Hi everyone! Sorry I didn't post last week, i was drowning in work and choking in loneliness. BUT i'm back now and i'm back with two new chapters! So here they are, have fun reading and thank you for reading my stories! I have to zaynnn and go choking on maths...
Chapter 9 - The old witch's house
Kol and Finn just parked outside the Mikaelsons' mansion.
« Are you ready brother? », Kol asks Finn, but also asking himself, because if anything they planned is out of place it could all go down.
« I am. Let's go. », answers Finn. And with that, they leave the car and enter their house. Entering it, they see both Klaus and Elijah sitting in the parlour room, reading books. It was Klaus who spotted them first, eager for them to explain.
« Ah, and the psychotic and prodigious sons return home. So, brothers, mind explain where is it that you went? And what exactly are you planning? »
« Well, Finn, it seems that Klaus has been waiting with so much impatience for us to return. Aw, do not fret Klaus, we're back now, no need to pout and throw a tantrum anymore. », Kol says, with a mocking grin on his, enjoying the way Klaus's face twists with anger of not knowing the situation. But before Klaus could fire back, Elijah did instead.
« Kol! Perhaps there's no need to get excited. And brothers, please, Klaus is right, explain. »
« Fine. », Kol pouts, then looks at Finn sending him a nod which the latter takes to go find their mother, acting like usual, not paying attention to the others. « Well, if you're so eager to know, nothing too serious happened. Turns out the little road trip was to fetch her brother, who was compelled by Damon to leave town, at Denver…the annoying human. Then like she said, we ate pancakes. Nothing special bothers. », he explains, following the plan.
Laughing a little, Klaus says « Surely you do not expects us to believe such stupid story Kol? »
« Oh come on brother, lose that glint of paranoia I see in your eyes, we went to fetch the human brother and eat pancakes…oh and pizzas too. »
« Kol! True are not, what about the daggers, why did she take them? And where are they? »
« Oh, those, well they're right here in this bag. Ma- Anastasia just wanted the guarantee that her and her brother would be safe. You know with me being the psychotic Mikaelson. », He explains. That part of the plan is slightly difficult, hopefully they'll buy it, if not. Oh well. Thankfully, before Klaus or Elijah can answer, the front door opens and their sister walks in.
« Well, well, well, there's our girl! », he says quickly changing the subject.
In the woods, Elena was walking in the underground tunnels when a voice startled her.
« Going somewhere? », asked Rebekah with a smug look on her face.
At the boarding house.
« I can't find Elena anywhere. », says Stefan with a sigh when he enters his house. However he's surprised when he sees Elijah and Damon, talking. « Elijah? »
« Ah, yes. », calmly says Elijah.
« He has Elena. », answers Damon to the question in his brothers' eyes when he looks at him.
_ skip till the night_
I'm getting ready for the upcoming um…battle? Situation? Confrontation! That's it! I can already see everybody's faces when they'll see me, in my armour wielding my sword, well crossbow in this case. « Alright, I've got my phone for the GPS, I've got my back pack with my weapons, yep I'm good to go. Be aware OMB! Winteria is coming! » I say to the air…in my coma-room. After saying a goodbye to Jeremy, I leave towards the woods.
Well the part where Kol is daggered, is past long already, it didn't happen, since part of the plan was for none of the Sons boys or men, to go to the grill. However, Kol thought it would have been suspicious if Klaus and he didn't go to the grill. So they went, but he stopped Klaus from following Caroline, instead finding an excuse to pick Klaus' interest about the daggers, like a dagger mixed with some herb can put an original into a big ass pain. How do I know all of that, Kol texted me.
Anyways, I've arrived at my destination, the old witch house. And apparently the Salvatore brothers are here already. 'Onwards soldier!' I cheer to myself.
Kol and his brothers just arrived in the woods, where their supposed beloved mother and his clingy son are, doing a ritual to kill them all.
« They're coming, Mother! », falsely cries out Finn.
« No, it's too soon, the moon is not high enough. Quickly! », yells Esther.
« My sons, come forward. »
« Stay beside me, mother. », says Finn, perfectly playing his part.
« It's okay. They can't enter. »
When Kol goes near the pentagram the torches around it flare up bright. « That's lovely. We're stuck out here, while the favourite son plays sacrificial lamb. How pathetic you are, Finn. »
« Be quiet, Kol. Your brother knows virtue you cannot even imagine. »
« Whatever you think of us, killing your own children will be an atrocity. », says Elijah, hoping to appease the situation.
« My only regret is that I did not let you die a thousand years ago. »
« Enough. All this talk is boring me. End this now, Mother, or I'll send you back to Hell. », demands Klaus, sick of what is happening. He might not say it aloud but, deep down he's scared for him and his family. 'And Finn, betraying us like this. How dare!'
Esther not phase one bit says, « For a thousand years, I've been forced to watch you. Felt the pain of every victim, suffered while you shed blood. Even you, Elijah, with your claim to nobility, you're no better. All of you. You're a curse on this Earth. Stretched out over generations. If you've come to plead for your life, I'm sorry, you've wasted your time. »
I enter the old witch house making myself as silent as possible. I'm pretty sure they can't hear me, you know too focused in the ''I have to do this to save Elena'' situation. I can see the Salvatores and the Bennett witches.
« What are you gonna do? Even if you kill us, Esther is channeling every witch in our ancestry, living and dead. », explains Bonnie trying to be brave, well it's not working, even I can hear how scared she is.
« Esther's drawing from the witches. The only way to cut her off is if one of you is no longer a witch. » Stefan says back, hypocrite, I swear I don't why people can't see past the ''I'm Stefan Salvatore.'' shit. Anyhow, right when he finishes his phrase, I get out of my hiding place, my crossbow pointing towards Abby Bennett, well precisely towards her belly, not waiting another second, I fire. The arrow landing right where I wanted, it got to hurt like a bitch but…it's necessary.
Well, now for sure, I have everybody's attention considering the gasps I hear. Before they can talk, I fire another arrow into Bonnie's stomach. When it's done, I lower my weapon…uh I have to find a name for her, because yes, it's a HER.
« Ana? », asks Bonnie, gasping and bending forward, probably because of the pain.
« Ana? What- what are you doing here? And why did you do that? » Aww, poor Stefan bewildered not understanding the situation.
Smirking I say, « Sorry brothers, I can't exactly let you have all the fun to yourselves right? »
Outside , near the old witch house, Esther was in the middle of her speech when she sensed the power of the ancestors leaving her. « No! Sisters! Do not abandon me. »
Kol and Finn smirk, knowing that this part of the plan is done, thanks to Anastasia, or as Kol likes to call her, Maze.
Turning to Esther, Finn wraps one hand around his neck while he plunges the other into her chest, grasping her heart, « Mother. For centuries, I've listened to you calling us abominations, saying you love us. Saying what a mistake we are and as a fool I believed you, I betrayed my brothers and sister, I dismissed them like they were nothing. », he pauses. « F-Finn… », Esther trails out with difficulties. « But most of all I failed at protecting them, at being their big brother. But you know what, today it ends. You Esther Mikaelson does not deserve to be our mother. », and with that he rips out her heart and she falls to the ground, dead.
Kol and the others, watch the interaction with surprise. Well Kol is smirking, Klaus is surprised but still angry and hurt at the betrayal, while Elijah is just stunned.
Clapping his hands Kol exclaims « Well brother, that was quite a show, wasn't it? A little dramatic over the edge but, I guess you needed to make a point. »
Klaus, not understanding what is happening screeches, « What is the meaning of this? Was that your plan all along? If you think we're going to forget your betrayal just because you killed our mother, surely you're mistaken us for some petty humans. »
« Brother I-I do not have any hidden motives behind my actions, if not having you to forgive me. », explains Finn, pained.
Klaus having enough of this, vamp speeds towards Finn, holding him by the neck, his hybrid face showing.
« Brothers, if you want some explanation upon this um…upon what happened, I suggest you all follow me back to the house. », intervenes Kol.
« If you think I will let this backstabbing excuse of a brother back in our home Kol then you must-. », starts Klaus but he's cut off by Kol. « When I say that if you want some explanation, we must go home, I mean it. All of us, if you must know Anastasia will explain everything Elijah. » He then looks at Elijah, who has been silent, thinking about what to do. As if passing a message, Elijah speaks glancing at Niklaus, « Niklaus! Let our brother be, we will discuss upon this at home where we will all be, even our sister…She deserves to know. »
Klaus looks torn between killing his brother right now and listening to Elijah. Although the desire to punish Finn is strong, he decides against it. « Let's go. And you'd better not try anything…brother. » he spits, glaring at Finn.
Since they're leaving, he sends a quick text to Maze, signalling her that they're going to the mansion and the ''OMB'' like she loves to say, is dead.
Well and I thought they would be grateful…but no. Damon slammed me to the wall like the gentleman he is.
« What are you doing here? », he spits out.
«Uh…right now? Oh I don't know, perhaps I'm making a pizza or I'm being held by a certain Salvatore to the the wall»
« Don't try to play with me Anastasia. What are you doing here? »
Not looking at him, but looking at Stefan, I say with a smirk « You might want to give them your blood before they bleed out St Stefan. » Then looking back at Damon since the grip he has on me tightens, 'surely he missed having my attention on him.', full of sarcasm I am. « Ohh Damon, what's wrong? Come on don't be mad, I saved you from getting your hands dirty and then having Elena mad at one of them. You can't accept that uh, can you? », I taunt. « I didn't come here for any of you not even for your benefit, but oh well it doesn't matter. Elena is safe, I need to go home. »
Before he can answer however Stefan speaks up « Damon let her. It's done, by now Esther is no more channeling the ancestors and our deal with Elijah is done. ».
Then he continues « Damon! Release her. »
Thankfully he does. « Okay since I'm done here I'll leave you to-. », I start only to get cut off by Bonnie. 'Uhh what is it with this coma and everybody cutting me off. No respect for the girl from the future. Isn't it my coma?.'
« Bu-but how did you know what was going to happen? » she asks now.
« Like anyone would know? You're not so subtle as you think you are. Okay now bye, I'm leaving you to it. » With that I leave before they stop me.
Damon is still stunned, not knowing what to make of the situation. Well it's Elena's little sister.
Stefan thinks the same, but decides to question it, it's true she has been acting weird lately.
I just arrived at the mansion. Kol hasn't stopped texting!
Geez what's wrong? 'Such a cutely impatient childish vampire!' Anyways, entering the mansion, I make my way to the parlour, directly seeing the Sons family, minus the parents of course, but guess who's here too, Jeremy. 'Kol and his buddies? Whoa' « Honeys I'm home! Uhh you will not believe the day I had. It was so exhausting ! », I pause, having their attention on me, I put my crossbow and bag on the table, then put my hand on my hip while looking around, « Where's William the butler? I need him to fetch me a glass of the finest wine to help calm my nerves. Those girls at my work do not know anything but criticising people. » I say going to sit down putting my left leg on my right one.
I can see Kol, Finn and Jeremy struggling not to laugh, while the others are more um…flabbergasted!
« Finland! I can see the wrath of the others hasn't fallen upon you yet! »
« Ahh, sparky Maze, and here I was starting to miss you…as much as I miss our mother. » He responds and immediately Kol and my coma-bro laugh out loud, well I would too but I'm pouting right now. 'No respect here either.'
« Did-did I just witness Finn make a comeback and be sarcastic? Let alone laugh? Elijah I think our brother Finn swapped bodies with someone.»,says Rebekah flabbergasted.
« You and I both sister. You and I both. »
