Teela's Sword
I own nothing of MOTU, He-man or the characters there in. In this story Teela gets her own power sword and learns a how life is with a duel identity. When and ancient evil arises our heroes must travel time and space to gather forces to combat it and save a childhood friend.
CHAPTER 13 Threats and Responses
The Sorceress is sitting on the throne in Grayskull trying to decide who should be the next Sorceress of Grayskull, she is pulled from her thoughts when a vision comes to her. In it she sees Shokoti meet with Horde Prime to attack Eternia, once it's over she contacts Adam and Teela. They gather their friends and the Grayskulls and head out to see her.
While the heroes rush to meet the Sorceress across the planet there is another meeting happening, Shokoti is in the Repton village taking possession of the shaman Sala-Mandora. She was one of the strongest mages in Sub-Eternia, and a feared warrior as deadly as she was beautiful. Sala-Mandora screamed as Shokoti covered her in shadow, and cursed her chief for selling her out to the evil spirit. The chief was a weak willed man who had a head for profit, the fact he kept the village treasury up was why he was still chief after 30+ years. Once Shokoti had her prize she left, but not before setting the village ablaze.
Reaching Grayskull our heroes learn of Horde Prime coming to Eternia, D'Vann becomes very angry swearing to kill him this time. Adam has a unique idea, he suggests D'Vann and Eva stay in the castle from now on. When asked why Adam merely says "My power as He-man is stronger when at Grayskull or after I spent much time there."
D'Vann thinks about it and realizes that is why he built the castle there to begin with, it was a natural mystic energy spring his master had pointed out to him. D'Vann made his own suggestion of sparring matches to train until they are ready for the battle, Teela says she likes the idea because she wants to teach her mother a little hand to hand combat. Eva and Adora/She-Ra pair up, as Halita trains with Queen Marlena. Adam and D'Vann face off, while Dare and King Randor test each other. Lastly Weaver and Lyn have a magic duel, something they both find entertaining and a challenge. For the next month whenever they get a chance they meet up to train, Randor even takes on D'Vann once or twice, much to the amusement of Marlena. JC shows up one day to spar with the men of the royal family, and that match went bad for the royals.
JC stood in the center of the practice ring surrounded by Adam, Dare, Randor, and D'Vann. Once the bell sounded Randor charged from the left, JC grabbed his outstretched arm and pulled then threw him to his right. Adam was shocked to see his father thrown at him, he managed to catch him but not to avoid the reverse elbow to the face. Dare charged from behind only for JC to step back and elbow him in the gut, then backhand him in the face and yell "Batman!"
That caused Marlena to fall into a giggling fit. As Dare stumbled back JC dropped mule kicking him, then shot up barely in time to stop D'Vann's double axhandle hammer punch. The two long haired warriors were locked in a test of strength, and to many's amazement JC was holding his own against the legendary. Then to everyone's shock JC forced D'Vann down on one knee, a smile on both men's faces. Unfortunately for JC Randor had got back up and delivers a strong left hook, the punch rattled JC long enough for the others to dog pile him and win. While they won all four men knew if it was one on one they would have got quite the beating, all but D'Vann wondered if JC was in fact a real monster. D'Vann just clapped him on the shoulder and said "Let's go get a drink Master Steelwolf"
Three months later and there had been a few minor battles when Shokoti had tried to get items of power, however thanks to Damani she failed. The young blond mage was quite powerful and seemed to only grow in power and skill daily. The Sorceress had taken note of this and passed on the Title of Sorceress of Grayskull to her, unlike Teela-Na Damani chose to still go by her name instead of her title. Teela-Na was surprised by the parting gift Grayskull gave her, she regained her youth to the point she was the same age as when she became the Sorceress. Damani gave her the sword JC had made saying she would help him make another with Grayskull's power. What nobody knew was she had a vision in the chamber of light when she became the Sorceress.
A month later a huge shadow fell on Eternia as the Horde finally got there, they flew straight for Shokoti's temple. It was there the two joined forces to overthrow Eternia. Shokoti told of all she had been through, neglecting to mention King Grayskull was in this time. Hordak wanted to mention there was three warrior women of She-Ra's caliber here, but since Prime had punished him for losing Etheria he kept quiet. The two villains plotted as Hordak snuck away, sure he had no love for the Eternians but he was not going to let this upstart take his spot in the Horde. He would locate his old student and have him pass on a few secrets to the heroes, thus ensuring his rank would be safe.
Finding Skeletor wasn't as hard as he thought, sort of. Keldor and the Gar soon surrounded him with weapons drawn, Hordak nearly wet himself seeing his former student looking stronger than ever with a blue sword matching He-man's, the sword radiated power greater than the Havok staff. It didn't take long for Hordak to explain himself once he learned Keldor switched sides. The information wasn't much as far as tactics as it was in what they had with them. Keldor released Hordak and left to warn the palace.
At the palace a portal opened and Keldor walked out, Randor greeted him warmly and the two headed for Duncan's lab. Since Roboto had been called back to planet Robotica, so Duncan was building a new warrior based off Roboto's specs when the two entered his lab. After Keldor told them of the Horde's new super weapon, Duncan smirked as he brought up the designs for several of their transports along with Roboto's. Then he shooed the two out of his lab and locked the door.
NOTE sorry folks the chapter is late, I am unfortunately suffering from writers block and it is making it hard to get these chapters out, fortunately there is only one to two chapters left.
