Possible Household
4:31 P.M.

The colorful-yet powerful pink and purple car came to a halting stop in the driveway. Skid marks in all shades of black and grey painted the street, as well as part of the Possible's curbside. Kim threw the driver door open, matching that of Ron on the opposite side.

The duo sped off from the car to the front door in a matter of seconds.

"Do you have your key?" Ron asked in a rushing voice, with nerves filling his entire body.

"No time." The redhead fiercely responded, as soon as she approached the front door with his dead sprint.

Her running ended with the girl bringing her knee completely up to her chest, and forcing her leg forward into the thick door. It flew forward, tearing completely off it's hinges, and startling the aging Possible parents in the living room area.

Mr. Dr. Possible nearly jumped out of his skin, tearing the newspaper in the process. Ann Possible herself jumped in the recliner, smearing the paint that was supposed to be applied on her fingernails.

Their startled gazes immediately went to the front door, watching as their daughter and Ron burst inside.

Like any normal parent, watching their child destroy their property was a surefire way to boil your blood.

"Kimberly Ann Possible! What is the matt-

"We need to get you and the Tweebs out of here! Now!" Kim was quick to interrupt her mother, before frantically looking around for any sign of danger.

"What are you talking about? What's happening?" James Possible knew if his very well mannered daughter broke through the front door, she had a damn good reason for it.

As Kim was beginning to babble in a panic of trying to get her loved ones to leave the house, Ron's mind began to race with horrible thoughts as to what the Rogue planned for his future father in-law. He looked over at James, who as well looked genuinely worried, thought probably more for his family than himself.

But as he stared at the Possible parent, he caught a glimpse at the hung living room mirror behind him. He could see the back of Dr. Possible, as well as his own blurry reflection. But another thing he saw, was movement from the house across the street. Retrieving his thoughts, he looked up at the moving article on top of the neighbors room through the window.

On the very top of the figure, we're two red dots, almost glowing like bulbs. Curious, he studied it for a moment. That was, until he saw the sniper rifle being pulled out. Ron quickly gasped, and turned back around to look at James Possible scolding his daughter.

"Get down!" Ron yelled, interrupting their argument and tackling James to the floor. As he did so, a loud bang echoed through the neighborhood, resembling that of the cracking of a whip. Pieces of glass from the window shattered all over the carpet, with a small circular hole remaining in the window.

Kim's eyes widened, as she quickly grabbed her mom's arm and pivoted around the couch, pulling her mother with her.

Another sniper round fired through the opposite window, missing Dr. J. Possible on the floor by only a few inches. Then another, tearing through the curtains.

There was a pause. Silence. No more flying bullets, but only still, terrifying silence.

"Now's the chance!" Kim said, rushing to get back to her feet. She reached in her utility belt, and pulled out three small orbs. As she got to her feet, she reached up and threw the balls on the floor with full force.

Each of the balls exploded into a dark grey smoke, fogging up the window and the entire living room in the process.

"Come on!" She yelled, pulling her mother to her feet, as James and Ron joined them. The smoke would only last about fifteen seconds, no matter how many smoke pellets she dropped. They had to act fast, before the Rogue's field of vision was cleared.
-

"Damn it." The Rogue thought to herself, knowing well that she missed all three shots taken. But what annoyed her most, was how they got away. The use of smoke pellets.

Never once in Kim's file, was there some form of using smoke to escape tight situations. She had studied Kim for months, and never saw any footage or tape of any kind of her escaping like that. And she knew why. Oh she immediately knew.

Not only did Kim escape with the man she was trying to kill, but the smoke didn't just act as a sheet for them to get away. Kim was insulting her. And she knew it for a fact. The last time they had encountered, she herself had used the exact same smoke pellets to escape after her mission had concluded. It was cheesy. Corny, she thought.

But as the smoke settled, her target was gone. As well as Ron and Ann Possible. But, Kim sure wasn't. She stood dead center of the living room, staring. At her. The smoke had completely vanished, and all the Rogue could see was Kim's angry, raging green eyes.

She took her eye from the scope, and stared back with her own two eyes. Their intense stare down lasted only moments, but felt as if they stared into each other's souls for an hour. But then, Kim held her hand up, revealing something she grasped.

A note.

I'm coming for you

The Rogue read the note with ease with her enhanced vision. Underneath her face mask she scowled, and narrowed her eyes. Not long after, Kim too, had vanished.

"Kimmie-Cub, I trust your instincts, as I always have. But I don't think flying me, your mom, and your brothers halfway across the world to a place we've never even heard of is a very smart move." James freely spoke, standing in front of the collapsible staircase with his family.

"Then you know I have a perfectly good reason for this. Trust me, no one will ever find you in Yamanouchi. It's the safest, and smartest place for you to be." Kim replied, holding the umbrella above her head to block the heavy rainfall.

"We understand, Honey. It's just.. it's a hard thingfor us to do. I mean, you're our daughter. And we have to spent an unknown amount of time in a place where we can't check on you, or know if you're okay-

"You don't need to worry about us, Mom. After all, anything is possible.." Kim stopped, waiting for her father to finish her sentence.

"For a Possible." He finally finished, with a weak smile.

Kim smiled, before engulfing herself in her father's embrace. As well as her mother's. Ann ended her hug by kissing Kim on the cheek, and finally releasing her with sunken eyes.

Kim turned her attention to her little brothers, who she only referred to as, "Tweebs" and looked at their exhausted and sad faces.

"Why couldn't we go to a cool place, like Wakanda or something, instead of this lame ninja school." Tim spoke irritably, mostly due to the random panic and fact that he and Jim were torn from their video game to evacuate the house.

"Firstly, because Wakanda isn't real. It's from a movie-

"Comic book." Ron was quick to correct.

"Comic book," she rolled her eyes, "and secondly, this is the only place where no one would think to look for your goofy butts. Besides, even if they did find you they'd bring you right back." Kim lightly smirked. The two teens rolled their eyes.

Kim finally reached out, and pulled the two brothers into one final hug.

"Stay outta trouble, okay?" She sweetly said as she pulled off of them.

"No promises." Jim replied.

The next few minutes were the hardest for Kim. Watching her family board a jet in the soaking rain, taking off until they were no longer in sight. She hadn't wanted to tell her family, but there was a great chance the two wouldn't come back from this. Not this time.

Never before had they faced a foe so strategically organized and cryptic. Not to mention, practically a ghost. Not one person had a photo, video, or even a rendered drawing of the Rogue. It was almost as if she didn't exist to the public eye.

"Well, Mr. Dr. P is safe. Now what?" Ron turned to Kim, holding the umbrella for them both. Kim paused for a moment, then turned to the boy.

"We follow the clues. She had to have slipped up at some point in her dozens of assassinations."

"What exactly do we follow? I don't even know where to begin to look, or what to look for, first of all." Ron retorted.

"We go back to the source. Her crime scenes. Nobody gets away completely clean, and that's where we'll begin our hunt." Kim said, beginning to remember all the cryptic identity hints Wade had been telling her about the Rogue.

"It's not gonna be easy. You do know that?" Ron said.

"When has it ever been." Kim briefly spoke, followed by a side grin. This is what Ron loved. The ambitious, righteous vigilante side of Kim again. Seeing it in her now made him realize, it's just a whole part of her. One he finally understood, it's not something that can be taken away from her.

His only reply, was the same smile back.

"Hicka-bicka boo?"

"Hoosha."

The plane ride was a quiet one. The cabin was dark, lit by only the moonlight from the outside. The indoor lights in the ceiling were flicked off, other than the one bulb that lit the path to the bathroom door in the back of the jet.

Ron had fallen asleep not long after they had boarded the jet, leaving Kim alone to the still silence thirty thousand feet in the air. Which, in her current state, was not a good thing.

Being alone to think was dangerous, unhealthy. It almost frightened her. She knew she wasn't crazy, but it was common sense for just about anyone to be haunted by the people she couldn't save, watching them die right before her eyes.

The girl tried to sleep. Closing her eyes numerous times, only to reopen them to realize she couldn't clear her head enough to snooze. She had finally accepted she wasn't going to be getting sleep, again. This, however, made her being to feel restless. No Ron to talk to, nowhere to go, no entertainment. She was a sitting duck in a pond of boredom and distaste.

Throughout the ride Kim found herself doing numerous activities to keep her entertained. Clicking the on-board movie on and off, talking to the pilot, reading the ads in the back of the seat, even dropping to the floor and pumping out an entirety of pushups. She didn't tire herself out with pushups like she'd wanted, but after hitting the high two hundreds without breaking a sweat, she grew annoyed. Frustrated.

She concluded that the remainder of her flight would be dreadful. However, things were about to get much worse.

"Hello, Kimmie." The redhead heard the haunting voice. She didn't even turn her head to look. She already knew.

"No. NO. God." The girl immediately whined in frustration and slammed her fists down on the armrests.

"You need to unwind, kiddo. You seem tense." The raven haired woman sarcastically spoke, placing her hands on Kim's shoulders for a half-assed shoulder rub.

"Don't." Her harsh voice made the imaginary woman stop, with Kim throwing her hands off her viciously.

"I thought you'd be happy to see me." She spoke again.

"I'm never happy to see you. You're not even real. You're just-

"A coping mechanism? If only, right?," The woman stood up from the seat, and walked into the isle, "No, Kim. I'm very real. In fact, I may be the only thing keeping you in reality. After all, who better to let you know you're failing, than me." She leaned up right next to Kim, evilly smirking.

"I've already got that covered." Kim didn't even bother with a snarky response.

"Oh come on! You can't even let me have a little bit of fun?" The imaginary woman stood back up, annoyed.

"Why do you always have to torture me? Huh? What do you get out of this?" Kim's voice raised, as she stood up.

"This. Exactly this. Nothing gives me more joy than watching you fluster. Besides," She stopped, "I'm the real reason you're chasing this psychopath." She then proceeded to piss her off.

"Shut up! Get out of my head!" Kim yelled in Shego's face, attempting to shove her in the isle. But just as last time, she didn't take into account that Shego wasn't physically there. With all her weight pressed into the push, she then fell into the isle of the private jet.

"Really... are you ever gonna learn?" Shego leaned over Kim.

"Shut up! SHUT. UP. Get the hell out of my head!" Kim yelled again, sitting up against the side of the chair. She pressed her palms against her ears, trying to tune Shego out.

"I'm here to stay, Princess. And you wanna know something?" Shego said in a creepy tone, followed by grabbing her by the neck of her shirt. "I'm never going away." She then whispered in Kim's ear.

"STOP! NO!" Kim screamed to the top of her lungs, squeezing her eyes shut tightly.

Then, silence filled the air.

Kim slowly opened her eyes. It was empty. All she saw was the dark indoor cabin, and Ron snoring in the seat near the window. She frantically looked around, still no sign of Shego.

It's not real. She knows it isn't, yet it still seems to haunt her. But for now, she could finally breathe.

Kim sighed deeply, and plopped her head down in her knees. Shego was gone. For now.
