Onward! To The Aisle of Armor!

A/N: This Fan Fiction is based on the Galar region and games (Sword/Shield) featuring CanonXOC

"Oh, ho ho so SHINY~!" Hop beamed as he threw himself onto Anani's bed after helping her into her room, "Seems they roomed us separate, neighbor." he stated, "My number is right next door."

"Probably for the sake of the Competition." said Anani as she dropped her bags and threw herself onto the bed, laying beside him, "All of us Gym Challengers are rivals now." she stated, "Can't exactly have rivals rooming together, all up in each other's space and learning strategies." she teased.

"True." Hop chuckled, "Still camping together in the Wild Area was fun!"

"Maybe so." Anani laughed, "But after sleeping on a futon mattress in your shed, and the cold uneven ground in a tent, it will sure be nice to have a bed." she grinned.

"Right well, I'll leave you to it then." Hop chuckled as he sat up, "I'm gonna go settle up in my own room, then after maybe we can go out and experience a bit of Motosoke together, aye?"

"Sounds good, Hop." she chuckled as she rolled into herself and curled in her bed, "Mmm but take your time...this is mighty comfy."

"Right so hurry up then? Got it!" he teased and left out of the room with a wave. She was alone now in her room. It was a nice suite. Very spacious and elegantly decorated. She almost didn't want to leave it. But Hop was never known for his patience...so she figured she better polish herself up too.

"Top of the morning, Anani!"

"Top of the morning, Hop." she stated, "Though it's more close to lunch time I think."

"Bah, well it's still early enough." he chuckled. "The opening ceremony isn't until tomorrow." he said, "Our journey begins the day after, so..." he blinked, "We still have two days to spare, what do you suppose Motostoke can have to offer us in that time?" he asked as he began scrolling through his phone for ideas when the exasperated murmerings of passers by tickles his ears in the hallway as they walked together.

"They say there's a rare Poke'mon at the station blocking the tracks again." one stated, "Hopefully they can get it back safely and travel can continue like normal."

"Rare Poke'mon." Hop blinked and shifted a hazel eyed Gaze to Anani before taking on a big grin.

Uh-Oh...Hop's getting that look he gets when he gas a "brilliant" idea...

"Here's a brilliant idea!" he said.

There he goes!

She thought. And without even explaining himself further he quickly grasped her hand in his and took off in a dash.

"Hop, are you sure about this!?" Anani huffed, trying to speak while running with Hop was hard.

"Why not?" he asked, "We were just wondering what we could do to pass the time and this popped up like fate!" he grinned. They rushed into Motostoke station and instantly Hop began darting his head around in rapid search.

"Now then...where could this rare Poke'mon be?"

Of course it didn't take long to find the one thing out of place.

"Slooooooooooow...poke"

"That's an odd looking Slowpoke indeed." Anani blinked.

"Oh wow." said Hop as his eyes landed on it as well, "That's a Galarian Slowpoke for you." he blinked.

But that wasn't the only like that was odd at the station. There were two rather colorful characters there that stood out above anyone else as well.

"Oh dear..." said the girl, "Another one of the cute little Slowpoke made an escape again!" she hair was a pink puff bob and she seemed to wear way too much makeup. And something about that cutsey demeanor of hers seemed fake to Anani, but what did she really know?

"I dare say, the Slowpoke from home are simply elegant~" said the blonde male next to her. He wore a tall top hat, and spoke and moved like a dandy gent.

"Dear Me..." the station master sighed, "It seems another Slowpoke hopped the train and escaped the Aisle of Armor again..." he sighed, "I don't suppose you would mind taking it back with you?"

"But of course not~" the female beamed, "It would be an absolute pleasure to bring this cutie home safe!"

"The Aisle of Armor?" Anani blinked, "What's that."

"I heard of th Aisle of Armor!" said Hop, "Lee trained there I believe."

"Really?"

"Well, we're off back home to the Aisle of Armor then~" The woman chuckled as she lured the Slowpoke to follow her.

"Not to worry kiddies." said the male, "The adults can handle it from here~" he grinned and soon joined her both waving as the doors slid shut.

"The Aisle of Armor..."Hop blinked just before getting yet another brilliant idea, "We should go!" he grinned.

"Say what, now?" Anani blinked, "I don't know Hop...do you think we have the time?" she asked, "What about the Gym Challenge?"

"We've got plenty of time." said Hop, "It's still early in the day, and the opening ceremony isn't until tomorrow." he stated, "Plus, if we take a Flying Taxi, we could be there in half the time." he smiled as he showed Anani the map.

"Well...sll right then..." she said awkwardly, "It could be fun...besides...I've never been on a flying taxi..."

"Brilliant!" Hop grinned and clasped her hand in his, "Let's go then! This is gonna be wicked!"

That was an understatement. Anani couldn't resist a squeal as they were fastened into the Air Taxi riding bench and the Corvicknight took off.

"Easy does it, mate!" Hop laughed as he casually placed an arm draped warmly around her shoulders while he pointed down, "Check it...we can see all of Galar!" he beamed, "And look there!" he grinned as he pointed down at an Island they seemed to be approaching, "That must be the Aisle of Armor!" he grinned, "See I told you a Flying Taxi would get us there in half the time!" he stated, "We still have so much of the day ahead left to explore!"

"This is...amazing!" Anani beamed, excitement sending chills through her, along with the chill of the cool breeze of the sky.

"Prepare yourself~!" said Hop, "We're going down!" Hop laughed and threw his arms up as though he were on some kind of ride at the them park as the Corvicknight made its decend,"JERONIMO!"
