I realized that it's been a long time since I updated this one, especially since it is my favorite story!

It was a normal day at Mechanical Monsters (as Calvin had nicknamed it). Until two ladies with snake hair burst in.

"Hello... Can I help you?" He figured that they snakes were just a realistic Medusa costume, until the snake hissed at him "Ahhhhh"

Anilla and Ember burst in, Anilla with a knife, and Ember holding something that looked like a bazooka.

"Em, are they who I think they are?" Anilla asked, with an amount of calm unusual for someone getting attacked by snake ladies.

"I don't know, I can't read your mind, but I think that's the gorgons." Ember replied

"Di Immortals! Dad killed their sister, and also them a couple times. Plus I'm pretty sure Mrs. O'Leary killed them."

"Don't even MENTION that blasted dog." Snake lady #1 growled.

"Have a Cheese n' Weiner!" Snake lady #2 hissed

"What?" Anilla laughed

"We are getting attacked by gorgons, and you are LAUGHING?" Calvin cried

"Relax Cal. Ember and I were trained for this. Is your mother coming to pick you up soon?" Anilla assured him

"Yeah, any minute now. But that's really not important right now."

"Great. She can help. She probably know how to work a bazooka." Ember said

"Why would... You know what, I'm gonna hold my questions." The snake ladies lunged, and Anilla slashed. Meanwhile, Ember was trying to get the bazooka working I've never used a bazooka, IDK how they work. After they fought for a few minutes, Calvin's mother walked in. Instead of panicking, she asked "Where'd you get a bazooka?"

"Dad" Ember replied

"Of course" She rolled her eyes "Toss it here."

And Ember tossed a large and heavy weapon to his mother, and she caught it with ease. She had it loaded in 30 seconds, and turned Snake lady #2 to dust.

"Noooooo! Stheno!" Snake lady #1, and Anilla used the distraction to stab her in the back.

Silence.

"Gods, I'm really sorry your son got dragged into this" Anilla said

"It's okay. It was bound to happen eventually, and it's not your fault."

"Excuse me? I'd like an explanation." Calvin intervened

"Okay, so remember how I made you learn about the Greek gods?" His mother said

"Yeah..." He said "Oh. Are they real?"

"Well that was quick!" Ember remarked

"How'd you figure that out?" Anilla asked

"Well we were just attacked by gorgons, I can put two and two together."

"Leo couldn't" His mother said "Jason said something about Vulcan, and he said he didn't even like Star Trek. Thick skulled, your father is, Ember."

"Vulcan, isn't he Roman? And how do we all tie in to this?" Calvin asked

"Roman gods are also real, but that's complicated, so let's stick to Greek for the moment. I am a daughter of Hephaestus, and these two can tell you themselves."

"I am a daughter of a son of Hephaestus and Calypso, the titaness." Ember informed him

"My parents are a son of Poseidon and a daughter of Athena, but biologically I'm a mix of every god. Some sort of weird test tube baby" She is NOT a Mary-Sue, and I have a backstory that proves that, but no one seems interested in hearing it. I'm just gonna say that she is actually not very powerful, her talents just come from different areas instead of just one.

They explained to him about CHB, and Romans, and various other topics. Calvin felt brain dead.
