A Very Morgan Christmas-Ch 13
The next morning after everybody enjoyed a delicious meal together Jack and Henry wanted to head back outside to play in the fresh snow so Reid, Hotch and Dave headed outside with them. Derek stayed inside with the women and started decorating the tree.
Penelope smiled as she helped hang the lights, she stood back and said, "everything is going to look so amazing" and Desi turned around from hanging a huge wreath over the fireplace and said, "I totally agree with ya Penelope, when we are done, everything is going to look amazing".
Sarah walked into the room and said, "alright I've got the wreaths all hung upstairs and it looks like sis took care of this room so now let's get that tree finished". About an hour later everybody was standing back admiring the beautiful Christmas tree in front of them.
Fran sighed happily and said, "I'm going to go get lunch ready, I'm sure the boys will be ready for something good to eat" as she turned around and headed into the kitchen. Sarah looked at Desi and why don't we go help her" and Desi said, "sounds good sis" as they followed their mom into the kitchen.
JJ looked at Emily and said, "why don't we go and see what the boys are doing", Emily said, "sounds good to me Jayje", she then looked over her shoulder and said, "you okay PG"?, Penelope grinned tiredly and said, "all good here EP, all good here" as she laid her head down on her husbands shoulder.
Emily and JJ smiled at each other before putting their coats on and heading outside to join the others who were playing in the snow. Derek kissed the top of his wifes head and said, "you're worn out aren't ya sweetness"?, she rubbed her stomach and said, "I'm so sorry to be such a bother".
He looked down at her and said, "baby girl look at me", she shook her head and said, "don't wanna", he put his finger under her chin and pulled it up so that she was looking him in the face. He said, "you are never, do you hear me, you are never a bother to me, I love you".
Tears streamed down her cheeks and she said, "I'm sor" and before she could finish with her sentence he claimed her lips with his in a passionate kiss. As they pulled apart he said, "baby girl please don't cry, it's just all of the hormones from the baby and where you're a little over two weeks late that's all".
He wiped away the tears and said, "I love you, we all love you and you are not now or will you ever be a bother to any of us". She smiled and then gently kissed his lips again before laying her head back down on his shoulder and closing her eyes.
She hadn't even realized that she'd fallen asleep until Derek was waking her up for lunch, she yawned and stretched and said, "how long was I asleep"?, Derek said, "about an hour I guess, you're exhausted goddess and you need your rest".
Penelope said, "what did I ever do to deserve you"?, Derek said, "you're just you and that's all I need gorgeous, that's all I need" as he leaned down and kissed her lips gently. He then pulled away and stood up and held out his hand to her.
She slipped her hand in his and grinned as he helped her up, they walked into the dining room and joined the others for a delicious meal before heading back into the living room to enjoy watching Christmas movies with the rest of her family for the rest of the evening.
