It was a calm morning in the continent of Northrend. Chieftain Vul'Rak have decided to bring Fukase along to go fishing in a lake nearby the village where the trolls lived. Vul'Rak's son, Vuz'Rak also joined them as well.
"Dere's a large lake nearby our village, mon. We always go dere to catch some fresh fishes" Vul'Rak said.
"Have ya going fishing before?" Vuz'Rak asked.
"Yeah" Fukase nodded.
"Good to hear it" Vuz'Rak smiled.
However, as they continued their walk towards the village, something just blocked their path.
An extremely large polar bear was seen sleeping in the middle of the path.
"Oh no, our path is blocked" Vul'Rak frowned.
"A...giant polar bear?" Fukase's eyes widened in shock.
"Be wary, mon. Never interrupt a polar bear in it's sleep, especially dis one" Vuz'Rak warned.
"Okay" Fukase nodded.
"We have to dink anoder way to go to da lake" Vul'Rak said.
"But how?" Vuz'Rak was clueless.
As they were thinking of how get away from the polar bear, Vuz'Rak spotted a nerubian entered a tunnel not far from their location.
"I got an idea!" Vuz'Rak exclaimed.
"What's it?" Fukase asked.
"What about if we use da tunnel over dere?" Vuz'Rak pointed his index finger towards tunnel.
"But we don't know yet if da tunnel leads to da lake or not" Vul'Rak was uncertain.
"At least we can try" Vuz'Rak replied.
...
"Huaaaaa..."
Kaito yawned as he walked downstairs towards the kitchen. He was still sleepy, yet at the same time he was hungry too.
Knock! Knock! Knock!
Kaito then heard someone knocked the front door. he then walked towards the door.
When he opened the door, he noticed a 15-years old boy with short blonde hair stood in front of him. By looking at his attire, it looks like he's a mage in training.
"Sorry to interrupt, is my uncle inside?" the boy asked.
"Your uncle?" Kaito was curious.
Perhaps the boy was referring to Snorri, Kaito thought.
"Oh, do you mean Snorri?" Kaito guessed.
"No, no, not Mr. Whitespell, i mean Uncle Drake" the boy shooked his head.
This boy is actually Drake's nephew.
"Drake? I think he wa-"
"Hey, who's there?"
Drake soon approached Kaito from behind.
"Oh my holy hammer, you finally come, Numenos" Drake said.
"Hello, uncle" Numenos greeted his uncle.
"Wait a minute, didn't you supposed to go to magic school right now?" Drake asked.
"Today is weekend, uncle" Numenos said.
"Whatever, i think you should go inside before your butt got kicked by an mentally-ill priest" Drake replied.
"Aaaaaaaargh!"
The trio then spotted an elf chased by a dog with a spiked collar.
"Or your leg got bitten a dog" Drake added.
...
"Dwarven mortars!"
Rin, Len, Luka and Lily were awoken out of sudden by the sounds of mortar strikes. The Blackwood Tribe village were currently under the siege by the Lordaeronian soldiers. Some of the huts also were seen on fire.
"What's going on!?" Len asked in panic.
"Da humans are comin!" One of the trolls shouted before got knocket out by a mortar rocket.
"Humans?" Luka and Lily exchanged looks.
"Hey, look there!" Len pointed his index finger towards a certain duo.
It was Louis and Smyrna, striking their mauls against the trolls furiously.
"Take this you bastard!" Smyrna shouted.
Soon, Kral'Uk then exited his hut. His grimful eyes were focused on the young paladins. From his left hand, Kral'Uk conjured a red lightning bolt, trying to struck down Louis.
"Look out!" Smyrna warned.
Louis however managed to avoid Kral'Uk's sudden attack. The bolt was hitting his messenger Zarogg instead, electrocuting him.
"Damn ya for assaulting mah village!" Kral'Uk growled.
"Sorry, bro. But your time is up!" Louis mocked.
"Not yet!" Kral'Uk replied in anger as they finally clashed against each other.
At the same time, Smyrna spotted the vocaloids locked in the cages.
"Captain!"
The captain then rushed quickly towards Smyrna.
"Release them from the cages and take them from here!" Smyrna ordered.
"Yes, miss!" The captain nodded as he then walked towards the cage.
"Please help us!" Lily pleaded.
"Don't worry, i'll help you folks!" the captain assured.
"Waaaaaaargh!"
Luka suddenly noticed an ogre warrior tried to strike the captain from behind.
"Watch out!" Luka warned.
"Oh no!" the captain was unprepared.
Fortunately for the captain, a water elemental pushed the ogre warrior away, saving the captain.
"Sorry, i'm late!"
The captain's eyes widened as he saw Jaina not far from him.
"Lady...Proudmoore?" the captain was shocked. "How did you get in here so fast? It took a day for us to arrive here!"
"I'm a mage, remember?" Jaina smirked.
"Oh, you right..." the captain sighed. Jaina is a mage, she can teleport.
"Let me release them from the cages" Jaina offered as she cast spell to break down the cage door.
Meanwhile, Arthas just released Miku and Piko from their cage. They were so relieved that they finally free.
"Thank you for saving us!" Miku thanked the prince.
"No problem, now let's get out from here" Arthas said.
"Prince Arthas?"
Arthas noticed Smyrna was approaching them.
"What are you doing here?" Smyrna asked in shock.
"Lord Uther told me about your mission, so i think maybe i can lend a hand" Arthas answered "Oh, Lady Jaina is also here too"
Smyrna then turned her face towards the other cages. Jaina has already released the other vocaloids from the cages.
"No wonder" Smyrna said.
...
"This is the first time i saw a real unicorn" Meiko said.
"Yeah, me too" Gakupo nodded.
Meiko and Gakupo silently watched the white unicorn outside of Woodfellow Residence. The unicorn is owned by Avnis Woodfellow, a priestess of Holy Light and also paternal cousin of Thorias and Smyrna.
"Go to Lordearon TOMORROW?" Thorias was shocked.
"Yes, i need someone to accompany me!" Avnis said with puppy eyes.
"What about your friends?" Thorias asked.
"They're too busy right now" Avnis was unhappy.
"Well..." Thorias was speechless.
Smyrna has already departed to Lordaeron. He needs to tell his sister first, and he couldn't leave his house just like that.
"I can't leave our house without telling her first, she'll be mad!" Thorias said.
"No need to worry about that, i'll send a magic letter to her later!" Avnis suggested.
"Are you sure?" Thorias was skeptical.
"Just trust me, Thorias. Smyrna doesn't mind if it was me!" Avnis assured.
Looks like Thorias doesn't have any other choice left. He need to accompany Avnis to Lordearon even if Smyrna doesn't agree.
Thorias then glanced at Meiko and Gakupo. Perhaps he should bring them along too.
To be continued...
