Chapter 13
Tempest was waiting for him.
Draven promised he would be at the last day of the tournament to cheer him on. It was family tradition now after all, at least ONE member of the family goes for the final day to see Tempest's last match. Yet, as he waited outside, the building went into sudden lock down. The sirens wailed aloud.
"Attention, attention, level dragon threat in the area. Please evacuate immediately. Level dragon threat…"
He couldn't get back in now, so, Tempest decided to see if he could deal with it himself. Venturing away from the arena, he picked up on a powerful aura. Something strong was coming his way. "So be it…" he muttered.
He walked down the streets barefooted, looking about he didn't see a monster, but saw his brother Draven approach. "Older brother! We got a monster to deal with, are you here for that?" he called.
But there was no answer.
Tempest froze as he saw Draven grabbing the sides of his head oddly. He then gave out a powerful scream that shattered every window in the area! "Brother…" he whispered.
Draven then locked eyes on him.
For a moment, Tempest froze as a look of rage came over him. Then suddenly, his eyes became sad, tears followed as he shook his head and tried to run, yet something… something was doing this to him. "Draven… please, listen to me!" Tempest called as he approached. "You're in pain, I can see you are. But please, if you need to unleash your anger of it. Unleash it upon me!" he said. "I can take it, I can endure, and I know you would never harm me for the sake of doing so. If it will help relieve your pain, then, stand and strike!"
Draven couldn't speak, he kept shaking his head oddly, trying to stop something from harming him. Tempest then saw something strange, his brother's tail. It wasn't acting out like Draven was, there was a look of worry as it suddenly revealed a third eye in the middle of its head. Draven's head started to glow; he looked up at Tempest and then screamed. "Get away from me! I can't… I can't control myself… too much noise… GAAAHHHH!" he screamed aloud.
Tempest was thrown back, yet landed on his feet. "Noise?" he muttered.
Draven suddenly broke free from the odd hold his own tail placed upon him. His eyes filled with rage as they came upon Tempest. He charged right at him, but Tempest was ready. His feet planted he was rushed and pushed down the street with great ease. However he endured.
His feet withstood damage from his training, no doubt they were just as hard as his serpent scales if he were to guess, if not, the bottom part would have been sheered off from the friction alone! Draven unleashed himself, attempting to strike him down with precise blows.
He endured. After all, the months he spent training were not in vein. Not only did his brothers show him how to keep on his feet, they also revealed how they do battle. Draven is up in your face. He will do everything possible to get in close to strike and do so when the opportunity is given.
He began to throw punch after punch, Tempest managed to block them all, yet the impact of them, were nearly too much to handle. He was wearing himself down already, and yet his older brother appeared to have energy to burn!
He was caught off guard for but a moment, an uppercut came out of nowhere and struck him on the chin! Tempest stumbled, as Draven smelt blood. He was going in for another strike, when his tail got involved again! It coiled around, and tried to restrain him! "What is going on? How can his tail do this if Draven is driven mad?" he asked aloud.
Draven was roaring out in anger, he tried to break free but caused only harm to himself. "Brother, please, calm yourself down. Try to settle your mind!" Tempest pleaded.
But he was too far gone. He kept growling, and glaring at Tempest as if he were the enemy. "Brother…"
"You can step down, we will take it from here!"
Tempest paused. He was so consumed with the fight, he didn't see those surrounding him. "The army…" he whispered. "Listen to me! My friend is not in his right frame of mind, something is making him…"
"We are awaiting orders…" the man in charge said, but there was a grin on his face that Tempest didn't care for. "You did will surviving against a monster like that…"
"Monster… he's no monster, he's really my brother!" Tempest protested.
There were no shocked looks. There was no surprise. But the man continued to grin and evil smile. "No shit, which is why we were told to leave you be… But first…"
A sharp pain suddenly pierced him.
In his back, Tempest reached and took out a dart. "What… why are you… why are you…" his words began to slur, the world blurred as he collapsed to the ground, unable to move. The last thing he saw was the soldier in charge, he was smiling wickedly and said. "We got the last one, ship them off to the doc!"

Tempest slowly came too.
His body pinned to the walls, he couldn't move, despite his attempt to break free. Yet as he looked about, he found he wasn't alone. Next to him was Titan, bounded the same way. Yet across the room were his siblings. All of them out cold.
He tried to struggle and break his binds, but as he did, he heard a wail. A crying screams of his little brothers! "What… no, what are they doing here?!" Tempest demanded.
Then, they came out.
Men that all looked similar to Dr. Genus flooded the room. Some tended to the twins, others went to his siblings. But there was one who stood out the most. He was bigger and stronger looking than the others, but was smiling a greedy grin. "At long last, I got you back!" he said joyfully.
"Who are you? What do you want?" Tempest demanded.
"Isn't it obvious?" the man asked. "You may call me 106. And my how I WAITED for this day!" he said with pure joy. He walked up to him, merely inches from his face, Tempest glared this man in the eyes. "Why do you look so ill upon the man who ensured you were born?" he asked.
His heart froze. "The house of evolution…"
"Smart boy. Oh my, it's been so long since I have been able to pull one over on Garou and his family. It hasn't gotten much easier because of those damn cyborg brothers of Melee Brawler. But, it makes what I get in the end, all the more gratifying. You see, it has been my dream to be the ultimate being! And. I am getting closer to it. I needed you… the prefect subject. The absolute best blend between a Brawler and Amai Mask… I have always been fascinated with Amai Mask, such secrets he kept hidden. But now I have that, but also, an untainted Brawler genetic sample with the infants over there…"
"Don't harm them… please. Do whatever you want with me, but leave my little brothers out of this!" Tempest begged.
"Uh, I don't think so. I need them, I admit, I will be taking a lot of blood from them to be sure my tests are correct…"
"Don't."
Tempest paused as Titan appeared to have come too. "Please, my little brothers are mere infants, they are of no use to you. Please, do what you want with us. But leave them alone, I promised my mom I would protect them…"
"Oh a fine job you have done there child…" 106 snickered. He approached Titan, grabbing his lower jaw rather aggressively and forced him to look into his eyes. "Do you see any sort of compassion in my eyes? A sign of mercy?" he asked. Silence came from Titan as he was shoved. "No, for if you have mercy, you cannot make progress. You have compassion, then there is no point in obtaining greater knowledge…"
"Why are you doing this? Who helped you!" Tempest demanded.
106 smiled. "Dear boy, this was all me! I used those who wanted to get rid of your family to get what I desired. Supplying them with data, how else do you think they knew about the pitch that would drive half monsters insane? You were quite right to remain in your human states, but now, it's just a matter of time…"
Reaching into his pocket, he had TVs turn on before Tempest. The news was full with the attack from his families. The military called in, and were awaiting farther instruction.
"It appears some casualties have happened… Oh look there, live!" he laughed and pointed to the screen.
Tempest watched in horror, it was Snek. He had been fighting Pythan for a while and Pythan was on the brink of being struck down…
