At the ruins of the stark industry building

Peter had to admit compared to most of the bad guys he face. None of them made hims felt what it was like to be roasted alive for eleven minutes straight and any longer he likely would be over-done. Because as the web hero soon find out to his dread. The Goblin was just as if not much dangerous in close combat as he was at ranged.

The fire fiend was relentless in his strikes as he continued to not only swipe his flaming sword at the jumping Web-Slinger but also launched waves of fire and heat from that burn through the remaining ruins of the building and into the earth itself.

Parker however was able to dodge the swings easy with his enchanted reflexes and spider-sense. But that is all he could do. As the ranged of the Goblin's attacks made it nigh impossible to get in close. Even when using his metal webbing to create a shield to force himself through the flames. The Goblin merely used his sword to cut right through it and nearly Spidey himself in the process before latter either punch or kick his foe away.

It was time for a new strategy.

Peter then sent a mental command in his suit. To refigure his metal webbing and a few seconds later both of his arms were covered in multiple layers of web shielding.

The Goblin then laugh at the display. 'Oh well that is rich. Knowing your webs can't do squat against me. So now you think making more would change anything?'

The goblin then chuckle some more.

'But then again it just means that is all you are capable of when against something like me!' the fiend mocked before swinging his sword at spider-man one again. Who then raised both of this shield arms. Yet while the heat from the blade was able to cut through one of the layers it was having trouble trying to burn through the ones underneath. Much to the goblins shock and frustration.

'Yeah well you know the old saying that one guy or girl said that may or not be made up on the spot' Spidey quip as run towards the goblin causing the villain to swip his sword at spider-man but the hero blocked it with his right metal shield even as the weapon began to slowly cut through it.

'When all you have is a web' spider-man continued to quip. While discarding the cut metal layer from his right arm. While the goblin In frustration continued to swing his sword at the Web-head. Yet regardless of how well time and his strikes were the Web-head's superior reflexes and spider-sense kept the Goblin from landing a solid hit. Even as more of the metal layers that made up his arm shield keep getting cut through. 'You impervis.

Eventually getting fed up with this blade blocking game. The goblin then put all his might into his next swing and to his satisfaction managed to cut through two shield layer's instead of one…which Peter was hopping for. Before the goblin could even react the webbing suddenly cling hold over the handle of his sword and with a tug spider-man throw the blade away into the air. Leaving the villain disarmed.

From then the two adversaries and engaged in hand to hand combat. With the villain showing surprising amount of technique and form in his fighting style with the later blocking and countering the webs-lingers blow to blow and the strength to match.

But for all the Goblin's strength, skill and technique. Peter was still stronger, more skilled and what he lacked in technique he made up for in experience. Having already beaten down that foes that out class him in all the above and more and so without even needing his spider-sense the web-head was able was to see through a hole in the goblin's defense and kicked him into the stomach. Sending the fiend flying a few feet into the air before crashing and rolling down onto the ground.

When the flaming fiend got himself back up he saw Spider-Man slowly walking to him. His suit covered in ash and sporting few burn marks. But otherwise the young avenger was find and ready and for more.

Much to the Goblin's frustration…and in relief.

'So Mr. fire and doom are you ready to turn yourself in by surrendering or do you want me to web you up all nice and neat.' Spidey joked before using using a whispered jesters. 'Through if you really want to make this easier for both us. I suggest just turn yourself in. So what is your answer?'

Goblin then look at for a bit before laughing again. Only this time it was bitter, cold and shameful. 'Oh Spider-Man…you act as if I had a choice to surrender to begin with!'

Parker then paused at hearing that.

'Wait what are you-' then right before Peter could even finished his sentence. The goblin let out massive blast of fire from his mouth forcing the desperate Hero to create a huge several layered web shield. Yet even when Spider-Man held it up the goblin continued to breath out the fire. The blast of flames circling around Spidey slowly but steady melting through his shield layers.

Peter in turn continued rapidly to pour more of his metal webbing into the layers. However he was quickly running out and feared that if the shield broke through. Even his advance suite would not protect from being literally friend alive as a baked spider.

With little to no options. Spider-Man then used a mental command to search for the one gadget that turn this entire situation around

The ice cube. A portal nicotine cub that freezes anything it comes in contact at below 250 degrees fargheight.

It was one he had been working on for weeks and even now peter had not worked all the kinks out of yet. But given the circumstances . Worrying about that now should be the last thing he should be thinking.

However right before the desperate Spider could toss the cub overhead and into his fiery foe. The goblin was then blind sided by a pulsor blast.

At first Peter thought it was either Pepper coming back to save or Rhody with his war machine armor…but no it was someone else completely different or rather someone he thought was dead.

'Mr…Stark?' Peter question as he stared wide eyed at the hero before him. He was dressed in an iron-man power suite in the same style of Tony only far more robust with a slick sliver outline and when he gently landed on the ground music began to play.

Another one bits the dust by Queen

The goblin then look at the iron-man hero himself and was jaw struck just as much as his enemy.

'Who the fuck are you?!' the goblin Stuttered having completed broken out the character as a card carrying villain. While the the armed hero merely raised raised both of his arms.

'Only your worst nightmare' the man said in a causal matter with metallic yet high pitch voice. That none the less held same snarkiness and wit of the late Tony Stark.

The armored hero then fire mini missiles from his wrists as they hit the goblin dead on and pummeled him further to the earth. But even then the villain still had a measure of strength.

'Oh screw this !'the villain huffed in annoyance as he then gesture his glider to come to him. Which the goblin jump on and proceed to fly away up into the sky.

'Oh now were you think your heading off?' the armored man said as he then flew towards the goblin to capture him. The fiend responded by through several pumpkin bombs at him. But the armed hero then summon five mini drones from the red highlight plats of his armor who then proceed to shoot down the bombs as they exploded harmlessly into the sky.

The Iron-man look alike then flew through the smoke by using both of the repulses in his hands. Allowing him get in front of the Goblin and tackled him into the air and back to the ruin site of the Stark building.

'All right now that we have you grounded mr. glow and doom let's find out who you…!?' The armored man said only to realize that the glow and fire within the Goblin's body and eyes were gone. Along with the villain remaining deathly still.

At first the man thought he killed the goblin but upon using his metal hand to touch the fiend's face it immediately crumbled to dust before fading away into ashes. Puzzled the armored man then looked around to see were the goblin was hiding. But even with his scanners he still couldn't find him.

The Goblin however was still on his glider. Now hiding behind a ruin wall. cloaked with an invisible suite that hid from both sight and made immune to sensory detection. When he saw that the armored hero wasn't able find him. The criminal sigh in relief before grabbing a small black camera box from his pocket and open a black portal gate behind him. From which the villain then slowly flew backwards into the gate and after doing so the portal closed out of sight.

Realizing that his target is gone the new hero then looked to Spider-Man who was awestruck by what he saw. .

'…Ah so good to see you Pete' the armored man spoke to the spider and Parker as if on reflex mentally command his nanti mask to pull away his mask. Revealing his sweet and bruised face.

'Uhh… sorry but do I know you?' Peter asked uneasy at the person wearing his mentor's armor and upon hearing that question the man in the suit step back in a mock gesture of being offended.

'Oh come now Pete surly you know me. After all we did had the same mentor and went to his funeral. The lest you could do is remember my name.' The man said. Causing Parker to ponder in thought and then after a few moments a realization hit him.

'…Harley?'

The armored man then smirk behind his helmet before flipping it open. Revealing an older but non the less young Caucasian man with brown hair and eyes much like Parker. Expect his expression swelled with ego and pride.

'Good to see again Peter Parker'
