Hello friends I know it has been a while but I have been busy I moved in September and then I hit writer's block and had no specific ideas for the story. One moment Alexis was at the bar drinking away her sorrows the next she is an X-wing with Poe going back to the rebel base. She looked out of the window past Poe's head and looked out at the sky. She had forgotten how the stars lit up the entire sky and were in awe by it. She leaned forward her face a few inches away from Poe's. Poe looked at her and smiled, "Missed the view, Kid?"

Alexis nodded, "You're not really able to see anything in the city, not like this. It is something." Her eyes wandered and her mind went with her. She thought about Ben, she leaned back in her chair and thought about his eyes meeting hers when she was on earth. The first time they had been connected since she left. Why then? Then there was the fact that at some point she was going to have to see him again in person. She did not have any idea how that interaction would occur it could be a sweet reunion or a violent one.

"You okay?" Poe asked, "You got really quiet all of the sudden."

"There are a lot of people who will want answers for where I ran off to and why I left. Also, I am walking into the battle of the First Order. Straight to Kylo Ren." Alexis muttered as they were approaching a planet, she was unfamiliar with she assumed that was where the new rebel base was.

"If you're worried about Kylo Ren you shouldn't be you know Finn, Rey, and I will protect you and Leia will also make sure that you are not in the hands of Kylo Ren again," Poe said and took a second to look back at her and smiled. "I promise."

Alexis smiled back and nodded as they began their descent to the landing deck. "Sparky,"

Alexis, "Yeah?"

"Welcome Home," He landed the X-flight with great ease and she saw people lining up around the X-Wing. The hatch opened and Alexis breathed in the fresh air. She unstrapped and followed Poe out of the Wing. Poe helped her down and as her feet hit the floor, she was gripped into a bear hug knocking the wind out of her lungs. "Alexis, "She wrapped her hands around the body to return the embrace. "I was so glad to hear that you were alright!" realizing that the voice belonged to Finn.

"Yeah, I'm alright, "She pulled away to face him and held his face in her hands, "I'm glad to see that you're alright too. Last I saw you, you had tubes everywhere!" A growl pulled her gaze toward where the sound was coming from and her smile grew wider, "Chewie!" She ran up to get lifted off the ground by the Wookie as he howled in celebration. Chewie spun her around causing her to giggle as she placed her down and patted her causing her to giggle. She looked around the crowd and turned to Finn and Poe pulling apart from an embrace, "Where's Rey?"

Poe and Finn looked at each other and back at her. "She left and went back to Jakku," She spun around and was greeted by General Leia. Alexis' brow furrowed at the news of Rey's whereabouts. Leia smiled and embraced Alexis. "Welcome back," She whispered in her ear.

Alexis smiled and she pulled away from the embrace. "Good to be back," she was happy to see the familiar faces and new ones as well.

There was a pat on her hand and returned her gaze back to Leia, "You have had a long trip go get some rest." Alexis nodded turned and looped her arms between Poe's and Finn's and the trio walked into the base and the two men walked her to her room.

"Get some rest Sparky we will see you in the morning." The two boys kissed both sides of her cheeks and walked to their own room. As Alexis shut the door and threw the small bag she brought on the floor and plopped on her cot her back against the wall, she closed her eyes and took in a deep breath, the familiar scent of the base filling her nostrils. A feeling of comfort and peace overwhelmed her.

"You have been gone for quite some time, where did you disappear to?" Alexis opened her eyes and was greeted by familiar brown eyes.

"Away," Alexis wrapped her arms around her legs and rested her head on her knees. "Far away." She took in Kylo's unreadable face, his beautiful eyes held pain, anger, and some form of happiness or elation she could not decipher.

"Without saying a word to anyone I hear." Kylo turned his back to her hands clasped behind him. His tall frame towering over hers even from the distance they were at. "Except one."

"Why are you here, Ben? Because interrogating me about your mother helping me leave and go back home for a year can't be all that interesting to you, Commander." Her tone was more aggressive than she would have liked it to be.

Kylo turned around and walked toward her he approached her on the bed and Alexis scooched back fleshed up against the wall. Kylo reached out toward her and grabbed her hips bringing her closer to him. Their faces only inches apart from each other, Alexis breath shortened as their foreheads were close to touching. "Watch your tone, Princess." The intensity of his eyes met her and caused her to bite her lip and try to scootch back more, but his hands gripped tightly into her hips keeping her in place. "You asked why I'm here? That the general helping you leave wouldn't interest me. You think so little of me?" Alexis looked away, Kylo's hand grabbed her face to look back at him, "Everything you do, interests me, Princess," He paused and released his grip of her inching his face away from hers, her body feeling cold from the lack of his touch. "As to why I am here, you and I don't seem to have control over when the force connects us. So, there is no reason why I showed up but I did have questions. You were gone and I couldn't feel your presence in the force anymore until a few days ago. I thought you had…"

Alexis who was looking down at the floor snapped her head up at his words, his eyes glossed over but refused to let any tears fall. "Dead. You thought I was dead?" He nodded and his back straightened shaking off the emotions becoming stoic again. Alexis slowly got off the bed and walked towards Kylo she grabbed his face with both of his hands and kissed him. He wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her close reciprocating the kiss.

All too soon Alexis fell forwards and landed on the floor. She pushed herself up and sat on the floor. Kylo was gone as quickly as he arrived. She brushed a hand to her lips missing the taste of his and she stood up and walked over to the cot she was in desperate need of sleep. Once her head hit the pillow she fell into a dreamless sleep.
