Today we celebrated the start of spring with an ice cream social and just hanging out outside in the beautiful weather. We also played with the baby rabbits in there runs and while my friends were here my other doe flower had 8 kittens we will keep 3 bucks as our oldest buck my rabbit sunshine needs to retire. We have named them salt and pepper and ginger is mine and the others are Elsie's. She also got a new girl daisy as her reward for rescuing her from a trap which allows her to talk to Animals Daisy is her helper animal like Cinnamon is mine. My entire family loves the rabbits and we love sharing them with others we already have families for the other 5 babies and Beth will take care of 2 bucks Sunshine and smoke and 2 moms Gem and Ruby who are all retired.
On Monday night violet called for me I got dressed and went to my broom which I recently learned to fly. I met Candice and Violet at the home of Sherman the shoemaker his wife Susie was in labor. After a long night early the next morning she had twins Sarah and Samantha who are adorable. We then got another call Manny's sister Lola and her husband who recently moved here was also in labor. We arrived just an hour before she had a girl Maria Lucia who Joins brothers Pepe and Chico. I got home a couple hours later and went straight to bed as its spring break. When I got up mom had me go to the pastry kitchen and make pastries so Mrs Garcia could go meet her granddaughter and pick up her grandsons Alex and Quinn up from the seaport. They are coming to live with Kelly Manny and there grandparents in a new cottage Manny built on our land. Eliot has moved into auntie Beth's guest room as they are sort of a couple.
His sister and her family will take the old guest house as she is our new seamstress. And her husband will work for dad as his accountant Ours both retired after working for dad and his family since before dad was born they were amazing and are an awesome couple. We attended there retirement party late last week. We are starting to get ready for 2 huge events the year 6 graduation which means we move to the high school wing and Easter weekend. We are prepping for both events as they are both less then a month away. I got home from rounds with Violet and moms 2 does fern and peppermint had each had 6 kittens. We will be selling all these babies.
On Monday the year 6 student had graduation practice in the auditorium we were told girls were to wear navy or red dresses or skirts with a white red or light blue top. Boys red or blue pants and a light blue red or white button down. We practiced till we had it right and that was hard. After this I went with Jade Sofia Lucinda and a few other girls to pick out skirt sets and shoes. We then headed to Elsie's dazzleball game her team won but she hurt her hand badly. When we got home the castle doctor took a look and ordered an x ray in the village so mom had me take her to meet Kelly on my way to work. Ruben would pick her and Kelly up in a couple hours. After work I got home and packed for a royal visit to see Queen Elena. We are going because she invited us to spend Easter with her and her. It turns out Elsie broke 2 fingers and a bone in her hand.
We celebrated Easter in Avalor with several other families it was a lot of fun and while we were there Elena announced she was expecting around Thanksgiving. We have invited her to stay with us around this time. As violet the girls and I have offered to be her midwifes and she accepted. The Monday after we got back we had several more graduation practices and went to Ellen and Emily's preschool graduation. They start princess kindergarten in the fall and Elsie will be in year 3. we are all looking forward to the summer we have lots of event to attend including royal visits a trip to the place where I was born and so much more. After practice I went to the clinic to help out as Candice was away on royal business. We are all loving the internship and are learning so much.
On Friday mom took me to school early do I could practice the speech I was asked to write with my special princess teacher. We worked for a couple hours before mom came to get me for my haircut. We also got our nails and toenails done which I really really enjoyed as it was relaxing. When we got home mom had me relax in the sensory zone as tonight may wind me up very very big time as I have 2 ceremonies as I also graduate Hexly hall lower form and will start there high school program in September. When mom came to grab me a few hours later I had fallen asleep. She helped me braid my hair and pull it up in a very fancy style then I got dressed in my new red skirt and top. We packed a bag with my Hexly hall robe and a black skirt set as that graduation is an hour and a half after royal preps.
We arrived at school an hour before the ceremony so that I could practice my speech a couple more times. When everyone else arrived we all got in to our spots and waited to be called I gave my speech it was scary but I did it. We then each received our diplomas and a few other awards. When it was done we headed to the other graduation where we did the same things except I didn't have a speech. We all earned our 2nd degree magic certificate which is pretty cool. We all celebrated at Adair's family diner which was tons and tons of fun when I got home mom and dad gave me a certificate for a new wand as we have graduated from our training wands. We will go have mine picked for me in a couple days along with me getting a new broom.
A couple days later mom and I went to a local witch and warlock shop where we found me an amazing broom. And I got my adult wand its 14 inches long made of oak and has a unicorn heart string. I also helped with several more deliveries and we found out mom is expecting again and is due next spring. We had an amazing school year and hope next year is just as amazing.
