The orange sunset perfectly complimented his costume.

He just stood there, silently, a rare, gentle smile on his face. His eyes looked just like the setting sun, red and warm...

"...ko..."

A sudden breeze blew from the side, lifting the petals from the wild flowers in the vast green meadow. He slowly outstretched his hand, his bangs dancing back and forth in front of his eyes.

"...miko..."

She reached her hand out for him. Slowly, so slowly, she got closer. Her hands were only centimeters from his. He waited patiently for her to put her hand on his. Her silver eyes met those beautiful red hues. Completely losing herself in them, her hands drew closer, and c-

"KAMIKO!"

"Huh?!" Kamiko flinched. She tilted her body and looked past her easel at Akemi, who was staring at her with a brow raised in suspicion.

"I've been calling you for a while now. What are you spacing out for? Can you pass me the red paint?" her pink haired friend demanded.

"O-Oh! Sorry. Here!" Kamiko fumbled for the red tube of acrylic paint and tossed it at her friend. Akemi caught the paint with both hands, but continued to stare at Kamiko with eyes full of curiosity. She squeezed some of the red onto her palette, and decided to personally walk over to return the paint to the box behind Kamiko.

Akemi took this chance to peek at what Kamiko was doing, to see her spaced out as she brushed her sketch pencil over her sketchpad. Wait... "Didn't you say you were gonna draw a scenery? Why did you draw a portrait? And is that Ground Zero?!" Akemi asked.

"What?" Kamiko looked up at her friend in confusion, then looked back at her sketch. "HOLY FU-" She gasped when she saw what she had on her paper. It wasn't a meadow, it sure wasn't. "I-..." She was speechless when she came face to face with Bakugou. His lips slightly stretched, tilting upwards at the corners, and his eyes were soft. His spiky bangs fell perfectly over his forehead, and his hand gently outstretched.

"I've never scene Ground Zero make this kind of face before. Wow! Like how do I describe this... You made him look so gentle and soft, which is really weird, but for some reason it doesn't look unnatural. Is it weird that I find him kind of sexy in this portrait of yours?" Akemi asked.

Some of their other friends overheard Akemi's comment and rushed over to check out Kamiko's art. "Lemme see! Lemme see!" The college juniors crowded around the silver haired woman's easel, checking out the sketch of a certain blonde hero.

"Whoa! This is so good!" Fumika exclaimed.

"I thought you guys didn't get along," said Akemi.

"What's going on? I smell drama!" asked another one of their classmates. Akemi told them about the time she and Kamiko saw Ground Zero and Red Riot about two months ago, and how Ground Zero seemed to be pretty violent around Kamiko.

"Oh yeah! I thought Miko got in trouble 'cause Ground Zero kept picking her up from school a while ago!" said Yoshitaka.

"See this is why you're always single! You can't even read the atmosphere! Ground Zero came to pick Miko-chan up obviously because they're dating!" Fumika said.

"WE'RE NOT!" Kamiko quickly exclaimed. "We're just friends! I-I- I've known him since high school and we're really just friends-"

"Ahh! You're blushing! I knew it!" Fumika pointed out. Kamiko quickly put her hands over her reddened cheeks, feeling its temperature. It did feel a little warm to the touch. "Spill the beans. When did it start?"

"I told you I'm not dating him!" Kamiko frowned as she defended herself.

"Suuurrreee, but since when did you start liking him? You see him a lot don't you?" Akemi leaned on Kamiko's shoulder, sticking her smirk in front of Kamiko's flustered face.

"I-I don't like him! I mean sure I think he's pretty hot but I don't like him like that!" Kamiko denied as she started laughing nervously.

Fumika wiggled her eyebrows at Kamiko. "Oh really?! I don't buy it. I mean you're already drawing him subconsciously! Admit it, you're in love!"

"I AM NOT!"

Meanwhile Kaminari just returned to the office from his morning patrol. He took off his black jacket, hung it on the clothes rack and grabbed the nearest thing on Bakugou's desk and started fanning himself. "Why is this thing so thick?" he wondered after two seconds of fanning. He then looked down to see he was holding a book, and not just any book. "A manga?" He flippes the manga over to take a look at the cover, and he nearly choked on his spit when he saw two boys on the cover, one holding the other by the chin, their face suggestively close. The entire tone of the cover picture was all pink and orange, and the title literally said 'Just a Kiss.' Holy fuckamoly! Th-This is Bakugou's?! He likes to read this kind of stuff?!

"Huh? Idiot why are you back so early?"

Bakugou's voice startled the electricity man as he slammed the book back down on Bakugou's desk shouting, "N-N-NOTHING!"

"What?" Bakugou narrowed his eyes at Kaminari, brows knitted with confusion.

"I-I mean I'm back because I finished patrolling! Hahaha... I'm hungry! I came back for lunch! Can I have one of the popsicles in lounge fridge? I really need to cool down from the heat! Phew it's hot!" Kaminari fanned himself with his hand as he headed for the lounge. Bakugou raised a brow. What's up with him?

Kaminari held his breath all the way to the fridge. He grabbed one of the pineapple flavored popsicles Inazumari bought to fill the freezer with. He unpacked the popsicle and shoved it in his mouth to calm himself down. Holy shit! Oh my go- Bakugou likes- No... Calm down. There's no proof that it's Bakugou's. For all we know it could be Iki-san's and she just left it there. There's no way Bakugou actually reads- Just as he was thinking, Kaminari headed back to the joint office and there he saw Bakugou sitting on his desk, READING THE BL MANGA! GAAAASSSPPP! Kaminari nearly dropped his popsicle.

"What's your problem?" Bakugou demanded, glaring at the electric blonde when he heard the gasping noise.

"N-Nothing!" Kaminari violently shook his head. Bakugou just rolled his eyes and went back to reading. Oh my god! Oh my god! I knew it! He must have spent too long with Iki-san! Now she completely converted him to a fudanshi! OH MY GOD! W-What if Bakugou starts swinging that way? What if he falls in love with me? What if- His eyes widened when he saw Bakugou seductively run his hands through his hair, his red eyes boring into his golden ones invitingly as he licked his lips. Kaminari put his hands in front of his chest defensively, fearing that Bakugou would pounce on him any moment. When really Bakugou just scratched the side of his head and licked his dry and chapped lips for moisture. He didn't even look up at Kaminari.

Bakugou had finished the first book of 'Just a Kiss' yesterday in one sitting. The story was unexpectedly more complex than he thought. The two main characters are high schoolers from two different schools, with one being an extroverted, cheerful teenager named Takumi who is really popular among his friends at school and dates pretty girls to hide the fact that he's actually gay. The other is a calm, dark, and introverted boy named Kuusuke who is constantly bullied by his classmates for being creepy. The introverted boy's mother has cancer, and his father works three jobs to pay her medical bills, and he has to work two part time jobs as well to take care of himself and his little siblings.

In the first book, the two main character met at one of the introverted boy's part time jobs, a cafe, where the extroverted boy immediately fell in love with the introverted boy. However, he was too afraid to ask the boy out, so instead he kept going to the cafe, and attempted to make friends with the introverted boy. The portrayal of high school bullying and self denial is really realistic, and even the side characters often go through really relatable issues in their life, so that not only people who are homosexual or bullied can relate, but everyone who reads the manga can find a part that they relate to.

Bakugou couldn't care less about whether the two main leads get together or whatever, but he does want to know whether the introverted guy's mom gets better. And he had to admit, seeing the extroverted teen go to the introverted teen's house almost every day to help take care of his little siblings was really heart warming, but overall Bakugou cared more about the side plot than the romance.

"Hey guys! Oh man you should have seen me today! There was this bag snatcher and I-" Kirishima walked into the office ecstatically, and quickly he was cut off by Kaminari.

"SSHHHH!" Kaminari shushed the red haired hero.

"Something wrong? Is he in a bad mood?" Kirishima whispered.

"Look what he's reading!" Kaminari whisper yelled at Kirishima, pointing to the manga in Bakugou's hand. He flipped the page every few fifteen or so seconds.

"What about it?" asked Kirishima.

"BL! Bakugou is reading BL! He's been converted by Iki-san!" Kaminari said with horror on his face. "And I think he's fallen for me!"

Confusion and bewilderment were written all over Kirishima's face. "What?!"

"The fuck are you two yapping about?" Bakugou put down his manga and walked over to his two friends and colleagues. Kaminari made a 'yeep' sound and quickly hid behind Kirishima. Bakugou raised his brow at Kirishima, as if to ask, "What's up with him?"

"Uh, nothing. Just, hungry! You hungry? I'm hungry!" Kirishima replied.

"Oh yeah... Now that you remind me... I should remind Shitty Woman..." Bakugou muttered as he walked out of the office with his phone in his hand. After he walked out, Kirishima and Kaminari ran to his desk and grabbed the book.

"Just a Kiss..." Kirishima read. "By Iki Kamiko. This is Iki-san's series!" Kirishima pointed at the book and sighed at Kaminari. "See! I knew it! Bakugou was just supporting Iki-san by reading her book. I'm sure of it."

"But I saw him lick his lips at me! I swear!" Kaminari argued.

"Are you sure it wasn't just your imagination?" Kirishima questioned, not buying Kaminari's story. Kirishima patted Kaminari on the back. "Come on man, haven't you noticed how close Bakugou and Iki-san have gotten lately? If anything I'm willing to bet my lunch money that Bakugou likes her!"

"Really? You sure she didn't just convert him to one of her kind?" Kaminari asked.

"Okay, now that's rude. There's nothing wrong with Iki-san liking BL. And even if Bakugou likes BL, I'd totally support it!" Kirishima said.

"Well...yeah... I guess you're right..." Kaminari sighed. "I just hope he doesn't fall for me. I still want a girlfriend."

"I thought you liked Jirou?" Kirishima asked.

"I did...I mean I still do, but she's been ignoring me ever since I told her her boobs are smaller than Yaoyorozu... I mean what did she expect me to say? It's the truth!"

"Dude..." Kirishima had no words for him. This man was stupid, short circuited or not.

Bakugou came back to the room with a sandwich in his hand. He raised a brow at the two still in the office. "If you guys aren't gonna eat then go back out and do some patrolling."

"We'll eat! We'll eat right now!" Kirishima and Kaminari put Bakugou's book down and dashed out of the office. Bakugou sat back down in his chair behind his desk, and unwrapped the sandwich in his hand, taking a bite out of it.

His phone buzzed for a second, signaling a text message. Bakugou unlocked his phone to see a reply from 'Shitty Woman.' His eyes softened at the line of text followed by an emoji:

Thanks for the reminder HERO! °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖°

"Heh! Shitty woman..."
