Chapter 10: GUNS AND SHIPS!
"FIVES! I'M GONNA KILL YOU!"! Echo yelled, enraged. His vod had filled his pillowcase with shaving cream, instead of his pillow, and Fives had taken the pillow for his own. He had found out when he woke up, making him extremely cranky. It was such a "Fives" thing to do! Echo looked around, his brothers flinching from the look of murderous rage that was on his face.
Since it was breakfast, everyone had filed into the mess. Echo would find him and extract his revenge!
Echo barged in. He scanned the room quickly. Fives was hiding well.
"What are you doing, Echo?" Gizmo asked, held up behind him, various people giving him death stares.
"Echo, I'm hungry, and it's French Toast Day. Move." Caram said, behind Gizmo, annoyed.
"Sorry."Echo apologized, moving away from the entrance so people could go through.
Once everyone behind him had passed through, and had given him complementary glares, Echo scanned the room again. He still couldn't find Fives. Hmm. Searching for crazy ideas, Echo remembered what Caram had said. In a flash of probably insane inspiration, "French", came to mind. Hmm. Oh wait, no, no, no, no, no.
"Desperate times call for desperate measures."Echo muttered, dreading that it had come to this.. Then, mustering all his loudness, he yelled. "EVERYONE GIVE IT UP FOR AMERICA'S FAVORITE FIGHTING FRENCHMAN!"
The whole mess hall erupted in "LAFAYETTE!"
Fives jumped up on a table and sang "I'm taking this horse by the reins, making redcoats redder with bloodstain-oh no." He had noticed Echo from across the room. He jumped off the table just like Daveed Diggs, and with pure speed, bolted.
Fives was screwed.
Rowan(me): HAHAHA! Forget History, Fives! Echo has his eyes on you!
Fives: Some fanfic writer you are.
Rowan: I am not "some fanfic writer". I am a fine purveyor of Hamiltrash and TCW silliness.
Fives: Well, can I at least hide in your closet from Echo?
Rowan: Fine. Goodbye, Everyone!
