Epilogue

5 years later

Jenny was sitting in the bathroom looking at a positive pregnancy test.
She was so happy. They already had their first child almost 3 years ago. Oh how time flies. Never had she imagined that she actually would become Nate's wife one day, let alone have his children.

She remembered the day he proposed to her.

"Jenny we have known each other for so long and because of the stupid teenager I was, I had to miss you for most of it. I let my fear get in the way but never again. I let you slip through my fingers so many times but this time I have a tight grasp and I'm never letting you go ever again. I will love and cherish you forever and 10 times harder to make up for the time we lost. I want to have you with me forever, that is if you'll have me."

Nate then got on one knee and Jenny's hand flew to her mouth

"Jennifer Tallulah Humphrey will you please do me the honor and marry me?"

"Nate Archibald of course! Yes omg yes! A thousand times yes!" she said while crying.

Nate slid the ring on her finger and kissed her with so much passion she felt lightheaded. It was like all her dreams were coming true. She was a famous designer and she got the man of her dreams. There is nothing more she could've wished for.

The wedding was beautiful, it was everything she dreamed of and more.

She remembered the night she first talked to Nate about kids, they were not engaged yet.
Nate and Jenny were both sitting on the couch cuddling while watching a movie. But Jenny wasn't really paying attention, she wanted to ask Nate how he felt about kids but she was a little nervous. Why should she be nervous, there is no reason to. But she felt like it might scare him off. But thinking about how he was with Henry made her smile, seeing the two play together warmed her heart. The way he was so caring and playful. The way he acted reminded her of teenage Nate, the one who stole her heart. His hair would always be all messy after playing with Henry and it really reminded her of the times when he was staying with them. The days in the weekend when he wasn't all made up for school and didn't do his hair because he wasn't in the mood. His hair was messy damn did it look good on him. It also brought her back to the first time they kissed. Jenny was running her hands through his hair so much that afterwards it was a mess, but he still looked sexy, even sexier and Jenny knew she was in love with him.

She was so into thoughts until she felt a pair of lips on her neck, kissing and sucking. She let out a soft moan.

"welcome back to earth beautiful. I thought I lost you there for a second. What were you thinking about?" Jenny smiled and turned around so they were facing each other now. She gave him a quick peck on the lips and let out a sigh 'Come on Jenny it's not that hard, just ask him.' She thought.

"Hey what's wrong?" he said. He pulled her chin up and kissed her softly.

"Nate?"
"Yes?" he answered, and the way he was looking at her made her weak in the knees, if she was standing she would've fallen. They have been together for a year now and they and he still looks at her with so much love and passion, even more than before if that was possible.

"Would you ever want kids?" she asked quietly as if not to scare him.

"Jenny are you serious? Of course I want kids but not just any kids. I want your kids. I want a whole football team. A whole army of little Js walking around."

Jenny laughed. He could be such a dork

"I haven't heard that nickname in ages and I wanna keep it that way." She joked
"But I'm happy you feel that way. I also want a few baby golden boys walking around." She said back.

Nate let out a laugh. God how she loved him.

"touché." He answered and before she had any time to respond he moved them so he was on top of her.

"So what do you say we already start practicing?" he said with that devious smile only for her. She didn't even respond. She grabbed him by the collar and pulled him down so his was kissing her.

Oh the day she told him she was pregnant.

It was date night. They had been so busy lately, especially now that Nate is mayor, but they always found time for each other.
That night she came home from work and she was so excited to tell Nate the news but when she walked into the house she was shocked. The house was all lit up like the first date they had after the wedding. Nate was standing in the doorway holding a bouquet of roses and that smile on his face that made her heart beat out of her chest. He walked up to her and kissed her.

"Omg is there a thing I forgot about?" she said when they pulled away.

"I just wanted to surprise you, I know we haven't really had that much free time ,mostly because of me, so I wanted to do something special." He said while leading her to the table. He pulled out her chair, like the gentleman he was.

"Why thank you kind sir." She said.

"You're welcome, my lady." He said and then kissed her hand. She giggled.

"On this day we had our first real kiss, not the one at the masquerade ball."

"You still remember that day?" She said honestly surprised, that he knew it was today. Of course she knew, how could she not, today was the day Nate stole her heart all those years back.

"Of course, I could never forget." He said with such honesty and intensity she thought she would pass out.

After they ate Nate gave her a gift. She opened it and it was a bracelet, like the one she wore to the masquerade ball with their initials engraved in it. Jenny cried and kissed him, now was the time to tell him.

"I also have a surprise for you." She quickly said and ran to get her bag.

"You didn't have to." He said. She pulled out a small box and gave it to him.

"Open it." She said. They smiled at each other. Nate then opened the box and looked at what was inside with shock.

He looked at it for a minute and Jenny was starting to worry, that was until he looked up and she noticed he had tears in his eyes and the brightest smile.

"Is this for real? Are you pregnant?" He said with so much happiness.
" I think so I took 3 tests and they all came out positive. I do have to make an appointment to make sure."

"So I'm gonna be a father?"

"Yes you are."

He put the package to the side and picked Jenny up and twirled her around. They were both laughing and crying at the same time.

"We're gonna be parents." He screamed

"Jenny this is the best present ever. I love you so much!" he kissed her and they stayed like that for a while.
"I love you more. You will be an amazing father Nate." She said when they pulled away.

"I don't think that's possible. And you Jenny will be the best mother in the world." He said.

"Don't let Blair hear you or she'll have your hear." She joked and they both laughed.

months later Emily Humphrey – Archibald was born.

Now Jenny is on her way to Nate's office to surprise him. When she walked into his office he was just getting of the phone. She smiled at him and he smiled back.

"Surprise." She said. By that time he had already marched up to her and kissed her.

"A pleasant surprise indeed." He said when they pulled back. She laughed.

"And to what do I owe this visit."

"Can't I just visit my husband?"

"Of course you can honey! You can come by all the time for me." And kissed her again.

"Well I do have a little surprise for you." She said.

"Wait really? Why? Omg did I forget an event?" He was panicking.

"No you didn't forget anything." She grabbed the hands that he had wrapped around her waist and put them on her belly. Nate was looking at what she was doing and when she stopped his eyes shut up to hers.

"Are you telling me what I think you are?" He asked hopefully.

"Yes I am." Nate pulled their lips together and they stayed like that for a while. When they pulled apart Nate dropped on his knees and put his head on her belly.

"Hey there baby, it's me, your dad. I just want to let you know I already love you so much."

Jenny laughed and pulled him back up.

"You're so silly." She said while wrapping her arms around his neck.

"But you love me anyway." He said back with a big smile.

"Yes I do, I love you so much."

"I love you too and I am so happy."

Then she kissed him. Never had either of them imagined they would have such an amazing life together but here they were and they wouldn't want to trade it for anything.
