Here we are on the second part of the Christmas special of the Teen Titans with Phosphophyllite involved. As the team started to search for Funhouse and stop his plans in ruining Christmas, an army of Santas begins to raise terror throughout the city. Will they be able to stop them before Christmas Day? Let's read to find out.

Episode 8: Phosphophyllite Christmas (Part 2)

An hour later, the city was going back to their normal routine as they clean up the mess caused by the toy saucers Funhouse sent. Some of those saucers that were latched to the walls and signs were left behind as maintenance workers decorate them with Christmas lights and covering damaged buildings with festive tapestries. There were trucks escorting destroyed saucers out of the city and into the scrap yard while kids threw snowballs at them for fun. Even the tree that was half burnt was decorated with lights and a star on top, which was weird considering that it should've been replaced quickly. But it's Christmas Eve, so they don't have time in replacing anything. Down at the base of the tree, there's a long line of family and kids that are waiting for Santa to take pictures and asked what they wanted. Two of the kids stepped into the sleigh and told him what they want.

"Hey, Santa. Got any Presto Playpal action figures left?"

Santa just sits there and responded with his three jolly words.

"Ho, ho, ho!"

The two looked at him strangely and wondered why he didn't answer. The girl then turned to her brother and thought of something logical.

"Maybe he didn't hear you."

Up on one of the rooftops, Robin was looking down at the streets with Starfire floating by his side, not seeing anything out of the ordinary. He soon got his communicator out and contacted the others.

Robin: "No sign of Funhouse or any of his twisted toys. How's it looking on your end, team."

In one end of town, Cyborg and Beast Boy were on the streets, checking for any signs, but didn't find anything. Just folks doing last minute Christmas shopping as a Santa standing next to a Salvation Army bucket ringing the bell for donations. Cy got into contact with the leader and told him what he was seeing.

Cyborg: "Nothing to report so far. Just last minute Christmas shoppers and donation Santas. Though it would've been easier if a certain Beast Brain would stop and look at the windows"

He soon glared to him looking at the store window of a video game shop showing the latest games.

Beast Boy: "Aw… Super Turbo Monkey Extreme… I can't believe they come out with that game. I do want that!"

Cy rolled his eyes around and told him to focus.

Cyborg: "Yo! Beast Boy! Stop gawking at potential gifts! We have a dangerous criminal on the loose!"

BB turned to him and was a little upset about that.

Beast Boy: "Oh, c'mon Cy! It's Christmas Eve! Tomorrow is Christmas! The least we can do is get this game while we're on patrol."

Cy grumbled and was getting annoyed by that.

Cyborg: "Superhero work first, shopping later. Let's go…"

He soon grabbed the changeling by the arm and dragged him away from the store. Beast Boy felt that and try to get out.

Beast Boy: "Nooooo! Super Turbo Monkey Extreme Edition! I need it!"

Meanwhile, in the air, Raven was flying by with Phos on their golden podium watching from afar. That's when they got the call from Robin wondering if they have found the criminal.

Robin: "Phos, Raven. You found anything."

Raven got her communicator out and responded to him.

Raven: "Nothing so far. No alien saucers or a Puppet King's number one fan. Just the occasional carolers, Santas, and shoppers."

Robin sighed on the other end and told them to keep on searching.

Robin: "Keep looking. Funhouse is planning something big. We need to be ready before he strikes again."

Raven nodded and ended the talks.

Raven: "Understood. Out."

She soon hung up the communicator and continued with the search. Phos overheard that and wondered why a criminal would attack on today of all days.

Phos: "This doesn't make any sense. Christmas is all about the time of togetherness and festivities. Why would Funhouse want to ruin it for everyone?"

Raven turned to them and told the gem why.

Raven: "That's bad guys for you. They don't care what day it is, they always try to ruin. He's like a Grinch meets Scrooge. Besides, why are you so concerned about Christmas."

Phos heard her and turned to the telepath to explain their reasons.

Phos: "Because, this is my first Christmas in this world. The same with Starfire. I never have this holiday back home as we all spent all winter hibernating, so this is a first for me. And besides, I want to understand the warm feeling of the Christmas Spirit inside everyone. I really want to know how that feels like."

Rae raised an eyebrow and was a little confused by that statement.

Raven: "Uh… Phos? You're a gem. You don't have that type of warm feeling humans have."

The gem sighed and still wanted to give it a try.

Phos: "I know that, but I still want to know what it feels like."

The telepath turned away and groaned to herself.

Raven: "Keep telling yourself that. I'm sure you will get what you want eventually."

Looking around, she soon spotted something from the distance and told Phos about it.

Raven: "Hey! What's going on down there?"

Phos heard her and took a look at her direction. What they saw is a Santa Clause running down the street pushing people away and were holding a purse. Starring at this, they were a bit confused.

Phos: "Odd… I've been doing research on Santa Clause as a jolly person who gives gifts to nice children. That doesn't look like he's doing any of that."

Rae looked on and figured it's a random crook.

Raven: "Probably some random thug dressed as Santa to use this holiday as an excuse to steal. Nothing related to Funhouse and his schemes. Let's get down there and stop him."

She soon swoops down and went after the Santa crook. Phos looked on and was silent about it, knowing that they have a job to do as well. They soon lower their podium to rejoin their friend.

Meanwhile, the Santa crook was running, shoving people out of the way while carrying the purse.

"Ho, ho, ho!"

He soon stopped as Raven floated down and blocked his path.

Raven: "Okay…Santa. You've been sipping a little too much eggnog. Time to go home."

Phos soon landed behind the Clause with the gold heels turning into a platform to minimize the fall and crossed their arms.

Phos: "And if you're wondering where the North Pole is, it's far up north. Course we need you to hand over the purse you took."

The Clause looked to the two and only responded the best way he can.

"Ho, ho, ho!"

The two looked at this bizarre behavior and could tell that something was wrong.

Phos: "Okay… While I appreciate your holiday spirit, I don't think stealing is part of the nice list. So why don't you hand over the purse and we'll take you back to the-"

Before they could finish the Santa wind back and deliver a vicious punch. Phos noticed it and reacted quickly by getting both arms up and merge them together to form a shield to protect their face. They slid down the sidewalk and stop, relieved that their face didn't get smash. Raven soon saw this and decided to go on the offensive.

Raven: "All right, you've just made the naughty list. Azarath, Metrion, Zinthos!"

She soon waved her hands around and black magic came out of it. The Santa Clause was soon covered in black magic and started to lift him up in the air. The Clause struggled to get out as he kept on saying those three words over and over again.

"Ho, ho, ho!"

The telepath was starting to get annoyed by the cheers.

Raven: "Okay, it's really starting to get annoying. Phos! A little help here!"

Phos recovered from the punch and looked to see Santa struggling to get out. Seeing this, they decided to handle it and rose up with their heels. Getting to the level of the Clause and decided to pull the beard off him.

Phos: "All right, Santa, your Jolly tirade is over. Let's see what's underneath the beard."

They stretch the arm to the beard and decided to pull it off. But with one yank, not only the beard comes off, but the face as well. The gem looked at the face and was confused by that.

Phos: "What the…"

That's when they looked at Santa and notice the mechanical face and that looks to be sparking. They got in a bit of shock and were freaking out.

Phos: "Whoa!"

The Santa then had their eyes were glowing red and looked to be sparking.

"Ho, ho, ho!"

It's almost look like he was about to blow up and told Raven to get rid of it.

Phos: "Raven, get this Santa up now! It's going to blow!"

Raven heard that and lifted the Santa up high into the air and right into the sky. By the time he reached the sky, he soon exploded in a firework blast. By the time it exploded, Phos went back down and joined Raven, looking right at the explosion. Soon enough, the body of the robotic Santa crashed into the street in front of them. They soon started to approach the body and notice the mechanical body parts and the scorched remains of the Santa suit. The Clause ho, ho, ho again, but was malfunctioning. Getting a closer look at it, the two realized that this wasn't Santa.

Phos: "This is…just a robot in a Santa suit. That's something unexpected. Wondered why it attacked us and blew up. Malfunction?"

Raven looks to it and decided to take a closer look to at the metal being. Waving her hand to twist the body around via levitation, she noticed something and bends down to take a closer look. That's when she saw the same toy logo as the saucers from before, knowing what it actually is.

Raven: "No… It didn't malfunction. It was manufactured, by Funhouse."

Phos blinked and was caught by surprise.

Phos: "No way… Well, at least that's been taken care of, right?"

Getting up, the telepath turned around and saw something behind the gem, warning them of it.

Raven: "Don't be too sure about it, Phos. Look!"

They heard it and turned to what she was looking at. That's when the two saw an army of Santas in front of them, all saying in unison…

"Ho, ho, ho!"

Then one of the Santa heads opened up and the screen came out showing Funhouse's face.

Funhouse: "Gee… That won't give children nightmares now will it?"

The two see the army of Santas in front of them as they slowly outreached their hands out and march towards the two. Raven quickly got her communicator out and warned the others of the situation.

Raven: "Guys, we have a situation! Funhouse is back, and this time he has his own twisted way in celebrating the holidays. We need you here now!"

Returning to Cyborg and Beast Boy, they were in the same predicament as Cy responded from the situation.

Cyborg: "Um… Sorry Rae, but we have our own problems here as well."

Standing in front of them was also an army of Santa's around them.

"Ho, ho, ho!"

Beast Boy noticed it and panicked over what's in front of them.

Beast Boy: "It's the Invasion of the Secret Santa's!"

Up on the rooftops, Robin and Starfire notice this as well as they see Santa's wreaking havoc across the street as they turn over cars, smashing store front windows, and stealing things. Robin has his communicator on and agreed with everyone.

Robin: "Same here. Looks like Funhouse second phase of his Christmas chaos is in effect. We need to take them all out before they tear the city apart. Titans, GO!"

He soon put away his communicator and got both his staff and exploding disks out and told Starfire to join him.

Robin: "C'mon Star, let's clear the streets with these knockoffs!"

Star heard him and charged her star bolts ready for a fight.

Starfire: "Understood."

Robin soon jumped down and was ready to attack with Starfire flying after him. Robin soon threw a few exploding disks and hit the ground. The disks soon exploded on the ground and clear the path and took out a few Santa bots in the process. Landing on the ground, he got his staff in the air and spins it to be ready to take them out. All the Santas turned to him and were ready to attack the leader.

"Ho, ho, ho!"

They soon charged in and were about attack. The Boy Wonder quickly turns and swung the Bo like a bat, knocking out a few by the head. During the turn, he took out a few Birdarangs and threw them at a few more. The sharp blades hit them in the chest and administered electricity to their bodies. Those robotic Santas short-circuited, causing their eyes to bulge out and arms to blow up before engulfing them in flames and exploding soon after. Robin looked to this and was enjoying that move, but a few more Santas appeared behind him, ready to strangle him. But before they could strike, multiple Star bolts started to rain down and destroyed the group that was about to attack the leader. Robin felt that and turned to see the remains of the Santa bots. Looking up at the sky, he could see Starfire flying by, as she was the one who saved him. Robin waved to her, assuring her that she did a good job. Star saw that and waved back, getting back to the task at hand. Looking down, she could see more Santa's causing havoc all across the streets. With her hands out, she brought in a shower of star bolts that were raining down on them. The Santa's scatters to avoid the attack, while some of them exploded as the rain connected to them. With a clearing made, Star quickly dive down and decided to mop up the rest. She soon tossed one star bolt after another, taking out the bots one at a time. During the low fly, something grabbed her leg and she was stopped. Looking back, she could see a damaged Santa bot slowly looking up to her with have the face exposing the metal skull like that of the Terminator.

"Ho, ho, h-"

Star quickly twist her body and delivered a high kick, knocking the head off and it flew right towards a flower basket in a florist shop that was selling Holiday pieces. The headless Santa soon let go and the body fell to the floor, lying limp. Once free, she was soon surrounded by more of the robots and decided eliminate them all in one shot. Getting her hands together, she fired a powerful beam and turns her body around to cut them in half and blew them up.

Around the same time, Cyborg was using his sonic cannon and fired it at the charging Santa bots. One by one, they were shot down and exploded in pieces. But more of them soon came forward and were charging in with their arms out.

"Ho, ho, ho!"

Cy could hear them and was getting annoyed by the sound.

Cyborg: "Okay, I like Saint Nick as much as the next kid, but that repetitive cheer is really getting aggravating!"

Beast Boy stepped in and decided to make a clearing.

Beast Boy: "Annoying or not, we better get some elbow room. Follow me!"

He soon charged in and turned into a triceratops and plowed through the army of Santas. Forming a clearing, the hybrid followed and used both cannons to fire on any robots that were close by. Once they make an escape, Cyborg jumped on a truck and to get the higher ground and looked to the chaos in the street. Seeing the civilians in danger, he told Beast Boy to get them out of there.

Cyborg: "Beast Boy! Get those people to safety! I'll handle the Santas!"

BB heard him and turned to see the civilians in danger and decided to get them away from danger. Turning into a pterodactyl he flapped his wings and flew up high. One by one, he picked up people and brought them on top of rooftops, keeping them away from the robotic Claus's. Once they were in the clearing, Cyborg opened up his shoulder blades and fired his rockets at the group. They soon explode when the missiles connect and they were all in pieces. He soon saw a few more Clauses charging in and they were holding ripped parking meters and street signs, as a means of beating people up. Seeing this, he jumped down pounded the ground, causing a seismic wave and pushed the Santa's back. He soon armed his cannon and fired a stream of laser, piercing them all in the chests and brought them down in one hit. That's when a gang of Santa's dog piled him and buried him while being cheerful about it.

"Ho, ho, ho!"

Cyborg was struggling and was getting tired of that cheer, to the point where he had it.

Cyborg: "Shut…UP!"

He soon used his strength to burst himself out of the Santa pile and lifted one up by the leg. Spinning him around, he tossed him up high in the air and the robot was flailing, repeating the same phrase over and over again.

"Ho, ho, ho!"
"Ho, ho, ho!"
"Ho, ho-"

Suddenly, a golden spike came from below and pierced the Santa in the chest before coming down. Turns out, it was Phos who took out that Santa in the air as they were bringing it down to take out a few more that were charging towards them. Another Santa came in and delivered some serious punches, to which the gem avoided. Shifting their arms to swords, they sliced up the Santa's arm and then proceeded with the head, taking it down easily. Another Santa came in and was about to beat the gem to pieces. But a street sign pieced the Santa's head and shut it down. Falling to the side, they turn to see the shut down Claus and looked up to see Raven with her glowing black hand out. But she too has another Santa from behind with a mailbox over his head and was ready to throw it. Seeing this, the gem quickly reacted and extends the sword arm and chopped that Santa head off and it fell to the floor with the mailbox on top of him. Raven looked back to see the Santa flatten and turn back to see that the gem made it even between the two of them. They soon heard an explosion and looked to see a storefront smashed through with multiple Santa's coming out and with hands of merchandising in their possession. The two looked on and was getting more concerned.

Phos: "There's no end to these guys. How many Funhouse made?"

Raven started to get a little annoyed and got her hands out to take care of them.

Raven: "My guess, a lot. We better get rid of them all before they tear the whole city apart."

With her hands glowing black, multiple objects started to levitate, most of them sharper then others. With a quick wave, the objects flew towards the Santas and penetrate them, tearing them apart to the point that they were Swiss cheese. They all started to fall and shatter while the stuff they stole lay on the floor. Just then, a truck turns to the corner and went full speed towards the two Titans. Turns out, it was another Santa at the wheel that stole that vault truck and was making a mad dash. When he saw the two Titans, he pushed on the gas pedal harder and was heading right towards them. Phos quickly got in front of the truck and melt merge their arms together, forming a ramp that's hard enough for the truck to ride on. It soon hit the ramp and flew high in the air, over the two and landed upside down, skidding to a stop. The two turned to see the truck come to a stop and the gem took a breather while their arms return to normal.

Phos: "Phew… That was to close for call. A few more minutes and I would've been shattered into a million pieces."

Raven turned around and saw more Santa bots fast approaching them, holding random objects to be used at weapons.

Raven: "Don't catch a break yet, Phos. We still have more of those Santas to deal with!"

The gem heard her and turned to see them looking menacing, yet cheerful.

"Ho, ho, ho!"

The two looked to each other and were silent about it. But then, they got their powers and alloy ready and charged in to the attack. Course, there was something else that has happened.

Back at the tree, minutes before the Santa invasion, the two kids were at the sleigh with Santa, wanting to know if he heard them.

"Hey, Santa, didn't you hear us?"

Course, they didn't know that this Santa was in fact one of the robots as his eyes glowed red followed by the jolly cheer.

"Ho, ho, ho!"

The kids got the shock of their lives as they screamed while the Santa was heading towards them. Of course, that scream startled the reindeer and they soon started to gallop away, tugging the sleigh along with it. The three were caught by surprise as they jumped in opposite directions. The sleigh soon rode away from the damage tree and went down the streets while the other Santas wreaking havoc.

Not far from them, Robin and Starfire were holding their own as they handled a couple of Santa bots. Robin knocked down a couple of them with a swing of his staff while Starfire used an uppercut with a star bolt to knock the head off another one. As they were busy, they could hear the scream of children from the distance and turned to see a runaway sleigh that had two kids and a Santa bot. Seeing them pass by, Starfire was in a panic and told Robin about it.

Starfire: "Robin! The children!"

Robin could see them heading down the streets and got the message.

Robin: "I see them!"

He soon got his communicator out and warned the others about it.

Robin: "Titans, there a runaway sleigh with one of Funhouse's Santas terrorizing two kids. Find that sleigh and stop him from hurting them!"

As he said that, Phos and Raven were taking out as many bots as they could as Phos extended their arm and it split into multiple directions, turning into spikes and penetrating the metal chests. Once they took them out, they heard the scream from close by and looked up to see the sleigh at the end of the street.

Phos: "Found them! I'm going in!"

They soon ran to the sleigh, hoping to reach it. At the same time, Raven formed a wall shield and protects herself from the Santa army. She looked back to see the gem leaving and told her to wait.

Raven: "Phos! Wait! Don't go on your own!"

She was soon being pushed back by the Santas as the shield of failing her.

"Ho, ho, ho!"

The telepath gritted her teeth and was getting tired of the same line.

Raven: "Really starting to hate that cheer."

Meanwhile, Phos was running towards the end of the street, but it was a bit too far and was already starting to pass them.

Phos: "Oh, no! You're not leaving me in the dust!"

They soon went on the car and jumped off it. While in the air, they used one of their arms to stretch and grab hold of the end of the sleigh. Their heels soon liquefy and merge together, to form a snowboard before landing on the ground. They soon rode through the streets and made a sharp turn by using their other arm to create a curved bowl. They were soon in pursuit as they rode after the sleigh. Looking on ahead, they could see the Santa getting up and approached the kids in the back end. Knowing that they have to hurry, they pulled their arm in and approached the sleigh in quick speed. Meanwhile, the Santa cornered the two kids and were eager to destroy them.

"Ho, ho, ho!"

Before he could do something, Phos got close enough to jump and tackled the Santa back to the front. They soon got their arm out to form a sword and were about to slice him, but he ducked down and avoided the swing. That swing soon cut the wooden holder to connect with the reindeer and both them and the sleigh was split in two separate directions. Phos blinked and realized what just happened.

Phos: "Oh… That's not good…"

The Santa soon used his legs to kick the gem down and they fell on the sleigh and hit their head, feeling a minor crack from inside. They soon looked up and was the Santa bot cracking their knuckles to tear them apart.

"Ho, ho, ho!"

They were soon caught by a slope on the street as they were all pushed downwards, with the gem on top of the Santa this time.

As that was happening, Beast Boy managed to get all the civilians on the rooftops and assured them that everything will be okay.

Beast Boy: "Okay! You guys are safe. Just wait here until all this blows over. I'm sure that these Santa rejects will be gone before Christmas."

He soon turned into a hawk and flew overhead through the city to find any more bots around. But when he was searching, he noticed a runaway sleigh without a reindeer controlling it. But what caught him by surprised is Phos was in the sleigh with the Santa and two kids. Seeing the situation, he decided to swoop down and headed straight towards them.

Back with Phos, they pinned the bot by accident, but decided to use this as an opportunity to take it out. With their arm turning into a spike, they stabbed the Santa multiple times to shut it down. But it managed to recover and pushed them side. The gem was soon at the side edge of the sleigh and the Santa was on them, grabbing their neck to choke them.

"Ho, ho, ho!"

Phos didn't breathe, thankfully, but they could feel the cracks coming from their fragile neck. Getting angry, they decided to finish him off completely.

Phos: "Shut Up!"

With the blade out, they slice him up from the crotch to the head. The Santa started to spark and shut down, splitting in half and falling off the sleigh. The gem took a breather and was fortunate enough to get out of it. Getting up, they check their neck, hoping it wasn't to sever to get their head off. But turning to test the grip, they noticed the two kids starring at what happened. Turns out, they saw the whole thing and the fact that Santa was cut in half. Blinking at them, the gem rubbed the back of their head and nervously chuckled.

Phos: "Heh, heh, heh… Pretend you didn't see that?"

The two soon noticed something else and screamed, pointing right at it.

Phos turned to see what they were pointing at and realized it was the end of the street, but with no reindeer, they have no way in turning.

Phos: "End of the line!"

Pretty soon, they could hear the cry of a hawk and looked up to see Beast Boy coming down to them. They soon waved to him and ask for some help.

Phos: "Beast Boy! Gonna need a reindeer here!"

As if on cue, BB got to the front of the moving sleigh and turn into that reindeer to match its speed. Phos quickly used both arms to wrap around the green animal by the waist and used them as a way to control him. The changeling soon turned and avoided the crash, but they were in an active street, with cars driving between them. He maneuvers through swerving traffic while Phos and the kids were holding on for dear life. As they were trying to not collide, two more shadows flew above the city to follow the sleigh. The group managed to avoid the traffic and got off the street, but were soon at one of the piers and was reaching the end. Phos notice that and told the changeling to stop.

Phos: "That's enough, Beast Boy! Stop! Stop! STOP!"

He soon stopped with his hooves, trying to stop the ride. But the snow was slippery and was difficult to stop. The three were reaching the end and covered their eyes, fearing that they would jump off the pier. But by the time they reached the end, they didn't feel the descent or the splash. When they uncovered themselves, they noticed that they were ascending to the sky. On the kids noticed it and realized what it was.

"Whoa! We're flying! It's a Christmas Miracle!"

Phos noticed it too and looked around to wonder what happened. When they look down, they smirked and told the kids what happened.

Phos: "It's not a miracle, it's my friends."

Down below, Starfire was holding on to the sleigh with her alien strength while Raven used her magic to levitate Beast Boy. They soon made a turn and returned to the city, rejoining with the others.

A few minutes later, the streets were cluttered with pieces of broken Santas as Robin and Cyborg surveyed the damage.

Cyborg: "Oh man… Look at this! First alien saucers, now this? Doesn't Funhouse have to ruin this season?"

Robin looked to this and agreed with him.

Robin: "No way tell him to stop, Cyborg. He's a mad man. All he wants to do is spread chaos throughout Christmas. He needs to be stopped."

It was then that he heard a voice from above.

Phos: "We couldn't agree more."

Rob and Cy looked up and saw the rest of the Titans coming down on the sleigh. Once Star and Raven placed the sleigh gently on the ground, the kids got out and hugged their mom and dad, who were worried about them. The rest of the Titans soon joined them as Beast Boy turned back and was a little tired after galloping around. Cy noticed it and decided to joke around about it.

Cyborg: "So… How were those reindeer games, Rudolf?"

Beast Boy glared at him and thought that it wasn't funny.

Beast Boy: "Oh, ha ha. Very funny. You go and try to run in fast speeds with a sleigh behind you. Not that easy."

Star and Phos approached the leader and was getting angry over this.

Phos: "Second time… This is the SECOND time Funhouse is attacking Jump before Christmas. How low can this Puppet King wannabe can get? At least Puppet King was a treat with what he did to all of us."

Starfire: "Indeed… We cannot let this Funhouse ruin Christmas anymore! We must find him and bring him to justice."

Robin nodded and got the idea.

Robin: "Way ahead of you guys. We need to find Funhouse quickly before Christmas. If we don't, who knows what else he has plan for this city. Everyone split up, spread out throughout the city. If you find Funhouse or anything related to him, let us know. We'll meet up back here in half an hour. Move out!"

So the group immediately split up and search throughout the city to find Funhouse. As they were leaving, one of the Santa's heads was blinking red and watched the group leaving, malfunctioning on the cheer.

"Ho, ho-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o"

Meanwhile, in a dark location, Funhouse watched the whole fight that happened and was somewhat impressed. Rubbing his hands together, he knew that everything is going according to plan.

But how I managed to put it together, turns out that it was all right. A few changes here and there but I think I got it down.
