"No! No! No!" Scarlie said as she practically tossed her book of monsters. "I can't think of one good plan that will help me destroy the rangers! None of these monsters seem to have what it takes! Why am I surrounded by nitwits?!"
"Please calm down. We'll think of something." Zabaro said.
"There must be something we're just missing." Vyla said. "There just has to be a way we can bring those rangers down for good." They tried to think, but they weren't coming up with anything.
"You're having trouble conquering one little planet?" All of them snapped out of their thoughts when they heard someone else. They saw another monster step in and they were shocked to see who it was. This monster was a red dragon-like being with a spear and a gold plated chest.
"Dragight?!" Scarlie said as she couldn't believe it. "How...nice to see you again."
"What is Master Locore's top general doing here?" Zabaro said.
"Apparently, seeing you fools fail. Although, I'm not surprised." Dragight said.
"Show a little respect." Zabaro said as he held his sword to him, but Dragight knocked it away and and blasted Zabaro with a fireball.
"I should show you respect? Don't forget that I outrank you." Dragight said. "Master Locore sent me here to check on your progress. You can't conquer one little planet? Pitiful."
"It's not my fault!" Scarlie said. "It's those stupid humans that call themselves Power Rangers. They foil all of my plans."
"Power Rangers? In that case, I should see for myself just how powerful they are." Dragight said. This guy is far more powerful than anything Scarlie sent. How are the rangers going to do against him?

The Youth Center
Meanwhile, down at the Youth Center, Travis and Robby were doing a little workout to help them keep in shape. They lifted weights with Joey and David spotting them.
"That's it. Just a few more." Joey encouraged. Travis and Robby lifted a little more and set the weights down. "Nice work."
"Thanks, but I'm not done yet." Travis said.
"You're not? I am." Robby said as he got up.
"Really?" Travis said. "Robby, you did the same set as you have for the past few times. Don't you want to do more?"
"No. Why would I?" Robby said.
"So you can rise to the challenge." Travis said. "This way, you can get stronger and better. It shows that you're improving."
"Improving? How can you improve on perfection?" Robby said with the others getting a bit annoyed. Travis went back and tried lifting some more weights. That was right when the girls showed up.
"Hey, guys." Abby said.
"How's it going?" Sierra said.
"Travis is getting better, but Robby is just being lazy." David said.
"I'm not lazy. I just don't think I need to get better." Robby said. Robby thinks he's great as he is and doesn't need to improve. Before they could argue more about this, their communicators went off and alerted them of danger. They all gathered around and made sure no one was watching.
"What is it, Zultro?" Travis asked.
"Rangers, teleport here at once. We have a serious situation." Zultro said.
"We're on our way." Travis said. They got their stuff together and hurried.
...
The Command Center
As soon as the rangers got the call, they teleported to the command center. It seemed like Zultro was on the edge about something. As soon as they teleported in, Zultro and Gamma looked uneasy.
"What's going on?" Valerie asked.
"Just look." Gamma said. They showed an image of Dragight attacking the city and destroyed everything in his path.
"It's just another monster. Let's get down there." Robby said.
"Rangers, you must exert caution. This monster is far more powerful than anything Scarlie has sent before." Zultro warned them.
"We can handle it." Robby said.
"Regardless, we need to do something about this." Sierra said.
"Let's go, guys." Travis said as they all got ready. "It's morphin time!"
"White Spinosaur!"
"Green Plesiosaur!"
"Black Ankylosaur!"
"Pink Pterodactyl!"
"Blue Triceratops!"
"Yellow Parasaur!"
"Red Tyrannosaurus!"
...
Angel Grove
Dragight arrived at Angel Grove. As soon as he arrived, he started attacking everything and was looking for the rangers.
"Where are these mighty rangers?" Dragight said.
"Looking for us." Dragight turned around and was faced with all seven of them.
"You're the rangers? You don't look that tough." Dragight said. "You just look like brightly colored fools in spandex. Then again, looks can be deceiving. Come on. Show me how tough you really are."
"You asked for it!" Travis said as they all charged at him. Each one of them tried to hit him, but Dragight blocked each one of their attacks and used his spear against them. Dragight spun around and slashed against each one of them. He didn't stop there as he flew up in the air. Once he was up there, he launched multiple fireballs at them and blasted each one of the rangers.
"I'm not impressed." Dragight said as he landed down. "Is this really all you rangers got?"
"Monsters like you can't handle what we got." Travis said as he pulled out his sword. He jumped in the air and tried to attack him, but Dragight blocked him with his spear. Travis tried to push through, but Dragight stood his ground.
"Not bad, but not good either!" Dragight said. He pushed his sword out of the way and slashed against Travis pretty hard. Travis rolled against the ground and took some damage.
"Travis, are you okay?" Abby said as they helped him up.
"Barely. This guy really is strong." Travis said.
"You haven't seen anything yet." Dragight said as unleashed a powerful blast of fire. All of them got caught in the fire and ended up blasting all of them with a great explosion going off. All the rangers got caught in it and they all got hurt pretty bad. "I thought you rangers would be tougher from all the talk I heard. Now I see you're nothing, but weaklings. It's a mystery why you gave Scarlie a hard time. Then again, Scarlie's an imbecile."
"Talking bad about your master? That's new." Joey said.
"Master? Ha! Don't make me laugh." Dragight said. "I don't serve Scarlie. She's just a novice sorceress compared to the one I really answer to."
"What do you mean? Who are you?" Travis asked.
"My name is Dragight. I serve a much stronger power than Scarlie, but it doesn't seem like you seven will be around." He launched more fireballs at them and they all got blasted pretty hard again.
"Oh man. He really is a lot stronger than anything Scarlie sent." Valerie said.
"And he's ruthless. We won't last much longer like this." David said.
"This was too easy." Dragight said as he turned away from them. "This is barely worth my time. I'll let you rangers go this time, but only this time. Surrender while you still can." Dragight pulled out of this fight and left the rangers. They better figure out what they're going to do about this one or else this could be it.

The Command Center
"Zultro, we could be in real trouble with this one." Travis said. After Dragight left, the rangers were trying to recover after they got thrashed around. "This guy really is on another level than anything Scarlie sent our way."
"How are we going to beat him?" Joey said.
"Come on. He's just another monster." Robby said.
"Perhaps, but you should never hold one monster on the same caliber as others." Zultro said. "It might take everything you rangers have and more to beat this enemy."
"So we better come up with a plan." Sierra said.
"We'll monitor the city if Dragight comes back. Maybe the rest of you should rest or be ready for when he does." Gamma said.
"Good idea." Travis said. They have to be ready for anything against this threat. It's just like Zultro said. It's going to take everything the rangers have and maybe more to beat him.
...
Scarlie's Palace
"So those were the "mighty" rangers you were talking about?" Dragight said. "They were nothing, but a joke. Then again, I always knew you weren't all that special."
"You can't talk to her like that!" Zabaro said as he stepped forward to defend Scarlie, but Vyla held him back.
"Just you wait, Dragight. The rangers always find a way to turn the tide in their favor." Scarlie said. "I bet that the next time you face them, they'll get the drop on you. They always do that to me."
"I highly doubt that." Dragight said. "On me, I don't see that happening. On you, I do because you were always nothing, but a spoiled brat who never really had what it took."
"That ungrateful..." Zabaro said as he was about to step in, but Vyla kept him from doing anything.
"Zabaro, leave it." Vyla said. Zabaro wasn't going to just watch this. He stepped away with Vyla going after him. "Zabaro, hold on. I know you're loyal to Scarlie, like a knight to a queen, but Dragight is more powerful than we are. What can we really do?"
"That's easy. We'll destroy the rangers ourselves for Lady Scarlie." Zabaro said.
...
Angel Grove
The rangers had to stay on standby until Dragight came back. Still, they were all a little anxious. Dragight is powerful and beating him won't be as easy as beating any of the other monsters they've fought up until now.
"Come on. What's with all the long faces?" Robby said as he tried to break the tension. "It's just another monster. We'll beat him like we've beaten all the ones that came before."
"You got the right attitude, Robby, but we still have to acknowledge how powerful this one is." Abby said.
"This is just what I was saying earlier." Travis said. "This one is tougher and we need to improve and rise to the challenge. Next time, we might not be so lucky." All of them were trying to figure out what to do, but they were interrupted as energy blasts landed near them. All of them looked and saw Vyla and Zabaro with some golems.
"Oops. I missed. I was aiming for their heads." Vyla said.
"We're so not in the mood for you two." Travis said.
"Too bad. Today is the day you finally fall. Attack!" Zabaro said as the golems went and attacked the seven of them. Dragight might have been strong, but the rangers can handle these guys. They fought off the golems, but Vyla and Zabaro jumped in as well. Vyla came at both Travis and Robby as she swung her spear at them, but they both rolled under her attack.
"When will you learn that you'll never beat us?" Robby said.
"Dragight might say differently." Vyla said as she tried to fight both of them. As for Valerie, she was trying to avoid the golems and pushed them out of her way. She was holding out, but Zabaro leaped at her. She avoided his sword, but Zabaro kicked her down. Valerie reached for her morpher, but Zabaro knocked it out of her hands.
"Nowhere to go." Zabaro said as he held his sword towards her.
"David!" Valerie called. David saw she was in trouble.
"Val!" David called as he raced to help her, but the golems got in his way.
"You're mine." Zabaro said and he noticed something strange about Valerie than the other rangers. She looked ready to have a nervous breakdown. "Interesting." Before he coudl do anything, Joey jumped in and used both of his legs to kick him back.
"You okay?" Joey said as he handed her morpher.
"Thanks." Valerie said.
"Let's do it, guys! It's morphin time!" All of them morphed and were more than ready to take the enemy on now. Before this could escalate any further, fire was launched at them and all of them. They all looked up and saw Dragight arrived.
"I thought I warned you, rangers. I thought you would have been smart enough to stay out of the way from now on." Dragight said.
"I can't believe he would attack us when those on his side got caught in it." Sierra said.
"What are you doing here?" Vyla asked.
"Cleaning your messes." Dragight said.
"That's it! I've had it with this guy!" Travis said as the rangers regrouped and faced Dragight. "We're ready for you this time."
"Doubt it." Dragight said as he stuck his spear in the ground and it caused an explosion to go off around the rangers. "Told you."
"That does it!" Robby said as he stood back up. "Travis was right. It's time to step it up and rise to the challenge!" Robby pulled out his shield and charged right at him.
"How stupid are you?!" Dragight said as he launched more flames at him, but Robby used his shield to weaken the damage and kept going. What?!" Robby kept going no matter how much fire was thrown at him and smashed his shield right against Dragight and knocked him back. The other rangers stepped in. Sierra and Valerie used their weapons and fired some energy attacks and blasted him. Joey and Abby jumped in and smashed their weapons against him. Travis and David jumped in and slashed him as well.
"Nice move, Robby." Travis said. "Now let's put our weapons together and put an end to this." The five of them put their weapons together.
"Neo Power Blaster!"
"What the heck?" Dragight said.
"Fire!" They launched their attack and blasted Dragight. Dragight got hit by it and an explosion went off. However, Draight survived the attack. He survived, but he took some damage as he was blown back from it. He can see now that he really did underestimate the rangers.
"This isn't over. You haven't seen the last of me." Dragight said.
"Us neither." Zabaro said as the three of them retreated.
"Whew. That was tough." Travis said.
"Yeah..." Robby said as he collapsed. The others saw Robby was in bad shape and was in need of some help.
...
The Command Center
Robby was taken back to the command center. Gamma and Zultro were treating his injuries, but it looked like he was going to be okay.
"How are you feeling, Robby?" Joey asked.
"Like I was just pulled out of the oven." Robby said.
"You know, it was actually really cool with how you rushed in there and let the guy have it." Abby said.
"She's right. You really stepped up, Robby." Travis said as all of them were impressed with what he did and Robby was real proud of himself as well. The others were happy about this, but Zultro seemed to have some concerns.
"Zultro, is something wrong?" Gamma asked as he and the others looked towards him.
"I'm worried on what this might mean." Zultro said. "That was not one of Scarlie's monsters you rangers fought today. It was something else. I have a feeling things are going to change around here." None of them liked the sound of that. Scarlie was troubling enough, but what else could be coming there way?
