Chapter 10: The Roam to Home

Katelyn and Stripes finally returned to Lexington Town Avenue, and ended up in their bedroom. In fact, it was the same place they ended up right before they left for Cyberville. Then, Katelyn's mother came to the door with Sitri and Professor Paws while holding a plastic steak for Sitri in her hand.

"Oh! Hello, Katelyn!" Katelyn's mother said. "What were you doing outside of Lexington Town Avenue? Duke Grailton and King Thorian were looking all over for you! Same thing with your teacher! She was looking all over for you too! What happened?" she later asked.

"You would not believe me if I told you, my dearest mommy." Katelyn said. "It was all in my imagination. In fact, I don't think Sitri would believe me either."

"Yeah, ma'am." Stripes said. "I don't even think my own twin sister would believe us if we told you and Professor Paws

"Really?" Katelyn's mother asked. "That's odd."

"Yeah. And we learned a lot of lessons from Byleth when we were there! We learned about sacrifice, family, friendship, teamwork, and strategy."

"You saw Byleth Eisner? The guy you love, Katelyn?!" Sitri asked Katelyn.

"Me and your brother did, Sitri." Katelyn said.

"Wow… wish I were there." Sitri responded. "So, did you bring back anything from the town he was residing in? Maybe a postcard, or even a replica of one of those Heroes' Relics from Fire Emblem: Three Houses?"

"Actually, it's impossible to bring back souvenirs from other dimensions." Katelyn said. "It's just… not possible to do. Though I wish it were possible"

"I see, Katelyn." Professor Paws said.

"You... you went to another dimension?" Katelyn's mother asked. "But how? How could this be possible?! This is the real world! Lexington Town Avenue is the real world! The street we are alive on is the real world! Same with all the other streets and avenues in this world! I mean... how could this ever be possible? What kind of species are you Some sort of demigod?"

Katelyn remained silent until she decided to speak. "Well... no one told me exactly what I was, mom." Katelyn said. "But... was that an instinct I had?"

"Was what an instinct you had?" Sitri asked.

"Me talking to fictional characters in other dimensions!" Katelyn exclaimed. "That's the instinct, Sitri! What is this, a movie or something?"

"Katelyn, sweetheart, this is not a movie! This is real!" Katelyn's mother exclaimed. "This is in your bedroom!" Then, a knock was heard at the door. It was Duke Grailton and King Thorian. Both of the leaders of Lexington Town Avenue was looking for Katelyn.

"Miss, we were looking for Katelyn all along! Is she back yet by any chance?" Duke Grailton asked Katelyn's mother.

"In fact, she just returned not to long ago, Daniel." Katelyn's mother said. "Please, you and His Majesty can come in."

"Oh, thank you, madam." King Thorian said as he took off his golden crown and bowed for Katelyn's mother. She then asked if the two handsome men would like anything to eat or drink.

"How about tea and biscuits, madam." King Thorian asked. "But, make it with six sugars, please."

"And take the tea easy on me, madam." Duke Grailton said.

"Coming right up." Katelyn's mother said.

Back with Katelyn and the Furry Felines, she was telling her story about how she was in Cyberville. She also mentioned that she used Byleth's dagger to stab Sephiroth. Professor Paws was shocked with Katelyn.

"Katelyn!" Paws exclaimed. "That is called dishonoring Final Fantasy VII curriculum! Do you have any idea what you have done to the one-winged angel himself?!"

"Hey, Professor, at least she saved Cyberville and the entire Smash Brothers universe." Stripes said. "I even ripped his shirt off with my bloody fangs. This is what he gets for torturing people with that long sword he has in his hands almost every day in that game."

"Stripes, you're using the wrong type of grammar. Sephiroth met his end now because of the citizens of Cyberville." Katelyn said. Then, Duke Grailton came upstairs to Katelyn's bedroom with King Thorian.

"Katelyn, what's... what's going on up here?" King Thorian asked Katelyn.

"We were talking about Cyberville. I was actually there today, King Thorian! You've got to believe me!" Katelyn exclaimed.

"Heh. We'll believe it when we see it." King Thorian said. He later stared at Duke Grailton.

"I believe it, King Thorian." Duke Grailton said. "Well, I've gotta go. My daughter needs me for something back at Town Hall. Goodbye, everyone."

"Goodbye, Duke Grailton." Katelyn said to Duke Grailton. As all of the Furry Felines gathered together as one with Katelyn after Duke Grailton, King Thorian, and her mother left, they all sat down and watched as Katelyn finally played Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in peace and quiet. And that was the end of a great, fantastic adventure set off by Katelyn and Stripes of Lexington Town Avenue.
