RAW is WAR: 26/2/2001
RAW is WAR was live at the America West Arena in Phoenix, Arizona. The new World Wrestling Federation Champion, The Rock, came to the ring as RAW kicked off live from the America West Arena in Phoenix! The Great One had a few things he wanted to say. First, he told Kurt Angle that he saw two sides of his personality at No Way Out - a vicious side. And The Rock said he respected that. Then, after the match, Rock saw the other side of Angle's personality - the whining, crying Kurt Angle that the Brahma Bull absolutely hated! The Rock said if Angle wanted to complain, he should come out and complain to The Rock!
At that, Stone Cold Steve Austin came out to the ring! The Rattlesnake said he had a few things he wanted to get off his chest - and then he congratulated The Rock on his win at No Way Out! Then Austin told The Rock that he better stay healthy, and he began to leave! As he ducked under the ropes, The Rock simply said, "Don't leave." The Great One went on to say he had some advice for Austin - "Get ready!" The two men then stared each other down for several seconds!
In the parking area, William Regal paced around, when Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley asked him what he was doing. Regal said he thought that if he talked to Vince, he could get him to postpone the match. Stephanie said there was no reasoning with Vince and that Regal better go get ready for the match! Regal continued to wait in the parking lot.
In the Radicalz locker room, Perry Saturn asked Chris Benoit if Eddie Guerrero knew about the match later. Guerrero then walked in and got in Benoit's face about what happened between them at No Way Out! Guerrero told Benoit he was lucky Eddie didn't take him out right then! Dean Malenko then separated the two men and told them to leave what happened in the ring back in the ring, and to take care of business tonight.
In a tag team match-up, Guerrero and Benoit face Justin Credible and X-Pac. Guerrero and Benoit worked well together, isolating Credible and battering him. Credible tagged in X-Pac, who was also quickly isolated by the two Radicalz. After a few near-pinfalls by men on both teams, it appeared Benoit would take the win after hitting Credible with several suplexes. As Benoit went for his flying headbutt, X-Pac dragged Credible out of the way and rolled up Benoit for the pin! After the match, it seemed as if Benoit was blaming Guerrero for the loss.
A long black limo pulled into the parking area and Vince McMahon and Trish Stratus got out! William Regal went up to Vince and asked him to talk over the match like gentlemen. Vince told Regal that the match was still on!
Jonathan Coachman asked Kurt Angle how he felt about losing the title at No Way Out, and Angle just kept walking by!
In a match for the No. 1 contender spot for the Women's Title, Molly Holly and Lita challenged Ivory. The two women took it to each other in the ring, and Matt Hardy and Crash exchanged words on the outside. As the referee was trying to break up a fight between Matt and Crash, Raven's mystery ninja came to the ring and attacked Molly! Lita then scored the pin for the win!
As Vince and Trish discussed strategy for their match against Stephanie and William Regal later, Kurt Angle demanded a rematch against The Rock, saying he did care if the title was on the line! Vince told Kurt that he would take the request under advisement. Vince and Trish went on to fill a custodian's bucket with mud so they could humiliate Regal later!
Stephanie then came into Vince's office and she asked what would happen if her and her father were in the ring at the same time. Vince said she should know what was going to happen.
William Regal then went to Trish's locker room and she just told him to go to hell!
At WWF New York, Al Snow campaigned to become commissioner of the Federation. He said that one of his objectives was to add more midgets and to take the British presence out of the World Wrestling Federation!
Big Show then walked in to Vince McMahon's locker room and demanded that he get a match against The Rock! Vince said that he had an idea, and that Big Show would face The Rock and Kurt Angle in a Triple Threat Hardcore Title match!
In a Tag Team Title match, Haku and Rikishi challenged the Dudley Boyz. Before the match began, Undertaker and Kane came out to the stage and watched on. The match began with both teams punishing each other brutally. Just as it appeared Haku and Rikishi had the titles won, Taker and Kane ran out to the ring and attacked them! After the Dudleyz secured the victory, Taker and Kane flattened them with vicious chokeslams!
Michael Cole asked The Rock about the Hardcore Triple Threat match he was in later. The Rock simply said that it didn't matter!
Vince McMahon and Trish Stratus teamed up to take on William Regal and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley in a mixed tag match! Mr. McMahon and Trish brought to the ring their bucket of goop. Before the match, Vince gave Trish a good-luck kiss! The action began with Stephanie and Trish brawling in the ring. But before long, it was Vince and Stephanie in the ring! As Stephanie went to tag Regal, he walked away from her! Vince then asked for a microphone and told Stephanie that he always gets what he wants! He then told Stephanie that he wants the same thing that William, Stephanie and Trish wanted! Vince told the referee to leave and pulled Trish into the ring! Vince told Regal to go ahead and get what he wanted! William then gave Trish a neckbreaker! After that, Vince told Stephanie to get the bucket! Stephanie went to get the bucket as Vince said that there is only one daddy's little girl, and it was Stephanie! Vince told Trish that she was daddy's little toy and playtime was over!
"This is sick!" JR spat with disgust as Stephanie brought the bucket into the ring. "This is disgusting! Somebody should stop this!"
The crowd cheered loudly when the Bladewolf runs down the ramp and slides into the ring, standing in between Trish, the McMahons, and Regal.
"The Bladewolf's here! the new Intercontinental Champion!" JR exclaims.
"What's he doing here?" Jerry wondered.
Bladewolf looks from trish to Vince to Stephanie to regal...then clobbers Vince, then Regal before he glares darkly at Stephanie who goes to use the bucket on him only to be grabbed by the throat tight enough to make her drop the mop.
"No! He's not gonna...!" Jerry said.
Bladewolf lifts Stephanie up...AND PLANTS HER WITH A CHOKESLAM! Bladewolf then clotheslines Regal out of the ring and looks at Vince who stumbles to his feet as Trish looks on with wide eyes. Bladewolf walks towards the now terrified Vince.
"How does it feel now, Vince?" JR asks. "You feeling the fear you pt Trish through?"
"Now Bladewolf, calm down, it was all a harmless joke! She means nothing to you anyway! this has nothing to do with you!" Vince shouted.
Bladewolf just smirks before he suddenly scoops Vince up onto his shoulders...AND HITS THE WOLF'S HOWL!
"Wolf's Howl on the Boss!" JR eclaims.
Bladewolf's theme plays as the Demon Wolf stands tall over the fallen McMahons then picks up the mop and smirks before he puts it into the bucket then takes it out and rubs the insides all over Vince's face to laughs and cheers.
"Ahh!" Jerry screamed. "That's Mr. McMahon he's doing this to!"
Bladewolf drops the mop then picks the bucket up...AND POURS IT ALL OVER STEPHANIE! Bladewolf laughs as he dos this then tosses the bucket out of the ring, looking a little disgusted with the smell. He looks at Trish and walks over to her, and to everyone's surprise including Trish's, he scoops her up bridal style.
"Woah!" Jerry said with wide eyes.
Bladewolf leaves the ring with Trish secured in his arms and heads up the ramp.
"The Bladewolf was not having any of this." JR said. "he was not just going to sit back and watch as this young lady was humiliated like this. I'm glad he came out here and gave the McMahons a taste of their own medicine."
Off screen
As soon as they were backstage, George placed Trish down. "My hero." Trish said with a smirk. "Saving me from the evil, mean old boss and his daughter."
"Meh, no problem at all." George smirked.
"Shouldn't the brave knight get a reward for rescuing the damsel in distress?" Trish asked as an idea hit her.
"From what I've watched and read." George shrugged, not seeing where this was going.
"Well, here's a reward." Trish said before she leaned up and kissed his cheek, making him go wide eyed. She giggled. "See you around, handsome." With a wink she walked away, making sure to sway her hips and his eyes went to her backside clad in leather.
George stared after her and could only say one thing. "Damn..."
Later, on screen
Chris Jericho's theme hits in the arena and he comes out for his rematch against the Bladewolf for the Intercontinental Championship. Jericho makes his way down the ramp and gets into the ring, his theme dying down as he waits for the champion.

The referee shows the title off then gives it to someone at ringside before calling for the bell.

Down with the Sickness hits as Bladewolf gets to his feet and is given the title which he raises when suddenly the Jackal's theme hits to a mixed reaction and out he comes, making his way to the ring with a microphone in hand.
Jackal enters the ring and both men stare each other down before Jackal speaks into the microphone. "You probably don't know who I am so I'll just skip the bullsh*t. My name is Jackal. I came out here for one reason and that is for this." He points at the title. "I first came to the WWF last year and I've been dominating the competition. Ever since you've been sidelined in the hospital bed, I took your place as the most dominant wrestler in the WWF. I have not lost one match and I haven't been given a title shot, which is complete bullcrap. They just keep sending me wrestler after wrestler and, quite frankly, it's boring me. There's just no one here that can keep up with me. No one except maybe you. I came here to fight the best and I think I caught myself a big fish in the Bladewolf. What I'm telling you is I'm challenging you for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 17. Will you give me a shot at the Championship?"
The crowd cheers at the idea of seeing these two go at it at WrestleMania, causing Bladewolf to look around then he stares at Jackal and snatches the microphone out of Jackal's hand.
"Well hell, when you put it like that, I might just accept your little challenge. As for you being the most dominant wrestler in the WWF, you're dead wrong. You haven't achieved sh*t here except being undefeated, which you ain't the first to do so." The crowd oohed at that as Jackal glares. "If you wanna face me at WrestleMania, you have to show me you deserve a shot at the Intercontinental title. So far, I ain't impressed with what I see. If that's all, get steppin junior."
He goes to leave...BUT JACKAL BLINDISDES HIM! The crowd cheers as Jackal assaults Bladewolf with knees and punches away at him. Jackal rams Bladewolf's head into the turnbuckle, then rebounds off the ropes...AND HITS A SPEAR!
Jackal gets to his feet, grabs Bladewolf and lifts him up onto his shoulders into the powerbomb position...AND HITS THE JACKAL BOMB! Jackal stands up and grabs a microphone as Bladewolf groans on the mat.
"Are you impressed yet? Fights are about who throws the first punch. Well consider that the first punch. Bladewolf, I'll show you that I deserve a shot at the title at WrestleMania. You just lay there and watch the days count down to the day that I become the new Intercontinental Champion." Jackal says before he drops the microphone and leaves the ring as Bladewolf looks at him, smirking, impressed at the first impression he was just given.
I hope you all enjoyed reading this chapter and that little moment with Bladewolf/George and Trish both on screen and off screen. I really hated how Trish got treated here and the following week when Vince ordered her to strip and bark like a damn dog. How the hell could anyone working for the company put themselves through that? At least Trish went on to become one of the greatest, and still hottest, female wrestlers of all time.
