Naruto Of The Uchiha

Calm Before The Storm

Naruto stood in the center of the carnage he just caused. Not a single enemy remained. The once impending doom that 2nd Company faced now averted at the arrival of their Commander. Thanks to his timely return, they lived and won. It became clear to everyone, so long as he was on their side, victory was practically assured, no matter the enemy force. No one could match their leader.

Who could? No one even came close to touching him just then. The amount of devastation he'd caused in such a short amount of time was inhuman. No single shinobi should be able to cause such a massacre of an enemy force...just who was their Commander under that mask?

"They were right...the outcome of the war is solely based on Naruto." thought Kakashi as he looked onto Naruto amongst the dead bodies that riddled the field.

With power unmatched, Naruto could decimate anything thrown his way. Still technically holding back, he was a force to be reckoned with and he continued to show it. At this point, who could stand against him in a fight? The Company definitely didn't know who could.

Naruto though, knew that the real test would come against the Jinchuriki of the enemy forces. At somepoint they'd come into play, it was only a matter of time.

They all gathered around him, cheering to his arrival and saving of them. Naruto merely looked at all of them and nodded to them before leading them to camp.

"Commander! It's great to have you back!"

"Yes! You've saved us!"

"With you leading the way, no one can beat us!"

Naruto smiled slightly at what they had to say. But would they still think this way if they knew who he was? Now wasn't the time to think such thoughts as he entered his tent. As he sat down, the Sage Chakra ran out and his body instantly got fatigued.

"So this is what they talked about when it came down...good thing I didn't suffer any injuries then."

He laid down and went to sleep as his body was exhausted. His body wasn't entirely accustomed to Sage Mode yet and it took a lot out of him. The thought as he drifted to sleep of whether he could enter Sage Mode through his clones came to mind and it was something he'd need to look into.

It was obvious that Shadow Clones where never used in learning Sage Mode, so them being used to enter it as well would obviously be an unknown. This new power that granted practically infinite chakra and an insane boost to his physical stats as well as sensing ability for a small time made him seem unbeatable.

"Naruto. Naruto. Wake up Naruto."

Naruto opened his eyes to turn over and noticed something off. It was dark and he was at his house it seemed like.

"I needed you Naruto. I needed you and you weren't there!"

Naruto turned to see a blooded and half decomompsed Sasuki charging at him. His eyes widened and he shouted. At the same time he jolted up and looked around to see everything was different. He was sweating and felt a hand touch his shoulder making him turn.

"Relax Naruto. What's wrong?"

"Oh, it's you Kakashi...Sorry, it was nothing. Something wrong?"

"No. But dinner has been prepared, I'm sure the Company would like to see their leader amongst them. You did just save everyone today."

Naruto nodded and slowly got up. His body was sore but he was more-or-less ok. Throwing on his hoodie and taping the usual places to keep the sleeve from falling too low, he left the tent with his mask on.

Once he arrived to the fire everyone cheered to his arrival as he sat amongst the Company. Everyone of similar clans seemed to be grouped together and had their own atmospheres as he looked around. There were only two of the prominent clans there like Inuzuka, Aburame. Most of them weren't from a powerful clan.

"So, Commander, when will we get to know who you are?" an Inuzuka member named Kai said. He had long hair that reached his shoulders and it was slicked back.

"Does it really matter?" A shrug came from the Inuzuka and said member returned to eating.

If they paid more attention, they'd see within the dark of his mask, the Sharingan that always remained active. With that, they'd be able to figure out who he was and since the only other Uchiha known to them was a female, his identity as Naruto the Jinchuriki to the Kyubi would be obvious.

It's not like he hid his Sharingan at all, it just wasn't noticed? Who knows. He wouldn't end their ignorance if he didn't have to. Eventually they'd figure it out...right? Whenever that may be, hopefully they stay on his side.

"I do find it odd that no one knows the Commander's identity. It's obvious that he's ANBU and pretty damn young. Other than that, what do we really know?"

"You know? You've got a point. We know nothing of our very powerful Commander." A woman said crawling towards Naruto on her hands and knees making him raise an eyebrow.

Hinto was holding back the laughter and was enjoying the sight. This had potential to get entertaining. His young friend would definitely not react how they'd hope and it would be fun to watch.

"So Commander...what are you like under all this that hides you?" She said grabbing onto his hoodie and giving it a slight tug.

"What are you doing?" Naruto grabbed her wrist gently and pulled her off his hoodie.

"What? I'd like to know...well see more of this ever powerful leader we have...I'm sure some of the other ladies here would too." She said with a giggle and gesturing to some of the other girls.

"It would be unwise to continue any further...we are in an active combat zone..."

"So you wouldn't mind if we were somewhere else? Arrangements could be made..." She smiled and reached over to him again.

"I never said that. About who I am...sometimes you just need to open your eyes and think about what you know." Naruto stood up and began to walk away.

"Ah, don't feel bad, lady. Captain Fox isn't one to mess around. You would never garner his attention that way...or any way really."

"What does that mean, Lieutenant Hawk?"

"He's got one he loves. You'd never hope to gain that. He's got absolutely no interest in others. You think you're the first to try seducing the young Captain?" Hinto chuckled as he stood up "Don't feel offended by that, just know he is quite different." Hinto then walked off after his friend.

Iwagakure War Room

"What do you mean, they failed!"

"Mizukage-sama...they were winning the battle...then that Fox ANBU came in and decimated our forces."

"Yagura...this ANBU is causing us problems. We haven't been to active on the other fronts as this one is central but it doesn't look like we'll be pushing through at this rate. We've sent more this time and it still wasn't enough."

"What do you propose, Onoki?"

"Maybe we send in a Jinchuriki...A, what do you think? Maybe it's time for you to join in this war?"

A smiled and chuckled. "It looks like I'll be needed quite early. The Jinchuriki weren't planned on being used until we've gotten into Fire Country...using them now to push into the country would reveal their our aces. You think it wise?"

"I'm surprised your hesitant. I've hear a lot of the great Raikage A, you were known as a guy who loved a good fight and to show off your strength and took bold actions...this is an unseen side of you."

"Brat, I don't always act with a fist! Against Konoha, force has not won as a thing! Always have they managed to come out on top! Always have some sort of once in a generational type shinobi on their side. The Yellow Flash being the most recent...decemating 1000 of Iwa's forces, winning Konoha the last war. This ANBU seems to have that same level of strength...numbers won't win us that front obviously...but if we reveal our strongest weapons, who's to say he doesn't do to them what he did to the 4 tails?" Said A as he looked at them for an answer.

"We've removed that seal."

"Took you guys long enough! If he can put our strongest weapons out of commission for this long, is it worth the risk?"

"It's the only way...we haven't pushed through, you said yourself, numbers isn't the answer." Onoki said as he looked to the map. Looking for some sort of advantage.

"We've got in total 5 tailed beasts, if we include me. Maybe we should send two, use the 5 and 2 tails to break through. Konoha has only one. Suna won't be involved until Kumo joins in officially, we can surprise them and they won't have the aid of Suna's Jinchuriki. It's our best chance." said Yagura.

"Didn't you fight that ANBU? You said he was the 9 tails. Possessing the Hiraishin, Sharingan...just who the hell is this bastard! On top of that, you expect them to beat him? He beat the 4 tails and you." said A

"That's why we send 5 tails and 2 tails. The blue flames that can hone in on a target, and burn hotter than any other flame aside from those black flames of Itachi Uchiha. Her agility and will also be a nuisance to him. With the 5 tails, the boil release granted by it is something that can be used to overpower the ANBU by the fact that Han could bring his chakra to the boiling point. Besides the boil release can pose a threat to him. I don't think he could take on two Jinchuriki at once and these two would be a huge challenge to overcome since they'd compliment one another. I believe he'd probably best any Jinchuriki in a one on one engagement."

"Yagura, he wouldn't ever beat my brother!"

"I'm not too sure...in a head on fight, your brother is powerful, but I don't see him having an answer to the techniques that the ANBU uses."

"Whatever. If this is our plan of action, I'll allow it. I'll have Yugito ready in the next week. What do you say, Onoki?"

"I'm in. The two of them will put an end to that bastard of an ANBU! We'll send a large force, no backup will be coming to him and he will be all alone to be taken out by the two." Onoki began chuckling and they all smiled at the prospect of finally breaking through and making Konoha know that their strength is gone.

Konoha

"Sasuki, how's it going?"

"Oh, Sakura. What are you doing out this early? Figured you'd still be asleep."

"Yeah, I want to be better...you and Kiba were right...will you help me?"

"Sure." Sasuki began walking away from Sakura before turning back to her. "You coming or what?"

Sakura nodded rapidly before running over Sasuki who began walking away again. A smile wide on her face as she walked beside Sasuki. This would be her turning point as a shinobi, she just knew it.

They went to their team training ground and Sakura immediately regretted her choice of training with Sasuki. It was hell for her as she was running so much. No way Sasuki ran this much all the time...could she?

"Is this all I'm going to be doing? When will I be fighting, or doing Jutsu?"

"Sakura...your foundation is lousy. Hell it's nonexistent. You won't do much at this rate. We need to build you from the ground, up, literally. Your stamina needs the most work as you're too easily tired and well, you're slower than a snail..."

"Damn, didn't hold back at all did you?" Sasuki just smirked before making her run more.

"I wonder if you'll stick through this and continue training or just quit after today...only time will tell."

Hokage Office

"Commander, what brings you here today?"

"Hokage-sama, I've gotten a proposal from Naruto." Hiruzen nodded and gestured for him to continue. "He'd like to begin an offensive with his Company. Believing that remaining reactionary will lead to an eventual defeat."

Hiruzen closed his eyes and slowly nodded as he thought about it. It was true, to remain on the defensive would lead to a loss eventually based on the fact that every assault, they suffered some sort of loss. Numerically it would lead to them running out of shinobi before the enemy. Still, a failed attack on their part can lead to the decimation of an entire company...it was a risk but it would be necessary. They'd be led by Naruto who's proven to be a force to be reckoned with and he only requested his own Company. It would work...

"Alright. In two weeks, he'll lead his Company on a campaign through Earth Country. We've received intel that Iwa has become the Base of Operations for their alliance since it's difficult to constantly be traveling between Earth and Water Country."

"Very well, Hokage-sama. Will the ANBU be active then?"

"Yes. It is time."

"I'll be taking to the battlefield as well. I believe that Naruto will need my help until he can be at full strength."

"Ok. As you wish. Just know, your secret may come out much easier then."

"I know, Hokage-sama...it was bound to come eventually. That day in the hospital really risked things. I'm sure he's began piecing it all together..."

Hiruzen nodded and wished Wolf well as he left the office. All Hiruzen could do was take out his pipe and begin to smoke. 2nd Company under Naruto's leadership was about to become famous...or slaughtered. Either way, things really did hinge on Naruto for the war. He still really wished that it hadn't come to this, nor that Naruto had to lead this war. Then again, no one can ever really know what will happen or get all that they wish. It was quite the wonder how he himself is still alive. Shinobi don't normally live long and here he was 68 years old and would most likely die due to time...an unfitting end for a warrior hailed as a God Of Shinobi at one time.

All his knowledge, wisdom, every Jutsu known to Konoha...and yet he'd die not in a glorious battle befitting a ninja of his caliber but to time...A sad reality. Then again, even in his age, there was no one he couldn't beat...in a year or two, that won't be the case. Time catches up to everyone. Even Hiruzen wasn't immune to it.

Still, it would have been nice to go down in an epic fight. A blaze of glory, a final send off to his legacy as The Professor, The God Of Shinobi, The Sandaime Hokage.

Somewhere Underneath Konoha

"So, what brings you here..."

"What, no welcome for me, Danzo? After all I've done for you, you aren't glad to see me?"

"What do you want?"

"There is a certain thing you know I've wanted for a long time..."

"Yes. And you failed with Itachi. Remember that?"

"I do." The figure scowled at the memory. "Damned brat destroyed me without even a glance! But I know someone else to target."

"You're going to go after the Jinchuriki?"

"Oh no. I've learned my lesson from Itachi...plus...what better revenge than to take his sister's eyes and body for myself."

"That's crazy...even for you, Orochimaru. You know they'll both hunt you down..."

"Yes...but I'll possess the Sharingan and be truly unbeatable...the perfect Shinobi. I won't possess her body though, I have other plans for that."

"Very well...have you decided yet?"

"Yes. I'll join you. This war is helping yours and my plans...patience is important though Danzo. Don't jump into anything just yet, it isn't the time."

"I should say that to you."

A chuckle came from Orochimaru as he sunk into the ground and disappeared. Danzo was left alone in the dark room and sighed. Atleast he knew he'd have Orochimaru as an ally during his plans. After this war was over, it would be time to finally overthrow Hiruzen. He wouldn't let Konoha lose but he wasn't going to let the major pieces remain. A message to the Iwa alliance would need to be sent regarding a certain Konoha shinobi.

Training Ground 7

"Gonna get up anytime soon?"

"I *pant* will get *pant* up soon..." Said Sakura as she lay flat on her back with her arms extended out. She'd been running for hours and Sasuki had not let up one bit. After the first hour, she thought they'd be done...how wrong she was.

"God you're out of shape...I'm done. If you're going to just give up because you're tired then there's no point. Hopefully you can get yourself into shape." Sasuki turned away and walked off until she heard Sakura running at her.

With a side step to the right, Sakura and her fist flew past her. Sakura tried to do a spinning kick from her position but due to never doing the move, she wasn't flexible enough to get her foot high enough and completely missed. Sasuki just slammed her palm into Sakura's chest and it resulted in her falling to the ground.

"Do you see now, how bad your foundation is? You literally couldn't even kick me...your form even for the Academy style of Taijutsu is sloppy and you couldn't even close the distance quick enough to begin with." Sasuki shook her head. "You've got a lot of work to do. If you're truly serious about this, keep running for another 3 hours. Meet me at my house tomorrow morning 0400. Otherwise, don't bother asking me to train you again."

Sasuki left the worn out Sakura on the ground and shook her head as she walked away. It was no longer worth sticking around any longer. It was annoying to watch the girl this whole time. How could any sensei watch someone so pitiful? It must drive them crazy. But not everyone was like her and even less like Naruto. So perhaps people like Sakura were normal.

Speaking of Naruto, she wondered what he'd been doing out there. Obviously there was fighting going on, but other than that she had no idea how he was. Atleast she had that week with him. Perhaps now was time to follow through on his idea with her Chidori Nagashi.

Before she could do that however, she noticed some ANBU training with shuriken. She watched and noticed it was Naruto's Commander, Wolf. He stood on a stump and was surrounded by targets in the trees and one in a spot that could never be hit by conventional methods. Something about this set up seemed familiar to her and she continued watching. Suddenly he leaped into the air, throwing several kunai into targets before twirling and flipping upside down and throwing more while spinning. Hitting every target dead on at the moment. Finally grabbing three more while still spinning upside down, he threw two into one direction and the other in a different. The one solo hit dead on and the two ricocheted off eachother and hit two different targets dead on. One was in a tree the other bounced off to hit that one single unhittable target...

She gasped as she watched. "No way...only one person I've seen could pull that off...Naru hasn't even been able to yet...Hell! I haven't even! How could he? There's just no way!"

Wolf must have noticed her by now and turned sharply to her direction. She was hidden but knew her cover was blown. What was the best course of action?

"You can come out now. You don't want to force me to come to you...whoever you are..."

Slowly and shakily, Sasuki stepped out into the clearing. "I'm sorry...I was coming to train myself when I noticed you..."

"What did she see?" Wolf thought to himself. Things were just going downhill. Maybe she shouldn't have brought Naruto into the ANBU, this wouldn't be a problem...but he's been one hell of an addition and it's payed off greatly. "It's fine. Why are you training out here?"

"Well...Naru-kun usually trained out here...and well before that, I used to watch someone else train here too...I never thought I'd see someone else pull off what you've done. I expected eventually for Naru and I to do it. Not someone else. Who taught you that?"

"Well atleast she ain't jumping to conclusions...yet." Wolf stepped down from the stump "Well I'm the ANBU Commander and therefore I've seen a lot and trained a lot. You are right though, this technique is really difficult and a rare feat, but not truly impossible."

Sasuki could only nod. It wasn't impossible to learn, it was just really hard. Most cases only an Uchiha could hope to get it down with the help of the Sharingan and tons of training. It wasn't impossible for anyone else, just without the Sharingan made it difficult.

"I'm sorry to interrupt. I'll leave you be." Sasuki then quickly hurried off away. She knew the Commander wouldn't harm her but she wasn't used to being around him alone and felt awkward. It's not like she really knew how she should act.

Wolf sighed as he watched her leave. That was a close one. Why did things have to start falling apart now? Everything was just fine before. Oh well, it was bound to fall apart at somepoint.

"What am I going to do about those two?" Wolf chuckled slightly before he closed his eyes and disappeared in a flock of crows.

Sasuki walked further into the forest and began her own training. Her and 5 Shadow Clones got to work on implementing her Chidori Nagashi into weapons.

One Week Later

Naruto was walking through the Company and was looking at how everyone seemed relaxed again. This was something he began to think about, everytime they relaxed, an attack immediately followed. Was it a real concern, or just a coincidence? Realistically it could make sense if they constantly were watched but his Sharingan never caught anything outnof the norm and no patrol saw anything.

Whatever it was, it was always nice to see them calmed. When everyone was on edge, the atmosphere sucked. But atleast this way, it made him always look forward to when all this was over. Once this war was over, hopefully there wouldn't be another any time soon. It is said that men fight a war so that the future generation wouldn't have to. Sadly this wasn't always the case.

Victory in war brings about complacency and this births a weak generation. Someone, generally the loser will try to take advantage and as such, war starts again. Time of war brings strength as it is required to survive. But the cycle continues. How would one end that? Perhaps if someone had the power to go unchallenged, perhaps that can bring peace truly. An unbeatable opponent to bear it all. This too would only be temporary as eventually everyone dies...no one is a true God.

Maybe become the villain and be the unbeatable, threaten the world and force unity of all forces to defeat you. Again...only temporary...once the unified forces defeat the unbeatable, how long would you expect that to last? There seems to really be no true attainable peace. Peace is something that seemed to forever be temporary. Peace was a goal of all...but no two ideas of peace were the same. One man's peace is different than another's. For one, to be ruler over all may be their form of peace. Another may say that no true power to anyone but just free people. To obtain one's peace, war would always be needed. War is the constant the world, formed from differing ideals, loves, and hatreds.

No one is ever truly right in a war...no one is truly good or evil. It is all a matter of who's side you're on. You always see yourself as "good" the other "bad"...the enemy. But to the "bad" or the enemy, they themselves see themself as "good". A terrorist is seen as an evil person, but that terrorist is acting on what they believe and to them, it is necessary for the greater good. So, with that in mind, how can you ever hope to really achieve the illusion that is peace?

Humanity is destined for war. Peace might only be a dream. A worthy dream but a dream nonetheless. It is a truly unattainable goal but one worth chasing.

Coming to a stop, Naruto watched as Hinto walked to him and the two looked over to the horizon together as the sun came up.

"You know, Fox? Despite the current situation, things really aren't that bad. I mean, look at everyone...look at you. They're seeing your greatness and soon enough, they'll see you."

"Maybe you were right...Having the Kyubi within me doesn't define me...It's a great help but, the Kyubi isn't what gave me my skills."

"Exactly. Fox, I'm not going to deny that it is one of your greatest helps but so long as you remember that it's you that are in control and put all the work to get here. You're widely accepted yet, but I'd bet that once this is all said and done, you'll truly be a legend."

"Not without you, my friend. You'll be there with me by my side as always."

Hinto gave a nod but averted his eyes "Sure will..." Hinto then looked back to Naruto and placed a hand on his shoulder. "I'll be with you till the end..."

BOOM! BOOM!

"THE HELL IS GOING ON?" said Naruto as they both stumbled from the explosions. They shook the entire camp and shouts were heard.

The two ran to where everyone was and saw two large craters, the camp destroyed, and bodies laid out everywhere. There was still a significant amount that were ok but this was devastating. Had the Company not been mostly somewhere else training, then they'd all be slaughtered from those two explosions.

"What caused this?" said Hinto.

"There was two large dark balls of chakra...then they blew up!"

"Jinchuriki? Already? Hawk-"

"I know, the Jinchuriki is yours, we'll handle everything else. It's most likely the 5 tails, since we haven't gotten intel about the 4 tails. Hey, atleast Kumo ain't in this yet."

"You're right about that. I'll see you guys in a bit."

Naruto Shunshined away and looked to find the Jinchuriki that attacked. He came upon the 5 tailed Jinchuriki as expected.

"So the ANBU is just a kid...they never mentioned that." said 5 tailed Jinchuriki

"So, who are you? You know I took on Roshi and how that ended."

"Yes...but we know something about you...how's your health these days?"

"What? Who are you?"

"I'm Han. And yes, we know about your problem. Shame, you won't be strong enough to beat us...And you're not entering Sage Mode!" Han charged Naruto head on and began pushing him back.

"How's he so fast?" Naruto was dodging and it was all he could do. He wasn't fast enough to get on the offensive at the moment. He'd have to hope Han slipped up.

Han tried to swing with all his power and Naruto sidestepped it to the right and brought out a kunai. Just before he could land the stab he got blindsided and got kicked which sent him 15 feet back into a tree which made him cough up blood. He sat with his shoulders slumped and looked up to see Han and someone new there.

"What is this?" Naruto said "Now...who are you?"

He was trying to buy time to enter Sage Mode but it didn't work. The new arrival charged him kicking him again and went straight through the tree. Naruto shakily got up and finally noticed a blond haired woman. Dressed entirely different. She wasn't in Iwa's not Kiri's uniform.

She had a navy blue shirt and black leggings, a red sash tied around her waist and a grey armor vest around her stomach that didn't go over her chest or shoulders. Then he noticed the headband which signified Kumogakure.

"So...Kumo's joined..."

Naruto flicked a kunai at her which traveled faster than she ever saw before and she barely tilted her head to dodge. A flash appeared and Naruto caught the kunai in an icepick grip and slashed backwards to stab into the back of her head. Han stopped that by blocking it with his own kunai and tried to kick Naruto which he just jumped up and kicked both Han and the Kumo nin.

"Yugito, use the flames." said Han

"Got it." Yugito went through a few handsigns and blew out a few fireballs but they were blue which got sent to Naruto who dodged easily enough. This made her smirk.

Naruto stood up straight before noticing the heat of the fire from behind him. He turned back and noticed that the fireballs turned around and came at him again. "The hell?" Naruto jumped over to the side and again it came at him once more. Naruto looked over and noticed that Han wasn't there anymore. Only Yugito was there. His Sharingan picked up movement from his right so he glanced over and had to dodge Han's slash of a kunai.

This brought the blue fireballs time and they blew up in his face sending him flying. Naruto coughed as he got up and opened his eyes to see the two of them standing over him.

"The Nibi Jinchuriki...huh. Just great." Naruto tried to get up but was kicked in the face by Yugito and tumbled into a large rock. He groaned in annoyance and now noticed that she had a sword drawn at his neck.

"Time for the Fox to go to sleep." She whispered and proceeded to stab.

Came out later than I wanted. I'm working on next chapter, up tomorrow. I honestly don't know what that vest thing she wears is called. Like what are you supposed to call something that only covers the stomach and up to the mid back. I don't know. Maybe its obvious and I'm over thinking it. Who knows.

So the ideas for the other two projects...

That one i eluded to, pretty much picks up when Naruto is 3. When Kumo was trying to get the Byakugan through kidnapping Hinata; instead the Jonin notices Naruto and feels something within him and takes him instead.

The other starts from the Kyubi attack where Minato allows Kushina to take the Kyubi with her to death but there is a certain connection between the Kyubi and Naruto from the chakra of the Kyubi changing Naruto from infancy.

So I'm kind of torn between which to go with. That was as basic as a summary I could offer because I feel like I can make it understandable without going too indepth. The first chapters will ofcourse thoroughly display how the changes will make a difference. How should I do this? All three? This project will remain every week. The other two would be bi-weekly since one week it will be project 2 the second week project 3 before going back to 2. If that makes sense.

Or I could go with only one extra project and it would follow more or less the same as this project already and have a weekly upload rate...hopefully...We'll see. Your input will be accepted and I'll take it into consideration, and will help my decision.

Next chapter won't have much of my commentary unless you guys ask or say something that i can respond to. Other than that, have a nice one and the next chapter will be up tomorrow. Let me know your guy's critiques so I can improve for future projects and even in this one.

Such as the pacing that was mentioned. I definitely understand that and will try to work to make it flow better. I sometimes skip through things as in my head I understand how I want something to be portrayed but tend to not translate everything so well. I'm working on that.

As always, hope you enjoyed.
