Ducktales Movie 2 - Save the Queen Epilogue

After Della finished telling the full story of their first visit to Ithaquack the kids were in sheer awe and amazement of what they heard, Donald pulling out Save the Queen, the battle against Hades, Donald and Della making amends and their uncle's resolve to become a multi-world mage. She's left out telling them anything about the Infinity Stones.

Della: So you see now, kids, that's how your uncle became the mage he is today, how the two of us got out weapons and he defeated Hades. After hearing his story on how he became a mage Scrooge and I were pretty amazed! It made us wonder how we ever ignored him.

Dewey: That story was…AWESOME!

Webby: Best story ever!

Huey: So that's how Uncle Donald became a mage!

Violet: I feel like I understand you three better now!

Louie: WHOA! Talk about cool! Now this was worth listening too!

Lena: That was the only and most beautiful story I've ever heard. I'll cherish this forever.

Louie: You know during the 10 years he looked after us we never would've thought the accident prone uncle we were so used to had such a cool past.

Della: Yeah. My brother is pretty amazing even if he tries to hide it from people.

Huey: Though, we can understand why he never said anything about it in the first place.

Dewey: Yeah, what with you disappearing and all.

Della: Della saddens in regret over Donald's depression during her absence. I wonder if he'll ever forgive or trust me again. My brother…he did everything he could to protect me…he loved and supported me in any way he could. And how do I repay him? By blaming him for what happened to our parents, making him feel underappreciated after our college years and then those awful things I said to him before I took the Spear. I had three chances to do things right with my bro…and I failed thrice…It's my biggest regret and I don't think I can ever redeem myself. How can I even face him after so long?

Webby: Simple you face him with a big smile and a big hug!

Dewey: And I think Uncle Donald has already forgiven you Mom. You have redeemed yourself to him.

Lena: You may not know it Aunt D, but you have.

Della: How do you know?

Huey: After the Shadow War and before he left for the cruise Uncle Donald kept talking about you a lot. He finally told us stories about you.

Della: This takes Della aback. Really!? He did.

Lena: Yeah. And it was pretty cool…and very sweet.

Violet: Clearly your brother had so much care for you, Aunt Della. He missed you more than anything in the world.

Huey: And he believed you were alive.

Webby: He never gave up hope.

Dewey: He kept believing Mom and waiting for you.

Louie: You may not know it Mom but Uncle Donald isn't mad at you anymore. For years you've been fighting the entire moon just to get back to us. And now you're here, trying to re-adjust to Earth and getting to know us. He'd be proud.

Dewey: If Uncle Donald could forgive you for a lot of the things you did that made him upset, I'm sure he can forgive your just about anything in the world.

Webby: He's that great a guy. Soon he'll be back home and the two of you can finally make up.

Lena: And we'll get to see the kind of team you guys are.

Della: Della is almost tearfully touched. Aww! You guys!

She opens her arms and the Duckburg six run into her for a hug. Della is bend down, her arms wrapped around her sons and figurative nieces, as she's close to crying her eyes out. It was at that moment Della's mobile rings and she stands up to take her call.

Della: Hello.

Gyro: Della, it's Gyro.

Della: Della becomes dismayed. What is it you black liquorice loving jerk?

Gyro: I'm calling to tell you about that incomplete transmission of your alien friend that you gave me.

Della: This joyfully intrigues Della. Really!? Is it finally fixed up!?

Gyro: Yes, I've fixed up the transmission and it's no longer jammed…but after hearing it I'm wishing I didn't decode it…because the results were quite were quite grim.

Della: Della's face contorts with concern. W-what do you mean?

Gyro: Come to my lab…and bring Daisy with you…she needs to hear this too.

Before she could ask more Gyro hangs up and Della becomes immensely tense. The kids walk over to her in concern.

Dewey: Mom…you okay?

Della: Yeah. I'm fine, Gyro just called.

Lena: Who?

Huey: The scientist, the one who created the Gizmoduck armour.

Lena: Oh, yeah! That guy! I forgot about him.

Violet: Why did Dr Gearloose call you Aunt Della?

Webby: Is something wrong?

Della: I don't know. I've never heard Gyro speak so seriously before. I didn't hear the annoying arrogance that's usually in his voice.

Louie: Seeing all the angles Louie cringes. Oh boy…if Gyro does sound that different, something must be wrong.

Della: You can say that again…listen kids, I'm gonna get Daisy and head on over to the bin. You kids go to bed, alright.

Webby: Ohh…can't we come with you.

Della: It's probably best that just me and Daisy go, Webby. Trust me.

The kids watch Della leave the room with worried looks, especially Dewey.

It's night-time now and Della is driving Donald's car towards the money bin with Daisy sat right next to her. The both of them smile as they converse.

Della: So Mickey, Storkules, Panchito and the others are gonna be sleeping over at the mansion, huh?

Daisy: That's right. Luckily for them, Uncle Scrooge has a dozen or so spare bedrooms in the mansion.

Della: Della nods in agreement. That is very true.

Daisy: So, Gyro called you on your mobile, Della?

Della: Yup. Remember that half-complete transmission my best friend, Penny sent me from the moon. I gave it Gyro so that he could fix it up and get her full message.

Daisy: So do you think it's fixed?

Della: Probably. Though I don't understand why Gyro sounded so grim when I talked to him on the phone?

Daisy: Maybe one of his inventions got destroyed. The girls both burst out laughing, knowing what Gyro's like when it comes to his inventions. But still…why'd he want to bring me into this.

Della: Who knows? When it comes to a cockamamie inventor like Gyro, I'm just not sure what to think? The three of us will find out when we got the bin?

Daisy: Now Daisy's confused. Three of us? Uh…Della…there's only me and you in here.

Della: Nope. Dewey's snuck into the car and is now hiding right behind us. In fact, he's invisible right now. Della playfully turns as she drives. Come on out sweetie, I know you're there.

All of a sudden Dewey becomes visible and Daisy gasps in surprise as he smiles.

Dewey: Hi!

Daisy: Dewey! What are you doing here!?

Dewey: I couldn't help but get worried about what Gyro wanted to talk to Mom about. Plus, wherever she goes there's always a big adventure involved. So I used my chameleon powers to sneak inside the car. But how'd you know I was out back Mom or that I was even invisible?

Della: Dewey, honey, remember that back in the old days with your uncles I was the sharpie of the group. I can see the angles too and I know you well enough to be as sneaky as your Mom here?

Dewey: Dewey boastfully jerks a thumb to himself. Guilty as charged! I'm not getting punished, am I?

Della: For something as small as this. Nah! Of course you can come.

Daisy: But we should probably warn you to brace yourself, Dewey.

Dewey: What's the worst that could happen? It's Gyro.

Della, Daisy and Dewey are all now at the lab where they run into Fenton.

Fenton: Oh! Dewey, Daisy. Hello!

Dewey: Hey, Fenton!

Daisy: Hi Doctor Cabrera.

Fenton: Not a doctor yet. Still an intern.

Della: Della steps up. You're that intern guy I've been told about, right?

Fenton: That's me, Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera, at your service, pleasure to meet you. The both of them shake hands. You must be Della, Mr McDuck and Donald has told me a lot about you.

Della: That's my name! It's great to meet you too Fenton. I'm a really huge fan of your work and how two words turn you into a giant cyborg duck with a unicycle as the leg…Gizmoduck. Does that suit of yours have a toilet?

Fenton: Fenton is shocked. What!? Who told you I was-

He furrows his eyebrows before he and Daisy give a sheepish Dewey scolding looks.

Dewey: Whoops…I may have accidentally blabbed out the secret ID to Mom.

Fenton sighs in annoyance before getting out his notes to jot down Della's name in the list of people that knows his identity.

Fenton: No matter, this isn't about me being Gizmoduck.

Dr Gearloose is waiting up ahead. He motions them forward and the three ducks walk, passing Manny and Lil'Bulb.

Della: Hey Lil'Bulb. Hey Headless-Man-Horse.

The two of them wave back and Daisy still can't help but be weirded out by them.

Gyro is at his desk with Della's radio and a grim expression. He turns around to see Della, Daisy and Dewey walking up towards him.

Gyro: Ah, good. You're here. And I see you brought the blue nephew with you…for some reason.

Dewey: There isn't a secret that can be kept from me.

Gyro: This is no secret. This is something your entire family must be made aware of. The fate of the entire world is at stake here.

Della, Daisy & Dewey: Say, what now?

Daisy: Gyro, what do you mean by that?

Gyro: Gyro presents the radio. This is the transmission all fixed up. The moment I bypassed the jamming…well, let's just say I wish I never heard any of this. What you're about to hear is going to be a bit of a shock.

Della: Della scoffs with a dismissing hand wave. Please, I've heard a lot of shocking things before. I'm sure this isn't any different. Let's hear that full transmission.

Gyro: Very well, but you've been warned.

And with that said, Gyro activates the radio and the full transmission plays right from the top.

Penumbra: This Lieutenant Penumbra with a message for her friend, Della Duck.

Della: Della places a hand over her heart with a sigh of relief. It makes me so happy to know that Penny truly sees me as her friend.

Gyro: I wouldn't be happy if I were you. This next part is what you must really listen to.

They listen intently to the next part of the transmission and what they're about to hear will horrify them.

Penumbra: All your defence satellites have gone down for some reason! Lunaris is bringing an army to destroy Earth! Della…he's coming for your family! And what's worse, a male version of you has crash landed on our planet and been taken prisoner by him.

With this second part of the message, Dewey, Della and Daisy's gasp in horror, their faces become pale and their blood runs cold after hearing the full transmission. Gyro grimly turns it off.

Gyro: I warned you it would be shocking.

Dewey: Did…I just hear that right?

Daisy: An invasion…an invasion's coming to Earth…from the Moon!?

Della: No…Della shakes her head in denial. No, no, it can't be! It just can't! Lunaris would never do that! He was such a nice guy! A-and the Moonlanders love me! They would never invade Earth!

Gyro: That's not what your alien friend says…and that's not even the worst part.

Dewey: A male version of you had crash landed on the moon? The three of them gasp in horror and realization. You don't think she was talking about…!

Della & Daisy: DONALD!

Daisy: No! That can't be possible! Donald's supposed to be on a cruise! There's no way he could be anywhere else, especially outer space…

Della: Unless…he found the Spear of Selene after I landed and…

Dewey: Dewey quickly gets in between them with his hands held out. Hold on, let's not jump to conclusion! Why don't we phone the cruise ship now and find out if Uncle Donald's really there.

Della: We were planning on doing that tonight, anyway, right Daisy?

Daisy: I'll give them a call right now.

Daisy gets out her mobile, dialling in the cruise ship's number and after a few minutes of waiting they finally answer.

Daisy: Hello, this is Daisy Duck. I'd like to speak to my boyfriend, Donald Duck. He was scheduled to be on your cruise across the Caribbean's over a month ago so I assume he's still there.

Speaking is heard on the other side of the phone and what Daisy hears causes her to widen her eyes and freeze in sheer shock.

Daisy: I-I see. Thank you for telling me. Bye.

The phone is hung up and Daisy is so shocked she drops her phone much to the concern of Dewey and Della.

Dewey: Aunt Daisy…?

Della: Daisy…what did they say? Where's my brother?

Daisy: I…I don't know.

Della: What do you mean you don't know!?

Daisy: Daisy turns around mortified with her beak wide open. The receptionist told me…Donald isn't on the cruise ship. He never even made it in the first place…

Della and Dewey's expression and beaks widen in sheer horror and mortification from this new piece of information. For a month they all thought Donald was having the time of his life on the cruise Scrooge paid for…only to now find out he was never there in the first place. And after hearing the Penumbra's transmission it makes sense where Donald really is right now.

Della: No…

Dewey: Then that means…

Fenton: There's something else you should know too. They all look to Fenton who approached them up the stairs. Not long after Dr Gearloose fixed up the transmission, we received another one. And it was from Donald himself…

This came off as a massive shock to them all, especially Della and Daisy.

Della: Show it to us.

The time has finally come for the family to deal with the true terror that Donald had tried to warn them about a few days ago.

A couple hours later, on the Moon the golden Spear of Selene replicas were all complete. The army of Moonlanders were assembled and stood in front of the statue of Lunaris and Penumbra. The moon general is stood at the top addressing his warriors. Gibbous, Zenith and Palus were stood at the foremost front of the soldiers.

Zenith: Sir! We are pleased to inform you that replicas of the Spear of Selene are now fully complete!

Lunaris: An evilly pleased Lunaris pumps his fist. Excellent! Then the time has finally come! Mighty Moonlanders! For over month now we have been training and building after the betrayal of our so-called friend, Della Duck from the fowl Earth!

The Moonlanders let out sounds of dismay and hatred aimed at Della.

Lunaris: And now all of that month of hardwork is about pay off. The time has come for us to exact our revenge and prove that the moon is the greatest planet in the universe! He raises his fist high. WE ARE THE MIGHTY! WE ARE THE MOON!

Moonlanders: They all raise their fists and chant. WE ARE THE MOON! WE ARE THE MOON! WE ARE THE MOON!

Lunaris is now sat down on a throne at the end of a large gold structure filled with terminals and consoles operated by Gibbous, Zenith and a whole bunch of Moonlanders, obviously the cockpit of a rocket much larger than the normal Spear of Selene Model. Lunaris is sat with a sinister look and placed next to him is the Infinity Gauntlet with the Power, Space and Mind Stones set in.

Lunaris: And now the invasion begins. Time for Lunaris to make his grand entrance! Gibbous! Power up the master engine!

Gibbous: Yes, General Lunaris!

Gibbous presses the button that activates the main engine and the rocket begins to power up... only for it to clunk out. Gibbous shrugs in confusion and the Moonlanders inside are murmuring in confusion. Lunaris can't help but be annoyed and aims a look at Gibbous.

Lunaris: Gibbous…did you make sure that the plus end went to the plus part AND THE MINUS END WENT TO THE MINUS PART?!

Gibbous quickly runs over to where a special power battery for the ship is, he opens up that panel and sees that it's placed the wrong way.

Gibbous: Oh... that would do it, huh?

Zenith: Oh, Gibbous…

Lunaris facepalms with the stupidity he must be forced to deal with but for the sake of his sanity (if there is any) he remains calm.

Lunaris: Just fix it and start the engine.

After the battery is placed the right way, Gibbous presses the button once more and the engine starts up. Outside a giant thrusters ignites and releases blue flames, signalling the beginning of the terror that's about to plague Earth…a terror a thousand times worse than the Shadow War.

Only one question remains: What has happened to Donald Duck?

Here's what's happened. There have been some big issues here and so as a result I won't be able to log on for a very long time. I won't be able to take Private Messages anymore or respond to you so there's no point sending me messages anymore. You're welcome to review if you want but I won't be able to respond to anymore questions. This is probably going to be my last publication. I'm not sure when I'll be able to log on and publish again, maybe in a month, two month, a year or longer. But for now I need to make amends with my family and focus on Uni. I'm sorry. I hope there's no hard feelings.
