The next day I walled out, to see Peter with our army, and gryphons. I was really questioning this plan.

I pulled Peter to the side, "Peter, this isn't going to work. You should listen to every plan I had, and come up with the best plan that way, we will have a better chance of winning then."

Peter sighed, and rubbed his temples. "Ariel, you didn't do well, so we are doing things my way. And you are going to do things MY WAY!"

Peter stormed off, but I remembered something. "I refuse. As the High Queen, with a higher position than you, I will override the plan, and request we do things my way." I declared as calmly as I could, and it was hard.

"You can not do that!" Peter shouted as he walked closer to me.

"But I can, it was a condition Aslan put in when we were crowned, I haven't had a need to announce it before, but it is now."

"You are unbelievable!"

"I request that you listen to me, this plan is majorly flawed, and your ego is so inflated that you can't see the problem at hand."

Everyone was staring at us. Likely horrified by the way Peter was speaking to me.

"I suggest you listen to me and listen to my previous plans. You will learn a lot about that castle. Most of the times I attempted to take that castle were meer trials, and helped me to see the castle more clearly. I know every secret of that fortress, so you should heed me when I say, you will have many innocent lives killed on this plan."

Peter and I ended up agreeing that if his plan failed, we would do my plan. Truth be told, his plan was going to fail, and trust me when I say just that.

We flew over the Castle with the gryphons. I needed Peter to see this plan would not work.

Edmund glided down, and took out a guard. He flickered his light, to signal that the plan was going as planned. Not for much longer.

We then glided down, I took out a guard quietly when I landed.

I looked around and saw a guard walking away, not seeing me.

I pulled my sword and eliminated him in seconds.

Peter, Susan, Caspian and Trumpkin we're on solid ground, and we started to scout around our place on a tower.

I ran to the edge of the tower, and tied the rope, very secure must I add.

Caspian was the first to lower himself to the window and I knew something was wrong.

I lower myself as he asked "Professor?"

He opened the window, and after he got himself in, he helped me get in.

I looked around and I knew, this was the Professor's office. I had dreams of him being taken to the dungeons, as well as his finding our artefacts.

I saw a pair of spectacles on the ground. I walked up and picked them up. I saw they had been cracked, and saw that he was forced out of his office.

I turned to Caspian, and apologetic look on my face, I'm sure I had no chance of hiding it.

"I'm sorry Capsian, but we can find him!" I said as the others stared at me, in disbelief.

"The two of you don't have time. " Peter spoke in such a condescending voice. "You need to get the gate open for our troops to get in."

"You would not be here without him!" Caspian spoke, for the first time, with sadness in his voice. "And neither would I."

I looked at Peter and knew what I had to do. "You and Susan can find Miraz, I will make sure Caspian keeps a level head."

"And Ariel and I can still get the gate open in time." I knew Caspian would agree with my idea, he wanted to save his professor, the closest person to a father he had in years.

Soon Peter gave in. Caspian and I started to look for the Professor.

I had his spectacles in my hand, asking for the direction.

I soon found him, he was in a cell, and knew I needed to do something.

I looked, and saw a guard, asleep, with the keys out.

I knocked him on the back of the head with the hilt of my sword, hard. Once that was done, I got a hold of the key, and went to unlock the cell.

As soon as I unlocked the cell Caspian ran in, and started to shake his Professor.

"Five more minutes?" Caspian spoke, making the Professor wake up. I did laugh a little at the small sentence, knowing the inside joke.

"What are you doing here?" the professor asked, as he started to get up. "I didn't help you escape just so you could break back in. You have to leave before Miraz learns you are here!"

I pulled my hood down, as I got to him. I helped him, speaking to him for the first time. "He will know soon enough. And we are giving him your cell." I got him up.

As I looked at him, he noticed my necklace, as well as my crown.

"In all my years, the High Queen, here to save us from the evil that plagues this land!"

I smiled a little, "It is a pleasure to finally meet you in person, and thank you for securing the safety of Caspian. You are pleased to know he is standing by my side with my people, and we are aiming at bringing Miraz down."

"Don't underestimate Miraz as your father did!" the Professor announced, as we walked to the cell door.

"What are you talking about?" Caspian questioned, as I stared likely the full confusion on my face.

"I'm sorry, " the Professor looked so distort, it made me chock up a little.

I looked to Caspian, he walked away from his Professor and went out of the cell.

The Professor held onto my arm and asked a simple question, "Keep him safe my queen."

I ran after Caspian, to find him in his uncle's room. I had never seen Miraz with my own eyes, and he just sickened me.

Caspian unsheathed his sword and pointed it at Miraz's throat. I pulled my sword and held it close to my person. Miraz opened his eyes and chuckled.

"Thank goodness you are okay." his voice was dripping with evil. It truly sickened me.

"Get up." I knew Caspian was filled with hate, but he didn't have it in him to kill him, even though he is evil, he was still family. Miraz got out of his bed, purposely touching his wife.

"Caspian?" her voice had a sort of kindness to it, but she could be easily manipulated, the opposite of her husband.

"Stay where you are!" I hissed while I kept the hold on my sword tight.

"What are you doing?" I glared at her, is she really that dull, it is surprising.

"I should think it's obvious, dear. You know, some families might consider this inappropriate behaviour." Miraz, just trying to manipulate the situation.

"That doesn't seem to have stopped you!" I snapped, as I stepped towards him. My body was on display, showing him what a true woman is.

"But you are not like me, are you? It's sad. The first time you've shown any backbone... and it's such a waste." I slapped him across the face, anger on our faces.

"He doesn't need to be like you to be a good ruler. I know that better than you could ever wish you consider." I stepped back, sword still pointed.

"Put the sword down, Caspian." Miraz's wife had a crossbow in her hands, pointing at Caspian. "I don't want to do this."

"We don't want you to either." Susan and Peter walled in, looking really confused.

"This used to be a private room." Miraz spoke up, as if it would do anything.

"What are you doing Ariel? You're supposed to be in the gatehouse!" Peter held so much anger in his voice.

"ARIEL?!" Miraz and his wife announced, in shock.

"You can not be her! You're supposed to be dead!" Miraz spoke in an orderly tone, but still held much shock.

"Can't easily kill me," I spoke as I pointed my weapon back at Miraz.

"Tonight for once, I want the truth. Did you kill my father?" I held onto Caspian's hand, expecting only the worst of news.

"Now we get to it." Miraz spoke, as he walked closer, his hands in the air.

"You said your brother died in his sleep." I knew just how manipulative this man was, but this was gross.

"That was more or less true."

"Caspian, you are sure you want to hear this?" I asked, as I looked him in his eyes.

"We Telmarines would have nothing had we not taken it. Your father knew that as well as anyone." I almost threw up when he said this, he is horrid.

"How could you?"

"For the same reason you will pull that trigger. For our son."

"Stop!"

"Stay right there." I snarled, as I stepped just an inch closer.

"You need to make a choice, dear. Do you want our child to be king? Or do you want him to be like Caspian here? Fatherless!"

The next thing I know is a sharp pain in my arm. I looked down, to see an arrow, sticking out of it. I may be immortal, but that doesn't mean I can't feel pain.

"Ariel!" Caspian ran up to me, helped hold my arm, and pulled the arrow out in a swift few seconds. "Are you okay?" I heard Caspian speak, worry evident in his voice.

Susan tied a piece of fabric to my arm to help limit the bleeding. I turned to Capsian and smiled "Remember, I can not be killed easily."

I looked around, and saw that Peter was nowhere to be seen.

I started to walk away, and heard Miraz leaving the room, his wife crying. "We need to find Peter, he could get us, as well as himself, killed if he cannot adapt this plan."

They both agreed as I held my sword close to my frame. Caspian held my free hand tightly and stayed as close to me as humanly possible.

As soon as we ran out, I saw him trying to get the gate to open. "We're under attack!"

"Peter!" Susan shouted, as we ran to him.

"Our troops are just outside! Come on!" Peter shouted, still believing this plan would work.

He needs to know this plan was beyond idiotic, and if he was willing to listen and see, we would be in a much better situation.

"Now, Ed! Now! Signal the troops!" I glared at Peter, he was so oblivious to the situation.

"I'm a bit busy, Pete!" I looked up, to see Edmund fighting a guard.

I was really starting to get annoyed, this wasn't going to work, and I knew it.

"Peter! It's too late. We have to call it off while we can. The plan was idiotic, and you SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO ME!" I shouted as I pulled him away from the gates.

"No, I can still do this! Help me!" I glared at him.

Soon, we gave in, and started to help him, get the gate open.

"Who are you doing this for Peter?!" I shouted as we worked on getting the gate to open, for our troops.

Peter didn't end up answering me, just looking as if I were stupid.

Soon the gate was open, and the Narnians ran through, killing Talmorine in their path.

"For Narnia!" We all shouted, as I held my sword high, and attacked.

Soon into the fight, Caspian and I stood back to back, ready to fight a small army of the Talmorines.

I smiled at him, as they came in, Caspian got a hold of my hands, and spinning me in the air, taking out the Talmorines.

As he put me down. I felt him kiss my forehead. "Oh, who cares!" I brought his face closer to mine, and kissed his lips.

As the fighting occurred around us, I could feel eyes on us. I deepened the kiss, hiding my arms around his neck. He had his arms around my waist.

As I pulled away from the kiss, I quickly kicked a Talmorine guard, hard, where the sun don't shine, as he tried to attack us. It was exhilarating.

"I missed this!" I said as I hugged Caspian again.

He pulled me into another hug, and led us to the edge, overlooking the cliff.

I pulled back from him, and knew what we were doing. I jumped down, with his arms around me. Soon enough a gryphon came to collect us.

I looked down and noticed that most of the Narnians were still there. Peter fell back and left. It is sad, but he needed to know. He needed to know what went wrong. I wanted as many Narnians to live, this was just... horrid.

Soon into the flight, I started to feel a little dizzy.

It took a few hours before we got back to the Howl. I was fed up of listening to Peter, and I needed to back it to him.

As soon as we landed, Lucy placed a drop of her healing cordial in my mouth.

As soon as I felt better, I hugged Caspian again.

"What happened?" Lucy questioned as she looked at all of us.

"Ask them." Peter snarled as I stood up, still in Caspian's arms.

"PETER?!" I glared at him, wondering what he could mean.

"You could've called it off. There was still time." Caspian glared Peter down, and, I really liked it.

"No, there wasn't, thanks to you. If you two kept to the plan, those soldiers might be alive." I knew Peter was about to start a heated argument. I didn't want it to occur, but it was likely for the best.

"If you'd stayed here as we suggested, they definitely would be!" Caspian started, as I held onto his hand.

"You called us, remember?" I don't like this, I knew he shouldn't have, but everything happens for a reason.

"My first mistake, as letting him call you Peter. I would have fine with your brother or sisters, but NOT YOU!"

"No. Your first mistake was thinking you could lead these people!" Peter said in a matter of fact tone.

"I am the high Queen, and we did not abandon Narnia." I glared at him, he does not know his place in the food chain.

"He invaded Narnia." he glared at Caspian do hard, I was a little scared. "You have no more right to lead it than Miraz does." Peter shoved past him. "You, him, your father... Narnia's better off without the lot of you."

"PETER! STOP IT!" I shouted as I pushed him back. I pulled out my sword, so aggravated. "You are acting like a little child. The reason who Caspian went to Miraz, was because Miraz killed his father!"

I glared Peter down, knowing I had every right to talk to him now.

"I allowed him to go to Miraz's room because I know the pain of losing a loved one. You should know that BETTER THAN ANYONE!

"Second, we have waited patiently for you to return since you disappeared, I sent out search parties to find you, I saw where you felt for your world, and I hated it. I question why we ever saw you as a divine being.

"You are below me, and yet you act as though you are all righteous. You would not go over my plans, and agree on a possible strategy. YOU ARE AN IDIOT!

"Caspian is a far better leader than you were. You may have fought in a few wars, but that doesn't mean you know everything. You don't fully comprehend what we have been through.

"You could not comprehend what I HAVE BEEN THROUGH, WAITING FOR YOU!"

I lost it with him. I know he needed to hear it, but it doesn't stop my heart from breaking. I hope he understands what I mean.

I ran away, feeling tears welling my eyes. I didn't want to talk to him like that, but, he needed to hear it.

A/N: Hey guys, I feel as though I should address something. When I wrote this chapter, I said Ariel had more power than Peter. I know I shouldn't need to address this, but I want to. A Guest brought up that no one has higher power than Petet, apart from Aslan.

I am a Feminist, and I wanted Ariel to have more clear power than Peter. She was born into royalty, she was expected to take the throne, that was her destiny. She was who was meant to be the High Queen.

Peter, though he is the High King, he does not have anymore, or even the same, power, than Ariel. Ariel was blessed by Aslan himself, and he is the father she always wanted to have.

I want to address that is this a common theme in Narnia Fanfiction, a high queen, with more power than Peter and his siblings. I liked that idea, and wanted to bring it forward.

I also liked, looking from a Psychological viewpoint, that Peter has a Superiority complex. I liked that it developed after Peter kissed Ariel and that it got worst since he has been in England. But it continued to develop since coming back to Narnia.

Know that fanfiction should be what the writer wants it to be, and though people can bring up criticism, it is ours to make. Fanfiction doesn't need to be completely accurate to the original story it was based on, as long as it has it's heart, you are fine.

I am still new to writing fanfiction, but this is one thing people would not say. I have not had people say this if my memory serves correct, but, one time is too many.

I also liked that Ariel felt as though her people didn't appreciate her more than Peter. Even though they put more hope into her helping them in their darkest of times, she needs to show that she is who they deserve to be there, and not just as a hero.

I hope you understand this Guest, I want to make a story that is interesting to the people who reads it, and that is what most people want. A Fanfunction is what the writer makes of it. Thank you if you read the whole way through, and thank you for reading my story.
