island along with her mother, and Ash agrees to that.

Back at the Sevestar Island, Ash sees Marnie and Zinnia there, and Ash asks, "Where is Insey?"

Marnie says, "She still has a bakery to run, so she is now back at the Kanto Region."

"Shame, I didn't get to say goodbye to her." Ash frowns a little, and Zinnia asks, "But didn't you say you are going to find another girl? Why didn't I see her around you?"

Ash says, "She has to go back home, she promises to come tomorrow morning along with her mother."

"Wait, her mother is coming?" Marnie says, "Well, we all see how you did to an overprotective brother like mine, I wonder if you are able to persuade an overprotective mother?"

Ash groans a little and he says, "It will be fine, consider that she is also an actress and she might be friendly towards us as well."

Delia comes out and says, "If you want my help, I can help you as well." Ash turns around and sees Delia having a tray of cookies, "I made these for you, why don't you go wash your hands so that you can eat them?"

"Sure, I really like yours and Insey's baking." Ash says as he leaves, Marnie and Zinnia sighs as they also follow him to the kitchen.
