Chapter 10

A/N: First let me say. This story will not end like the movie. Thank you Olitz4ever for explaining this point. All my stories are OLITZ. Their journey may be difficult, but they always get there. I love drama, crime mix with a little angst. I love pulling at the heart strings. It makes love grow fonder for me in my stories. The journey becomes so worth the fight. I will use many prompts from the movie with my very own twist here and there, so let's get to the story.

Fitz continues walking out of the bathroom then suddenly stops again looking back over his shoulder "I love you Livvie." With that he is gone right out of the hotel door.

Liv jumps down from the counter and just stands there for a moment. She is lost in her thoughts. Did he really just fuck her and walk out the door? Why was he sending her away? Was he going back to Zoey? Why did their love making feel emotional…different with Fitz being the emotional one this time around? Liv felt used and confused and would become even more confused when Fitz did not return the entire night nor the following morning. Liv felt alone and heartbroken.

On the way to the airport Diego tries cheering her up by stating the Zoey is Fitz's past and she is Fitz's future, but Liv wasn't buying any of it. In her mind Fitz had chosen Zoey over her.

Diego gets a phone call from Fitz explaining he's going off grid and he needed him to get back as soon as possible. Diego stops the driver and get into the second truck leaving Liv more confused and afraid than ever before. Did something happen with Fitz. Was this the end of them. She hated that she had fallen in love with him. She hated him even though she was in total and complete love with him at the same damn time. "Fuuuuuuck!" she screams out at the top of her lungs

Fitz after leaving the hotel that night Fitz when to Zoey's father Benny Banetto's home to meet with him. "Ah Fitz please come in." Both men take a seat "What brings you here? Is everything okay with Zoey?"

Without missing a beat Fitz answers "That's why I'm here to speak with you. I have moved on from Zoey. I found Olivia."

Benny sits back and crosses his legs "Can I offer you a drink?"

"No." Fitz simply says

"Does Zoey know you've moved on?"

"She does."

"So why are you here?"

"Zoey." Fitz states sensing the shift of energy in the room

"What about her? I mean if you have truly moved on, what else is there to say."

"I've moved on. She refuses to. I'm coming to you because she has also made threats and I don't take kindly to being threatened."

"Threat towards you…she would never. She knows she can't do that."

"Against Olivia, so I take that as a threat against me. Olivia is the love of my life and I won't allow any harm to come to her."

Benny stands and fixes himself a drink "I see, are you sure you don't want one of these, it's the best scotch money can buy?"

"No I'm good on that."

"So, is this a threat towards my daughter…my family?" His calm but intense demeanor changes

"This is me coming to you as a man also family for advice." Benny demeanor softens

"I will speak with Zoey. She won't be a problem to you or Olivia."

"Thank you, Benny."

"So, you really found her huh?"

"I told everyone I would."

"That you did Fitz, that you did. Cheers." He toasts his glass in the air before drinking "Tell me something Fitz…why did you shoot my nephew? I'm hearing so many stories I haven't decided how to deal with it."

"He was trying to rape Olivia and rape goes against everything we stand for. Even if it wasn't Olivia, I would have shot him. The only reason he's not dead is because he's your nephew. It's all on cameral."

Benny looks at Fitz and nods his head "Send me a copy, and I will speak with my brother about it." Fitz nods

Fitz leaves and decides to go dark. He informed Tom Huck and Cyrus of this because he needed time to himself. No one accept Tom knew where to find him. He needed to be sure Benny kept his word. He had Tom keep and eye on Zoey and Cyrus stay close to Benny. Diego was assigned to keep an eye on Olivia and keep her safe.

Two hours later he checked his phone log on the computer as Huck taught him to do when he removed his battery from his phone and had several calls from Zoey and Olivia. Zoey's had messages attached but Olivia's did not. She hung up after each call not leaving a voice message.

He decided to listen to Zoey's messages

Fitz you went to my father…how dare you. You can't just dump me for that simple bitch. She's a fantasy. I am real. She could never love you like I do. I wanted to wait and tell you in person, but you don't answer any of my calls or text. You are stuck with me Fitz, we are tied together forever now. You can walk out on me, but can you walk out on your child. I'm pregnant Fitz, we're having a baby. End of message

Second message….

Fitz baby I didn't mean to just blurt that out like that. I just found out yesterday when I took a home test and wanted to tell you, but you were with her and didn't call me back earlier. I wanted to tell you without her around. I'm not sure how far along I am. I didn't do this on purpose. My father will never allow you to leave me pregnant and alone. It goes against everything we stand for…family. I want us to schedule an appointment together. Please call me back. End of message

Third message….

So you're just going to ignore me and not call me back. Fitz you must know this changes everything, right? You can't be with the bitch even if you wanted to now. You have a responsibility to forfill. ANSWER THE FUCKING PHONE! If I don't hear from you soon your bitch is dead. I don't care what my father says. It's not like he's going to kill me (Laughter). I will have that black bitch killed do you hear me Fitzgerald? My father will be angry, but he'll get over it, but he won't tolerate you dumping me while I'm pregnant with your child. I have not told my father yet. I figured we could do it together. I expect your call soon. Better yet I want to see you within the next 24 hours. Don't test me Fitz. End of message

Fitz sits back in his chair trying to calm himself down. He knocks the computer across the room and tosses the table from its standing position. "Fuck! How the hell am I going to fix this?" He suddenly felt cornered

Liv lands in LA and takes an UBER to her apartment Fitz set up for her. She almost went home to spend time with her parents but was too emotional to explain her life right now.

The apartment is beautiful and large but lonely. She called Fitz several times and got a message that the caller was unavailable. She needed someone to talk to. She needed a friend. As tears fell from her eyes, she thinks of what to do next. She started to call Abby but needed and wanted human contact. She decided to pay Abby a surprise visit. After showering and changing into something plain and comfortable she heads out. She looked how she felt, not her normal beautiful self.

Liv arrives at Abby's and knocks. When Abby opened the door, she quickly hangs up on whoever she was talking to "Where the hell have you been?" She pulls Liv inside of her apartment and hugs her so tight Liv can barely breath. "Hello to you too Abs." Liv pushes out

Abby releases her and looks at her "Seriously Liv, where have you been? I've been calling you for over a week. I thought some Sicilian kidnapped your ass."

"Well I kind of was…kidnapped." Abby stares at her intently "Then I feel in love."

Abby points to the sofa "Sit your ass down Olivia Carolyn Pope and start from the beginning." They take a seat "What the hell Liv? I could kill you right now. Start talking."

Liv takes a deep breath before speaking "Zach. I had enough of him."

"Did he piss you off?"

"I fell in love."

Abby get in Liv's face "You were serious?"

Liv shares everything that happened including her what took place concerning Zach and Zoey.

"Wow Liv."

"I know Abby, it sounds ridiculous. I didn't want it to happen. I fought with him and myself, but things kinda of got out of control and I could not control my feelings and things just happened."

Abby chuckles "I mean this is fucking great, right?" Liv smiles and stare off in memory as she thinks of Fitz

Abby grabs her by the shoulders "Don't make me force it out of you. Tell me who is he?"

Liv jumps up twirling her fingers together like a schoolgirl "He is…special."

"What do you mean? Is he sick or something? Or flat footed and walks with a limp?"

"Shut up Abby. No not like that."

"Then tell me."

"I need a drink. Yeah let's drink and I will explain."

They pop a bottle of wine and sits down at the bar area.

"Okay Imagine a strong alpha male, who always knows what he wants. Six feet, with the body of a god and stunning piercing blue eyes, has absolutely no body fat with rips for days, and has been molded by god himself. Very respected and feared. When I am with him, I feel like a woman being loved like I've never felt. He makes all my sexual fantasies come true."

"Did God mold his dick, too?" Liv takes a long swallow from the wine bottle and turns to Abby "Yes." They both break into laughter

"Fuck me. I guess that explains why I haven't heard from you." Abby states after her laughter subsides "So what about him as a person?"

Liv becomes quiet "Do you need time to think this through?"

"Mm-hmm." Liv answers in a dragged out tone before answering "He comes from a rich family. He's American and lives in Sicily. He's never been married, no kids"

Abby slams the wine bottle on the bar "Right, now spare me the bullshit. Tell me the truth."

Liv take the bottle and turns it up again drinking it without stopping before Abby snatches it away. "Start talking."

Liv decides to tell her the truth. Abby is left angry. "So he fucked you and sent you packing?"

"I know Abby I fucked up. I allowed myself to be kidnapped by a mob boss, and then I feel in love with him." Liv is now pacing. "And the worst thing is that he keeps me in the dark about everything. They all treat me like some kind of doll. Him his staff, his security…him as well. He sent me home and I still don't know a single thing. Did he dump me? Will he come back for me? Did he go back to his ex? I'm left with so many questions."

Frustrated Abby jumps in "That's why you need to fucking forget about him and move on. Can't you see that?" Liv sighs and sits down "Fuck all the Fitzgerald's and Zach's and all fucking thing Sicily."

"You're right. It's time for a change."

"Let start by changing clothes."

"What?"

"We're going out. Let's go." Abby grabs Liv's hand and pulls her into her room to find something cute to wear.

They take the day to enjoy getting their nails, toes, and hair done along with facials and personal massages. It was a true girl's day. For three days strait they partied and forgot about any problems they had. It was now Sunday and Abby need to work in the morning, so Liv decided to head home with the promise to call her daily.

Once alone the tears returned. The loneliness returned. The doubt of his love for her also returned. She tried calling him again with no luck.

Fitz was considering his choices should he go and see Zoey or should he not. He felt as if she was playing a game with him. If she was he was going to get to the bottom of it. He had been fucking her for over 5 years and just started openly seeing her last year and she's never gotten pregnant. Why now? He didn't like being told what to do. He didn't like being played with. So he decided to bid his time and clear his mind instead.

He wanted so bad to talk to Olivia but what would he say? He couldn't allow her back until things were settled with Zoey. He saw the jealousy and fear in her eyes. He knew the look of fear well, jealousy was something he himself experience when he finally met Olivia.

It would be two more day before he would see Zoey. According to Cyrus she had not spoken with her father but she had been calling him constantly demanding to know where Fitz was. After checking with Tom he learned that Zoey was home and had not come out in two days. Fitz decided now was time to make his move. He had contacted his personal doctor and asked him to meet him. He gave him Zoey address and a time. He also had Tom purchase two pregnancy test from the pharmacy before heading to Zoey's home.

He arrives. He knocks. The door opens and Zoey smiles "You came. I knew you would come. I knew you still loved me." She tries to kiss Fitz but he stops her short

"I'm not here for that. I'm here for this." He pulls out the two pregnancy test.
