(Hello. Once again it's been awhile. A whole year. But nevertheless I have returned with another update.)

One night at the Sparkle residence, Naruto was inside the guest room at the desk with his laptop opened. He was currently typing up a report about his current status while attending CHS as a foreign exchange student.

It's amazing how things feel completely different when you're at a different location and attending a different school. You'd think someone like me would be used to it having traveled to several parallel dimensions, but it never stops surprising me. My time at CHS sure has been interesting. The atmosphere around the school is so welcoming and positive. So many of the students there are nice and happy. I've made friends with so many of them, but out of all of them, seven stand above the rest. Sunset Shimmer's a lot like me, started out as a rebel who had a hard time fitting in or rather she didn't wanna fit in, but rather rule everyone. But all it took was one event to change her outlook on everything. Now she's one of the nicest students in the school.

Naruto thought back to a time, he was hanging out with Sunset outside CHS, "Fluttershy beat you in one of the easiest video games ever made?" Naruto laughed.

"Yeah-yeah, laugh it up." Sunset rolled her eyes.

"Still at least you were a good sport about it."

"I know. Thank goodness. If it was me back then who knows what I would've done to Fluttershy over losing a video game match." Sunset feared.

"Sunset, you got to stop reminding yourself of who you used to be," Naruto said, "The past is in the past. What matters is how you are in the now."

Sunset smiled, "Yeah. You're right, Naruto."

"And with all the good everyone's said you've done since you turned your life around I say you've outweighed all the bad you've ever done back then."

"Glad you think so."

"Plus, I wasn't always as nice. Before I was a Tailed Beast member I was involved in underground street fighting where anything can go, and it's fight to the death," Naruto sighed, "But I was lucky to have friends to pull me out of that dark place before I was so deep I'd never be able to climb out. Not to mention there was another me in one of the other universes who practically tried to decimate our whole multiverse and rewrite it in his image. Of course being corrupted by a powerful artifact played a key role in it. So yeah even he would understand what you went through."

Sunset put an arm around Naruto, "Take it from one former troublemaker, it's much better to be everyone's friend, than everyone's enemy."

"And that's a fact." Naruto replied, as they laughed together.

Applejack is one of the most honest and hardest working of people I've ever met here. There's never any use in lying to her because she can sniff out a lie like I can sniff out ramen a mile away. But not even she lets hard work drag her down, especially when she has friends to help out.

One day at Sweet Apple Acres, Spike was in the barn helping Applejack with some chores. Spike was helping the country girl move some bales of hay over to a spot, before they stopped for a breather.

"I tell ya, A.J, this hard work sure is helping me keep up with my exercises." Naruto said, as he stretched his arms.

"I can believe it. Normally Big Mac is the only one able to keep up with me." Applejack said amazed.

"Being a street fighter means ya have to keep yourself in tip top shape. And I have no intention of turning into a slacker."

"That I can believe."

"And it must take a lot of work and help to keep things going around here." Naruto looked around.

"Sure does," Applejack confirmed, "Granny's been raisin' me and my sibs for years, and while she's still a tough old bird, we all got to do whatever we can to help out."

"Just as long you don't carry the load on your own. It's like holding the weight of the world on your shoulders. Sooner or later something's gonna give."

"Yeah. I used to be stubborn about that kind of stuff until I learned to accept help from others."

"Accepting help doesn't make you weak. I know that for sure." Naruto said.

"Right. Well, what say we grab a bite?"

"Sounds good to me." And with that the two headed on inside for lunch.

Rainbow Dash may come off as cocky and overconfident, which I admit reminds me a lot of myself. But if there's one thing she's known for it's her fierce loyalty to her friends. Plus she's a good workout partner. When she's not using the full extent of her speed.

One time in the park, Naruto and Rainbow were going for a jog, "Oh, yeah, ya feelin' that burn, Naruto?" Rainbow asked.

"I sure am. How about you?"

"You know it."

"I'm also glad you're not using your magic to zip off."

"This is a jog, not a race. Besides if it was a race challenging you wouldn't matter." Rainbow teased.

"You realize using your speed in a race against someone would be cheating?"

"Maybe, but not if the other has power too." Rainbow nudged him.

"Maybe one of my counterparts, but the only power I have is basic hand to hand skills. Compared to what my counterparts are capable of my abilities are normal. Besides I didn't need special powers to climb my way up into joining one of the best street fighting teams." Naruto noted.

"Yeah. That is totally awesome."

"Plus do you need to use your magic for any of the sports you play?" the boy inquired.

"Where would the fun in that be?" Rainbow asked rhetorically, "I know when and when not to use my power. Especially since over using it causes the others magic to go haywire."

Naruto smirked, "Always gotta use moderation."

"Right. Come on, double time!" Rainbow ordered, as the two picked up the pace.

Pinkie Pie is without a doubt one of the funniest girls I've ever met here. And one of the best party planners there ever was. Although she's like a lose cannon and always unpredictable. There's never a dull moment when she's around. And I'm glad she's like that. The world needs more people like her and not more stuck up-by the book snobby buzzkills.

At the Sweet Snacks Cafe one afternoon. Naruto was sitting on a stool up at the counter enjoying a milkshake. Pinkie slid in and spoke, "Enjoying your milkshake, Naruto?"

"You know it." he replied.

"How about a review? For publicity."

Naruto rated the cafe giving it the best rating which put a smile on Pinkie's face, "Yes!" she cheered.

Naruto looked around seeing the place was packed with customers. Some he recognized as fellow students from CHS or from Crystal Prep, and some looked like regular folk he'd see around town.

"It sure is busy around here." he noticed.

"Oh, this is just an average day. You should see it when it's really packed." Pinkie emphasized.

"I'm afraid to imagine it. Still how're you able to keep up with so many customers, let alone keep them satisfied?"

"It's a talent, Naruto. And when you know so many people like I do, you pick up on a lot of things about them." Pinkie smiled.

"Such as?"

"Well, see Flash over there in that booth?" Pinkie motioned to Flash. Naruto nodded, "Whenever he's stressed about something, like a big test, he always orders grilled cheese."

"Interesting," Naruto admitted, "Your perception is very impressive."

"Eh, it's just common observation." Pinkie shrugged like it wasn't big.

"Right." Naruto smiled, as he enjoyed the rest of his milkshake.

You know how some people who're the prettiest, handsome, and fashionable individuals are always stuck up and full of themselves? Well, Rarity's not like that kind of stereotype. Don't get me wrong, she is pretty and fashionable, but she is definitely not stuck up and full of herself. Aside from her beauty and well mannered demeanor, she's the most generous person you'd ever have the privilege of knowing. And any guy would be lucky to date her too.

At the boutique one day, Naruto was standing before Rarity who doing some touch ups on the new outfit he was wearing.

"How much longer, Rarity?" Naruto groaned.

"Just a moment, darling," Rarity replied, as she finished, "And voila!"

Spike looked at his reflection to see his new outfit consisted of his sneakers, a black shirt with a fox face stitched on it, and a black and red no sleeved duster coat with the tail split down the middle that went to the back of his knees.

"Ooh, I like what I see," Naruto posed in the mirror, "Rarity, you really outdid yourself."

"Thank you, Naruto. I do my best when it concerns my friends."

"Based off what everyone said I can believe them. I mean you not only supplied them with outfits for the Fall Formal, but the outfits they currently wear now."

"If there's one thing I do enjoy doing is making sure my friends and just about everyone looks their most fabulous. And you, Naruto, couldn't get anymore fabulous than you are now." Rarity smiled.

"Thanks. The world could definitely use more generous people like you." Naruto smiled back.

"Naruto, please, you're making me blush." Rarity hid her blushing face, as Naruto chuckled.

Fluttershy's probably more timid than my friend Hinata, but behind that timidity is a girl with a heart of solid gold. If ever there was a saint on earth it's her. Always showing kindness to those who need it, and hardly ever getting mad. I'm lucky to know someone like her. And when it comes to animals she knows exactly what they need and what makes them tick.

One day at the Animal Shelter, Naruto was helping Fluttershy clean some of the kennels before the animals were allowed back in.

Naruto plopped into a chair looking tired, "Fluttershy, how can you handle doing this kind of work. Especially with the animal musk?"

Fluttershy giggled, "I know it can be hard work, but when you love working with animals as much as I do. It's not so bad."

"Well, these animals are really lucky to have you around. I'm amazed you don't have them all to yourself as pets." Naruto joked.

"I may love animals, but I could never deprive another lucky person from having such a sweet loving animal friend." she hugged a puppy.

"And you're just the gal to match up the right pet with the right owner."

Fluttershy giggled, "I try." Naruto and Fluttershy put the rest of the pets back in their kennels before one of the puppies licked Naruto's cheek making both her and Fluttershy laugh.

And then there's Twilight Sparkle, the girl who is hosting me here while I'm in America. She's one of the smartest girls I ever got to know here, although she wasn't always appreciated for her brains. Her previous school wasn't exactly the best place for her since every student was jealous of her and treated her as a total outcast which did no good for her self esteem. But when she transferred to CHS, her whole life turned around and she became a better her. And all it took was a bunch of friends.

One afternoon in Twilight's room, Naruto and Twilight were doing there homework together, as the boy showed the girl his work.

"Is this right, Twilight?"

"Perfect." Twilight gave him a thumbs up.

"Hey thanks again for working with me, Twilight. I swear Mr. Cranky Doodle is out to get me."

Twilight chuckled, "Everyone feels that way, but he's not so bad."

"If you say so."

"I'm just glad you've been adapting well to our written language."

"Well, I did have you to help me improve what I did know upon coming here. So my thanks goes to you." Naruto replied.

"Thanks."

"You are a bright girl, Twi. And if these awards and trophy's are anything to go by, I see you going very far in the world."

"Ya think?" Twilight blushed.

"Uh-huh. I mean in my family, my sister got more of the brains and I got more the brawn. That's not to say my sis is weak and I'm dumb. We just have a field we excel in most."

"Perhaps, though if you did put more effort into your studies the way you say your sister does you could be just as smart as her." Twilight noted.

"Probably, but I wouldn't wanna take that away from Kisa." Naruto replied, as the two chuckled.

"Having you here's been fun, Naruto."

"Really?"

"Sure. As much as I enjoy having fun with the girls and the rest of my friends as CHS, I'm always glad to make a new one."

Naruto nodded, "As am I."

"I hope this whole trip will leave you with more experiences."

"Same. And maybe one day you and the girls can come out to Japan and see me. I'm sure my peeps and my friends would love to meet you in person." Naruto offered.

"I'd love that. And I'm sure the others would love that too." Twilight replied, as the two smiled.

The flashback cut back to present time, as Naruto was finishing up his report.

And that's how it is for me attending CHS. I have a good host family, and a bunch of new friends. And I aim to spend as much time here having fun and learning all I can from them.

Naruto saved his report and closed his laptop before slipping into his sleepwear and got into bed. He couldn't wait to see what new brands of fun he would have with the Rainbooms and everyone else at CHS.

(And there you go. I know it's not much after a year of hiatus, but at least it's something. I hope you enjoy it, as I think of more ideas here and which of my alternate Naruto's visits that dimension next.)
