AN: Anyone else have wedding fever waiting for that chapter? I'm itching to get it out to you!
Chapter Thirteen
It was Trooping the Colour day and Ana was both a trembling wreck and an over-enthusiastic child at her first official event at Downing Street for the High Commissioners which was to take place after the Parade.
Ana had invited her parents down to celebrate with her and they had stayed with Ana and Christian at Downing Street the night before. Grace was so thrilled, and Ana was glad to be able to have them here for the Queen's official birthday celebrations plus, she missed them now that she was living in Downing Street.
Grace had gone all out on her blue floral dress and big hat. Ana felt almost underdressed beside her in a navy and pink floral skater style dress, with a boat neckline and shoulder sleeves it fell just to her knees with a pair of navy court shoes and a light pink relatively small fascinator. Christian and Carrick wore morning suits though Ana did worry about them overheating, it was promising to be a very warm day!
They made their way to the Prime Minister's stand on foot, by walking through to the Cabinet Office and out of the centre arch. They were led to the stand closest to Downing Street by a man in full morning suit with white gloves who signalled those in the stand to rise as Ana led her family up the narrow metal steps which clanged with every step of Ana's heeled shoes. Ana was greeted by many of the commissioners while she walked to her reserved seat and she was frequently stopped in order to be greeted with a handshake, annoying when she knew she'd be having drinks at Downing Street with them all later. The Prime Minister's stand was made up of High Commissioners of the Commonwealth and their spouses and the remaining seats having been taken up by Downing Street Staff in a ballot. The fact it was called the Prime Minister's stand meant nothing in the scheme of the event though, it was no different to all the other stands with the same hard plastic folding down seats that everyone else was given the luxury of sitting on. The only real difference for Ana, was that she had one of the best views from her seat, with no worry about someone's head being in the way.
"Prime Minister." The man with the gloves smiled as he signalled her seat to her. She gave a polite nod of the head towards him in thanks.
"Pomp and ceremony." Christian sniggered as they took their seats, Ana bit her lip and hoped the white-gloved man hadn't heard. She picked up her programme of events, a glossy magazine of sorts with information pertaining to the day ahead and pretended to flick through it so as not to draw any attention to herself.
"Just like our wedding is going to be." Ana teased, she and Christian really didn't want the pomp and ceremony but they had agreed, and they understood why it was necessary.
"Gretna Green still on the cards?" He joked.
"I think it's too late for that, invitations have all gone out, my bridesmaids and flower girls dresses and yours and Elliot's suit have been purchased. My dress is almost ready. Everything is booked. The soldiers and police have been practising. Can you imagine if we pulled out now…? I think Her Majesty would have us hung drawn and quartered or at least the new permanent residents of the Tower of London. Remember, she's looking forward to it."
"We're having to sing God Save the Queen at our own wedding." Christian sniggered.
"Yes. And we have to bow to her." Ana reminded him, the fact that she was attending was a huge deal for all involved in planning the wedding, she was coming down to London from Balmoral for the morning just to attend. No one had anticipated her doing that and thought a lower royal would have been sent in her place. Ana was really proud of the fact The Queen was coming though.
"I am declaring my republicanism." Christian laughed earning a scowl from Grace who overheard. Ana hadn't yet told Grace that the Queen was coming to the wedding, she feared Grace would faint on finding out with how much of a Royalist she was.
Ana loved knowing that many of the soldiers on parade here today would be the same soldiers who would be involved in her wedding. She wasn't having the full ceremony like a royal wedding, but her wedding car would be flanked by soldiers on foot with them lining the route from the cenotaph down to Westminster Abbey. They had used plans from Margaret Thatcher's funeral along with the royal weddings gone by to determine how state-like her wedding would be and it was far more than anything Ana and Christian had anticipated. As The Mirror newspaper had politely pointed out, Ana and Christian were being given protocols for their wedding that weren't even used for lower Royal family members. The Sun, the rag that it was, had been calling for Ana and Christian to be given royal titles, especially on discovering that Ana may have been a descendant of Charles the second through an illegitimate child that history forever debated. Ana had laughed at this, it had been another unwanted connection to the late Princess Diana, also believed to be a descendant of Charles the second through illegitimacy but that was where the similarity ended. Diana's ancestor had been one of nobility while Ana's was a mere commoner. But it had definitely cemented Ana's position in the country as a political princess, which was how she was seen by many and the anticipation for the wedding bore much resemblance to that of Charles and Diana and William and Catherine. Wedding fever had hit the nation.
As the Royals began to arrive in their carriages Ana couldn't help but feel a little bit disappointed that she had been told she couldn't have a horse-drawn carriage for her wedding day. It was one area that had been deemed too much of a security risk and too close to a royal wedding. She instead would be leaving Downing Street in the Prime Minister's Jag, hiding her dress until she arrived at the Abbey. Then, because they had a half-hour journey to get to the wedding breakfast, they'd compromised on an open-top car where they would drive back down Whitehall again before being re-joined by the police escort to get them to the venue. It had been decided to have it away from the centre of London because of security risk to the guests.
When the Queen arrived, alone due to Phillip's retirement from duty, she was lead around the vast sand covered space and when she passed their stand, the man in the white gloves, palms up, encouraged them to stand. The national anthem God Save The Queen echoed around them as The Queen rolled on by. Ana smiled at the scene below, there was something so uniquely British about this day and it made her feel so proud to be Prime Minister of such a great nation. The gloved man turned his hands down and with a small flick of the wrist, all in the stand returned to their seats.
"Do you think she's bored yet?" Carrick asked making Ana giggle, uh-oh the Dad jokes were coming.
"Cary." Grace hissed through gritted teeth making Carrick laugh a little harder.
"I just mean she's done this every year for so many years now. It must be boring." He carried on, making Ana laugh once more. Christian was also giggling while Grace gave her husband's thigh a squeeze.
The first entertainment piece was played with the band marching while The Queen arrived at the saluting spot. Ana gazed in wonder around her, it was a privilege to be able to sit and watch this event like this. She hadn't imagined what it would be like before and here she was, in a bench that was reserved for her, front and centre.
The sea of red uniforms and black bearskin hats was an incredible feast to the eyes on the yellow sandy gravel of the Parade ground. There was an electricity in the atmosphere, music swallowed the spectators. It was incredibly warm and Ana fanned herself softly with her programme while watching the spectacle of soldiers in quick march, creating beautiful waves with their floor formations.
"How many of them will faint this year?" Carrick giggled like a naughty schoolboy.
"Dad!" Ana giggled. He was terrible!
"Let's see if we can see any of the black hats on the floor, whoever sees the first one wins." He joked. Christian had tears streaming down his face from laughing, they were making a right scene and Ana prayed the cameras wouldn't pick this up. Thankfully the music prevented them from hearing anything that was being said and the TV cameras wouldn't be in their direction but there were enough media photographers around that might capture some embarrassing stills.
"I'm torn between feeling sorry for them all in this heat and wanting to steal one of their hats to rub my face against." Ana whispered to her father, knowing he would appreciate her joke too, though she was able to keep a lot more demure about it and it wouldn't have been obvious to a photographer that she was making inappropriate comments. Until a dumbstruck Christian near choked making her bite her bottom lip and shrug her shoulders to try and hide the cheeky smirk that threatened to spill knowing the exact kind of inappropriate thought that she likely would have caused her soon-to-be husband.
"You know, there is an advantage to watching this on TV, the commentators at least tell us what is happening." Grace stated as one of the parade leaders shouted instructions at his men that were hard to decipher from such a distance. None of them knew who he was and what rank he was all of which would have been told to them had they been watching this at home on the TV.
As the march by went past in slow march they rose to their feet, a sign of respect to the soldiers on parade. Carrick shut his mouth at this point, something Ana was grateful for, it would have been extremely disrespectful for him to have made any kind of funny remark at this point. Christian was in awe, he hadn't ever really paid much attention to the Trooping The Colour event in the past, had only ever caught a glimpse of it on TV. However, he couldn't help but admire the precision in every movement, the way that those on parade moved with a gracious fluidity yet were so exact in each step.
When God Save the Queen was played for the third time, Carrick lent into Ana.
"Do you think she's bored of this song by now?" Ana pursed her lips to try and mask the giggled that consumed her. "Bet she's made up a million versions herself to keep herself entertained."
By the time they were in quick march, no fewer than five men had been carried off the parade ground on a stretcher having fainted in the sweltering heat of the day. Ana was glad that she had a change of dress waiting for her at Downing Street because she was swimming in sweat. There was an increase in the atmosphere now and most of the spectators were tapping their feet along to the upbeat music that was echoing around the square as they moved.
When the mounted band began to play and the mounted cavalry did their march past, Ana knew it was almost over and while she'd truly enjoyed her first in-person Trooping The Colour, after nearly two hours in the sweltering heat she was ready for it to be over.
The horses of course were one of her favourite moments. As a child growing up in Buckinghamshire she had been a pony club girl taking part in gymkhana and they'd kept a horse for many years. Ana hadn't ridden properly since she was about twenty years old though and she would have given anything to be on the back of a horse once again.
The Kings Troop was Ana's favourite though, with fifty percent of them being women, Ana felt like the other branches of the armed forces could learn a lot from them. They all admired the control and elegance of both horses and riders, though Carrick was quietly disappointed they were all being so well behaved.
They had to wait at the end of the ceremony for The Queen to leave but then Ana, Christian and her parents were the first to be escorted from their seats. She needed to go back to Downing Street to be ready to greet the High Commissioners when they would be shown in. She would spend the rest of the day eating, drinking and mingling.
"Good afternoon Prime Minister." Ana was greeted when she walked through the door of Downing Street.
"Good afternoon." She replied, a glass of water was shoved in her direction which she immediately took in her hand.
"We don't want you fainting on us." The young secretary laughed at Ana's surprise. She smiled, it had been very hot out there and a refreshing glass of water was just what she needed before the Commissioners began to arrive. Taking a long sip, she took pleasure in the crisp liquid running down her throat. Christian and her parents were also given drinks and after finishing her glass Ana went through to the White Room to greet the High Commissioners as they arrived. With Christian by her side and the Downing Street Photographer in place, Hugo did the announcements, so Ana knew who they were when they were shown in. She shook hands and smiled at everyone, thanking them for coming and all the official stuff. By the time she was done it was time to go out to the garden to see the Fly Past.
It was a jubilant atmosphere and Christian seemed to come into his own as he was engaged by many of the officials. Ana would meet his eyes from across the room where she too was engaging in political conversations with some and wedding chatter with many of the guests. Grace and Carrick also seemed to be making friends and would chat away happily, a lot more comfortable with everything than Ana had anticipated. They ate and drank happily and thankfully as night fell everyone started to leave, other than Ana's parents who were staying in the guest room.
Back in the Downing Street Apartment Ana and Christian retired to bed at the same time as Ana's parents. Christian seductively helped her out of her dress, making Ana groan, his fingers drew along her skin leaving goosebumps in their wake.
"Watching you be in charge in a room like that, turns me right on." Christian explained as he dropped her dress to the floor and went to unclip her bra. "You were the most powerful person in that room, yet when we come together like this, you let all that go." He moved to her knickers, pulling them down her legs, she'd already removed her shoes in the living room. "Now, how quiet can you be is the big question?" He spun Ana around and her eyes were already downcast, immediately responding to him submissively. "Or would you rather I gagged you?"
"Whatever you would prefer Sir." Ana replied dutifully. Christian smirked, Ana didn't do being quiet very well.
"Kneel." He commanded and as Ana sunk to her knees he went over to the drawer where their toys were kept here in Downing Street.
He knew he couldn't pick anything crazy today, nothing that would drive Ana too wild because even with a gag she'd be heard. The key was to make it pleasurable but allow her to retain some control on herself.
First, he pulled out the bondage board. A leather mattress of sorts with D rings all the way around which would allow Christian to lock Ana down in various positions, it was ideal for Downing Street being that folded up and closed it just looked like a big leather briefcase. From the drawer he also took out multiple soft leather restraints so that he could connect Ana up to it. The next up was another new addition to the collection, a small penis head gag something he knew Ana would find both pleasurable and degrading. Finally, he pulled out one of his favourite toys, weighted nipple clamps which Ana was really going to feel in the position he was going to put her in.
He brought Ana over to the bondage board. After strapping up her wrists, just underneath her elbows, her ankles and just beneath her knees, he slipped the gag into her mouth and guided her onto all fours on the bondage board. Once he was happy she was in position, he went around to her front. Her blue doe eyes were sparkling, and Christian knew behind the gag she had a beaming smile. It had been a while since they'd done a scene and even though her parents were in the next bedroom he was going to make the most of it.
He lay down, his head under her breasts, she groaned as Christian started to suck at her nipples that were dangling freely for the moment. He brought them to tight nubs before attaching the clamps. Ana hummed through the pinch of the clamp being placed and gasped when gravity tugged on the weight pulling the nipple towards the ground. He did the same to the other one before giving both weights a flick.
He went around to the back end of Ana, where her perfect ass was pointing upward to the air. He spanked her a couple of times, leaving red handprints to rise on her perfect and delectable skin before he penetrated her. She bit down hard on the gag, groaning as she felt herself fill. It felt incredibly good. He wrapped his hand in her hair, pulling her head up. She was buzzing with all the sensation, the saliva running down her chin, the heavy weights pulling her tight nipples, her hair being pulled, she loved it, feeling owned by Christian.
He kept up a leisurely pace but the bouncing he was doing was causing the weights on the end of her nipples to swing back and forth causing a very painful pleasure. Ana was becoming louder as she became closer to her orgasm. Christian kept trying to shush her but it was useless, she was blissfully unaware of how loud she was being. Thankfully the gag was limiting some of the noise and so he hoped none was carrying through the walls.
He spanked her when he knew she was ready to come and it tipped her over the edge. She gripped tight at the end of the board as Christian reached round and pulled the clamps off, the blood rushing back to the nipples causing greater pleasure to rip through her body. It had her screaming behind the gag. Christian came too, spurting inside her, he released her hair allowing her head to fall forward as she panted hard. He quickly unlocked her from the restraints, removed the gag and wiped her chin. She was smiling at him, her hair gluing to her sweat filled face and he pulled her into his arms.
"That was incredible." She heaved, still catching her breath.
"You're incredible, watching you today… you'll never know what that did to me, to see you being this force in that room. You owned that room today Ana, all those men in suits were like puppy dogs wanting their five minutes from you, I was both jealous and fucking horny seeing it because I know, while they beg for your attention, you beg and crave mine, you bow to me… Ana it is fucking crazy what all this does to me." He said laying her on the bed. "Now, you rest, I'm going to clean up, I'll be just five minutes."
They couldn't leave their toys till the morning like they did at home, God only knows what could happen in the middle of the night that would mean Ana would need to get out of bed and attend to something. Once everything was wiped down and kept away Christian climbed into bed and pulled Ana into his arms. She beamed at him, feeling all the love he had for her.
"I think your parents may have heard us." Christian teased making Ana groan, she hoped not, that was one thing she never wanted to think about happening.
"It was all your fault and your sexy molestation." She quipped making him laugh loudly. He loved her sense of humour, but he rarely saw it these days with her being so overworked and tired.
"Sexy molestation eh?" He mused. "I think you need some sexy molestation more often."
"Hmm I think I might agree with that." Ana said enjoying the feel of Christian's fingers running through her hair. She gave a soft sigh, this was one time where she felt so normal, something she didn't feel a lot of lately.
"It was a nice day." Christian mused.
"Slower than usual." Ana laughed, she could be at up to fourteen meetings a day on occasion so have a full day dedicated to just one event was a welcome break.
"Just think about it, in a little over a month we'll be jetting off on honeymoon for two weeks away from all of this." Christian said, he was so excited to have Ana all to himself for the time they would be away.
"Where are we going?" Ana asked, having left that specifically to Christian. He grinned, he hadn't told Ana because he had been struggling to decide, that was until he'd had a phone call with an offer he couldn't refuse.
"Well I had an interesting phone call a few days ago, from Richard Branson of all people."
"Oh yeah?" Ana turned to look at Christian, unsure whether he was being serious or not.
"Yeah, he wanted to give us a wedding gift." Christian explained. "He asked what we were doing for a honeymoon and I said we were hoping to go the same evening, but I was still deciding where. He has offered us two weeks exclusive use of Necker Island."
"He's done what?" Ana's eyes almost fell out of her head at hearing this. Ana knew what Necker Island was and she couldn't believe her ears.
"All staff would be at our disposal for our stay, but we would have complete privacy otherwise." Christian replied. "I asked him if he was trying to persuade you not to renationalise the trains because allowing you to stay at his very own private island would not help his cause. He reassured me he wasn't and insisted it was a gift from his family for the invite to the wedding."
"How did he get on the guest list?" Ana asked, completely confused now because she didn't know he had been invited.
"I think it's something to do with the huge donation he made to your campaign. He was so desperate to see the back of Elena Lincoln he gave a huge donation to the Labour Party. There are a few celebrities coming too who also made donations."
"Oh ok." Ana replied, maybe she should read the guest list to know exactly who was coming to their wedding because she didn't have a clue.
"So anyway, that's his gift to us. So, for our honeymoon we're spending fourteen days on a private island in the Caribbean. So, secluded we don't even need security so they're all getting a break after dropping us off except Taylor." Christian explained. Ana dove into his arms feeling so excited now, the thought of having to share every moment of their honeymoon with security had been very off putting but now to hear how she would get two whole weeks with just Christian was amazing.
"I think we'll need it to just recover from the wedding." Ana teased, the day was going to be crazy and with so much pomp added in she knew it was going to be an exhausting day.
"It will be worth it, because we'll finally be married." Christian smiled before kissing her head, he loved knowing that every day he was a day closer to making Ana his wife.
"That's very true. Oh, did you have a look over the music list?" Ana asked.
"Yes. Did you contact the florist to tell her what you want?" Christian asked, there were some tasks only Ana and he could do and that was another one of them, Ana had insisted on having local businesses in Chesham to do their wedding, many of them refusing payment on the condition they could use Ana's wedding as advertising which she had agreed, she and Christian were paying for so much out of their own pocket, the only thing that the public purse would be covering was the security and the food for the delegates from other countries and that was going to be around the five million mark.
"I did, she sent me some pictures to give me an idea and I am very happy with everything." Ana replied, that was the truth, she was no florist but what the florist had shown her was perfect.
"It will all come together you know." Christian said giving her a squeeze. "But it's back to work tomorrow, so you need to sleep." He kissed her head before she snuggled down and before he'd even put the light off, she was dropping off to sleep.
