Cui-ick work

All of Gohan, Krillin, Yamcha and Mr Popo were standing still. They could sense the enormous energy of Vegeta some distance from them.

Krillin looked at the spaceship from the corner of his eye. "I think we better hide that spaceship."

Gohan, Yamcha and Popo agreed.

Near to them was a huge cliff with several crevices forming passages within its substance. It had made for a natural maze.

The four of them grabbed a foot each of the spaceship and lifted it. They then slowly walked towards the cliff and placed it inside one of the bigger crevices.

Yamcha looked at Krillin. "So, what do you say?"

Krillin looked seriously. "Yeah. Let's go get Yajirobe."

Gohan nodded, gulping. His previous encounter with the Saiyan prince was still fresh in his mind. And despite all of his progress, he still didn't think he could stand up to him. Strangely, he could also sense that Vegeta had increased in power.

The boy could suddenly feel a hand on his shoulder. He looked up. It was Yamcha.

"Gohan. You and Mr Popo stay here and look after the ship."

Gohan looked at the scar-faced man questioningly.

"We are not going there to fight, okay? Me and Krillin will just wait for an oppurtunity and sneak away with Yajirobe when we get one."

Krillin nodded seriously. "If in case things go wrong you will be near enough to sense it."

Gohan nodded. He understood that his friends' plan was the best course of action. Gohan still was not entirely confident about his ability to suppress his power-level down to almost zero.

Krillin and Yamcha looked at Gohan and Mr Popo with a smile. "God willing, we will be back."

With that they both scurried away on foot towards where they sensed Vegeta.

Mr Popo looked expressionlessly as the both of them got away.

Gohan looked on with concern.

Suddenly, Mr Popo gasped.

"What is it, Mr Popo?" Gohan asked.

"I almost forgot about Wami's message. I have to give it to Guru and get the fuel for our spaceship."

"Oh," said Gohan. "I think you better hurry. Because Krillin and Yamcha may get back any minute and then we will want to leave as quickly as possible without being discovered."

Mr Popo nodded. The boy was saying the truth. He immediately hopped into the air to land on top of the cliff. The turbanned man then began to run towards the edge of the cliff and hopped away. He continued to hop and soon disappeared.

...

Mr Popo was looking ahead of him. 'As if I need to hide my energy from anyone.' With that thought he ignited his aura and flew at full speed. He still remembered the way to Guru's place.

Gohan was alone with the spaceship now. He just hoped that they would be able to get off this planet with Yajirobe as soon as possible.

Vegeta and Yajirobe stood on the blue grass of Planet Namek.

Yajirobe was looking around at the new place. Suddenly he could see something shining just over a rock. "Huh?"

Vegeta too looked in that direction. "What is it?"

"Just an illusion," said Yajirobe. "All of this time without proper food is making me see things."

Vegeta scoffed. "You will have to make do with what you get. I am the prince of all Saiyans and I still have to make do with some nutrient powders. What do you expect for yourself?" It was true that on most Frieza planets there were no food-stalls or restuarants. Nutrient powders and a weird vegetable were the only things available for most of the soldiers except some of the beloved elites of the PTO.

Yajirobe was still looking at the rock from the corner of his eye. He could swear that he had seen the shiny head of Krillin. Krillin? But how could it be even possible? Maybe he was beginning to see things.

...

Krillin and Yamcha sat crouched behind a rock.

Krillin was sweating. 'Stop looking here.'

...

Vegeta appeared serious. It was time to make his move. Who should be the first person he should contact? His scouter could detect that Frieza was here alright..along with Zarbon, Dodoria and the other fodder.

BEEP! BEEP!

Vegeta eyed his scouter. 'A power-level of 17,000.' It could only be one person. A smirk formed on the features of Vegeta. Oh this would be so entertaining.

Yajirobe looked worried. Was somebody coming? It couldn't be Krillin. He hoped that it wouldn't be. Krillin didn't stand a ghost of a chance against Vegeta!

...

Krillin and Yamcha tensed.

"Somebody is coming," said Yamcha in a quiet voice. "And he appears to be strong."

...

Vegeta continued to look in the sky from where he expected the newcomer to come.

Soon, an armored purple-skinned alien appeared in front of him. He dashed and attacked Vegeta with a punch but the prince had jumped up and landed behind him.

"Hello, Vegeta," he said, turning his head to look behind him at the prince.

Vegeta smirked. "Well, hello Cui."

Cui smiled, now standing fully facing his opponent. "There is still time. Surrender now, Vegeta."

Vegeta spat to his side. "I am through taking orders."

Cui raised an eyebrow. "You plan to rebel against Lord Frieza? It will be the death of you."

"Well maybe," said Vegeta. "But NOT today!"

Cui laughed out loud. "I have waited so many years for this...to finally wipe that smug look of your face. I can't believe my luck."

Vegeta snickered. Cui was up for a surprise. The prince used his index finger to taunt Cui into coming near.

Cui immediately charged both his hands with energy and threw a ki beam at Vegeta.

Vegeta easily jumped above the attack. Cui then dashed towards Vegeta at his top speed.

However, Cui's punch was easily dodged. Vegeta was grinning inwardly. The prince pulled back his fist and implanted it into Cui's abdomen. He could feel the armor give way as his fist made contact with flesh.

Cui bent forward. Vegeta then raised his interwined fists and hammered Cui down to the ground.

The purple alien crashed helplessly. He slowly got to his feet, his legs shaking.

Vegeta chuckled. "If only you would have a look at your scouter, you would know what you are up against."

Yajirobe was looking at the battle in awe. Whoever this Cui guy was, he was way out of his league.

...

Krillin and Yamcha had their teeth gritted as they watched the battle from behind the rock. Vegeta had gotten so much stronger!

Frieza sat in his hoverchair. Zarbon and Dodoria stood next to him.

In front of them were a group of Namekian elders.

"Now," Frieza said. "I am getting tired of repeating myself. Where is the Ragon mine located?"

One of the old Namekians looked blankly at Frieza. "What are you talking about? ...Bagon? We grow Bagon in our farms. How could you find it in a mine?"

Frieza smiled. "Dodoria."

The fat pink monster called Dodoria nodded.

SPLACK!

The old Namekian gasped with pain as Dodoria's head collided with his. He fell on his back. His forehead was bleeding.

Soon, they could hear some yells. Immediately a group of young Nameks had landed.

"You," one of them said. "You are going to be beaten into a Bagon pulp. You hear me?"

Dodoria raised his eyebrows.

The young Namekian clenched his fist. "I will beat your whole body into purple and blue like those purple lips of yours."

Dodoria laughed out loud. "Hahaha! I would like you to try."

The young Nameks growled and charged Dodoria at the same time.

BAM!

THACK!

SMACK!

A minute later, all the young Nameks had been killed.

Dodoria, wiped some blood from the corner of his mouth. "My lips are not purple by the way. I colour them to improve my looks."

The elders who were still standing were horrified. What kind of monsters they were dealing with here?

Frieza grinned. "Maybe killing the children will make them talk."

Zarbon smirked. "I agree."

Dodoria crackled his fists. "So here goes."

"Stop!" an elder Namek yelled. He pointed to a mountain range some distance from them. "There. You can search for the Ragon mine there...now leave us alone."

The Namek next to him did not look pleased. "Why would you tell him?"

"We have no choice."

Frieza brightened up. "Oh thank you so much."

The old Namek was shaking with anger. "You are not welcome."

Frieza pouted. "Oh. How rude. But could one of you please accompany us to help find the exact location?"

The old Namek nodded, knowing he had no other option. He looked towards a middle-aged Namek among them. "Duffa, go help them."

The Namekian called Duffa stepped forward. "Follow me," he said before jumping up into the air.

Frieza addressed his soldiers. "All of you go accompany him while I relax at my ship." Frieza then closed his eyes and chuckled. "Legendary warriors...really? I have encountered no one but worms on this planet so far."

Zarbon smirked. "The rumours turned out to be just rumours after-all."

Duffa was still floating in the air as he waited for their conversation to get over. "Are you guys gonna come or what?"

Dodoria looked nastily at the middle-aged Namekian.

Frieza too looked up. "All of you go with this green gentleman. Report to the ship after you find my Ragon mine," he ordered.

"Yes, Lord Frieza," the soldiers said in unison.

Cui was trembling with fear when he read Vegeta's power-level on his scouter. "No, it can't be you. It's someone else!"

Vegeta was laughing quietly, enjoying the look on Cui's face. "It's yours truly, Cui.. what's the matter? You seem in disbelief."

Cui turned his back and made a run for it.

Vegeta furrowed his brows. A coward like him wasn't even worth buying. He raised his arm and fired a blue ki blast at the running away alien.

DISHOO!

A cloud of smoke was thrown up. When it cleared, Cui's body lay on the ground, lifeless.

Vegeta chuckled. "So long, Cui."

...

Yamcha looked amazed. "A single attack.."

Krillin's jaw was hung open. "...was all it took.." he nervously said, completing the sentence.

...

Yajirobe looked in awe as he watched the scene.

As Frieza flew towards his spaceship in the hovercar, he could detect Cui's power-level vanish on his scouter. "Foolish monkey. He actually believes he can get away from this.."

Vegeta pressed a button on his scouter. Now it was time to get his real plan into action.

Both Zarbon and Dodoria were supervising the digging work when both of them received a message on their scouters at the same time.

The two right hand men of Frieza read the message. They looked at each other.

Zarbon looked at Dodoria. "How come Vegeta has got so much money that he now plans to use us against Lord Frieza?"

Dodoria scratched his head. "I don't know. Let's go find out."

Krillin and Yamcha were still hiding behind the rock.

Krillin looked frustrated. "Oh come on, Vegeta. Go and relieve yourself or whatever."

"He won't leave Yajirobe alone for a second," complained Yamcha.

...

Vegeta and Yajirobe stood.

The prince smiled as he read Zarbon and Dodoria's reply on the scouter. "They are coming."

Yajirobe blinked. "Who is coming?"

Vegeta did not answer, too busy in his thoughts. The prince was smirking. His plan had been laid out. And even if Zarbon and Dodoria attempted foul play, he was confident that with his new-found strength he could crush the both of them.

Goku and Tien sat on the dining table, having lunch.

Tien looked at his former rival. "What have you named the baby boy, Goku?"

Goku was chewing his food as he spoke. "I wanted to name him Goku Junior but Chichi insisted otherwise. Finally we decided upon Goten."

Tien smiled. "Goten..what does it mean?"

"I don't know," Goku replied in a muffled voice.

'Figures,' thought Tien. Knowing the meaning of his son's name was probably expecting too much from Goku.

Tien by now had finished his lunch. "Hurry up, Goku," he said. "We have to go visit Korin and Wami, remember?"

Goku nodded between mouthfuls.

Krillin and Yamcha sat waiting behind the rock. If only Yajirobe would walk some distance in their direction.

Suddenly, they could sense two powerlevels coming. And..these were much higher than the earlier one.

Just how many monstrous power-levels were residing on this planet?!

...

Vegeta smiled as, soon, a pair of fighters landed in front of him.

To be continued...

Author's note: Namek saga is going to be a long one.

Also, now, with every chapter I would like to bring to your service, brothers and sisters, a very important and very benefitting piece of information (This would be very short and would be at the end of every chapter.) If you take it seriously, it might change your life, for the better.

90 chapters - 30 sins - 30 good deeds - and 30 good habits: (not sure I will be able to complete 90 chapters, really)

Sin no.1: Ascribing partners to God

God says:

"Blessed is He (The one true God) who sent down the criterion upon His Servant that he maybe to the worlds a warner-

He to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and who has not taken a son and has not had a partner in dominion and has created each thing and determined it with [precise] determination.

But they have taken besides Him gods which create nothing, while they are created, and possess not for themselves any harm or benefit and possess not [power to cause] death or life or resurrection."

Indeed God Almighty has spoken the truth.
