Chapter Ten
Taking out his cell phone to talk softly in the corner. He brought up the number belonging to Willie Lopez. He was sitting outside the public library in Manhattan meeting up with a friend of his from many years ago with the Naval seals.
Popping seeds into his mouth as per his habit of trying to help stop smoking. So far it's been helping even though the aspect was the fact he's going to be gaining weight from eating all of the time. Even though he's 5 feet 9 inches and weight 175 pounds.
While he was sitting on the grey bench. His cell phone was going off from inside his leather jacket and for which he takes out to look at the caller I.D. It was Alex Roberts calling him to give him the additional information. "This is Willie how can I help you, Alex?"
"I want you to call Gibbs to have him meet you at the Alexandra park near the water fountain and the small lake. As per what I have told you, I want you to convince him that you have further information on Alex Roberts and Jose Juan Hernandez. And you want only him to give the Intel in person or else you won't show up at the scene. Myself and the rest of my associates will take over with taking him out if possible."
"When is this to go down?" Willie will needed to asked since he needed to be sure with having the file sitting next to his computer terminal at his apartment in Manhattan.
"Five hours. I want you to call him now whether or not his voicemail picks up. I understand that 99% of the time he will answer."
"I will do it Alex. However what about the additional funds I asked for?" He needed to know since he had already received the first installment only yesterday into his account given to Alex.
"When the job is done once you lure him to the park." He hangs up the phone on Willie sitting stewing on the bench. Searching for Gibbs number in his contacts. He brings it up onto the screen to press the send button...
Gibbs and Loreile had been finishing up with the Chinese food sitting on the couch with his cell-phone on vibrant through he was dead set against it with turning it off only to annoy Loreile even further.
His phone started to vibrant when he picked it up from the marble coffee table that was new. Loreile had given him a stare while finishing up her egg roll. He looked at the caller I.D. to not believe that it was an snitch of his. "I don't believe this it's Willie Lopez." He said with lifting up his flip phone to talk with him. "Hey! Bro it's been awhile Willie What's up for you to be calling me?" He will look over at Loreile expecting trouble and will be getting it later or maybe?
"Listen Gunnery I have valuable Intel for you from the streets in regard to your arch enemy Jose Juan Hernandez and his new friend Alex Roberts." He will say with watching out for his friend to arrive.
"What about them Willie? How did you know that Hernandez is trying to kill me with revenge?" Gibbs will make mention to have Loreile curiosity kicking in one again.
"Because it's all over the streets bro. I have a file for you that is to be given only to you and no one else or else forget it. This file has all kinds of movement for when it comes to his Cartel and weapon pipeline that he's setting up. I need for you to meet me at the Alexandra park near the large water fountain and lake in four hours. Understand ? Or I don't give you the information that is valuable to you, NCIS and even SECNAV. What do you say gunnery?" He waited for his answer checking his watch to be nine o'clock for the meet.
Gibbs as well checked his watch to be set for nine o'clock for the meeting with Willie Lopez. "I will be there Willie. Just make sure there won't be any slip ups with this meeting or I won't be showing up at all Willie. See you at Nine. Later!" He hung up the phone to be prepared for the fight from his wife.
She didn't say a word knowing that Gibbs might of have a back up plan before he even tries to meet with Willie Lopez. He brought up another number to speak with Director along with McGee and Nick Torres to be dressing in fatigues to blend in the part especially at night. While McGee will be walking in jogging sweats as with Bishop to check out the perimeter of the water fountain and small crystal lake.
After spending thirty minutes on the phone he needed to stretch his muscles with moving up from the couch while Loreile was finishing up the last of the dishes made by the Chinese delivery. "Don't even say it Jethro to me. Do what is necessary in order for you to do your job and that's it. I don't have nothing else to say right now other then fact I have writing that needs to be done." She turned to face him with pushing him out of the way while being late in her pregnancy.
"Stop it Loreile already. Yes you're right it's my job. But I also did the right thing with letting Director Vance know as with getting McGee and Bishop to help out with keeping an eye out on me in case it's some sort of a trap. But what I don't understand is to why Willie would get hooked up with Alex Roberts or even Hernandez?"
"Greed Gibbs or he had no choice with being blackmailed. It could be one of many different reasons. But you won't know for sure if you don't go and find out." Loreile will make mention with walking away to head for her laptop to begin writing...
