I am so sorry you guys for the long wait. We are finally moved into our new home and then I had to wait for the new internet cables to be installed and then the holidays hit. I'm not trying to make any excuses, but take them as they are. I'm one tired mama... Any way on with the story!

Ch 10

"Oh hey Emmett! Sure I'll play!"

Jenny rolled her eyes at Jake with a small grin.

A tall male vampire came into the room. He was broad shouldered, short curly hair that looked like it was buzzed. He had a dimpled grin.

"If you weren't a vampire, you would've been good for football or baseball..." Jenny commented on him quietly.

"Still play baseball regardless," Emmett replied back to her as he got his gaming system up ad running.

"Figures," She muttered, turning her head away from him. A pixie like woman then came in next and sat right beside her. Jenny looked to her.

"Pixie hair cut, designer clothes, though might be a bit out there on the pricing... I like it."

"Well thank you, I'm Alice! I have your room all set up whenever you're ready to see it, and I know you're going to like it! There is also a jet tub in the bathroom too," She commented to the staying visitor.

"Ooh.. Am I in a house or in a expensive hotel?" She asked sarcastically with a grin. Alice giggled and froze as she took Jenny's hand. Jenny looked to Alice.

"Hey.. Are you okay?" She asked slightly freaked out. Jake and Emmett both looked to Alice.

"Oh don't worry about that. She has visions and she freezes up when she has one, like now," Emmett explained. A blonde haired male, Jasper, Jenny noted, came into the room and stood behind Alice, placing a hand on her shoulder.

Jenny finally took him in. His hair was chin length and he had barely visible scars littering his arms. He had a certain air of a soldier around him, as his back was straight and his stance took on as one would when commanding an army.

"What is it Alice? What do you see?" He asked gently. Hearing him talk, Alice broke out of her trance with a grin, and looked to Jenny.

"We're going to be great friends and something will happen soon. You'll be upset but, everything will work out I promise!" Alice told her. Jenny raised an eyebrow, "Okay..."

"Let go to your room and get you settled in!" Alice commanded, pulling Jenny out of Jake's lap and up the stairs. Jenny looked back to see Emmett and Jasper chuckling and Jake giving her a 'I'm Sorry' look and a shrug. Jenny glared at Jake, conveying that she was not happy at him not caring that she was being whisked off by a vampire. Emmett and Jasper broke into laughter at Jake.

The pixie like vampire pulled Jenny into a bedroom that was done in soft blues with a hint of gray. A queen size bed sat in the far corner of the room with windows on the other wall, allowing the girl to look out to the forest surrounding the house. A book case built into the wall next to, what she assumed was the closet on one side and bathroom on the other, was filled to the brim with books to read, movies to watch, and journals to fill.

"This is amazing... Are you guys sure I can be here?..." Jenny muttered. Alice nodded and went to the other side of the book case, closest to the bed and opened the door. Jenny went in on her own and saw a stand in shower with a moveable shower head. Next to it was a half wall that supported a garden tub that had jets in it. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash was lined up on the counter with the sink.

"Of course you can be here!" Alice said with a soft smile. "It'll be nice to have another girl around here. One who can sleep, eat, and actually appreciate clothes!" Jenny broke and laughed.

"Just remember the sleeping part when you decide to dress me up!" Jenny remarked gently. Alice took Jenny's hand and they walked back down the stairs to have Jenny stop when she heard new voices.

"It's okay... She only wants to meet you and clear things up..." Alice told her. Jenny shook her head and put a hand over her chest.

"I.. I'm not ready... Not ready..." Jenny got out after a second and raced back into the room that was given to her. She closed the door and slid down it trying to calm herself down. Deep breath in, slowly blow it back out.

A knock came to the door.

"Who is it?" She asked quietly.

"It's Jake, hun..."

Jenny slid further away from the door and let Jake open it. He looked around and found her behind the door.

"Oh, Jenny..."

He closed the door and sat next to her and then pulled her into his lap. Jenny buried her head into the junction of his neck and shoulder and took in his scent. She calmed down after a few more minutes and looked up at him.

"I'm sorry.." She whispered to him. He shook his head at her.

"It's fine Jenny. I understand and it's my fault not hers... Could you give her a chance to drag me through the mud one last time?" He almost started on the 'puppy dog eyes'.

"Will you stay with me?" She asked him, almost expecting him to keep to her.

"Of course. I'm not asking you to be friends with her... Just hear her out, okay?"

Jenny nodded slowly. Jake stood up, holding her to his chest, carrying her bridal style. He walked them down the stairs and into the living room where everyone was sitting down or standing next to their significant other.

Jake put her down and wrapped an arm around her waist to hold her to him. Jenny noticed Seth was there with Reneesme. Such a mouthful... Jenny wondered if she would mind her calling her Ren instead.

A bronze haired man chuckled.

Jenny's eyes darted to him fully. The famous Edward Cullen... He was tall, lanky, and had an musical air to him. Piano mostly, from the looks of his fingers.

"I do play piano. Maybe I could play for you one day," Edward said gently as not to frighten the imprintee of Jacob Black. She stared at him confusingly. How did he know what she was think- Oh.. That's right... He's a mind reader.

"I try not to read anyone's thought, but at time I can't help it."

"As long as you keep them to yourself... I don't care what you read in my mind," Jenny said with a bit of a bite. Jake chuckled and gently squeezed her waist. Jenny leaned into him more. Edward nodded his head with a smirk.

Jenny steeled herself next to Jake and looked to the girl beside him.

"Bella..."
