"It's Tye's birthday today," Baron said.
"I know," Xylia said.
"I need a shower before we leave," he said.

He walked to the bathroom and closed the door. She heard the water start. She walked to his room and looked inside. Still painted blue like he wanted as a child. They had both grown up in this house but only one had been treated like the child of their parents while the other had been treated like shit.

"I hate this place," she said lowly.

She stepped inside his room and took a look around. She ran her fingers over the clothes he had chosen to wear for the birthday. Always the well dressed man while she preferred jeans and a tank top. She didn't like dressing up for anyone. She stayed in his room a couple of minutes and then went back to her own room. She left the door open, well knowing he would come and say goodbye. That happened 15 minutes later.

"We're leaving," he said.

She looked up from her book. She wasn't invited to Tye's birthday. After she beat up Peyton at their party, their cousin Tye had uninvited her. She was no longer welcome in his home. She didn't care. She would rather stay at home. After one long week of Baron constantly watching over her like a hawk and not seeing Roman, she needed some space.

"It's your own fault," he said. "You beat up his girlfriend."
"She had it coming," she said.
"God, I hate you sometimes," he said.
"Only sometimes?" She asked. "That's a fucking understatement."

He grinned at her. They both knew she was right. He had never cared about her.

"Baron!" Their father called.
"Coming, dad!" Baron yelled back.

He looked at his sister and smirked.

"Have fun," he said.
"You too," she said.

She turned her face back to her book. He left her room and walked through the house. As soon as she heard the front door close, she let out a deep sigh she had held within. She leaned back in her chair and closed her eyes. Silence had never felt so good before.

She sat there for minutes and enjoyed it. She heard the front door open again, and she opened her eyes. Someone was running through the house. She got up from the chair and reached for her gun in case she needed to fight. To her surprise Roman came running into her room. They stared at each other for a few seconds before running towards each other at the same time. He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her.

"What are you doing here?" She asked.
"Kidnapping you again," he answered. "This time for good."
"You're crazy," she said.
"I know," he laughed. "I found your SIM card in the cup holder in my car. I know why you did it. It makes sense. But I couldn't let you be. I figured it out. Every little thing you tried to tell me about Baron, Dolph and Drew. I finally understand it all, and it fucking breaks my heart to leave you here. I won't. I refuse. You're coming with me. I got everything figured out. I went to my cousin and she had a house I could rent in Florida. That's where I've been staying. Please, come with me."

He placed his hands on her cheeks and stroked them with his thumbs.

"Please, kitten," he said. "Let me help you feel alive again. Let me love you the way you deserve."

She smiled and nodded. He couldn't help but smile back. He pressed his lips against hers again.

"Alright, let's pack," he said.
"How did you know they would leave today?" She asked.
"I was invited for the birthday," he smirked. "So I stayed close and waited for them to leave."
"I love you," she laughed.

He pulled her in for another kiss.

"I love you too, kitten," he said. "Alright, kissing can wait until we're out of here. We need to move fast."

She went over to her closet and started pulling her clothes out. She threw everything on the bed while he ran through the house to find bags to pack everything in. He found some suitcases in her parents' bedroom and grabbed those. He ran back to her room and they started packing her clothes together.

"I knew it," Baron said.

Both Roman and Xylia turned to face Baron. Baron was fast behind Roman with his gun placed at Roman's temple. Xylia pulled her own gun and aimed it at Baron.

"Go ahead. Take the shot. You'll hit him," Baron said.
"Maybe, maybe not," Xylia said.
"I got my gun pointed right at his head. Take me down and I'm taking him with me," Baron said.
"Xylia, lower the gun. It's okay," Roman said.
"No, it's not!" Xylia growled.

Xylia bared her teeth in anger. She had held on to all this anger and sadness for as long as she could remember. She didn't want it anymore.

"Do you know how I start every morning?" Xylia asked.
"No, and I don't give a fuck either," Baron answered.
"I walk to that mirror," Xylia pointed at the mirror on the wall. "And I put my gun to my head. I tell myself to pull the trigger. Just pull the fucking trigger and it'll all be over with. No more you, no more torture, no more rape, no more beating, no more of all this shit."
"Dramatic bitch," Baron said.
"But Roman is different. He makes me want to live. He makes me smile. I knew he'd come here today. I knew he wouldn't be able to let me go despite telling him to. Because he fucking loves me, Baron. Roman loves me," Xylia said.

Baron smirked behind Roman. It didn't matter how they felt about each other. Roman had shown Baron that his loyalty was with Xylia and not Baron. For that Roman had to be punished.

"I knew he would come too," Baron said. "So much for being basic and transparent. He's worse than me. This idiot has a fucking soft heart, and for some reason he's placed it in your hands. Because of you, he'll die."
"You're wrong," Xylia said. "Because of me, he'll live. We both will. You will die."
"Bitch, I got a gun pointing at his fucking skull!" Baron yelled.
"Did you check your gun after your shower?" Xylia asked.

Baron blinked a couple of times while he tried figuring out what that question meant. He had no idea Xylia had been in his room while he showered.

"I removed the bullets," Xylia said.

Baron pulled the trigger but nothing happened except for a clicking sound. Roman threw his elbow back as fast as he could. They both heard the loud crack from Baron's nose. That didn't stop Roman though. He spun around and jumped on Baron, beating down the man until they were both down on the floor.

"Hey!" Xylia's voice broke through.

They both looked up to see Xylia standing with her gun pointed at Baron. Roman quickly moved away while Baron remained in the position. He looked scared for the first time in his life.

"Xylia, I'm your brother," Baron tried.
"You don't get to play the family card," Roman said.
"Don't listen to him. Blood is thicker than water," Baron said.
"I realized something this week after I came home from the cabin," Xylia said. "Not only did I know Roman would show up at one point, but I also knew that the reason I have never been able to pull the trigger is because the bullet isn't meant for me. It's meant for you."

Xylia pulled the trigger and left a hole in Baron forehead. Her brother was gone. Roman moved in behind her. She turned around and wrapped her arms around him. She cried into his shirt while he held her.

"It's okay," he said. "I got you."
"Don't leave me," she said.
"Never," he said. "You and me, kitten. We're the real deal. It's forever. You can't get rid of me now."
"Jerk," she said.
"I'm trying so hard not to make that joke right now," he chuckled.
"Later," she chuckled too. "You never did put me over your knee."
"If that's what you want once we get to Florida, I'll be happy to do it," he said.

She tilted her head up and grinned at him. He grinned back before leaning down to kiss her.

"Will they be able to track us in Florida?" She asked.
"No, the house is in my cousin's name. I explained everything to her. She's not a Reigns. Her surname is Snuka. They'll never find the connection," he said.
"Any other Reigns members in danger around here?" She asked.
"No one else lives in this state," he answered.
"Good," she said.

She looked over at her brother's corpse and nodded.

"Dad is gonna fucking lose it when they get home. I just destroyed his so called legacy," she said.
"He had it coming. They all did," he said. "Ready to go?"
"Yes, get me the fuck out of here," she said.

They grabbed the suitcases and carried them out to his car. They both got into the car. She looked back at the house where she had lived her entire life. He let her have a moment to say goodbye in silence. She turned her eyes to him and nodded. He smiled at her and started the engine.

"Florida, here we come," he said. "You're gonna be such a beach lover, aren't you? Just a kitten rolling around in the sand."
"Will that make you horny?" She asked jokingly.
"Just looking at you makes me horny," he smirked.
"It's a long drive to Florida," she said.

She placed her hand on his thigh and gave it a squeeze.

"Evil temptress!" He growled.
"You're the one who wanted me to come along," she said.
"No regrets," he grinned. "I might have the most painful boner once we arrive but I'll make sure you'll feel it for hours once I get you inside the house."

She moved her hand up to his dick and gave it a light squeeze.

"That better be a promise, mister big talker," she said.
"Oh, it is," he smirked. "You'll see. Gotta play with my kitten and make her purr all night long."
