All but one of the Losers met together at Neibolt, waiting for the leader to give an order.
"Okay, when Mike ge-gets here, we'll be re-ready to fight."
Sure enough, around the corner came Mike, strapped with his stunbolt and ammo.
"Okay," Ben said, shaking his head, "now we're talking."
As Mike finally approached the group, Bill started to speak.
"Now, this isn't going to be easy for any of us."
He looked around at the group of boys, each with eyes of fear.
"But, if we all go in together, we'll have a better chance to find It…and save Bev."
As the group nodded their heads simultaneously, they all entered the house.
Off in the distance, watching them enter, sat Henry in Belch's car, his face covered in blood and cackling to himself.
"Oh, you poor souls are going off to the slaughter…am I right?"
He didn't hear anything…since both of his minions were murdered, lying down in the blood-filled backseat.
Henry got out of his car, knife in hand.
"Here I come, you little bitches…I'm killing you all and your little faggot, too."
As the six boys entered the house, Bill knew where to go.
"O-over there," he pointed to a nearby door, leading down to the basement.
"We're down in the basement?" Stan asked.
Bill didn't answer, as he only moved towards the door and opened it, entering the basement level of the house.
"Well, you heard him back outside…" Richie said as he marched over towards the basement door.
"Yeah, we sure did," Eddie responded, a look of terror in his eyes.
As the rest of the boys met Bill down in the basement, they all spotted the well.
"Okay, so now what? How are we all getting down?" Ben asked.
Glancing around the dark room, Bill spotted rope underneath the stairs.
"There," he pointed, "tether up the rope to connect to the stairs."
"Is that going to be enough though?" Mike asked.
"We'll have to see."
Wasting no time, Stan, Mike, and Ben tied one end of the rope onto the railing of the stairs.
"Alright, n-now drop the rest down here."
The three listened to Bill as they grabbed the rest of the rope and dropped it down the well.
"I'll go first," Bill said as he lowered himself down, whispering the same phrase he used to enter Neibolt the first time around.
"H-he thrusts his f-fists against the posts, and st-still insists he se-sees the ghosts."
Bill saw an entranceway about twenty feet down, and as soon as he entered, he heard a rush of water off in the distance.
"Okay, who's next?" he called up the well, hoping the others would join.
One by one, the boys came down the rope and into the entranceway; only Eddie and Mike remained.
"Alright, let's see if—"
"Come out, come out, wherever you bitches are!"
Eddie froze, afraid to make any small moves.
Mike ushered Eddie down the well, making sure the youngster had a good grip on the rope.
"I'll be fine, trust me," Mike said as he went to grab his stunbolt and ammo.
At the same time, Henry appeared at the top of the stairs, looking down at Mike with a wicked gleam in his eyes.
"Hello there, homeschool. Ready for the second round?"
Mike stood still, staring straight at Henry.
"Too bad your little worms couldn't come out to play…especially the little maggot."
Henry bolted towards Mike, knife in hand, ready to battle.
Mike sidestepped Henry and watch him almost crash into the wall.
"You're going to have to do better than that," Mike said, making a reach for his weapon.
Henry turned around and threw his knife over towards Mike, who dodged the weapon with ease. As he was bending down to get his weapon, Henry tackled him to the ground.
"Here you go," he said as he punched Mike right in the face.
"And here's another…" as he straightened out Mike's face and punched him again.
"…and another…" repeating the process.
Switching between right and left hand to punch as he knelt on Mike, Henry cackled in pure ecstasy.
Down below, Bill became restless.
"I'm going up."
"Are you playing dumb?" Ben asked.
"No, if I don't then Mi-Mike is going to e-end up dead."
Henry overheard the conversation from down below, and acting fast, he leaped off of Mike, ran towards the well, and made a grab at the rope, pulling it up.
"You going to need something to get up here!" Henry bellowed, cackling like mad as the last of the rope was pulled.
"Bowers, you got to be—"
"I'm not fucking around!"
As Bill flashed a light towards Henry, he saw the adrenaline on his face.
"I'll take care of your friend first…and then I'm coming for you all."
Mike shook his head, breathing slowly. He felt unconscious but was looking towards the well…at Henry standing over it.
'Okay, it's now or never.'
As Mike got up, he ran over towards Henry, and as the boy turned around, he was face-to-face with Mike for only a split second as he was pushed down the well.
Henry screamed as he continued to fall into the blackness.
"Mike, you okay?"
The boy shrugged off Ben's question as he went to grab his belongings before bringing the rope down and descending from it.
As the group was now in the entranceway, they trekked along, the sound of water drawing them closer and closer.
They all entered into a dark room, the only light illuminating it came from their flashlights. The rush of water fell from the right side, leading down a sewer.
"Okay, where do you think Bev is?"
"G-good question," Bill responded to Stan.
"Half and half, then we holler if we find her?" Ben said, looking up and down the sewer.
"No, that's dangerous," Eddie said, "we need to all stick together."
"Fine by me," Richie said as he started to trek down the sewer, the water rushing behind him.
The rest of the gang followed suit and close behind, waiting to see what Richie would do.
"Okay," he said as he stopped halfway down, "there are pipes that are going to run…wherever…what do you suggest?"
Everyone waited for Bill to answer.
"I say w-we stick t-together and travel wh-wherever."
"I feel like we don't have much time to wander," Stan said, "almost as though Bev is—"
"D-don't say it!"
Bill lifted his hand up, breaking off Stan from finishing his sentence.
"We'll g-go down the c-center pipe until we—"
"Uh, Bill…there's a dead end up ahead," Mike pointed out, to which Bill responded in cusses.
"F-fine! We'll g-go down the left pipe."
The group all followed the leader, hoping that there were no more dead ends around the corner.
As they came across yet another dead end, and another two options, Bill kicked some water around.
"This is shit!"
"Yeah, tell me about it," Eddie said from the back, "my mom is going to flip when she knows I've been in sewer water."
Just as all hope felt lost, Bill heard a small giggle coming from the right pipe.
"It…c-can't be?"
Bill ran towards the source of the noise, startling the others.
"Bill, wait up!" cried out Ben as the group followed their leader.
The giggling grew louder and louder with each couple of steps.
"Ge-Georgie?" Bill quizzically said, running faster than ever.
Suddenly, the giggles stopped just as Bill reached the lair of It. Glancing around, he spotted Bev floating in the air.
"There she is!" cried out Mike as the group made its way out of the pipe.
They rushed over to Bev, a majority of them clueless on how to snap her out of her current trance.
"Here, let me help," said Ben as he grabbed ahold of her feet and pulled her down towards the ground.
He looked into her eyes – lifeless, but still majestic to him.
"Bev, it's me, Ben – don't you remember?"
He shook her, trying to wake her from her deep slumber.
When that didn't work, Ben gulped and wet his lips, biting down on the bottom one.
He goes in for a small kiss, and pulling back, he heard Bev gasp – she was back to her normal self.
Right behind them, a jack-in-a-box started to wind up and play its catchy tune; all of the kids turned, expecting the unexpected.
On cue, the song ends, and a little clown popped out of the box, not startling any of the kids.
"We've seen worse shit already," Stan mumbled.
"Oh, have you?"
As Stan turned towards the source of the voice, It appeared from underneath, grabbing his legs and dragging him away.
"Guys, please, help!" Stan cried out as It laughed.
Bill and Richie ran towards Stan, grabbing his arms and tugging him away from It.
"Oh, no, no, no…" the clown said as he tugged on the legs.
As the tug-of-war continued briefly, Mike ran over, his stunbolt in hand, loaded and ready to fire.
Before he could make it over, It dropped into the floor, leaving Stan a free person.
"L-looks like you sc-scared him," Bill said turning towards Mike.
A few giggles filled the room, and Bill ran towards the source.
"Oh, Bill, come save me," a small voice cried out, and as Bill turned the corner, he was face to face with…
"Georgie!"
"Bill!"
The two embraced in a hug, Bill bending down to greet his little brother.
"It's been so lonely down here, Bill."
"I know…I'm s-sorry that I t-took so long."
"It's okay, you're here now!"
"Bill!" Eddie cried out as the group rounded the same corner, "back away."
"Guys, it's G-G-Georgie."
"How can you be possible? Don't you remember what just happened with Stan?"
Ben's question raised a good point to Bill, but the leader shook his head.
"You…you're all sa-saying that—"
"Bill," Mike said, removing the stunbolt from his possession and lending it over, "you know what you must do."
Bill looked back at Georgie, who now looked glum.
"What are you going to do?" he asked in a small whisper.
Bill looked back at Mike, at the stunbolt, then back at Georgie.
His eyes – they shined differently in a split moment.
And it was in that split moment that Bill understood what needed to be done.
Grabbing hold of the stunbolt, he approached his younger brother.
"Ge-Georgie…I love you, but you're not you."
"Wh…what do you mean?" the little boy cried out.
Bill shook his head, fresh tears escaping from his eyes.
'It's now or never.'
He lifted up the stunbolt, aimed it at Georgie's forehead.
"Goodbye," he muttered before pulling the trigger, shooting Georgie and watching the small boy collapsed on the ground.
As Bill turned his back to retrieve the stunbolt back to Mike, It appeared between him and the group, lunging up from the ground and tackling the leader.
"Oh, hello, Bill."
Bill's heart was beating a hundred times per hour, coming face-to-face with It.
As the clown opened its mouth, ready to devour, Mike ran over with the ammo he had and thwacked It near the head, causing it to turn around and look at the group.
Bill cocked back the stunbolt and landed it towards the clown's forehead, and as It turned around, he was shot by the weapon.
Blood oozed from his forehead, and as he stood up, he looked over towards the crowd.
"Let's make a deal."
As Bill rose from the ground and started to run, It grabbed him around the waist, cackling with fury.
"Bill!" the group yelled.
"Either I," It proposed, "kill all of you and feast on your fears…or I take him and leave you all be."
The group looked around, petrified at the offer.
"Leave."
They all turned towards Bill, who began to speak.
"I brought you all down here…it's only right that I die."
"You're right," Richie said, approaching It and Bill.
"I mean, we spent a good half of the summer in search for your brother, which led us into this crackhead house, down into this shitty lair…"
It looked on, offended and starting to grow mad.
"And now," the teen said, pulling out a baseball bat from the center rubble, "I'm going to kill this fucking clown."
'Go conquer your fear,' Eddie thought, nodding towards his friend.
It let go of Bill and lunged towards Richie, who swung his bat and made direct contact with his face.
Mike grabbed a nearby pipe from the rubble and ran towards It; before he could make contact, a dozen arms extended out of the clown's mouth, grabbing the pipe.
Screams echoed from the ajar mouth, alluding to his first early memory.
Stan grabbed another pipe from the rubble and ran over, slicing down on the hands.
As It turned his attention towards Stan, Richie hit him from behind, turning his head into…
"It's you!" Stan yelped as he saw the odd-looking lady replicating the head.
Stan swung at the lady, and after making direct contact, It returned.
Mike, Richie, and Stan continued their assault on the clown, until Ben joined in on the fun, grabbing a spear and stabbing It in its chest.
The head did a complete 180, revealing what looked to be the face of a mummy. As its wraps made their way around Ben's head, pulling him in, Bill grabbed chains from the ground and ran over, slicing the wraps open and freeing Ben.
Bill whipped It with the chains, and Ben hit It with the spear.
The rest of the group circled around the clown, now realizing that together, they can defeat this stupid beast.
As the head turned into a leper, Eddie froze.
'Oh, boy…'
The leper projectile vomited all over the boy, causing him to throw up in the process.
"I'm going to fucking kill you!" Eddie bellowed as he kicked the leper in the face, whose face now resembled.
"Dad?"
Bev looked at Alvin before grabbing Ben's spear, walking over to the possessed clown.
"Are you still my—"
Bev thrust the spear down the mouth, revealing It in all its glory.
Within a few seconds, It began to disintegrate, his forehead breaking apart from the rest of his body.
"Is that it?" Mike asked, seeing the clown crumble right in front of them.
"I…I think so," Richie said.
Bill turned his heels around and bolted towards where Georgie was laying down in the lair.
Overcome with grief, and relief, Bill cried, and as the rest of the group came over to comfort their dear friend, it seemed as though the bond they forged together would never be broken.
