Today a Decepticon arrived at the base. He was bit old and he came up to Hot shot. "Hello I am Backlasher, I am looking for a little seeker, well he's not so little anymore, but a teenager in his late teens almost 18 to be exact," Backlasher stated.
Starscream came out and saw him. "Backlasher I can't believe you are here," Starscream said running up to him and hugging him. "I am so happy to see you," he said.
"I am happy to see you too," Backlasher said.
"Starscream you know this con?' Hot shot asked.
"I sure do after the attack on Vos that left me with amnesia Backlasher found me and took me in, he was always there for me when I was hurt or sick or afraid. He took good care of me," Starscream said.
"Starscream it has been a really long time and I am amazed by how much you have grown after all this time," Backlasher told him.
"Yes and I have much to tell you," Starscream told him.
Backlasher was introduced to the others at the base. "It's good to see you again Backlasher," Megatron said.
"Good to see you too sir," Backlasher said.
"So what brings you to earth?" Chainsaw asked.
"I came here because well you know I have been one of the oldest Decepticons under Megatron's command, in fact I have been apart of this war since the leader who was the predecessor of the leader before Megatron. Which is much longer than any of you," Backlasher said.
"You are much older than me and Chainsaw by long shot," Scavenger said.
"I came here because my old joints and parts can't handle fighting anymore, and I can't see or hear as well as I use too, I feel it's time a retire from being a soldier I am not longer fit for this job, it's to hard on my body now," Backlasher stated.
"But Backlasher you are such a great warrior from what Starscream told us and from what I heard you the best con solider ever known I heard all about you on the farm where I was born and I wanted to be a great soldier just like you and you are going to give it all up?" Demolishor said.
"Now listen young'un I have fought a good fight but you must understand at my age, fighting with strength or fire power is no longer an option, I am no longer as strong or as fit as I use to be so please understand I am old and I must accept that my warrior days are now behind me," Backlasher said.
"But I thought you were the mighty Backlasher who could knocked down his foes without so much as twitching this is not what I expect my hero to be like," Demolishor said and got up and left.
"I don't think Demolishor understands," Side swipe said.
"He understands just fine Side swipe he just doesn't accept it," Hannah said. "After all he said Backlasher was his hero and he wanted to be like him and he is finding it hard to accept that his hero is now a really old man who is ready to move on and be an ordinary person." she said.
"Hannah is right Demolishor will have accept the fact that Backlasher is too old to continue his warrior ways," Scavenger said.
Demolishor was outside punching and kicking some rocks along with blasting a few of them. "You know young'un if you take a deep breath then let it out upon your blast or strike you will find it will hit with greater power," Backlasher said coming up.
Demolishor did as Backlasher instructed it worked. "Your advice really worked," Demolishor said. "But you are still different from what I expected you to be," he admitted.
"You expected a war hero," Backlasher said.
"Yeah," Demolishor said.
"That was a really long time ago Demolishor as transformers grow older they change, and same goes for other species, as they grow old they change it's they way things are," Backlasher said. "I think I should try to understand young transformers and I think you should try to understand elderly transformers," he said.
"I think I should," Demolishor said. "But it may not be warrior position but I know all the bots and cons at the base could benefit from your advice, no doubt with all of what seen an experienced you telling us what you know may help us on the battlefield without you having to fight," he suggested.
"That is fine idea Demolishor I would love to do that," Backlasher said.
Now Backlasher was living at the base to give advice to the bots and cons to help aid them in their battles.
