Neptune looked around at the shrubbery. It had been a few days since she got separated from the others. She calmly searched for berries. She began to hear a voice. "Giorno! Mista! Trish! Where did you run off to?" called the voice. Neptune thought about transforming, but she decided not to. The figure rounded the corner.
He was wearing a suit with black dots. His hair was also black, and he was quite tall, and also a little bit skinny. He looked friendly, but Neptune couldn't afford to jump to conclusions. "Who are you? Friend or foe?" she called. The man looked toward her, confused. "Why would I want to be a child's foe? That would be a pretty uneven battlefield." he replied. "My name is Bruno Bucciarati. I woke up here with no memories about how I got here."
Neptune sighed. "Well, we both have something in common. We don"t know where we are." she observed. "Would you believe me if I said I was a goddess?" Bruno's look of utter confusion returned. "Probably not. But I have a way to tell if someone's lying." he replied. He walked over to one of the many trees.
This was the tree Neptune had put her face against. He looked at Neptune with intent. "That expression of yours doesn't look like that of a bluffing girl." he began. "Next you'll say, How are you telling the truth when you are making such a ludicrous claim? Right?"
"How are you telling the truth when you are making such a ludicrous claim?" Bruno blurted. "Wha-!" Neptune grinned. "I had a hunch you'd say that." she replied, looking around. "I heard you mention something about looking for someone. I'm actually looking for someone as well. We could help each other." she offered.
Bruno sighed. "Well, it sounds reasonable. But, we'll have to split once we get to Naples." he replied. He heard a tree branch snap. "What was that?" he asked. He looked towards the source of the sound. And the one who stood before him was someone who was once long dead.
There, in the tree's shadow, stood Risotto.
"Bruno... Buccarati." The words were dark with a deep bass. "Never thought I'd run into you." Bruno looked at Risotto. It was a strange feeling. Looking into the dark, black and magenta eyes of a former deceased foe brought a chill down Bruno's spine.
Bruno chuckled. "What's so funny?" asked Risotto. "Have you already gotten the comment, I thought you were dead?" asked Buccarati. Neptune frowned. "But how could a man already be dead, if he is in front of us, clearly alive?" Risotto looked at Buccarati. "Bruno! Get away from that tree!" A gunshot rang out, but Bruno was knocked aside by Risotto. "Metallica!" Nero shouted, and knives began to form mid-air.
A man stepped from behind the tree. "Well done. Risotto Nero. Dio told me all about you." The man wore church attire, and he looked quite grim. He was a dark-skinned man of average to above-average height and slim to fit build. He had very short white hair with shaved lines forming two elongated hexagons of hair between his scalp and his temples, each joining the corresponding eyebrow with a zig-zagging strand of hair.
"I see we don't see eye-to-eye at the moment. I will introduce myself. My name is Enrico Pucci. And I have been sent by God to smite you." Pucci boomed. Risotto looked to Buccarati. "If you have a plan, I'm listening." whispered Risotto. Neptune took a shard out of her pocket. "Guess I have no choice." she muttered, absorbing it. Immediately, she began to transform. Her clothes vanished, making way for the processors that were quickly materializing, as her body grew to accommodate the new clothing. Her hair twisted and grew into vibrantly purple twin-tails, and her sword appeared in her right hand.
Bruno looked to where the little girl once stood, and he saw a goddess, with beauty that could not be touched. "How rude of me." the woman sighed. "I forgot to introduce myself. I am Purple Heart, the CPU of Planeptune. But you may call me Neptune."
Bruno couldn't believe it. "I still await your orders, Buccarati." Risotto said with a sigh. The capo sighed. "Very well. Neptune. Please assist us in battle." Purple Heart smiled. "Certainly." she replied, sprinting towards the priest. "Whitesnake!" cried the priest, as his Stand manifested.
"So that stronzo is a Stand user!" shouted Buccarati. "Sticky Fingers!" Bruno rushed the priest as Sticky Fingers manifested. Whitesnake lunged at Bruno, and a fistfight began. Whitesnake attempted to swipe at Bruno's Stand, while Bruno took swings at Whitesnake with his Stand. Ducking, punching, and dodging, neither Stand could land a hit on their foe.
Whitesnake swiped at Bruno's Stand once more. Sticky Fingers caught the hand and held it at bay. "There's something up with this hand of yours." observed Bruno. "You obviously want to hit me with a swipe attack quite badly."
"Let go of my right hand! You disgraced swine!" Wgitesnake began to repeatedly kick Sticky Fingers in the side, forcing Bruno to let go. He quickly dodged as Pucci's Stand swiped at him again. The swipe struck a tree. There was a click, then whirring as a disk slid out of the tree.
That's it! thought Bruno. "I've figured out the ability of your Stand, Enrico Pucci." announced Bruno. "You can take abilities and traits from living things, and keep them in disks." Pucci softly smiled. "Very good. Lord Dio did not overestimate you. Whitesnake's ability is what you say it is."
Whitesnake snatched the disk from the tree. "Since you're about to die, I might as well grace you with the truth before your eternal damnation. My Stand can take traits away from living things, but I can also insert these disks into living things to give them new traits." Pucci swiped at Bruno once more. "Now, I will erase you! You have already left this world!" he shouted.
Risotto threw a few knives, which were blocked by Pucci. The priest looked at the assassin with disgust. "You son of a-!"
Gunfire abruptly filled the air. Blood blossomed from Pucci's body as he was shredded by the bullets. He stood for a moment, stunned. He then collapsed.
"Got him!" shouted Narancia. "I pumped that bastard full of lead! He's still breathing, though, so I'll just finish hi-"
AAAAUGH! DAMMIT!"
Aerosmith's engines abruptly stopped, and it began to plummet. Bruno caught it with his Stand. The pilot in the cockpit was clutching his head, screaming in agony. Suddenly, Neptune saw a very familiar looking fireball coming down from the sky. She scooped up Risotto and Bruno and flew away as fast as possible. Bruno kept ahold of Aerosmith as they were lifted off the ground.
An earth shattering boom filled the air as a familiar foe appeared. It was Dark Purple. This was going to be a problem.
"Oh my God!"
shouted Joseph. "What is that thing?!" Jotaro picked up Narancia. "Get in the chopper. Go! Go!" The group climbed into the chopper as fast as they could, grabbing as much supplies as they could carry as they abandoned the campsite. Frisk watched as the massive creature roared, walking towards the east. What is it doing?
Neptune looked towards the Dark CPU, worried. Uzume was nowhere in sight, meaning that getting a Share Field up was next to impossible. She saw the chopper and flew towards it. Aerosmith's engines roared to life as it flew towards the helicopter. It flew into the open doors, and Narancia instinctively stretched out his arms so Aerosmith could land.
It skidded onto his arms and vanished. Neptune put Risotto and Bruno into the chopper. The craft shook as a bolt of magic struck the chopper, and it began to plummet. Neptune shut the doors and flew under the craft, trying to guide it to a soft landing. Jotaro sighed. "Good grief." He looked through the cockpit window. Star Platinum was able to zoom in on a particular flying object. It's that bitch from earlier that attacked us! Jotaro reached out with Star Platinum and grabbed Frisk's gun. He took careful aim with Star Platinum, and fired. The bullet whizzed through the air.
Rei was struck in the left wing by a bullet. "What the-!" The wing shattered, causing her to begin a plummet to the ground. Jotaro watched Rei crash to the ground. Just as it happened, the helicopter hit the ground. It was a hard landing, as the helicopter fell on its side and the blades broke off, until the engine died. Everyone scrambled out of the vehicle, looking around while collecting their stuff from the helicopter. Jotaro sighed. "Another happy landing." he cheered sarcastically. Neptune switched back into her human form as she assessed the damage. The chopper was totaled.
Jotaro looked towards the giant... and saw nothing. "The giant... it's gone!" Izuku shouted. "Indeed. But how could it have vanished?" asked Kakyoin. Frisk looked towards the shore, and saw a road. "Guys? We might be close to civilization." Jotaro turned, walking towards the road. "Not a bit of erosion. And it looks like it's just been laid." Kakyoin mentioned. Jotaro looked around. At that moment, Joseph shouted, "Above us!" Jotaro looked up. An airship was flying overhead.
The cargo bay doors opened, revealing a man in black. He jumped out of the airship. He had silver hair and a dark complexion. "So, you call yourself a goddess, Neptune?" the man chuckled. Neptune pulled out a second share crystal. "Sephiroth..." she whispered. Cloud had told her all about the One-Winged Angel. "Cloud must have told you all about me." Sephiroth chuckled. He called out. "Rei, you can tell the President that we have the fugitives in custody."
"La Delphinus!" shouted a familiar voice. Rei shrieked as she was engulfed in a pillar of fire. Neptune quickly transformed as she readied herself for battle. Sephiroth lunged at Neptune, blade at the ready.
