Inside of Waldo's old house, was a zany stand-off between Sean, who is Waldo's dad, and the Warner siblings, but upon this, Sean had a grenade in his hand. Yakko, standing protectively in front of his siblings and cousin.

"Wait! Think about what you're doing bud," said Yakko. Sean evilly chuckled at this.

"I am…." said Sean. He then pulled the pin of the grenade, causing the Warners to freeze in fear.

"WALDO DO SOMETHING!" Yelled Lakko. Waldo froze in fear as he knew the grenade would go off in seconds. Gripping his mallet and the dagger he took from Sean, he then aimed at Sean. All of a sudden, the world around him seemingly stopped and he then heard a voice talking to him.

"Waldo…" the voice called out. Waldo stepped back in shock as the voice spoke to him, but he quickly recognized the voice.

"It's you, from earlier, you sound so familiar," said Waldo.

"I am familiar, I'm your family," said the voice. Waldo eyes then grew in the size of dinner plates upon hearing this. His eyes then began to fill with tears.

"Mom?" Asked Waldo.

"Yes, hello my zany little boy," said Waldo's mom.

"Mom, h-how are you doing this?" Asked Waldo.

"Now's not the time Waldo, you need to save your cousins," Waldo's mom said. Waldo then glanced back at the Warner siblings as they were frozen in time, then he glanced back at Sean, who was still holding the live grenade.

"You're right! But I don't know what to do," said Waldo.

"Aim for the grenade," said Waldo's mom. Waldo's heart then dropped at hearing this.

"WHAT?!" That's crazy!" Said Waldo.

"I'm pretty sure you mean zany," said Waldo's mom. Waldo slightly chuckled at this, but he quickly recuperated into a serious tone.

"Why would I aim for the grenade?!" If I hit it, it'll blow up instantly, I think," said Waldo.

"Exactly, your dad will blow up instantly, but you five will survive," said Waldo's mom. Waldo then began to think….

"This is insane! What if we don't survive?! But, I don't have a choice, aim for the grenade it is then. I wonder if my mom is as zany as me and the others."

"I can hear you!" Said Waldo's mom.

"What?! You heard what I was thinking?!" Asked Waldo. His mom's voice then let out a sigh.

"Anyway, good luck son, and….goodbye," said Waldo's mom.

"WAIT!" Yelled Waldo.

"Yes Waldo?" Asked Waldo's mom.

"Before you go, I just wish….that I could see you in person, that I could actually touch and hug you mom," said Waldo.

"Me too," said Waldo's mom in a sad tone.

"I love you mom," said Waldo.

"I love you too son, now save your family," said Waldo's mom.

"Alright, I can do this," said Waldo. The world then began to return to normal time speed.

"WALDO DO SOMETHING!" Yelled Lakko. Waldo then realized he's back in normal time as he gripped the dagger tighter and aimed it at Sean. Sean then looked a little scared at seeing this. Waldo then took a deep breath and…..threw the dagger at Sean, the hallway then turned silent. Sean then checked himself and found that he was unharmed.

"Hahahaha! You missed!" Said Sean. Waldo then smirked at hearing this.

"Did I tell you before?" Said Waldo, resting his mallet over his shoulders. He then pointed at Sean's hand where the grenade was still in, but the dagger pierced through it. Waldo then turned towards his cousins and said….

"RUN!" The Warners then ran down the hallway as fast as they could and hid inside a closet, as for Sean, witnessing the others running his heart then filled with dread as he looked at his hand where the pierced grenade was.

"You son of a bi-" before he could finish, BOOM! The grenade exploded in a fireball rage, instantly obliterating Sean.

The Warners were cuddled up in the closet as they heard the grenade go off, shaking the house in the process. Everyone cuddled protectively against one another as the grenade rattled the house.

"Hold on sibs!" Said Yakko. Soon, the shaking and rumbling stopped and the house slightly went quiet. Everyone was still holding on to each other as they slightly trembled in fear.

"I'm gonna open the door," said Yakko to the others. "Stay behind me."

"What else are we gonna do?" Said Lakko in a smart-aleck tone. Yakko then slowly opened the closet door and the others peered over his shoulder and managed to see what was outside.

"Woah…!" The warner quintet said in unison. They looked and saw the floor with giant holes, fire and smoke down the hallway, nearby they saw the staircase completely cut in half and blocked by debris. The Warners then looked at each other in concern.

"What are we gonna do?! What are we gonna do?! What are we gonna do?! Why did I aim at that grenade?! WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!" Panicked Waldo. Dot then moved closer to him and slapped him across the face, immediately calming him down as the slap left a red mark on his face.

"Calm down kid! We just have to find an exit point!" Said Dot.

"Where are we gonna find an exit point in all this?" Asked Lakko as he pointed to the almost destroyed hallway.

"What about the window in Waldo's old room?" Asked Wakko. "The one we found him in."

"Good idea Wakko….for once," said Yakko. He then looked down the hallway to find the door. The smoke burning his eyes as he scanned the hallway. "Where is it?"

"All the way down there," said Waldo, pointing to a door at the end of the fiery hallway, pieces of debris blocked off the way, collapsed door from the other rooms as fire was raging through some of them.

"How are we gonna get down there?!" Exaggerated Dot.

"Well we simply just walk down there of course," said Yakko.

"That's zany!" Said Waldo. "I like it already." Yakko smiled at this as he grabbed Waldo's hand.

"Ready?" Yakko said to the others.

"Ready!" Said the others in unison. Everyone then stepped out of the closet and into the fiery hallway. They then slowly, almost tiptoed down the hallway, careful not to make any more debris fall in their way. Then the house shook again and a nearby window from the bathroom exploded into glass shards as the fire then covered up the bathroom.

"The house is collapsing! We have to hurry!" Said Waldo. Everyone then tiptoed quicker down the hallway, while avoiding the fallen debris, but as they were, a piece of the ceiling came falling down towards Waldo.

"Micah! Watch out!" Yelled Lakko, he then lunged at Waldo, knocking him out of the way as the debris fell to the floor and crumbled into pieces.

"Are you ok?" Asked Lakko in a worried state.

"Yeah, thanks!" Said Waldo. Lakko then picked up Waldo and they continued down the surprisingly long hallway. Smoke was burning in their eyes, as well as the fire slightly burning their fur. Finally they made it to Waldo's old bedroom. Lakko then touched the nob, and he yelled in pain.

"What's wrong?" Asked Dot. Lakko then showed his gloved hand, as it showed his fur, which was partially burned with red and charred marks.

"Knob…..too….hot...have to…..find….another way….in!" Said Lakko gritting his teeth through the pain.

"Great! Now what?" Said Dot in frustration. Wakko then got an idea in his head, this was rare. He then stood in front of the door and pulled out his mallet.

"Stand back," said Wakko. The others did as he said. He then took a deep breath and swung the mallet full force into the door, causing an explosion from it. The others screamed as the explosion knocked them down to the floor.

"Is….everyone...o-ok?" Asked Yakko, coughing.

"I'm ok!" Said Waldo.

"Me too!" Said Lakko.

"Me three!" Said Dot. She then turned her attention to Wakko, who was knocked down on the floor from the explosion, while still holding his mallet.

"Wakko, come on get up!" Dot demanded. Wakko groaned as he forced himself up to his feet. Lakko then ran towards Wakko and gave him a hug.

"You have me worried! Don't ever scare me like that again!" Said Lakko.

"Will do!" Said Wakko with a tongue smile.

"We have a problem!" Said Waldo. He then pointed to his old bedroom as it was engulfed with smoke and a little fire, while pieces of small debris were falling from the ceiling.

"We can do this sibs! We're the Warners!" Said Yakko with determination.

"Warners always find a way!" Everyone said in unison. They then held each other's hand and dived head first into the smoke-y room. The smoke was overwhelming their vision, causing their eyes to tear up and was choking off the air to their lungs. Finally they saw a faint of moonlight barely shining through the room.

"It's the window!" Said Waldo. He then guided his cousins to the broken window. Once at the window, they each started climbing out, one by one.

"You first Yakko," said Waldo. Yakko, without a word then climbed out of the room, through the window and jumped down to the side yard.

"I'm ok!" Said Yakko from below. Next, Lakko then did the same as Yakko caught him before he hit the ground.

"Thanks Yakko," said Lakko. Next, Wakko jumped out of the window and into the arms of Yakko.

"Thanks big brother," said Wakko. All that was left was Dot and Waldo, but as Waldo was about to climb out, another explosion happened inside the house, causing the wall structure over the window to slightly collapse. Waldo reacted quickly and held the debris with his hands over the window.

"Go!" Said Waldo, struggling to talk.

"What about you?" Dot asked.

"I'll be fine, hurry! I don't know how much longer I can hold this," said Waldo. The wall structure around the window then began to fall closer to them. Dot then began to crawl out the window, but quickly turned around.

"I can't leave you here! You'll suffer!" Said Dot. Waldo then got an idea, he pulled out a mallet from his hammer space and put it between the window and the wall debris. He then looked Dot in the eyes.

"Don't worry Dot, I'll be ok," said Waldo. Dot then stared at Waldo for a long moment, she then smiled all of a sudden and moved her head closer to Waldo's.

"Dot…" said Waldo in a dreamy state. He then moved his head toward Dot and they pressed each other's lips against one another. They both then closed their eyes and savored the kiss. Waldo's tail wagged as a tear rolled down his cheek, they then separated the kiss.

"I'm sorry Dot," said Waldo sadly. He then pushed Dot out of the window and she began falling to the ground. The debris then collapsed in front of the window and Waldo was now stuck in the room.

"MICAH! NOOO!" Yelled Dot. Her brothers looked on as Lakko's brother instincts kicked in.

"DOT!" Yelled Lakko. He then managed to dive and catch Dot before she hit the ground.

"Dot! Are you ok?!" Asked Lakko. Her facial expression told the story, she was scared, worried, and somewhat angry.

"No! Micah! He's still in there!" Said Dot.

Waldo made his way into the smoking hot hallway. He slightly began to hyperventilate as he was stuck in the house.

"Ok! Ok! Ok! Don't panic, just breathe," Waldo told himself. He then began to take a slow deep breath, not caring that the smoke was slightly getting in his lungs.

"There has to be another way out!" He said. He then began to scan the hallway to find another exit. All he saw was debris, the demolished staircase, and shards of glass.

"I can't find anything! Nothing but that partially open window in the bathroom," said Waldo to himself. He then heard himself say it again. "A PARTIALLY OPEN WINDOW IN THE BATHROOM?!" Waldo then ran towards the other end of the hallway and to the bathroom, where he saw the window, but standing in his way were glass shards on the floor.

"Great? Just….great!" Waldo said to himself. He then began to carefully tiptoe across the hot bathroom floor, slightly burning the bottom of his feet, while also trying to avoid the glass shards. After what seemed like an eternity, he finally made it to the window. He then jumped into the bathtub and managed to pull himself to the window. He then pulled out his mallet and slammed it into the window.

"COME ON!" he yelled. He hit the window with the mallet again.

"I'M CAN DO THIS!" he yelled again. The window then exploded in a glass spray, causing him to fall back into the bathtub. A piece of glass shard slashed across his leg and face, drawing blood. He then began to feel himself drifting into an unconscious state. Just before he closed his eyes, he then began to feel the urge to push, and he did. He then jumped at an unnatural speed and slammed full force into the window and through it. He then found himself plummeting to the grass on the side of the house.

"AAAAAAHHH!" He screamed. He then landed back first onto the ground. The impact made him dizzy and confused. He then managed to roll on his stomach and crawl a few yards away from the house with all his remaining strength. Once he stopped, he felt himself slowly drifting unconscious as his eyelids began to get heavier. Before passing out, he saw four figures running towards him.

"MICAH!" The voices were his cousins the warner brothers and the warner sister. Waldo then smiled as his cousins made their way to him.

"Cousins….." Waldo then slumped face first into the ground. The warners then ran by his side they were already starting to tear up, especially Dot.

"Waldo! WALDO! WAKE UP!" Dot demanded, but Waldo wouldn't open his eyes. Lakko then appeared next to Dot and put his head on Waldo's chest.

"It's fine, he's still alive, but he's unconscious, we have to get out of here!" said Lakko. "Yakko picked him up!" Yakko then picked up Waldo in a shoulder hold and they then walked out of the yard of the house. They then turned around and witnessed the house slowly collapse to the ground from the fire.

"Woah! That was a close one sibs," said Yakko.

"Maybe a little too close," said Lakko. Dot then snarled a little as she was worried about Waldo.

"Excuse me! But we have to get Waldo and ourselves out of here!" said Dot in an irritated tone.

"Right!" said Lakko. "But how? Aren't we stuck here?" Dot then pulled out a small chip from her skirt.

"The portal chip! I forgot about that!" said Lakko.

"When do you not forget anything!" said Dot. "Now, let's get out of here!" She then pressed the button on the chip, then it began to float in the air and open up a portal, illuminated with light.

"Let's go home!" said Yakko. They then stepped into the portal and after a few moments, they emerged on the other side and found themselves back into ACME Labs. Upon seeing this, they also saw Pinky, Brain, Slappy, and Skippy sitting at nearby chairs. Once they saw the warners they immediately ran towards them.

"YOU'RE BACK! NARF!" exclaimed Pinky.

"Took you long enough!" said Slappy in a grumpy tone. Skippy then appeared next to her and saw the warners.

"Wow, whatever was on the other side of that portal really did a number on you four," said Skippy. Brain then appeared next to Pinky and inspected the warners.

"Incredible! I am a genius!" said Brain. "Did you find the kid?" He then noticed Yakko holding Waldo in his arms, his body slumped in an almost lifeless position.

"I-I-Is he….?" before Pinky could finish, Brain cut him off.

"No Pinky, don't be absurd!" said Brain. Slappy and Skippy then saw Waldo and Skippy immediately began to cry.

"No….it can't be!" said Skippy crying. Slappy even made a sad face as she saw Waldo's face. His slightly charred face and cuts on it sent a wave of sadness through her.

"Poor kid, he didn't deserve any of that," she said with gratitude. Lakko then spoke up.

"He's still alive, but we have to get him back to the tower, like ASAP!" said Yakko.

'Can we come too?" asked Skippy. The warners nodded their heads in agreement.

"Can we go too Brain? Oh please, pretty please?!" asked Pinky. Brain let out a sigh at hearing this.

"Well I guess taking over the world can wait," Brain said. Pinky then hugged Brain.

"Thanks Brain! NARF!" he said happily. Slappy then picked the two mice and everyone else began to walk out of ACME Labs and into the night. After several minutes of walking, they made it back to the tower and climbed up it. Wakko then opened the door and everyone quickly ran inside. Yakko then walked down the hallway and into their bedroom, and carefully placed Waldo in the bed. Dot pulled out some leftover ACME cream, pulled Waldo's hoodie off, leaving him naked and applied the cream on Waldo's face, arms, torso, and legs. Almost instantly, the wounds and charred marks began to disappear.

"He's good as new!" said Dot. Lakko then appeared next to her and looked at Waldo, holding back tears.

"I'm sorry I did this Waldo, I'll never let you out of my sight again," he said sadly. Wakko then pulled the bed covers over Waldo so that he wouldn't be cold. A few seconds later, Slappy, Skippy, Pinky, and The Brain appeared in the room.

"So, now what?" asked Slappy. The warners looked at each other sadly as there was only one answer to that.

"Now….we wait." said Wakko.
