Few minutes later...
"I... cant believe this..." Balto sat on floor and keep watching fur hanging on the wall. "You understand now? Those monsters arent worth your trust..." Lisa said with growing anger inside her. "I dont know what to say..." A tear feel fown Balto's cheek. "I told you! Now... you..." Lisa looked at her brother, she noticed how painful it is for him, and she realized how bad sister she became. She approached her brother and nuzzled to zes face. "I know its hard Balto... Im... Im so sorry." Lisa started to cry softly. "I feel so guilty, this happened because of me..." Balto said trough tears, Kodi approached them and nuzzled to them. "Its not your fault Balto, that happened because of those monsters..." Lisa said to cheer her brother. "...and those stupid rules of freaking wolf valley.." Balto added. "... mostly because man kind..." Lisa said. "Auntie plese dont just for a moment..." Kodi said softly, Lisa nodded gently and looked back at wall.
"Something isnt right Balto.." Lisa said as she came closer to fur. "Tell me that that isnt our mother..." Balto said. "I wouldn't forget how my mother looks like Balto, which means that all of this is true." Lisa said with pain in her voice. "But im really sure i saw her..." Balto said as he made his way to sit by his sister side. "We will talk later about that... Thats not what i wanted to say. Look at right side, fur is sewn together there. And im sure human wouldn't kill her with hes teeth..." As Lisa said this Balto looked closed, it is sewn there. "You mean that some animal attacked her?" Balto asked as Lisa was still watching, her face for a moment looked like she realised something in surprise. "Not some animal... that... that must have been dog. I...Im sure." Lisa said. "Why dog, you dont have any evidence auntie..." Kodi said because it was offending him. "For sure... that had to be fox or rat" Lisa said sarcastically as she looked back at Kodi, that was much more offending for him. Kodi just sighed as he had nothing in defence, he left room and came back with broom in hes mouth. "Help me dad." Kodi said as he placed broom. "What are you up to?" Lisa asked. "I wont let my grandma hang on wall at my home..." Kodi said with help of hes dad they manage to take fur from wall. Lisa touched it gently. "Still soft, to this day." She said as several tears fell down her muzzle. "I will take this... I will take her to Wolf Valley and I will bury her where she belongs." Lisa said proudly. "What we gonna do now?" Kodi asked. "I feel that you two now have to go with me to Wolf Valley, to take part in funeral.." Lisa said as she gently rolled something that was her mother once. "Dont make an reason out of this to make me go there.." Balto said as he rolled hes eyes. "Dad i can go myself if its..." Kodi started. "No, no no i wont let you go there alone." Balto said serious. "So its decided, all of us will go." Lisa said, Balto realized that he played himself of. "Oh my..." Balto said. "Ill take mom... to your boat." She said and left in hurry.
"Dad why youre so scared of place you used to live in?" Kodi asked. "Because i onow where i used to live. Daro is an alpha now, which means that my friend killed his brother. Does that sounds like nice place?" Balto said trying to convince hes son he know what he say. "You got a point, but what about that funeral... it was your mother dad." Kodi said, Balto just sighed knowing hes son is right. "Yea I know Kodi... its hard for me, I dont want to put any of us in danger." Balto said softly. "I understand tha well dad, you always care about others" Kodi smiled and nuzzled with hes son. Old clock rang. "My owner will be here soon dad, I don't want to be mean but you better leave..." Kodi said, Balto chucked a bit "yea, yea I understand son." Balto said and left Kodis owners home.
Balto looked around, she doesn't feel the same now in Nome, around people and mostly dogs. He keep in mind what lisa said some dog helped to put down hes mother, so its really likely that the killer one is still around in town. He picked direction of hes beloved one. He started to go the same street as earlier, heading to Jenna's home.
