Alright, guys, we're getting into new territory here with Aang's and Katara's relationship. I decided I will write lemon later on in this story, but I've never written lemon, so it might be kinda... well not as good. I'll try my best though. Ask me any questions if you have any. Enjoy!

A/N: I've been thinking about the future of this story. After I finish this one, I was planning on writing another story called "The Gaang During College," It will have stuff like the Gaang's reaction to Aang being the Avatar. I also wanted to write another story called "The Tales of Kataang" It will be a collection of one-shots of Aang and Katara behind the scenes of the story. Like little cute moments and conversations that would take place during Kataang's junior and senior year. Let me know what you guys think.

I don't own ATLA or anything else in this story. Don't sue me.

"What time does your meet start?" Katara questioned.

"At 5:00, I asked my coach if I could ride with you guys to Woodward park and he said it's fine," Aang replied, causing his girlfriend to smile.

"Great! Let's go to my brother's car," She ordered. They reached for each other's hands and intertwined their fingers. They began walking to Sokka's car. Once they arrived, they found Sokka already in his car. Aang opened the door to the back seat for Katara and she thanked him before entering the car. Aang nodded and followed her. Once they were settled, Aang closed the door and spoke.

"My meet isn't until another hour and a half. We should eat somewhere," Aang said while putting on his seat belt. Katara was sitting in the middle seat and she also put her seatbelt on.

"Now you're speaking my language! Where should we eat?" Sokka said as he turned on his car.

"I'm feeling subway," Aang replied.

"That sounds good," Katara said as she leaned her head on Aang's shoulder. Aang smiled and wrapped his arm around her waist and leaned his head on her head.

"Subway it is," Sokka said as he was backing up.

"Sokka, did you tell anyone what happened with Jet?" Katara questioned.

"No, I did tell Toph, Zuko, and Mai not to ask you anything about why you two were gone. They wanted to know why, but I just said not to and they agreed. They should know whenever you're ready to let them know," Sokka said, earning a smile from his sister.

"That's very thoughtful of you, Sokka. Thank you. You're a really good big brother," She said truthfully, earning a huge smile on her brother's face.

"Did you hear that, Aang! I'm a good brother, she hasn't told me that in years!" Sokka teased, earning an eye roll from his sister.

"Don't make me take it back," She said, trying to sound threatening, but her smile betrayed her.

"No take backsies, sis, sorry," He teased again, earning another eye roll. Katara snuggled into Aang and put her hand on his thigh. "How close can I get?" She thought, she slowly began moving her hand closer and closer to her boyfriend's waist. Aang noticed and blushed, "What is she doing?… it feels good, should I stop her?" He thought. He noticed she wasn't stopping and thought, "We'll see how far she goes," She continued to move her hand and thought "hmmm he's not stopping me, good." Once her hand was all the way up to his thigh, she stopped, "Should I try to get closer to his manhood? Or is that going too far?... I have to initiate everything... but this isn't the time to do that," She thought. Aang smiled and thought, "She stopped… why do I want her to get closer to my manhood? Am I a pervert for wanting that? I mean… I would never let another girl do that… This is confusing" About 10 minutes later, Sokka arrived at Subway. The trio exited the car and went inside to order their food. After they were finished they decided to eat at the sibling's house. They got their food and returned to Sokka's car. About 15 minutes later, the trio found themselves around the kitchen table eating. Hakoda and Gran joined them.

"I was watching the news earlier today about the salary of the Avatar. Guess how much they get paid," Gran said, trying to start a conversation.

"A billion dollars a year," Sokka guessed.

"No, Sokka, that's why too much money. I guess 500,000 dollars a year," Katara said.

"I think 1,000,000 dollars per year," Aang said.

"Nope, their starting salary is 750,000 dollars a year. And each year they get a 50,000 dollar raise if the world is at peace," Gran answered.

"For real? That's a lot of money. I would like to be the Avatar," Hakoda said with a chuckle.

"Me too, I would buy so many clothes with that money," Katara said, earning a chuckle from everyone.

"What would you do if you had that kind of money?" Katara asked her brother.

"Video games, and shoes. I would also go to all the NBA games," Sokka replied before taking another bite out of his sandwich.

"Of course, what about you dad?" Katara questioned.

"I would use it to put you two through college, buy a new car, and take all you guys out on a nice vacation," Hakoda answered, making his kids happy that their dad cared so much about them.

"That would be so nice," Sokka replied.

"Aang?" Katara asked.

"Well, first I would buy a bed frame and some furniture for my house," Aang joked, earning a laugh from everyone.

"That's a given. What else?" Katara asked.

"Invest it and donate all the profits to charity," Aang answered truthfully, causing Everyone to smile because Aang was always so nice.

"Of course you would, and I love you because of it," Katara said before giving her boyfriend a kiss on the cheek. Sokka rolled his eyes again.

"Being the Avatar must be the coolest thing ever. Imagine being the most powerful human alive? People would worship you as some demi-god," Sokka pointed out.

"It is the coolest thing ever. If I was the Avatar I would be so happy, but I'm not an Air-Nomad," Katara said before taking another bite of her food.

"Aang is. What if it's you, buddy?" Sokka joked, earning a laugh from everyone.

"Doubt it. When did Avatar Roku die anyway?" Aang questioned.

"No one knows. They don't reveal that information because people would try to kidnap babies born on Roku's death date." Gran informed, earning an 'ohhh' from everyone.

"Well, even if Roku did die on my birthday, I know a lot of people born on the same day as me. So the chance of me being the Avatar is super low," Aang said.

"That's true, but it would be cool if you were," Katara said. Aang disagreed with her but decided not to bring up his disagreement because it was foolish. "There's no way I'm the Avatar," He thought. The family spent the next 30 minutes eating and talking about random things.

"Alright, we should go. Coach said to be there 40 minutes early to warm up." Aang said while getting up. Everyone nodded and grabbed their things and walked to Hakoda's car. It was a Honda Pilot that could hold 8 people. Gran sat in the front while Hakoda took the driver's seat. Aang was the first to enter the back seat and Katara was about to follow him until her brother cut her off and entered the car.

"Sokka! Let me sit by Aang," Katara pouted, earning the attention of her family and Aang.

"Sorry, sis. I had enough oogies for today," Sokka replied, making his sister annoyed and angry.

"Oogies?! What does that even mean?" Katara questioned, feeling even more annoyed.

"It's the feeling I get when you two are all lovey-dovey," Sokka answered.

"Ugh! You're so annoying! I don't get all up in your business with Suki," Katara replied while crossing her arms.

"This is different," Sokka responded.

"Arggh! Just let me be happy! Gran! Tell him to let me sit by Aang," Katara ordered. Gran and Hakoda sighed.

"Sokka, just let her be. They won't do anything, and if they do, I'll pull both their ears," Gran said, causing Aang to smile awkwardly, "Is this also how it feels to have a family? I guess having a family has its pros and cons… but it's definitely worth it," Aang thought. Katara smiled and stuck her tongue out at her brother, earning a chuckle from everyone except her brother. Sokka rolled his eyes and let his sister sit next to her boyfriend. Once everyone had their seatbelts on, Hakoda began to back up and headed off to Woodward Park. Katara snuggled with Aang and smiled, he was about to wrap his arm around her waist and bring her closer, but he didn't know if that was okay with Gran and Hakoda, so he just rested his head on her head. Soon enough, they arrived at Woodward park and unloaded their car. Hakoda brought chairs for his family to sit on while they watched Aang run. Aang grabbed his bag and saw a restroom.

"Okay, beautiful. I'm gonna change and warm-up. Meet me at the starting line in 30 minutes." Aang said before kissing Katara on the cheek, causing her to smile.

"I'll be there," She replied. Aang smiled and walked off to the restroom. After he finished changing we found his team and mentally prepared himself for the race. The coach gave him his chip and he put it on quickly before going off to warm up with his team. Meanwhile, Katara and her family found a nice place near the starting line under a tree. They quickly unfolded their chairs and sat down.

"So how do you think Aang will do?" Gran questioned.

"I think he'll get first," Katara answered, earning a chuckle from her dad.

"No bias?" He teased.

"Of course not, Aang's fastest mile is 5:15," Katara replied.

"Really? Aang's fast," Hakoda replied.

"So what else are we doing to Aang's birthday?" Sokka questioned.

"I'm going to make vegetarian food for him and regular food for the rest of you. He said he likes to dance and play games, so we'll do that," Gran answered.

"Dance? I can't dance!" Katara said in a slightly panicked voice

"Then don't dance sweetie, unless Aang wants you too," Hakoda said.

"Exactly! What do I do if he does ask me?" Katara questioned while readjusted herself in her chair.

"Don't worry, sweetie, it'll be fine," Gran replied. "I don't want to embarrass myself!... Whatever right now we have to cheer Aang on," She thought. After 30 minutes Katara got up and went to the finish line to find Aang bouncing on his toes.

"Sweetie? You look ready to run," Katara pointed out. Aang turned his head and smiled at his girlfriend.

"More than ready, but I'm kinda nervous because it's a 5k, which is a little over 3 miles. I haven't ran that in a while. Plus, the coach said there's a really good runner from one of the schools." Aang replied.

"Don't worry, you'll do great. We'll cheer you on, I believe in you," Katara said before getting on her tippy toes to kiss her boyfriend. Aang smiled and leaned down to kiss her. They kissed for a good moment and pulled away.

"Thank you," Aang simply said, earning a huge smile on Katara's face.

"No problem, now go kick some butt!" Katara said with excitement. Aang chuckled and nodded. He turned around and got into his running stance. Katara went back with her family and anxiously waited for the race to begin. A moment later, the gun went off signaling the start of the race.

"WOOOO! LET'S GO AANG!" Katara yelled as loud as she can.

"Oh my god! Katara! You yell so loud!" Sokka said while covering his ears, earning a laugh from her dad and grandmother. Katara smiled sheepishly and sat back down.

"Sorry, I got excited," Katara confessed, earning another laugh from her family.

"Don't worry sweetie, your mother used to yell like that too whenever she was excited," Hakoda said with a smile.

"Really?" She asked. Hakoda nodded and a smile formed on Katara's face. She loved it when her father or grandmother told her how much she is like her mother. It made her feel closer to her and she knew her mother was always with her. Meanwhile, Aang couldn't help but smile at his girlfriend cheer. He had a great start and was currently in 4th place. He made sure to focus on his breathing and form. "Come on Aang, push yourself and you can get 1st," He thought. He continued on his pace and was determined to get first place.

"Sokka, let's go to the 1st-mile marker," Katara ordered. Sokka nodded and they got up to walk to the 1st-mile marker. Once they arrived they saw many coaches and other runners waiting anxiously for their team to arrive. After a couple of minutes, they arrived and Katara saw Aang in 4th place.

"Stay with them Aang! I believe in you!" Katara yelled.

"One at a time!" Sokka yelled. Katara couldn't help but stare at his flawless body, "He is so sexy! And handsome!... The feeling it back… baby steps Katara, baby steps," She thought. She saw her boyfriend pass up one runner and starting clapping.

"WOOO! One down two to go!" Katara cheered on. "For you Katara," Aang thought while taking in a deep breath and ignoring the pain in his legs. The siblings continued to watch until Aang was out of sight.

"Let's go back," Sokka ordered. Katara nodded and went back to sit down with her family.

"How's he doing?" Hakoda questioned as he saw his kids sit down.

"He's in 3rd right now, but I still think he'll get first," Katara said. Hakoda nodded and resumed waiting for the runners to finish. Aang was just finishing his 2nd mile. He just needs one more mile to go and he'll be finished. However, this part of the race is where the winners and losers were separated. It comes down to who wants it more and Aang needed it. He ignored the pain he was feeling throughout his body and decided to slowly pick up the pace. He passed up the guy in second and was determined to get first, but the runner in front of him wanted to win too, and he wouldn't give up easily. Aang assumed it was the runner his coach was talking about. They arrived at a hill and Aang knew this was the best time to pass him up. He pumped his arms and raised knees to cover more ground. However, his opponent did the same, "Damn this guy is good, but I can't give up" He thought. He was still about 3 meters behind him. He decided to keep his distance and pass him up in the last 100 meters of the race.

Katara was on her phone, looking at the pictures she had with Aang until she heard her brother speak.

"There they are!" Sokka said. Katara instantly put her phone away and stood up. She ran closer to the race and saw Aang in 2nd place. They were still about 150 meters until the finish line so Aang didn't kick it into final gear yet.

"COME ON AANG! PASS HIM UP!" Katara yelled as loud as she could, earning some weird looks from other people. "Man, that girl could yell," One of the strangers thought. Katara's words were fuel to Aang's fire. He decided to pick up the pace and sprint to the finish line. "Give it everything you got!" He thought. His opponent saw this and did the same. They both sprinted as hard as they could, however, Aang's height and long legs proved to be an advantage once again. He extended his strides and pumped his arms as quickly as he could. He slowly began to pass his opponent up. His opponent saw this and sprinted even harder. Aang saw that it would take more out of him to pass him up, but he didn't give up. Using the pain of his past and the pain in his legs. He grunted and narrowed his eyebrows. He sprinted so hard and so fast (without his bending) that he knew that no matter what happened, he gave it his all. He finally passed up his opponent and reached the finish line, getting first place.

"WOOO! YOU WON AANG!" Katara said while running up to her boyfriend. She was about to hug him until he collapsed on the ground, huffing, and puffing.

"Are you okay? Use your airbending to catch your breath!" Katara said while kneeling down to examine her boyfriend. Her face filled with worry.

"I can't…. It's still… cheating," Aang answered, in between breaths.

"Oh okay," Katara replied. Aang smiled and tried to catch his breath. After several moments, he finally calmed his breathing.

"I need water," Aang said while trying to get up.

"Let's go get some," Katara replied while helping her boyfriend up. Once Aang got up, he stumbled and almost fell, but Katara caught him.

"Are you okay?" Katara asked, trying to keep her boyfriend upright.

"Yeah, my legs are on fire. Just give me a moment," Aang said with a chuckle, earning a giggle from his girlfriend. After a moment, Aang shooked his legs and was able to stand on his own.

"You did great! You got 1st! I knew you would," Katara said, earning a blush from her boyfriend.

"Thanks, it was harder than I thought. That guy was a great runner," Aang said as they walked to the water fountains.

"But you were better, I'm proud of you," Katara said.

"Thanks, but I couldn't have done it without your cheering and the shoes, thank you," Aang replied truthfully.

"You're welcome," She said while they arrived at the water fountains. Aang bent over and began drinking water like there was no tomorrow. Katara smiled and began examining her boyfriend. His legs were still shaking slightly and his body was covered in sweat. She blushed and felt a fire form between her legs. "The feeling is back again. UGH! He is so hot! Let's do it right here, right now! I don't care!" She thought with a furious blush on her face. She took a deep breath and tried to calm down the feeling between her legs. "Baby steps, Katara, come on control yourself!" She thought. Aang finished and instantly felt Katara tug his shirt down and felt lips on his lips. He was surprised but immediately melted into her kiss. This kiss was different, Aang couldn't put his finger on it, but he loved it. It was their best kiss yet and the longest. After several moments, they pulled away and blushed furiously.

"That was amazing, but where did that come from?" Aang questioned, making Katara's blush even redder.

"I just really wanted to kiss you, that's all," Katara replied, earning a huge smile from her boyfriend.

"Well, you should do it more often," He said while intertwining his fingers with hers and began walking back to the finish/starting line.

"I will," She said while biting her lip. "Something different about her. I like it though," Aang thought. They arrived at their destination and saw their team huddled up.

"There he is! Great job Aang, you left it all out on the race," The coach said while padding him on the back.

"Thanks, but I couldn't have done it without Katara. She got me these running shoes and they help a lot," Aang said while bringing up his hand that was holding Katara's and kissed it. Katara blushed and looked away to hide her blush.

"Well, thank you, Katara! Go do your cool down and you're free to go," The coach ordered. Aang nodded and kissed Katara goodbye.

"I'll meet you with your family," Aang said before turning around to begin his cool down.

"Okay," Katara replied, the feeling between her legs began to finally calm down. She was about to walk away until she heard her name come from behind her. She turned around and saw On Ji, Meng, and Koko talking about her and Aang. "Do these girls really think I can't hear them?" Katara thought. She continued to listen while looking off into nothing.

"Katara and Aangy are together now, so there goes our chance," Koko said sadly.

"Don't give up yet! They might still break up." Meng argued.

"But they look so happy together," On Ji fired back.

"Yeah, but that's because they're still in the honeymoon phase. Trust me, sooner or later Katara will let her temper out and they'll break up," Meng countered.

"Maybe, I guess all we can do is just wait," On Ji replied. Katara heard enough and stormed off, "Who do they think they are? Is my temper really that bad?" She thought while walking towards her family. "What if I do get mad and Aang see's that as a deal-breaker?... I did kinda get mad at him for something he did in my dream. In my dream! What was I thinking?" She scolded herself. She arrived where her family was sitting and sat down. She forced a smile and tried to ignore er previous thought.

"Aang was amazing! Did you see him pass up that one guy, dad? He smoked him!" Sokka said with excitement.

"Yes, I did, son. Aang is one hell of a runner. I'm proud of him," Hakoda said truthfully.

"Me too," Gran chimed in. Katara's smile was less forced now. "Aang said he loves my temper, I have nothing to worry about… right?" She thought. She waited for the next 5 minutes until her boyfriend arrived.

"Alright, I finished," Aang said with a smile. Katara smiled as well and got up to hold hands with her boyfriend.

"Dad? Could Aang and I go for a walk?" Katara said with puppy dog eyes.

"Hmmm, fine, but if I find out you did anything inappropriate with my daughter, Aang. I'll kill you," Hakoda threatened with a stern voice, causing Aang to gulp.

"Hakoda, quit it," Gran said in a motherly voice. She turned to Aang and gave him a warm smile.

"Don't mind him, you two go have fun. I trust you Aang, Okay?" Gran said, making Aang relax.

"I promise I would never do anything you two don't approve of," Aang said truthfully. They nodded and the couple turned around to go for a walk.

"Kisses and hugs only! Kisses on the lips only!" Hakoda yelled, causing his daughter and Aang blush furiously.

"We promise!" Katara yelled back and began to walk faster. Aang chuckled and let her lead the way.

"Sorry, about my dad, he's more protective now because of Jet," Katara said.

"Don't worry about it. He still scares me though," Aang replied with a chuckle, earning a giggle from his girlfriend. Katara noticed the medal around his neck and her eyes widened.

"You got a medal!? Let me see!" Katara ordered with excitement. Aang chuckled and took off his medal and handed it to her.

"Wow, 1st place. Can I wear it?" She questioned, earning another chuckle from Aang.

"Of course," He replied. She eagerly put it on and took out her phone to take a picture.

"Let's take a picture. I'm definitely going to post this on Instagram," Katara said while handing him her phone. She fluffed up her hair and adjusted her clothing. Aang smiled and grabbed it and turned to the nearest person.

"Excuse me? Could you take a picture of us?" Aang asked a random stranger. She nodded and Aang handed her his girlfriend's phone. She grabbed it and pointed the camera towards the lovers.

"Say cheese!" The stranger said. She proceeded to take several pictures before handing Katara's phone back. They thanked the stranger before she went away.

"This is amazing, I love you so much," Katara said.

"I love you, too. You look amazing. Send me that picture," Aang ordered. Katara smiled and nodded. They continued to walk until they were on the edge of the park. They found a bench that was facing the wilderness and sat down. They had privacy because they couldn't spot anyone around them.

"Thank you for coming. You and your family." Aang said.

"You're welcome, we'll try to go to all of your meets," Katara replied while snuggling up with her boyfriend. Aang smiled and wrapped his arm around her waist and brought her closer. She giggled and rested her head on his shoulder. They sat in silence for several moments, just enjoying each other's presence. Aang sighed and broke the silence.

"Can I ask you a question?" He asked.

"Of course," She replied, ready to answer.

"I don't want to bring the mood down… but did you like Jet in the past?" Aang asked in a soft voice. Katara frowned and sat up to look at Aang.

"Why does it matter?" She replied. She didn't want to admit she liked Jet because she was ashamed.

"It doesn't, sorry I asked," Aang replied. He knew Jet was a sensitive subject for Katara and he didn't want to pressure her for an answer.

"Then why did you ask?" Katara questioned, a bit angry. It was mostly at herself for letting Jet smooth talk her.

"I… I heard Hahn and his friends talking about us. He said that you liked guys with tan skin and nice hair. He said that's why you liked Jet." Aang answered. Katara sighed and her anger at herself grew.

"If you already knew I liked Jet before. Then why did you ask? Did you think I would lie to you?" Katara replied bitterly. Aang's face fell and he didn't know what to say. There was a tense silence between them and Aang gathered his thoughts and sighed before speaking.

"I'm sorry, Katara. I was a bit skeptical that you liked Jet, even though Hahn said you did. I just wanted the truth and I knew you would tell me the truth," Aang replied in a soft voice. Katara crossed her arms and looked away with an angry look on her face.

"I did like Jet. He was nice and sweet at first until he revealed his true colors. Happy?" She asked sarcastically before standing up and planning on storming off. However, she was stopped by her boyfriend with a hand on her wrist. She turned around and saw the hurt on his face. Katara's face instantly softened and sat back down, "Sooner or later, Katara will let their temper out, and they'll break up," Katara repeated what Meng said earlier. She felt tears form in her eyes and she instantly brought Aang into a hug.

"I'm so sorry, Aang. I didn't mean to snap at you like that. Please, please don't leave me," She pleaded. Aang returned her embrace and sighed.

"It's okay. It was my fault. I would never leave you," He replied while he felt Katara bury her face in the crook of his neck.

"It's not your fault. It's mine, I should have just answered," She replied, Aang pulled away and saw a few tears on her face. He wiped them away with his thumb and smiled.

"I should've been more sensitive. I know Jet is a sensitive subject and it wasn't my place to ask." He said in a warm voice. Katara smiled and let out a small chuckle.

"Did we just have our first fight?" Katara asked.

"I think so, but let's never do that again. I hate this feeling." Aang replied truthfully. Katara smiled and returned to their cuddling positions.

"Me too, let's never do that again," Katara said while closing her eyes and enjoyed her boyfriend's warmth.

"I'm going to tell you the truth. When Hahn said you liked guys with tan skin and nice hair. It made me feel insecure. Especially when he said 'She deserves a guy who can at least grow hair'… and I know, I know, I'm a hypocrite because I told you this morning not to be insecure, but I couldn't help myself." Aang said, feeling ashamed. Katara rested her hand on his knee and gave it a comforting squeeze.

"I'm also going to tell you the truth. I did like guys with tan skin and nice hair. But that was before I met you. You see… girls base what they like in a guy from what they see around them. And I spent half my life at the south pole, where it's nothing, but guys with tan skin and nice hair. And when I moved to Ba Sing Se, I was attracted to guys with tan skin and nice hair… like Jet." She said the last part shamefully.

"But when I saw you, it was like… like I knew you were the one for me. I loved your tattoos, and I love that you don't have hair. So Hahn is wrong, I deserve a guy that is sweet, understanding, caring, romantic, and so much more… and you're all of that Aang," Katara said truthfully. Aang smiled and brought her into a hug. He hugged her tightly and let out a sigh of relief.

"Thank you so much, Katara. I love you," Aang said, feeling like he was on top of the world. Katara smiled and leaned in for a kiss. Aang returned it and it was their best kiss yet. Each kiss got better than the last, and they were lasting longer. After several moments, they pulled away and touched foreheads.

"I love you, too," She said with a smile. Aang matched it and leaned back on the benched with his arm still wrapped around her.

"Aang? Do you actually love my temper?" Katara questioned.

"I love everything about you, Katara. Even your temper. Like I said you wouldn't love and care so much if you didn't have it," Aang replied.

"So you wouldn't want me to change my temper?" She asked.

"I mean… we can all grow better as human beings. I don't want you to bottle up your emotions so you could change. I think it would be much healthier if you let it out and then let it go," Aang answered. Katara gave him a slight smile and sighed.

"I'm working on it. It's just so hard sometimes," She confessed.

"I know, but you can do it. I believe in you. Plus, I'm still working on my flaws. We'll do it together." Aang replied.

"What flaws? You're perfect." Katara said with a smile. Aang blushed and looked away to hide it.

"I'm far from perfect." He countered.

"Tell me you're flaws. If you have any." Katara ordered.

"I'm bad at English," He teased, earning a playful eye roll from his girlfriend.

"Aang, I'm serious," She replied, earning a chuckle from Aang.

"Well… I can fall into self-pity and be very pessimistic when I'm emotional," He confessed, earning a skeptical look from his girlfriend.

"Give me an example," She said.

"When I said 'hope is a demon'... if you weren't there to knock some sense into me… then I would have spent a long time with that mindset," Aang answered with a sad voice. Katara opened her mouth to argue, but he was right.

"Oh… I guess you're right," She replied.

"But it's okay. I'm getting better. Thanks to you. We make each other better," Aang said with a smile. Katara matched it and snuggled closer into her boyfriend.

"We do make each other better. I asked about my temper because I was insecure about what Meng said," She confessed.

"What'd she say?" Aang asked curiously.

"Katara will let her temper out and they'll break up." She answered.

"That'll never happen I'll never break up with you. Some day we're going to marry each other and have a bunch of kids," Aang said with a smile. Katara chuckled and buried her face in his shoulder at the thought of having kids with Aang.

"I like the sound of that," She confessed, earning a laugh from Aang.

"Let's promise each other something," He said, Katara lifted her to look at him and waited for him to continue.

"Let's promise never to get insecure again. No matter what anyone says and what happens in our dreams," Aang said.

"I promise never to get insecure again," Katara said truthfully.

"I promise never to get insecure again," Aang said truthfully. Katara leaned into a kiss and Aang eagerly kissed her. Katara cupped Aang's face then rested her arms around his shoulders. Aang wrapped his arms around her waist and brought her closer. Katara hummed and felt bold. She opened her mouth slightly and brushed her tongue on Aang's lips. Aang's eyes widened and he pulled away, causing Katara to regret her decision.

"Did… d-did you just lick me?" He said in a surprised voice. Katara blushed and looked away in embarrassment.

"Y-yeah. Suki told me about a tongue kissing and I wanted to try it… but if you don't want to th-" She was caught off by Aang kissing her again. Katara smiled into the kiss and felt relieved. She opened her mouth again and brush her tongue on his lips. Aang opened his mouth and allowed entrance. Katara wasted no time exploring his mouth with her tongue. Aang moaned at the sensation of his girlfriend exploring his mouth with her tongue. Katara made sure to leave every part of his mouth explored. After a moment, Katara's tongue grew tired and she stopped, silently asking Aang to do the same for her. Her wish was granted when Aang plunged his tongue into her mouth. She moaned and cupped his face again to deepen the kiss. Aang absolutely loved the way she tasted. He explored her mouth and licked her teeth. After he was finished, they wrestled each other with their tongues, by now they were practically sharing each other's DNA. After several moments. They pulled away, breathing heavily and blushing furiously.

"That… that was amazing. It felt so good," Aang said as they fought to calm their breathing. Katara smiled widely and placed her hand on his knee. The feeling was back.

"That was the happiness I've ever felt. We should do that more often," Katara said while biting her lip. Aang's eyes widened, he recognized this Katara. It's the same Katara he saw when he finished his raced and finished drinking water.

"I would love that," Aang said with a huge smile on his face. Katara giggled and began to move her hand seductively up his thigh. Aang blushed at the senstation and tried his best not to get too excited. Katara finally arrived at the top of his thigh and began to move her hand closer to her boyfriend's manhood.

"Katara? What are you doing?" He asked nervously. Even though he wanted this, it still made him nervous.

"Do you want me to stop?" She questioned.

"No, but...but I promised your family not to do anything they wouldn't approve of," Aang replied.

"Well, that's true. I'm not sure I'm ready for sex… but we can do other stuff to be more intimate with each other," She said in a seductive voice.

"I'm sorry Katara, but I think we should wait to do anything more. At least we should wait until we're not in public. Maybe I could invite you over one day when Gyatso's working," Aang said, feeling his manhood grow.

"I would love that," Katara said with a huge smile on her face.

"Gyatso is working this Sunday I believe. Maybe then?" He replied with a smile.

"That sounds perfect," Katara hummed.

"Are you sure you want to take our relationship to the next level?" Aang questioned.

"Yes. Do you not want to?" She replied, with a worried look on her face.

"I do, but I want to make sure you are 100 percent comfortable. I would never pressure you to do anything you don't want to." Aang said truthfully. Katara smiled and hugged him.

"I appreciate that you asking me. It means the world to me. But I'm 110 percent positive I want to do this with you," She whispered in his ear, sending a shiver down his spine. He felt butterflies in his stomach and tried his hardest to calm down his manhood.

"Then Sunday it is," Aang responded. Katara's phone went off and she pulled away to check who it is.

"Hey sweetie, let's go home now,"

"Okay, we're on our way,"

"Ok"

"My dad wants to go home," Katara said, feeling sad that the moment was gone.

"That's okay. I can wait for Saturday and Sunday," He said with a huge grin on his face. Katara giggled and got up.

"Me either," She replied with the same grin on her face. Aang got up and intertwined his fingers with hers. Aang adjusted his shorts and began walking back to his girlfriend's family. Once they arrived, they found Hakoda, Gran, and Sokka already in the car ready to go. They entered the car and left to go to Aang's house and drop him off. Once they arrived Katara kiss Aang on the cheek and waved him goodbye. Once Aang entered his house he closed the door and leaned back on it, "Today was a great day, but Saturday and Sunday will be even better," He thought before going to his room to get some clean clothes and took a shower. Meanwhile, Katara found herself smiling her head off on the way home.

"Katara? Why are you smiling like that?" Sokka questioned, causing her to snap out of her trance.

"I'm just happy Aang won. Plus, this Sunday is going to be amazing," She answered.

"You mean Saturday," Sokka corrected, earning a blush from his sister.

"Yeah, m-my bad," She replied nervously. Sokka raised an eyebrow and decided to let it go. Soon enough, they found themselves inside their home resting. Katara flopped on her bed and noticed she was still wearing Aang's medal. She laughed and thought, "We're so forgetful" She took out her phone to text her boyfriend.

"I'm home, and I still have your medal"

"Crap, I guess I forgot it. Keep it safe for me until Saturday?"

"I will don't worry. I also still have your hoodie. I'm gonna put it on now," She texted while reaching for her boyfriend's hoodie and quickly put it on.

"Lol you love that thing, don't you?"

"Yup! It smells like you. It comforts me when I'm alone,"

"You're making me want to give it to you, beautiful,"

"I would love to keep it lol."

"Well, I'll give it to you once I get a new hoodie, I promise,"

"Yay! Thank you, sweetie. I had a lot of fun today, especially on that bench,"

"You're making me blush, Katara lol. I had so much fun too,"

"Good, I need to get revenge for all the times you make me blush, lmao"

"I'm gonna get you back! Lol"

"I'll just get my revenge again. I have to go, we need to do homework sadly :("

"You're right, I love you,"

"I love you too"

Katara let out a sigh of happiness and set her phone aside to begin her homework. After 2 hours, she finally stopped and decided to go to bed. The lovers found themselves thinking about the events that happened on that bench. Their first little fight, and their first tongue kiss. They smiled at the memory before finally drifting away into sleep.
