[The castle [Elder] Anak Zahard ]
A team is usually needed to be able to climb the tower, that much she knew but for a princess, things worked differently, they just needed to prove themselves to be either the most capable or strongest, and they were able to go to any floor of the inner tower simply because of the title they were given.
It wasn't like if the title alone give them this privilege, they needed the power to back it up, after all some people didn't respect such things.
She had to admit that the castle was disappointing, to say the least, everyone was given their heart's desire from the beginning, and so no one had any reason to climb it.
For that matter, there weren't things like a testing room she could just go to so she could head straight to the next floor, no she had to find those and that was an issue in itself.
Then there was another problem, the method used by her and everyone that had come from the tower didn't exist here, instead, there was something called mana, and if she was honest it was no different, it did everything Shinsu did but it mainly came ina form of a crystal.
That both made her job easier and unnecessarily difficult, she had to either learn to make a mana crystal or find the kind she needed to perform several if not all of her old attack methods.
Still, the castle had granted her, her heart desire, she had been able to see her daughter one more time.
She had grown up a lot and seemed to have a type of cockiness about her, the two of them had seen each other on the testing floor, but her wish was only granted for a moment, after all, she wished she could see her daughter one more time and so the castle granted it to her.
Now if she wanted to be with her daughter again, she had to find a way to climb the castle.
The question was how?
No teams had been formed, there was no way of navigating this floor and all of her weapons were gone, she only had a sword and pink armor the castle had granted her.
"I don't know, I guess we can help Blue become an adventurer," a man said to a boy and a girl as they walked passed her
"Let's see what we can do," John said to them as he and his teammates walked passed her
"Alright so how are we going to do that?" Blue asked Rachel and John
"It says here that we just need to go to anyone and see if they need us to do something for them, however, if there aren't things for us to do, it just means the other players did the missions already and we should concentrate on killing monsters" Rachel answered Blue
She watched as the blond girl said to her two companions as she read a small booklet.
"Why didn't I get one of those?" she asked herself as she looked at the small book the girl was reading, and her help screen activated.
Rare item, Beta tester book, a book created by those that came before, it regularly updates itself with the information those that came before have obtained.
A limited number exists within the castle, if you managed to get one of these, you have a lot of good luck, for these books are all connected and so there's always something new to learn.
"Looks like I found something useful," she said to herself as she looked at the three-man team
It was simple to approach them, the only thing she had to do was go up to them and say hie, but were they useful to her, the eldest amongst them looked like an experienced soldier, but the other two.
No, none of them looked to be either impressive or powerful in any sense, the man while he may be experienced in combat, she doubted he had ever faced things like those one would find in the upper floors.
Yet again this was the first floor and she had to remind herself that she was no different.
"Hey are you three Adventurers\ Players!?" she called out to the three of them and as they stopped walking she noticed the red three-eyed tattoo the one named Blue had on his forehead
The three of them looked at her with confused expressions.
"Yeah we are" John answered her
"I'm looking for someone to team up with, I'm good with spears and swords," she said to them
"No thanks we're good," Blue said to her before the three strangers just looked at one another and started walking away.
"Is it because I'm green?" she asked them
The girl stopped walking and turned to look at her.
"No, we're just don't know what to do from here, so we're just going to explore this floor and wait until someone finds the dungeon for the floor guardian" Rachel answered her before she started walking again and caught up with the rest of her team
Okay, it would take a leap of faith but if the next move she made was right then, should either make herself a part of their team, or the three of them would die and she could take the book.
"That book, it was made by the Beta testers, right. It should tell you the location of the exam room!" she called out to them
The people around them stopped walking and she noticed that some of them began to look around, while others took out said books and began to look through them.
"I found the dungeons," a group of men who all wore red armor said
"Found it, it's on-page twelve," Another man said
She noticed that her help screen activated as every other adventurer, that had a book began to spread the information, she began to look around and noticed all of the other players were looking at their help screens.
This was bad, in a single move she had placed a huge target on everyone that had one of those books.
Admittedly saying those words in a crowded area wasn't her best idea, but she had been on the burg of death not too long ago so she could be forgiven for the consequences
"We need better equipment," John said as he read his book
"Then to the dungeons we go," Blue said before he turned to look at her
"So are you coming or what?"
