Chapter 13

Adam and Ann were on their way to the early afternoon theatre that was performing a Shakespeare piece and Ann was quite amazed at the performance. She now knew why Adam loved these shows. After the theatre they went for an early dinner at an open street cafe. Where they ordered seafood and again Ann had a new experience with seafood that she never had. After dinner Adam took her to the opera for which again she was totally enthralled in it.

"Adam this is so wonderful."

"Yes it is. I'm so glad you like this."

"I do Adam."

After the opera it was time to go for a little night cap and dessert. Then to their hotel room. Ann was very tired by this time.

"Adam I think you have worn me out."

"But didn't you have a good time my dear?"

"Yes Adam, I certainly did. This has been wonderful."

"Good. Now take those shoes off and I will rub your feet for you to relax you."

"Adam, where did you come from? You are a very different man from any I have known."

"Huh, huh, well my love, I only do this for the lady that I love very much."

"And I truly thank you for this. OH that feels so good."

"Would you like for me to do the rest of your body my love?"

"Yes Adam, I surely would."

"Alright come sit on the bed and take your clothes off alright."

"Oh yes with pleasure my dear Adam."

Adam massaged Ann's whole body and it relaxed her so much that it put her to sleep. Adam covered her up and kissed her and went to get ready for bed himself.

The week went fast and it was Friday evening and Adam and Ann were on their way to meet Pa and Hoss and Joe in the dinning room. Tomorrow they would all head out for Wells to pack up Adam and Ann and move them to the Ponderosa.

"Hello Pa, Hoss, Joe. How was your week?"

"It was good son. And yours?"

"It went very well. MY wife now loves the theatre, opera, and looking at different shapes of buildings with me, among other things."

"Well Ann, you now know what my oldest son is all about."

"And I love every bit of it."

"Huh, huh, yes I'm sure you do. So what shall we have for dinner?'

"Well I would like for my wife here to have a normal meal. What about it Ann. Can we get you a steak dinner or roast beef dinner?"

"As long as it's Ponderosa beef you can."

"Hey Adam, she's a true Cartwright already."

"Yes she is Joe. So steak dinners all the way around."

"Alright, shouldn't be long. I'll bring coffee first."

"Thank you."

Dinner went great and everyone went back to their rooms and tried to get a good nights sleep so they could get up early and get a good start to Wells. However Ann had a different plan up in their room.

"Adam, are you really that tired?"

"Why Ann? Do you have something in mind?"

"Yes I do. And you know what it is."

"Oh yes I think I do. Woman, you're going to wear me out if we keep this up."

"You can't possibly ever wear out my dear Adam. You're to good at this. Now what do you say my husband?"

"I say let's go for it my wife."
