"Regionals" Santana says as she and Finn walk into the choir room as everyone cheer.
"Guys, settle down." Finn says as everyone gets quiet, "I just found out,because of safety concerns related to late-season tornados Indianapolis has declined to host the competition. So! As defending champions, we're having regionals here, in our auditorium."
"Yes!"
"Home court advantage y'all"
"Now, because of a sexting scandal at Our Lady of Perpetual Loneliness, their glee club, the Nun-touchables, has been excommunicated by the new pope. They've been replaced by the world-famous boys of Ziegler Prep, the Waffle-toots." Santana cuts in
"The who now?"
"Yes, I know, but guys, I'm going to be perfectly honest with you, The Hoosierdaddies are still the favorites. Once again, the New Directions are the underdogs."
"I mean, their lead vocalist, Frito Pie is a tiny juggernaut of talent." Santana cuts in, again
"We are in for the fight of our lives. So... let's get real. There comes a moment in every performer's life that defines him or her, sometimes for the rest of their career. This is our moment. We've struggled, we've endured, and now we must triumph. So, for regionals, me and San have, once again, called upon some legends here at McKinley, ladies and gentlemen, the New Directions Class of 2012!" As the 5 alumni walk in
"Well, except Hobbit" Santana says
"Way to kill the mood Lopez" Puck says
"Shut it Puckerman"
"OK, so, unlike sectionals, you will not be pairing up."
"Yes, so, every 15 minutes, you guys will be in a rotation block, everyone in different groups, by grade level. So, wait hold on, where are Joe and Sugar?"
"Right here Hudson" Joe says as he and Sugar walk in together
"Alright, so sophomores, you are with Mercedes Kurt and Mike, juniors with Q & San, Seniors with me and Puck. We will be helping you guys with how to emote regarding our setlist."
"Um, Finn, you kinda forgot to tell us the songs we'll be singing" Jake says
"Crap, uh, sorry guys. For the opener, we will be doing Hall of Fame by the Script & Will-I-Am, second, is I don't Care, which will be kind of like a Treble Tones number, and for our closer, Blaine and Marley are doing the duet."
"Hold on one second, Finn, it is so unfair for Marley to get the solo, obviously she buttered you up since you live together." Unique says
"Um, actually Wade, it was the alumni's decision, and our co-captains agreed to this too." Marley says
"Really Blam? I thought we were friends"
"Well we are, but we thought that Marley's song that we're using should be sung by Marley"
"OK enough arguing, let's get to it."

The next 4 days flew by, and it was finally time. After the other two "Alright guys, today is the day. Now I just want to say" Finn gets cut off
"Finn, you gave the motivational speech last time, let me do it"
"OK, Santana take it away"
"OK, so these last six months have honestly been the best of my life. I have watched all of you guys grow into more than just friends, we became a family. Well, the 5 newbies got brought into the family, but still. We have faced so many hardships leading up to this moment, and we will NOT let anyone take this from us. We are the New Directions. We are the underdogs. Prove everyone in that crowd that we deserve to go to LA, and pave the way for not just a second nationals trophy, but also, a new generation for New Directions members."
"Alright, well said San, hand in" Everyone put their hands in, "Onwards and Upwards"

Finn runs backstage because he knows that someone's scared, he can just feel it. "Marley hey, what's wrong?"
"Finn, I'm freaking out, what if I mess up, what if I"
"Marley stop, stop OK? You are Marley Rose. Badass, singer, extrordinaire, and the person that I love. Now go out there, and kick that songs ass." Marley nods, and kisses Finn.
"And now, for the final performance of the night, last year's national champions, the New Directions"
"Come on, you're up"
*Season 4 Regionals Setlist*
As the Club made their way back into the choir room, they erupted in cheers and laughter,
"That was incredible!"
"Yes"
"Guys, that was awesome, but we gotta get backstage for the results" Finn says
"Guys no matter what happens, just know that me and Finn are so proud of you guys. Win or lose, we'll be back" Santana says
As the teams make their way backstage, everyone is nervous. "One last reminder, please don't leave your trash under the seats because nobody likes a litterbug. Third place in the 2013 Greater Midwest Show Choir Regionals goes to... the Waffle-Toots! Now the moment we've all been waiting for. In second place... from Indianapolis, Indiana, the Hoosierdaddies, and first place goes to McKinley High New Directions!"
Sam and Blaine go to claim the trophy as Santana runs to Finn as she jumps into a hug, "Nationals here we come" as they both laugh.
When Finn puts Santana down, they run to the stage, where they start celebrating with the 12 members.
"McKinley High is officially on its way to becoming a regionals dynasty!" Artie exclaims as they go back into the choir room.
"Only 24 more of these babies before we catch up to Vocal Adrenaline." Sam says sarcastically
"Oh, please Trouty Mouth, Vocal Adrenaline's time has passed."
"The present and the future is all about the New Directions! And we are going to prove it when we go to sunny Los Angeles for nationals and take home our second national championship in a row!" Finn says as they all cheer, "OK, so guys, these next 3 months are going to be your way to the mountain top. This is the home stretch. Everything you have ever learned in here, is becoming more important every step we take. Remember the lessons, remember the memories. If we work together, and prevail, we will be bringing home another trophy." He pauses while everyone cheers, "Take next week off, but in two weeks, be prepared to do whatever it takes to win."
A/N:
OK guys, from this chapter and forward, the canon will change, (and yes I know I already have changed it) but like along the episode timeline changing. Finn will be alive, and I don't know if I should have Throat Explosion appear this nationals, or next nationals. I'm still trying to figure that out, but other than that, that should be all.
