Disclaimer: I do not own Devil May Cry or Percy Jackson.

Everyone on board the ship took steps back as the tentacles slowly started wrapping themselves around the ship. They didn't know what they belonged to and they had the feeling they weren't going to like it.

"What is that?" Silena asked in a whisper as she looked fearfully at the tentacles.

"Ma'am." the zombie captain said to Clarisse. "Cannons are ready."

"Steady now..." Clarisse said as the tentacles weren't doing anything...yet but she wanted the right moment to shoot.

"Any ideas as to what this is and how it could drive off Scylla and her sister?" Percy asked the others.

"I have a few ideas but I hope I'm wrong. There are many sea creatures with tentacles, but one that can drive away two of the worst sea monsters in Greek Mythology and all sealife around? I think I know which monster could cause this." Drake said, and he really hoped it was not that monster.

"FIRE!" Clarisse commanded and the canons fired, hitting the tentacles that were around the ship, causing whatever they belonged to to roar, something that shook the water. It was as if Godzilla had come to them to destroy...oh that was a scary image, Godzilla with tentacles.

The crew cheered as they watched the tentacles go back into the ocean. Percy and Tyson did the same while Drake looked into the water.

"Did we kill it?" Percy asked.

Olympus

"That won't stop it." Athena said grimly. "They just angered it."

As if to agree with her, Drake spoke on the Iris message. "No...we just made it angry."

Suddenly the ship lurched again, sending everyone off their feet, with a sailor saying. "Not good."

The tentacles burst out the water and drove right into the ship, smashing through it and taking whatever person they could grab and tossed them into the ocean or to whatever they belonged to.

Then...they retreated.

"What now?!" Clarisse shouted, fed up with this.

Her answer came when something big burst out the water and everyone's eyes widened as they saw exactly what the creature was. It had a huge body with a pair of arms, it's legs were the tentacles, and a covering removed from it's top to reveal a head, with eyes and a mouth which opened and the creature let out a loud, roar that shook the bones of everyone.

"What the...?!" Percy was wide eyed.

"The Kraken!" Drake shouted.

"T-The K-Kraken?!" Annabeth said with fear as she gazed up at the largest sea monster that was so feared by all in Atlantis. "We can't beat that! We just can't!"

Drake aimed his two guns and narrowed his eyes as the head leaned in closer and, channelling demonic energy from his Devil trigger into the guns, he fired two bullets which struck the monster right in the eyes, causing the Kraken to roar in pain and clutch it's face. It then dove back into the ocean.

"is that it?" Clarisse asked.

"It'll be back." Drake said coldly. "And when it does...it will be very much pissed off, and looking for me maybe." He looked around ebfore asking. "Are there any small boats to use?"

"Yeah why?" Clarisse asked.

"We are leaving this ship. We cannot take it down." Drake said as he holstered his guns, a plan coming to mind but he knew everyone won't agree with it, that's why he needs them to leave.

"Alright." Clarisse nodded before looking at the sailors, or what's left of them. "Prepare the boats!"

Drake stared into the ocean, keeping an eye out as everyone began to eave, getting the boats. He sighed and closed his eyes, muttering to himself. Why did he have to do this? Must have got it from his father.

"Clarisse." Drake said upon seeing the daughter of Ares walking by and she walked over to him and he whispered into her ear, whatever it was it made her look at him with a frown but nodded.

"The boats are ready." Annabeth said as she came up to them with Percy, Tyson, and Silena. Drake shared a look with Clarisse and she nodded and stood behind Silena.

"Okay." Drake nodded and followed them to the boats. There was only two, the remaining sailors taking one while the demigods and Cyclops would take the other. Once everyone was on, Drake placed one foot on it, patted Percy and Tyson on the shoulders, then he kissed Annabeth on the forehead and hugged her, much to her confusion. "No matter what, stay strong little sister."

"What do you mean?" Annabeth asked, getting a little worried now.

Drake ignored her to cup Silena's cheeks with a small, sad smile before he passionately kissed her, which surprised her before she ksise dhim back, wrapping her arms around him and he did the same to her before he reached up and pinched a pressure point, knocking her out.

"Woah! Drake what did you do?" Percy asked as Drake handed Silena to Clarisse.

"Saving you." Drake said and with a hard push of his foot he sent the boat away from the ship.

"No! no! DRAKE! DRAKE!" Annabeth shouted as tears came to her eyes, the memory of Thalia choosing to hold off the monsters coming back as she now knew what Drake had in mind. Clarisse stopped her from jumping into the water while Percy was wide eyed as he saw his best friend, practically his brother, staying behind to save them. "LET ME GO! DRAKE!"

Drake took in a deep breath and walked back onto the deck, watching them go.

Olympus

All the gods and goddess were wide eyed as they watched what Artemis son had done.

"No, no, no, no! No!" Artemis shouted as tears came to her eyes, seeing what Drake had in mind.

"He's not actually that stupid, right?!" Ares shouted before he was knocked out thanks to Athena trowing a book at him.

"He's giving himself up to save everyone..." Poseidon said. "He shot the Kraken in the eyes and knew it would come back with a hatred for him, wanting him more than anyone else."

Artemis began crying and her brother held her as he too was concerned and worried for Drake, while Hestia placed a hand on Artemis' back. Athena placed a hand on her sister's shoulder, though she was grateful that her nephew chose to let her daughter go, knowing he may die from this. He would rather see Annabeth out of the way before doing such a thing.

Drake stared until he couldn't see the boat with his friends and the love of his life on it and he sighed, closing his eyes. "Gods, Dad, Mom, Aunt Athena, Godmother Hestia, Uncle Apollo, Grandpa Sparda, Grandma Eva, Uncle Vergil wherever the hell you are... give me strength."

He opened his eyes when feeling the ship lurch a little and the sound of something rumbling. He took a breath as he heard something moving behind them and slowly turned to see the Kraken had returned, it's head a lot closer now. Despite it's eyes being shot, it still could see and Drake could see the glare it was giving him.

The Kraken then roared.

Drake stood his ground but closed his eyes upon smelling it's breath, some of it's drool landing on him. Once it stopped roaring, he shivered and nodded.

"Not so bad." Drake said with a shrug before he smirked at the Kraken. "If you think because I'm alone and it means I'm easy pickings then you understand very little. I'm taking you down, big boy."

He unsheathed Judgement and charged as the Kraken opened it's mouth and he dove in, changing into his Devil Trigger. With a yell that sounded more like a roar, he applied demonic energy and, unknown to him, godly energy, into his sword and it glowed as the Kraken closed it's mouth and he swung his sword, sending a crecent shaped wave at the Kraken's insides but the result caused a huge explosion.

KAAABOOOOOM!

Olympus

The Gods and Goddesses' eyes widened from the explosion that came right after Drake dove into the Kraken's mouth and it made some of the Gods cover their eyes before it eventually died down and they looked and their eyes widened to the size of dinner plates.

The Kraken was dead, golden dust beginning to disappear as the ship had also exploded and was a flaming wreckage that sunk beneath the ocean.

And there was no sign of Drake Redgrave as well.

"No..." Artemis whispered and burst into tears, thinking her son had died. Apollo held her close as tears came to his eyes. "I never even met him..."

"Hey, he defeated the Kraken." He said to her softly. "Something no one his age can do and it is no easy feat."

"Apollo is right." Athena nodded. "That is truly a great accomplishment to achieve."

Hermes grinned. "Somebody should tell Hercules he;s no longer the greatest demigod ever, not after that."

Her smirked a little at that. "I have to agree there." It helped that she liked Drake. He was a naturally born demigod from marriage, loved his family dearly, which made Hestia love him.

"What about Drake though?" Aphrodite said with worry for her hopeful future son-in-law. "We don't see any body."

Suddenly a letter appeared in a golden flash on Hestia's lap and she picked it up, her eyes going wide as she read it aloud. "'Don't worry about the son of Artemis. Signed...Mother'."

The Gods' eyes all widened, now knowing who sent the letter, especially the original six Olympians. Artemis was more happy, knowing it means her son is alive. Quickly, she teleported away to go visit Dante, needing him more than ever.

With Drake

Drake, unconscious, clothes ripped, and blood over him, washed ashore on a beach. Two figures walked towards him.

"That was truly an amazing performance." A woman's voice said with the softest, kindest voice. "You must be very proud of him."

"As should you. We both should." Another woman said with a soft smile. "We must heal him and get him some new clothes."

"Yes." The other woman nodded and they carefully picked Drake up and brought him to their home...

I'm sure you can guess who one of the women are since I made it clear in that small letter there. The other woman should be obvious as well, who else could be very proud of Drake aside from Artemis and Apollo?

And the fight with the Kraken there, I took some inspiration from Pirates of the Caribbean, such as Jack standing his ground against the Kraken after being handcuffed on the Black Pearl.

But obviously that didn't happen here so he had to make it look like he was going only to trick his friends into leaving him behind.
