Chapter Eleven: Ending
Nessie's POV
My life got better after that. I was determined to help Kinley, but my aunt Rose ended up adopting her, even though she was already ten years old. We ended up having to tell her everything, but she decided to stay with us anyways. That was when I knew I truly had a sister.
Jake and I got really close, and about three years after I basically stopped aging, we got married. I let my aunt Alice go crazy planning it, and it had to be about the prettiest wedding anyone ever had. Kinley was my maid of honor.
I moved with Jake to a house in La Push right on the beach. After another year, I had a daughter that we named Laura Isabella and then after another two years we had a son named Ben Jacob.
I stepped out of the car and carefully lifted Ben out of his carseat. Laura hopped out of the other side, the two-year-old running past Jake at full speed. Her little brother could phase since he was born, so he watched her running inside and phased right in my arms. His fur was pure white and he had dark eyes.
"Ben, get back here!" I shouted, running to the door of my parent's house. My mom opened the door and picked up Laura, smiling. We visited them every weekend because my mom liked to spend time with Ben and Laura.
"Hi, grandma," says Laura, giving her a hug. I scoop up the tiny wolf puppy and hand him to Jake. We usually left the kids at their grandparent's house for the weekend, because neither of them slept for some reason, like vampires, which meant Jake and I hardly slept either. My mom puts Laura down and takes Ben.
"We should get going," I say, bending down to give Laura a hug and scratching Ben on the head because he still wouldn't phase back. Jake gives Laura a hug, too, and pets Ben.
"Bye, Laura, bye Ben," I say. Jake starts for the car and I turn to follow him.
"Nessie?" I hear my mom say. I turn around. Ben must have phased back when I had my back turned; I was pretty sure he could control it by now.
"Yeah, Mom?"
"I love you, see you on Monday," she says.
"I love you, too, Mom," I say, and turn to get into the car.
