It was two weeks later and the day before the ball before Ilonia and Riyo got to see the fruits of Lynis labor. They had gone to see her at her apartment with Padme Amdiala but Savage opened the door when they knocked. He was shirtless and holding a staff, clearly he had been working out and Ilonia tried to hide the deep blue of her blush. Riyo and Padme were not as affected but both had a slight blush as they looked up to his face and Riyo spoke, "Hello Savage. Is Lyni here?"
He nodded and stepped aside to let them in. They entered to find a shirtless Maul who was as muscular as his older brother and equally tattooed and an embarrassed Feral who quickly ducked out of the room so they couldn't see him. Lyni quickly came in with Feral behind her (he was quickly pulling on a shirt) and the two crossed to them, "Hello. To what do we owe the pleasure?"
Padme spoke, "How is the new bill coming?
Lyni was working on a bill to help with equality for Dathamrians, Clones, and others who were mistreated including T'welks, Tangoura, and Wookies. She smiled tiredly, "Well. I was just taking a break to finish something else and to come back to it with fresh eyes."
Riyo broke in, "Is the outfits for the ball tomorrow the break?"
A tentative nod from their hostess. Then she asked shyly, "Would you like to see them?"
There was an echoing, "Of course!" from the other three women. Then they followed the motion to follow Lyni as she went into the bedroom and they found four outfits laying out on the bed. The smallest was a dress which would be floor length on Lyni, then there was three fairly simple men's outfits. But the somewhat subdued colors were perfectly blended and it was clear which of the siblings would wear them with their skin tones.
Another thing that set them apart with their simplicity was the quiet elegance. No one would have known they were home made with the perfect stitching and bits of embroidery that was just enough for their additions. There was cloth on a chair where Lyni had been finishing something, "Savage has always liked having a kilt." An embarrassed Lyni explained, waiting for their reactions.
Ilonia smiled, "There beautiful Lyni! Absolutely perfect!"
Riyo nodded, "How perfectly they blend together, matching each other and your own skin tones!" Grinning at the taller girl, "You'll be the envy of everyone."
Padme touched the belt for Lyni's dress, looked at shirt for Feral, the kilt for Savage, and the vest for Maul, "This is amazing! Where did you get these?"
Lyni blushed a deep purple, "I made them." Looking at Ilonia and Riyo, "You didn't tell her that?"
The two Pandorians shook their heads and Padme smiled at Lyni, "And no one would ever know to look at them." Putting a hand on a slender shoulder, "You'll fit into the ball, and everyone will want to know where you got such amazing outfits."
As the small Dathmarian ducked her head and blushed deep purple with pleasure at the praise they remembered that she was only eighteen. She swallowed, "I would have been finished faster but there was another one I wanted to do." Then she pulled a box out and showed them what lay within.
