Takagi and nishikata roamed around the festival
Nishikata : its gonna be difficult from now on for me….

Nishikata ; well for one shuichi and suika are gonna stay here in Tokyo for a month…
Takagi : because of the pregnancy?
Nishikata ; since he'll have to stay with her I'll have to temporarily take control of the Tokyo office…
Takagi : so you wont be able to come to school for a bit?
Nishikata : yeah… I Probably won't even have time to spend with you..
Takagi : that's too much work for a single person, you'll exhaust yourself
Nishikata : well shuichi did my part and his part of the work for me for over 7 years before I learned to help… One month is the least I could do…
Takagi : ( she got an idea) hey I know I'm not that much help while doing the work but can I come with you?
Nishikata : ( he jokingly said) maybe you can be my secretary for a month
Takagi : no I'm serious yuki…
Nishikata : ( he thought for a second) do you know there's an internship program with lasts a month for students which is compulsory to pass? Well if I can work things out with the principal I can make it technically our internship…
Takagi : so we'll have the internship early so?
Nishikata : well since we'll have the internship early then when everyone goes to their internships we just get a month off of school… Maybe we can plan a trip?
Takagi : that's a great idea ( she kissed him) you're so thoughtful…
Nishikata : I'll try and make that possible, but where do you wanna go?
Takagi : I don't really know but we can decide later…
Nishikata : yeah… I think we should go to the shrine on top of the mountain
Takagi : the student council has fireworks show right?
Nishikata : we should be able see them clearly from up there
Takagi : good idea…
They both were going to the shrine when
Takagi : I'll just go and get some ice cream bars for us ok..
Nishikata : sure
When she was coming back suddenly the lights of her side of the festival went out and a stampede started which separated the two of them
Nishikata : ( the tried to run into the stampede but he felt something pulling him back)
Nishikata was abruptly pulled into a dark corner hidden in trees behind the stalls and booths, above him in the shrine stood a boy
Amano : ( he looked down and saw it he saw the person who had dragged Nishikata into the corner) oh? Maybe I should just in case… ( he took put his phone and started recording)
Back to nishikata
Nishikata : ( he was disoriented for a few seconds until he saw the person in front of him, her platinum hair almost glowed in the dark)
Izumi : ( she pushed him down to the ground) good thing your girlfriend is still stuck in that stampede..
Nishikata : the lights….It was you wasn't it
Izumi : who knows?
She closed in on him
Izumi : what's wrong weren't you gonna break my legs with your barehands?
Nishikata : ( he had said that out of anger but any kind of physical contact other than basic things like handshakes were impossible for him to do on any female other than takagi and it had taken him years even reach that point with her)

Nishikata : why…. ( he struggled to get the words out of his mouth) are you doing this..

Nishikata : ( he felt a layer of anger rise from withing him)

Nishikata : ( he didn't say anything he just ran out from the dark corner leaving her alone)
Izumi : interesting… that locket must be pretty important to him… Its not a good idea to do anything now i should retreat…
Above her in the shrine
Amano : ( he looked at the recording he had just acquired) what should I do with this I wonder… ( this is some solid blackmail...) ( he walked down back the the festival using the south stairs

Takagi : ( that stampede was way too long good thing I didn't get hurt) ( the ice cream had completely melted during the stampede so she got another pair, she was walking back when he saw nishikata) Yuki! I'm here!
Nishikata : ( he was panting hard)
Takagi : ( she immediately felt something was wrong) ( she comforted him) what's wrong
Nishikata : ( he looked completely shaken) alone…..
Takagi : alone?
Nishikata : let's be alone for sometime
Takagi took Nishikata upto the shrine where there was almost no one and since amano was using the south stairs and they were using the north ones they didn't see each other..
Takagi : ( she hugged him) now tell me what's wrong honey?
Nishikata : ...I'm sorry….
Takagi : what? ( she pulled him closer) what happened?
Nishikata : ( he somehow relayed everything that happened to takagi in bits and peices) I'm sorry….
Takagi : ( she hugged him and stroked his hair) it wasn't your fault yuki
Nishikata : ( he actually had tears in his eyes) I couldn't do anything…. I'm still just a wimp…
Takagi : ( she had never seen Nishikata really cry before but this wasn't going to stop her from comforting him) it's alright yuki…
Nishikata : but now… It Feels wrong… I feel like I betrayed you…
Takagi : it doesn't matter, it was all her fault, I still love you nothing can change that… ( she kissed his cheek) ( she remembered back to their fight… she'd felt betrayed but now she knew that nishikata was never going to betray her… she Still felt bad about that misunderstanding) I did much worse things to you didn't I…
Nishikata : ( he tried to stop his tears and only a few were left on his face )
Takagi : ( she pulled out an ice-cream and fed him so he could calm down…)
Nishikata : ( he took deep breaths as he finished the bar) I still feel so bad… It doesn't feel right without punishment..
Takagi : I'm not gonna punish you because of her ( that bitch is gonna die the next time I see her)
Nishikata : it just doesn't fell right, slap me do whatever you want..
Takagi : yuki… ( she stared at the floor thinking of way to talking him out of the punishment but she got no answer… But then she saw her ice-cream bar completely melted and a plan hatched in her mind) if you wanna apologise then treat me to some ice-cream…
Nishikata : let's go I'll get you some
Takagi : I want right here right now.. ( she joined their foreheads again) like I gave you a taste on graduation…
Nishikata : that isn't a punishment…

Nishikata : ( he flinched and almost pushed her away because of reflex but then he started kissing back)
Takagi : ( she could literally feel the taste of vanilla in her mouth) ( so this how it felt… I Don't dislike this) that's it your punishment is over yuki

Takagi : yuki?
Nishikata : I want more…. ( he pulled her closer to his chest now she was on his lap..)

At that moment the fireworks started and both started staring at the sky

Bellow them at the foot of the mountain a boy stood
Amano : ( he stared at the video he had recorded) ( I have this but.. What am I even supposed to do with this…. I guess I'll hang to this…) ( he looked at the sky) beautiful fireworks… ( he got on his motorcycle and rode away from the festival..)
