They get to the bakery and Ruby picks out twenty cookies. The cashier looks at her strangely, but a paying customer is a paying customer. Chris leaves a big tip for the hell of it, hearing the cashier gasp at the change and snickering.
"This day can't go any better! I have cookies to eat and a big bro to share them with!"
"I know you're excited and all Ruby, but you should slow down a little. Just breathe... look at the sky or something and enjoy the day."
Ruby sits down on a bench next to Chris and leans up against him, staring at the sky and eating her cookies.
"... it's nice to relax once in a while. Never really got to for the past few years."

"Well, I've pretty much been killing Grimm for the past three years everyday all day."
