Yeah, Maker 2 New Super Mario U's has the most boring Angry Sun, that even I could make an angrier sun. I included Tryclyde because he was also in the desert.

I decided to give that three-headed snake a personality to each head to make him more funnier. Classic Luigi could be one day, though I'm mostly focusing on Classic Mario learning those moves.

Liam McCoshi: I can master my Golden Rainbow form, and they can be mastered with the Colorful Orbs that I collect.

Yeah, it may be difficult at first, but then you'll get used to it. I thought of them fighting over power ups since they are younger than their Modern counterparts.

I gave Tryclyde's heads names so I can describe their personalities and give them more uniqueness.

[OST: New Super Mario Bros U - Desert Theme]

The Modern Bros were now in the Modern Desert, which was pretty hot like the Classic level. They were both sweating.

"It's a pretty hot level, but we can handle it." Modern Mario panted. "Come on, bro."

"Okie-Dokie…" Modern Luigi answered.

They both started running and encountered some Brick Block's that were not shining. Modern Mario stopped.

"Don't want to hurt myself like last time when I first encountered them." Modern Mario said as he jumped on a brick to reveal a Micro-Goomba.

"Good call." Modern Luigi replied as they both continued to break the blocks that had those Micro-Goombas. He hit a ? Block to reveal an Ice Flower and Tanooki Leaf. "Hey, since it's hot, why not get a cold powerup to cool things down?"

"Not a bad idea, bro." Modern Mario smiled. "But I'll handle the tanooki."

Modern Luigi fired an Ice Ball to freeze a Fire Snake that was jumping nearby them, while Modern Mario knocked away two Koopas with his Tanooki Tail. then they jumped onto some Purple Pipes where Goombas were walking around.

"Hey! It's Plopping Plumber and Scaredy Greeny!" A Goomba called. "Let's get them!"

Modern Mario dashed and knocked away some Goombas while Modern Luigi froze them with an Ice Ball. While Modern Mario was dashing, he triple jumped to fly and did a ground pound to crush some Brick Blocks and reveal a green pipe nearby.

"I struck a Pipe!" Modern Mario called as he entered it.

"That's-a-good!" Modern Luigi replied. "It's sad that I don't have a Tanooki though."

Meanwhile, inside the secret room, there was a giant P-Switch, and Modern Mario ground pounded it to reveal a lot of Coins inside. He collected them.

Back outside, the Brick Blocks were now turned into Coins. Modern Luigi wasn't too shocked, as he saw the P Switch change the Blocks into Coins many times before. He collected one of them to go through those small purple pipes.

Inside of the purple pipe, there were several Coins. He collected them quickly before they turned back into Brick Blocks, then he jumped out of there to collect two coins on another purple pipe. As the P Switch Time ran out, he also hit a Brick Block to reveal...

"Hey, a 1-UP Mushroom!" Modern Luigi cheered as he collected it and put it in his pocket. "Might need to save it for later."

Modern Mario came out of the pipe and walked to Modern Luigi, who was standing on top of the purple pipes.

"Come on, bro." Modern Mario said. "We could be nearing the end. All we need to do is get through those Piranha Plants and we'll make it out."

When they encountered some Piranha Plants, Modern Luigi used his Ice Flower to freeze one of them, while Modern Mario knocked one away with his tail. They both saw that there was Pipe there instead of a goal.

[OST stop]

"Where's the goal?" Modern Luigi asked.

"I… I think it's been replaced." Modern Mario replied. "But at the same time, something tells me that the level is longer than we thought. Still, let's-a go."

They both entered the Pipe.

The Modern Bros left the pipe and felt the temperature being hotter than it was last time.

"Mama mia! It's hotter in here!" Modern Luigi sweated. "Why is that sun so hot?! Is it angry"

They looked around to see the Angry Sun that had it's SMM2 design, which didn't have the angry look.

"It's not angry to me…" Modern Mario replied.

Suddenly, the Angry Sun grew hands and ripped off what seemed to be a mask of his SMM2 design, and his face was actually pretty angry.

[OST: Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (prototype/beta) - Knuckles theme]

"BECAUSE I AM MADE TO BURN YOU!" Angry Sun screamed. "I ALSO PUT ON THAT MASK TO TRICK YOU! NOW YOU WILL BUUUUUUURN!"

Modern Mario and Modern Luigi became terrified.

"I KNEW HE HAD A DISGUISE THAT WHOLE TIME!" Modern Mario exclaimed. "RUN!"

Both ran away very quickly as the Angry Sun swooped down, trying to burn them.

"You know, if I saw a POW Block or a Koopa Shell," Modern Mario panted. "I would've thrown them at that blasted sun!"

"Hey! What do you know." Modern Luigi sighed. "There is a POW Block right there!"

"You're right!" Modern Mario cheered as he held it. "I just gotta time it correctly and…"

Modern Mario threw the POW Block up high at the fastest speed he could.

"Oh no…" Angry Sun groaned. "NOT THE POW!"

[OST: Super Mario Maker 2 - NSMBU Desert Theme]

The POW Block hit the Angry Sun and knocked him out, changing the sky from daylight to nighttime.

"Whew…" Modern Luigi sweatdropped. "That was one hot sun, but at least it's cold now."

"Well, now things will be getting more interesting." Modern Mario continued. "Because we are near a pyramid."

He grabbed the door, and tried to open it, but failed.

"Oh no…"

"Is this "oh no" a calling for the door is locked?" Modern Luigi asked in worry.

"Yep…" Modern Mario replied. "How will we get in?!"

"Why not look at the top?" Modern Luigi questioned.

The red plumber looked up to see that there were some Brick Blocks on the top.

"Wait, there are four pillars." Modern Mario said. "Remember Shifting Sand Land? If we stand on them, we could uncover a way to enter the pyramid! Come on, bro!"

"Okie-Dokie!" Modern Luigi smiled as they both ran far away to find some pillars. He stood on one of them, and his brother did the same. Then they jumped at the same time and landed on the final pillars. "Hey! The roof is shaking!"

He was right, the roof was shaking hard before it exploded and revealed a door.

"It worked! Let's-a-go inside!" Modern Mario cheered, they both jumped from the pillars and into the inside of the pyramid.

[OST stop]

They were now sliding down before they crashed into some stones, the stones shook before they broke into the shape of a hand.

"Um… is this-" Modern Mario tried to ask before the rock spoke in a loud tone.

"WHO WALK HERE AND BREAK SEAL?!"

"W-we did?..." Modern Luigi whimpered. "AGH! EYEROK!"

"YOU BRING LIGHT?! YOU BREAK SEAL?!" The hand screamed. "EYEROK… MAAAAAAAAAAD!"

[OST: Super Mario 64 - Boss Battle]

"Oh no, we enraged it, we enraged it!" Modern Mario panicked. "Don't worry, Luigi. At least we remember this boss battle, so all we need to do is hurt its eyes when they are open."

The giant hand slammed his fist to cause a shockwave, which surprised the Modern Bros both.

"JUMP!" Modern Mario ordered as they both jumped, he ran to Eyerok and punched one of it's eyes. Modern Luigi ran to the other eye and kicked it.

"MY EYE!" Eyerok exclaimed. "NO ONE HURT EYE! PREPARE FIRE!"

The eyes started to form some fireballs that flew into the bros direction.

"Good thing I have my Ice Flower!" Modern Luigi yelled in panic as he fired an Ice Ball to freeze the fireball, he then whispered to his older brother. "Mario, use your tanooki tail! I'll freeze the other eye."

"Gotcha." Modern Mario whispered back before he grabbed a newspaper for him and Modern Luigi to hold. "Eyerok! I got some Red Egg Eye newspapers for you both."

The hands slowly approached them both to see the newspaper.

"A-and here is the news flash!" Modern Luigi replied. "You get a free surprise!"

"WHAT PRIZE THEY GIVE EYEROK?" Eyerok asked.

"A free… Smash in the eye!" Modern Mario retorted as he knocked the eye with his tail, and Modern Luigi threw an Ice Ball at the other hand's eye. Both hands yelled in pain before their pupils turned into an angry level of red.

"ALRIGHT! EYEROK TAKE EASY AWAY!" Eyerok yelled. "NOW ADD BEAM OF HARD!"

Both eyes charged up a blue energy in their eyes before it fired one big laser beam that shook the area and knocked the plumber brothers away, which caused them to lose their powers.

"L-Luigi…" Modern Mario groaned. "Are you o-"

He saw that his brother was not there anymore.

"Luigi?!"

"BRO! THEY'VE GOT ME!" Modern Luigi panicked.

"PLUMBER HAVE GOOD TASTE!" Eyerok laughed. "WE DESTROY GREEN FACE!"

"It's L-Luigi!" Modern Luigi shuddered.

"Hey, Eye Hands!" Modern Mario yelled. "NO ONE THREATENS MY BROTHER ON MY WATCH!"

The red plumber ran before doing a Super Jump Punch at one of the eyes so it could let go of his brother. The other hand tried to attack before Modern Mario kicked it's eye and knocked it down, ending the battle.

[OST stop]

"Mario." Modern Luigi sighed in relief. "Thank you!"

"Anything for the brother that saved me from King Boo." Modern Mario smiled. "Now, Eyerok. What did we learn today about Luigi?"

"NO THREATEN GREEN."

"And what else?" Modern Luigi replied.

"CALL GREEN, LINGWEENIE?" Eyerok asked. "I MEAN, LUIGI?"

"Yep!"

Eyerok let out a long sigh.

"YOU BOTH STRONG AGAIN. YOU BOTH POWERFUL!" Eyerok sighed. "YOU RULE PYRAMID, SO TAKE STAR, AS WE SLEEP DARKNESS…"

Eyerok poofed away as a Power Star came out.

"That wasn't too bad." Modern Mario said. "But it is starting to increase the difficulty. Thankfully, we can all get through this like we used to."

"It's like it's part of our job." Modern Luigi replied as they both grabbed the Star.

[OST: Super Mario Galaxy 2 - Star Get!]

You got a Power Star

"Oh, yeah!"

[OST stop]

They both walked outside before they saw their Classic counterparts running in panic.

"An air attack is coming!" Classic Mario exclaimed. "It's coming to the Desert!"

"What do you mean?" Modern Luigi asked before he saw some airships fly in the sky with a giant spaceship following.

"That spaceship looks awfully familiar." Modern Mario said. "But no time about that! We need to find a way to get there, as they are too high for us to catch the chains!"

"Well, thankfully, I can help!" A voice called, and they looked around to see an Orange Toad with goggles and a pilot hat. "Call me, Flying Toad."

"Nice to meet you!" Modern Mario replied.

"As a thank you for saving us from the really Angry Sun," Flying Toad continued. "We will give you a Sky Pop! It has four seats, with one of them having a wheel for a pilot. It also has a cannonball blaster to defeat your enemies"

"I remember those!" Classic Mario smiled. "They're so cool!"

"Since we are being invaded by those airships," Modern Mario said. "We could use these to stop those airships from attacking!"

"Great idea!" Modern Luigi smiled. "How much is it?"

"Nothing." Flying Toad replied. "It's free since you guys saved us from that sun."

[OST: Super Smash Bros Ultimate - SMB3 Final Battle]

Suddenly, a cannonball crashed nearby them, but it thankfully didn't hit the Sky Pop.

"Use it to your advantage!" Flying Toad exclaimed. "We need to take cover, stat!"

Flying Toad ran off to take cover.

"Quick! Get in!" Classic Mario exclaimed. "You know I can't wait for lazy people."

They listened as they jumped into the Sky Pop. Modern Mario turned it on and the engine started running.

"All systems are okie-dokie okay!" Modern Mario ordered. "Let's-a take flight!"

The Sky Pop began to take off into the sky to fly towards the airships and that giant spaceship as well. Inside the spaceship, an evil purple alien was watching them head for the airships.

[OST stop]

"Yes…" The alien smirked. "Come towards my airships and spaceship, and prepare for your loss."

The alien started to cackle with an evil loud voice, hoping those plumbers would fail.

We've got a cliffhanger, and a purple alien! What could that alien be? FInd out in the next chapter!

A little note from me: This might be the last chapter for this year. But don't you worry, I'll still be writing this story in 2021.
