Raven: The Ice Queen.
Day 13.
Raven stood at camp watching the 13 warriors prepare themselves for today's trials.
" Last time, the Penguins did the riddle path, solved the riddle, and claimed all four crystals, bringing their total to 37, the Polar bears Ben and Michael each answered a riddle in the gypsy's tower and earned two crystals each after they both answered correctly, their total stands at 25, the seals took part in archery, earned two crystals, bringing their total to 44, and the wolves overtook the polar bears again, by being successful in the thrall threads, collecting all four crystals, bringing their total to 26, three days remain till the warriors face the portal, three more challenge each team will have to face", said Raven.
Day 13.
Team: Penguins.
Color: Blue
Members: 3.
Leader: Isabel.
Vice Leader: Dominic
Other: Bridget.
Crystals: 37.
Challenge: Catapults.
Isabel, Dominic and Bridget stood next to a giant catapult, 20 feet from them are four pedestals with a vase in each one.
Raven then approached them.
" Warriors, welcome to your next challenge, the catapult, a simple challenge that tests your accuracy, what you must do is launch the cannonballs to the pedestals, knocking the vases from them, inside each vase is a crystal, you'll only have six shots, use them wisely", said Raven.
He then left the group as they began their challenge.
They took out the first cannonball, aimed at the first pedestal, launched the cannonball, but unfortunately missed the target.
" That's okay, we still have 5 shots left", said Dominic.
They then took out the second cannonball, aimed at the target properly, and fired the shot, the cannonball then landed on the vase, knocking it over and it shattered.
" Excellent", said Isabel.
She then picked up the third cannonball, the team aimed the catapult to the second pedestal, and the shot was fired, however, they missed the target again.
" 3 shots left, we can still the remaining three vases is we don't miss again", said Bridget.
They them aimed at the target properly, took out the fourth cannonball, fired at the target, and unfortunately miss again.
" We can still get two more gems from this", said Isabel.
After moving the catapult slightly, they took out the fifth cannonball, fired at the target, and hit the vase, knocking it over.
" Excellent, we can still get a third", said Dominic.
They them aimed the catapult to the third target, took out the final cannonball, fired the shot, and it hit the target, knocking the vase over.
Dominic, Isabel, and Bridget made their way to the vases, grabbed the three gems they earned and made off with them.
Day 13.
Team: Polar Bears.
Color: White.
Members: 2.
Warriors: Michael and Ben.
Crystals: 25.
Challenge: Stepping Stones.
Ben and Michael are in the forest, next to them is a giant circle, in the circle at giant rocks.
Raven Approached them.
" Warriors, in the circle, you must avoid touching the ground, should you do, you'll perish, the stepping stones can help you from falling, what you must do is use the planks to get from one stone to another, and grab the gems you seek, this challenges requires balance, speed and teamwork", said Raven, he then left the group.
Michael and Ben began to use the planks, and placed them between two stones, and walked across them.
There were only two planks, so after they were finished with one plank, they remove it and relocate it to another stone.
They reached one corner already and Michael grabbed the first crystal.
" We'll grab another then we'll think about heading back", said Michael.
So, after some more work on the planks, Ben and Michael approached the second crystal and Michael grabbed it and put it in his pocket where the other crystal is.
" Should we get another one, I think we're doing well", said Michael.
" No, my legs are sort of shaking right now, we should head back", said Ben.
" Okay then", said Michael.
And so, Michael and Ben made their way out of the circle, and left the challenge with two stones.
Day 13.
Team: Seals.
Color: Purple.
Members: 4.
Leader: Samantha.
Vice Leader: Thomas.
Others: Charlie and Charlotte.
Crystals: 44.
Challenge: Blind Mans Bluff.
Samantha, Thomas, Charlie and Charlotte stood in front of a castle, with a medusa in the middle and pouches hanging.
Raven then approached them
" Warriors, this is a challenge that will test Samantha's leadership, and requires communication, this is blind mans bluff, should a warrior enter the chamber and look at medusa directly in the eye, they will perish, one of you will go into the chamber blindfolded, and the rest of the team will guide you through the chamber to collect the pouches, each pouch contains one crystal, also beware of the demons, should the warrior doing this challenge make physical with the demons, they will perish and the game's over", said Raven.
Once he left, the team began the challenge.
Charlie volunteered to go in the chamber, blindfolded, and the challenge begun.
Samantha guided Charlie through the chamber, Charlie successfully grabbed the first pouch.
" Well done Charlie", said Charlotte.
" Should I get out, I don't think I'll make it through", said Charlie.
" We'll get one more and then we'll leave", said Charlotte.
After longer time of guiding him though, Charlie successfully grabbed the second pouch.
" Well done Charlie", said Charlotte.
" Took you long enough", said Thomas.
" Can I leave now", said Charlie.
" Yeah sure, we've got plenty of crystals anyway", said Samantha.
And so, Samantha guided Charlie back to the exit.
The team left the game together, with two crystals collected, bringing their total to 46.
Day 13.
Team: Wolves.
Color: Grey.
Members: 4.
Leader: Oliver, (Revived).
Vice leader: Tabitha.
Other: William.
Revived: Sophie.
Crystals: 26.
Challenge: The Maze.
Oliver, Tabitha, Michael and Sophie stood in front of a giant hedge maze, Raven then approached them.
" Warriors, welcome to the maze, a very simple challenge, what you must do, is enter the maze, reach the center, grab a crystal each, and leave the maze, when the first gong sounds, you may enter, but when the second gong sounds, the gates will open and you'll have a short amount of time left to get out, if any warrior remains in the maze after the third gong, they will perish, this challenge tests your speed, good luck", said Raven.
Once he left the group, the first gong sounded, and the wolves entered the maze.
They split up and began to look for the center individually.
They have come across dead ends, and each second they felt like they were closer.
William made it to the center first, and grabbed a crystal and began finding his way out of the maze.
Shortly after William, Tabitha made it to the center, and grabbed the second crystal and began making her way out of the maze.
Now that only leaves Oliver and Sophie.
As they were still searching, Tabitha and William made it out of the maze with the two gems, and hoped that Oliver and Sophie made it out as well, with or without the gems, if they were both still in the maze, they will both perish and the journey of the wolves will only continue with just William and Tabitha.
Time was running short, and they were still in the maze, each second going by made both Tabitha and William more nervous.
Sophie grabbed the third gem after she reached the center and she began to make her way out of the maze.
Oliver still struggled, and by the time he reached the center, Sophie was out of the maze.
The gong then sounded the second time, and the gates opened.
Oliver began making his way out of the maze, almost panicking, but he made it to the exit just in time before the third gong.
With sighs of relief, the four wolves leave the maze together with the four gems they collected, bringing them to a total of 30.
The Seals sat at camp, Raven then approached them.
" Charlie, I see that you have left the game early, was Blind mans bluff a difficult challenge for you", said Raven.
" It kind of was, I panicked a little because I thought the demons would catch me", said Charlie.
" Seals, did you think it was a wise decision to do so", said Raven.
" It was better to lack the gems than to lack a team, we have done so well together, and I don't think we should end our streak there", said Samantha.
" Excellent, true loyalty, something I see in a true warrior, let alone a true team, but do keep in mind there are only two days left of trials, and it could go downhill for you", said Raven.
Michael and Ben sat at camp, relaxing, Raven approached them.
" Polar bears, congratulations on collecting two crystals in that challenge, but I see you were reluctant on getting a third, Ben, why was that", said Raven.
" My legs were shaking throughout that challenge, I feared that I was going to fall off the stones any second, so I wanted to go back, plus we suggested on getting the second crystal first, then leave, and I chose to stick by it", said Ben.
" Well, only two challenges to go, hopefully your nerves can steady throughout them", said Raven.
" Another day has gone, the seals still lead the quest with 46 crystals, the penguins are close behind with 40, the wolves are in third with 30 crystals, and the polar bears are in last place with 27, only two days remain till the end of the trials, and the seals maintain a great lead, but they best be aware, one slip up could cost them big time", said Raven.
Next time on Raven the ice queen, the penguins test their courage in leap of faith, the seals test their speed in cage traps, the polar bears test their memory in the memory game and the wolves test their speed and strength in deep loch, 13 warriors still remain, we still have 8 days till the end of the quest, and three days till the portal opens.
